The Beedrill looked at the Sneasel in a mix of horror and confusion; a Mamoswine sounded quite mammoth in size, though he had no idea what they looked like. Sounded frightening from what the Sneasel said, specifically about 'being fed for months'. He flinched as he thought about it, wondering what made the Sneasel think that this was something that they could do. Well, when together then they probably had a chance to take one down. <Well...if we can find one, then sure.> He said with a look of doubt, wondering just what he was signing himself up for. He was willing to do it at least, to try and feel alive again and break out of his stupid shell. He regretting agreeing the moment the words spilled out of his mouth though, feeling as if he was getting involved in something stupid, pointless, worthless, and deadly.
<Then you, weasel of many lies, will lead the way.> Chromate mocked as he took the first step out of the cave, feeling the chill of the wind greet him upon walking outside. It probably was a bad idea to forget about the fire that they were leaving unattended, which hopefully wouldn't melt the place by the time they came back. He waited for the Sneasel to lead, planning on following him until they encountered something worthy. <I'm hungry...why can't the prey just walk to us?> He asked with a whine, buzzing back and forth nonstop with impatience.
Seamus was glad to see Ethyl being useful once more, as the Cubchoo fainted after that fierce Aqua Tail she took a few steps back with a tired pant to make sure the bear wouldn't surprise her with an attack. "You're getting better, good work." Seamus complimented her, which made the Totodile's face brighten up instantly as she felt her chest flutter, completely bewildered from that small comment from her trainer. He never did that. Never! She did something good, making her turn to him and simply beam at him as he indifferently took out her Pokeball and returned her. She did her part, now about the Cubchoo? "I don't collect ice types, but someone is bound to want you." She looked completely abandoned out here without a parental figure around anyways, and he took pity on her. Taking out a Dusk Ball, noticing the darkness of the cave they were in, he tapped it gently against her snout in an attempt to capture her.

The pokemon stayed inside, giving a loud roar from the cave in hopes of scaring away Cromate from entering as he definitely wasn't ready for this type of battle yet. The Sneasel did not even make a sound as it simply went so quick, he wasn't even in there for a few seocnds when he became nothing at all. Just a piece of meat for the Mamoswine to enjoy.
At the meantime, on a much happier note... The Dusk Ball quickly hit the Cubchoo and immediately sucked her in very hard so that any foul attempt at resisting was lost because they were inside a cave and the power of the ball intensified due to being in a cave. In the end, there was nothing she could do but become a pokemon for Seamus. Now that that was taken care of though... Better find Cromate before he also becomes meat for the Mamoswine to enjoy!

The Sneasel was followed with haste to the eerie entrance to a cave, one where Chromate had his doubts about. In fact, he was starting to feel very bad about this cave. Shivering because he could hardly peer into its depths, he looked at the Sneasel with a nervous and hesitant stare. He didn't feel safe--he could hardly see inside of there! Maybe the Sneasel could see, with all of the confidence that was being emitted from the dark type, creating a sense of hope in the Beedrill as he wished to see how the wild Pokemon lived. <A-Are you sure it's safe?> No response as the Sneasel rushed in without him, leaving Chromate staring hopelessly at the entrance as he tried to see what was going on inside. He heard a terrifying rip-- flesh and bones, being crushed and cracked. It created a cold chill in his body as he stood there completely paralyzed. Was the Sneasel hunting successfully...? Or wait, no. Was it the big thing that did the tearing? He had no idea what this 'Mamoswine' thing was, but after waiting a while he had an extreme sense of doom and terror as he twitched all over. His eyes were uncontrollable as he suddenly darted back to the tree where he first met the Sneasel, going as fast as his wings would allow him with a Tailwind.
Where was Seamus? What was even...safe anymore? The Beedrill panted heavily as he was overcome with a sense of dread, leaning his head heavily at the base of the tree as he let out a few pained shudders. He wouldn't cry--he couldn't. He was too frightened to cry out like a child, and too used to things like this happening to him to really be surprised. Why was his life so terrible? He couldn't even imagine telling someone the things that he had been through so far in his life--there were too many things, it was too much. It would be one hell of a book though, he was sure of that much.
Seamus was pleased with the capture of the Cubchoo, imagining that she would be an interesting battle partner with the Ursaring he captured recently. Two bears, different species, both in his possession. It made him feel as if he was doing a good job by collecting these different species of Pokemon. That being said, he only had taken a picture of one note worthy event. The one of the mother Ursaring holding the body of her child, frozen and dead. It would be an interesting shot, showing Pokemon grief to the scientific community. He took these thoughts with cold indifference as he left the cave, seeing that it only had a dead end and didn't go much further.
Once emerged into the light and greeted by the cold wind, he couldn't help but notice smoke from a nearby cave. Interesting, did Pokemon use fire? Or were there humans about? He wasn't so curious that he had to investigate the abandoned cave of the Sneasel, and instead preferred to check up on his Beedrill. "What's wrong? Sad your friend left you?" He said bitterly, a bit too bitterly for the Beedrill's tastes. Chromate could only leave his head sulking against the base of the tree, mourning for the Sneasel quietly to himself.

NOCTOWL APPEARED ! A wise Noctowl sat perched on a high branch of the tree the Beedrill and Sneasel had met on, feeling as though she'd witnessed all that had taken place. Her feathers were frayed upwards and oily, a sign of poor hygiene; she spent her time not washing, but stalking others whose friends had just died. She knew the signs, after all.
The owl was intrigued by the Beedrill's grief, and feeling like she could help, flapped her wings and carried herself down to a branch on the snow in front of the insect. Her talons wrapped around it and she perched, her puffing chest sagging a bit as she rested her grown body. There was no sign that she noticed the human standing there, but she addressed Chromate alone. <I can feel your friend's spirit. It calls to me. He wants to say something to you before he departs.> The bird crooned in a low, almost prickling voice.

The Beedrill didn't take notice of the Noctowl's presence as she landed on the tree branches, figuring that it was only the rustling of the wind against the leaves as he shivered from the cold. It was clear to him that it was not the case when he felt a very ominous feeling taking hold of him, as if he was being judged by someone. Seamus? He didn't care much for the trainer, but the strange feminine voice did call out to him after processing what she said. Slowly he lifted his head, as if he was holding it up with the weight of the Sneasel's death on his mind, feeling shaken but not stirred on how close he had come to death as well. He still somehow hoped that the Sneasel would come running back, asking comically about what was going on, and why he was being so mopey. Was this why Pokemon craved to be owned by humans? Safety?
He wanted to give the wild life a chance, but it had clearly backfired. The experience seemed fun, new and exciting until he saw the twisted path that laid beneath it. It made him feel cold, want to crawl under a blanket, rest near a fireplace and cry himself to sleep. Chromate could never quench his thirst for companionship, and simply gave up on trying to cure it. If he was doomed to be a shell serving his own trainer, then so bee it. <If what you say is true, then tell me.> The Beedrill asked with his heart beating faster, as if excited to hear what the Sneasel had to say. If it was true, that is. Such a miracle seemed too good to be true.
Seamus didn't know what to make of this--an interaction scene between the Noctowl and his suddenly depressed Beedrill? Ugh, this better not take as long as the Sneasel. Sure, he felt confident to leave his Beedrill behind in the dust since it was one of the strongest Pokemon he had, but he didn't want to be without his strongest weapon either. It made him weaker as a trainer, and simply less prepared in the long run. He'd give them a moment though, some time to get their things together if the conversation served a purpose. Whatever it was.

She opened her mouth, but closed it as the Sneasel was still telling her something. Eventually, she opened it again and this time began to speak.
>Your friend whats to thank you for being in the journey with him. And he also wants to say that it isn't your fault that he died. There was nothing you could do. He was too ambitious here.< The Noctowl said, before having to pause to take a breath before he could continue on.
>He also wanted to warn you against fighting that Mamoswine as it is a true beast. And... And...< She said, coming closer to the bug, her unsanitary smell reaching closer and closer to the nose of Chromate before she was right next to him.
And there, with all of her power, she tried to slam as hard as she could at the Beedrill before she said the final parting message of the Sneasel. >He wanted me to do that! For not helping him out!< She said. Boy, that last part was contradictory to everything else... Now what will Chromate do.

The things the Noctowl knew about the Beedrill's adventures with the Sneasel surprised him as he gasped at the pure facts. She knew he was a Sneasel, she knew they were after a Mamoswine, and she knew he died by its hand. Whatever a Mamoswine was, it terrified him at the mere thought. His eyes threatened to tear up, but dammit he was a man, and men didn't cry. The burden of the memory was heavy though, making Chromate slink down the tree as he plopped into the snow, only feeling good when his body started to become numb from the chill. Seamus might see him as useless in this state, but he didn't care. He was an emo bastard that got screwed over multiple times and was constantly traumatized, he was allowed a few moments of glorious emo.
Some of her words were of comfort, as he never really saw it as his own fault, but it was a relief to hear as actual words said to him. Someone bothered to talk to him, even though he felt numb. There was nothing he could do; total eclipse of the heart. He never planned on fighting the Mamoswine for revenge either, as he was too much of a coward to actually fight such a Pokemon. Revenge would only get him killed, and probably his trainer and allies as well. He didn't want to risk it. The Noctowl's voice were eerie as it grew closer and closer, and Seamus was freaked out and backed off as she used a swift Take Down on him, making the Beedrill faceplant into the snow.
<Pfft!> Some snow got in his mouth, and he ended up swallowing it. Standing back up in a hurry and glaring at her, he had no idea what that blow was even for. She was weaker than him at least, so it didn't hurt too badly, but still! Ow! He deserved it though, accepting her explanation for the move as he let out a heavy sigh. It was pointless, even with the attack. Maybe he was a little more awake now and wasn't in as much as a grieving mood as before, but he was done. Dead on the inside. He tapped Seamus's belt for his own Pokeball and got sucked inside, returned and giving up on everything like a child wanting to hide from the world.
"Ugh. You better not attack me too, you hooligan." Seamus scoffed, threatening the bird in case she started to go wild on him. What a bother, bah humbug! He had places to be! He started to leave the bird to her own hobbies as he continued on the path, having a very tight schedule and places to be if he was to make it to the rest house before it got too dark. It would take a while though, so he tried to plan his time wisely as he trekked onwards.

Hiker Bruce !Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud. The Noctowl didn't smile nor frown at the sight of the Beedrill wincing with pain, watching the insect get himself back up again. She had no spite for him. She watched as he entered his pokeball, slowly backing up again as she ruffled her feathers. Already she was feeling the presence of other spirits who wanted her to be their messenger. She gave the trainer a mere glance as he warned her not to attack him, then turned around and flew away to continue her duty.
Further up the path, a Hiker was singing loudly. His gruff, manly voice rang from almost a mile away, echoing through the mountain. "Oh, she'll be coming around the mountain when he comes! ♪" He cried out, continuing to sing as he steadily walked the opposite way Seamus was traveling. When he caught the man in his sights, he grinned. "'Ello! 'S that girly hairstyle keeping your face warm?" He remarked, letting out a hoot of laughter as he slapped his knee. Clearly he had no regard for the trainer's FEELINGS

There was an awfully large, fat and obnoxious younger man flaunting his energy as he hiked along the path, singing merrily with his lucsious facial hair blowing in the wind. He looked proud of himself, as well as his voice as he flaunted his singing talents with his hearty voice, filled with energy and charisma as he burst down the mountain with energy. Seamus would've preferred to ignore him with no mention about his song, annoying voice, or beard that everyone should've been jealous of, but that was not the case. The comment of his girly hairstyle made him stop and glare at the man for starting something like that, as this was a totally legit hairstyle back in the 70s. Long hair was in back then, and it was making a comeback now. That being said, it was keeping him warm, so it served as a purpose for survival out here in the mountains instead of something silly like attracting mates. He had little interest in things like that, especially with his inexperience with women. It was not bound to happen, ever, in Cheyenne.
What could he really say to this guy though? Was starting a fight worth it? If he had any pride, then at least a snide and rude comment back would be fitting. "I'm sure your blubber serves the same purpose." Seamus couldn't tell if the hiker was all muscle or fat, but he was leaning towards fat judging from his chubby face. The baby face irritated him, since this younger man seemed so youthful! So energetic! What in the world was up with that?! If only he could be so lucky to have that kind of energy every damn day when he was climbing mountains. To make things worse, he had an entire mountain to go up, while the Hiker was almost done on his way down. How irritating.
He planned on continuing his walk up the mountain, but would such a prideful man such as the hiker really let Seamus get away with that comment? The older and much skinnier male was definitely weaker in comparison, and Bruce had little to worry about if he expected Seamus to punch him anywhere. It wasn't going to happen, Seamus was a weak wimp that only held a bitter tongue. He inwardly regretted what he said though, feeling an odd chill from the doom that could be awaiting him.

Hiker Bruce ! Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud. The proud and stubborn Hiker did not like the insult that came his way and he quickly stood in front of Seamus, not allowing him to leave at all. "Blubber? Blubber?" He asked, clenching a fist as he was getting ready to punch Seamus in the face for making such a statement. "Boy, you better watch what you say before I turn your pants into a skirt!" He said angrily, his fist still clenched as he was about to give Seamus a new makeover. Hopefully the old trainer had a quick plan or had something up his sleeve, as getting decked by a big burly man probably wasn't on his list of things to do before reaching the top of the mountain. The hiker would not bulge either, he simply stood in front of Seamus, trying to impose his size, weight, and muscles on the lanky old fella.

Uh-oh, Seamus was going to get beaten up by a 35 year old bully with emotional issues. Sad thing about this? He physically did not stand a chance and had no way to squirm his way out of this one. The second his path was blocked by this hiker guy, he felt an ominous sense of doom as his heart pounded and his hands got all sweaty, even while cold and wearing gloves. Bruce looked as if he was a badass Mikey from Recess that suddenly grew balls and was ready to beat his ass down. "Aren't you a bit old to be saying things like that?" He asked a bit hesitantly, but pointing out enough reason to calm the hiker down.
"We don't need a legal situation." He stated again, nervous about Bruce letting him have it. Bruce was all twitchy and clenchy as he looked like he was ready to strike. Seamus wasn't sure what else he could do besides threaten to sue, completely disturbed that Bruce looked ready to kill over one small comment. Why were people running around on the mountains like this? Were they serial killers?
If this did escalate into a situation, then he had little choice but to throw out a Pokemon to defend himself. Hey, it was a Pokemon world. It wasn't as if he was settling things by playing a children's card game. Oh no, we are all mature than that.

Stubborn, masculine, proud. bruce thought about seamus' words. yeah, he probably was to old to be saying things like that. he was thirty-five. still getting older. he wasn't a kid anymore, to run around saying foolish, immature statements. after he thought about it. he wasn't even sure why he'd gotten all mad in the first place. seamus was only stating a fact. besides, his 'blubber' was pretty toasty. he patted it now. " still, watch what you say. i'm depressed about my weight, okay? " he whined, eyes tearing up. he took out a pokeball of his, threatening to use it. now, it'd be utterly hilarious if he, in all his rage and anger.. whipped it at seamus' head. then the pokemon came out. haha, that'd be funny. he sighed, tossing the sphere up in the air, catching it. repeating. god, this was such a boring life.

Bruce seemed to calm down at the verbal threats, or in Seamus's words, reasoning. It was both really, and as adults they really shouldn't be fighting each other without expecting serious consequences. That was why they had cute little monsters beat the pulp out of each other to settle matters such as this. Bruce seemed oddly sensitive about the matter, patting his belly and being surprisingly honest about it. It was enough to make Seamus rethink his opinion of the man, who seemed to have some aggression problems from the way he kept tossing that Pokeball.
He looked bored; was this a hint at a battle? Seamus could only sigh then stare a little in thought, before nodding. "We can battle, if you have the spare time." He offered, since he expected these routes to be awfully lonely anyways. Was that Bruce's issue as well? No people in sight while travelling the rough terrain? He had to imagine that there were more wild Pokemon than actual people, so that was probably where the issue started.
"We could do a double battle, they're faster if you're in a hurry." Actually, Seamus was the one in a hurry. How much time would this take? Would he end up sleeping outside and not in a rest out for the night? Gosh, he was going to have to pay attention to how he managed his time.

hiker bruce ! Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud. The hiker quickly took notice when Seamus made a comment of his pokeball and suggested a double battle. He wasn't one who really enjoyed double battles as solo efforts were a lot more masculine, but he also wasn't one to back down from a challenge ever as he was proud and stubborn. He quickly threw the ball up in the air once more but instead of catching it this time around, he allowed it to hit the ground so it could pop open and release his first pokemon, Trucker. Then he quickly took out another pokeball and threw it at Seamus to scare him a bit and show his masculinity. It came halfway to the trainer before popping open and releasing Solidia who quickly coiled her way back to Trucker. The two looked at each other, giving a smile before they faced Seamus and whatever pokemon he'd bring out. Trucker quickly looked at his hiker trainer seeking approval, which Bruce was not so eager to give yet because his pokemon had not earned it in the battle. This made Trucker frown a bit, so Solidia quickly coiled to the ice type and began to touch his sympathetically with her tail. >It's okay, he just wants you to prove it first.< She said, and Trucker quickly beamed with excitement. >Yes! I will prove it! I will do it!< He said out loud. Already seeking approval. As this occurred, Bruce waited for Seamus to send out his pokemon, so he can show his masculinity and win. Trucker Level: 37 Gender: Male Ability: Ice Body Moves: Icicle Spear, Harden Uproar, Astonish, Icy Wind, Taunt, Ice Beam Personality: Eager to please, somewhat klutzy, fiercely loyal. ::Onix:: Solidia Level: 38 Gender: Female Abilities: Rock Head, Sturdy Moves: Harden, Bind, Screech, Rock Throw, Rage, Smack Down, Sandstorm, Slam Personality: Typically cool and composed, almost motherly.

At the sight of the two Pokemon on the field, Seamus took it as an accepted challenge as he examined both Pokemon. He was well familiar with Onix, as he happened to possess its evolved form. Ah, poor Colbalt. She was a good team member to have, but he had to put her away due to having such an unbalanced team. He was currently trying to modify that situation, but it was still going to take time time, experimentation, and work. He would get the hang of this strategy thing in battles, since he was constantly being surprised by unfamiliar attacks and Pokemon. For example, it was his first time seeing a Pokemon like Trucker. He needed his Pokedex briefly out for this one, just to confirm the species name and type.
"Xenon and Acetate, show them what you can do." He released the two steel types at once, revealing both a haughty looking Forretress and a humble Bastiodon. The Bastiodon made a very loud thump as he collided with the ground, landing and shaking his head as he stared at the two foes with a submissive stare, not wanting to bother anyone specifically. A battle was going to happen though, he could tell. They were going to be at each other's necks, even if he wasn't a fan of putting himself at risk.
<Alright, who did you piss off this time to make a battle happen?> Xenon almost sounded amused as he stared at the two Pokemon, watching the Onix comfort the Vanillish while being a bit late in understanding the context. What was going on? <I think it's a normal battle.> Acetate commented, not feeling very hostile vibes from the trainer or his Pokemon. Xenon looked a bit surprised at that one, but figured that Seamus could be decently social with strangers. Potentially.
<Ok, you use Taunt. That Onix reeks of trouble, just do it.> Xenon ordered Acetate around with his best judgment being put to use, to Acetate's surprise. This didn't usually happen in battles, but he decided to trust his long time friend and ally. The Bastiodon grunted as he started to stick his tongue out at the Onix, making completely derpy faces to try and tell the Onix that he wasn't taking her seriously. Ow, what an insult.
"Toxic the Onix, go for it." Seamus didn't want Xenon being bossy, and with a snap to his voice he reminded the Forretress that the trainer was the boss around here. Xenon huffed at that, but spewed out a Toxic on the Onix anyways. Why was he doing this? It didn't seem productive. What about Trucker? Hey, listen!

hiker bruce !Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud.
this definitely was not manly at all. his poke'mon were only in the first turn, and he was getting whipped already! he was going to have to beef his poke'mon up later, because this was just pathetic to sit and watch. " oh god, uh. quick! ice beam and slam you two! " this was why he absolutely despised double battles. they weren't manly - they were sissy! sissy crap wasn't even that fun to participate in! gosh.
the onix was the main target, it seemed. she had to same calm, though. as the taunt came at her, although she stayed pretty neutral on the outside, she was buttmad on the inside. oh, they were going to pay! the rocky poke'mon was going to batter them all up with attack moves left and right! then a purple sludge-looking thing came at her, and she shuddered. oh god what was that? it left with a searing hot pain covering her rocky body, and it seemed to sap her energy after every turn. so, when the silver-looking pokemon went to ram as hard as she could into the pink-and-red one, right after where she should make contact, she stopped. the pain shot up everywhere, it was like she was on fire!
and vanillish, on the other hand, wasn't at all poisoned. in fact, he was kind of bored with how he wasn't at all targeted. how lame! he looked over to bruce, his trainer. ice beam? well, he'd make it the best damn ice beam ever! the icy breath was released from his mouth, and went billowing straight towards the crab-looking thing.

Now that the Onix wasn't as much of an issue besides using physical strikes, Seamus decided to be kind and give the Vanillish a bit of a break. It wouldn't have to deal with a taunt or a toxic, but instead it would have to handle whatever other strategy he tried to utilize. Xenon could tell that the Vanillish was a bit bored with that turn, but did it really have to result in both Pokemon attacking him this turn?
Xenon grunted as he was blasted by the cold ice beam, as well as the harsh slam from the Onix. The combination of attacks really made him concerned about his armor, even though both moves weren't very effective. It seemed as if he was at a level disadvantage this time, which really made him nervous. At least Bruce wasn't smart when it came to using attacks, otherwise he'd be screwed over.
It was time to put the pressure on all of the Pokemon in the battle, and they were really going to feel it now. "Time for a little Gravity." Seamus shuddered when Xenon did it literally when he said 'Gra', not even finishing the word when he felt a heavy sensation cover him. Acetate winced as well, feeling heavy and sluggish as he stared at his two foes. The move had no choice but to affect them, since it had no escape.
"Mirror Shot on the Vanillish. Acetate, go for an Iron Defense. Then Body Slam." Why Body Slam? Well, he figured it was only fair because Xenon was resistant to both attacks. As Xenon was firing off a super effective blast of metal at the ice cream cone, Acetate's body glimmered as he became bulkier defense wise, before attempting to slam into the Onix with his intense girth.

HIKER BRUCE !Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud. Bruce, too, felt the gravity once it settled on the field, making him feel much fatter. How uncomfortable, especially since he'd already established that he was self conscious about his weight. In addition, his pokemon were feeling awfully sluggish and probably couldn't try to dodge the next attacks.
Which was bad, because Mirror Shot was pretty intense against ice types. Trucker let out a squeal of pain as the metallic beam scored a chunk of ice off of his side, leaving him panting and even less able to see. But he was still fighting fit, at least. Solidia was hit by the Body Slam, grunting just a bit as she backed up. But the attack had done barely anything.
"Solidia, Screech and Smack 'er Down!" Bruce commanded, his blubber jiggling as he did. "Trucker, Harden and Icicle Spear the same guy." He bellowed, looking mighty proud with how well his pokemon were holding up considering his opposition.
The two pokemon carried out their attacks. The Onix released a formidable screech before launching a huge rock towards Acetate. Trucker hardened his creamy body before launching a few icy spears at the same target.

With the Gravity in play, only fairly inaccurate moves were bound to be dodged. Both sides were limited, and it was highly unlikely that Seamus's heavy set Pokemon were bound to dodge anything. That being said, it didn't stop moves from being ineffective. The Onix was too taunted to use a Screech, which saved Acetate before the sound waves could even reach him. <Voice problems?> He asked tentatively, hoping everything was ok with Solidia, at least health wise. What if she had voice cancer or something dangerous?
He was stuck taking both of the hits this time, grunting as he endured them with his Iron Defense saving his rear end. It really was worth it, with those physical attacks and his resistance to their types. Seamus could only wonder if either knew a water or ground type move that could screw him over, because he was well aware of his Pokemon's weaknesses. Xenon's Quick Claw started to activate, and suddenly the Forretress was chattering away to his foes.
<Ha! Are you ready for this? Are ya, VANILLISH? What about you, Onix? How's the weather up there? Nice, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. I thought so.> When Xenon chattered, he chattered a lot. Seamus sighed in annoyance and decided to give the Forretress something to do besides TALK. "Rapid Spin and Bug Bite on the Vanillish, keep it busy." Correction, keep Xenon busy so he'd shut up. As Xenon was busy being a bug munching machine that looked like a crazy beyblade, that left Acetate with nothing to do. "Acetate, try a Swagger on the Onix." Man, they were just messing around with Solidia now. All of her status conditions kept piling up.
<Um, right. Forgive me.> Acetate winced, not liking the attacks he knew, even though he was a kind and humble Pokemon. He really didn't like acting like an arrogant snob with a stick up his ass, but he would if it helped the team. <Ahem.> Clearing his throat, he was ready. <Hi, I'm a Lucario. I'm sooo great and awesome, look at my furry tail. Don't you want it? You can't have it. Ever.> He said in his deep, low voice, and it was easy to tell that he felt awkward saying this kind of thing. <An Onix is nothing compared to me.> There we go, Swagger that ho.

HIKER BRUCE !Age 35. Stubborn, masculine, proud. Bruce seemed rather embarrassed about commanding the Onix to use Screech when he realized that she was still taunted from before. The Onix practically choked on the attack, wheezing instead of screeching. <No.> She replied calmly to Acetate, giving him an unamused look.
Vanillish let out a cry as suddenly she was whupped and munched at the same time by the scary Forretress. Eventually he shook him free, giving him a frightened face as he listened for trainer's commands. Meanwhile, the Onix was watching with a straight face as Acetate began to DAZZLE her with his swag. The last line got her, making her narrow her eyes in bafflement. <That so?> She replied with an enraged growl quite uncharacteristic of her as her mind started to jar. Her attack suddenly shot up, and she was feeling all sorts of sensations. Without even waiting for a command, she snarled and went for a rage against the impudent pokemon.
"Trucker, Harden and Astonish Xenon." He said with a clearing of his throat. The enormous ice cream nodded obediently, heightening his defenses before rushing at the live beyblade with a derpy, yet oddly frightening face.
