One of the first main ethereal skills is that Devilyn appears to share a very empathetic nature towards others, being able to read aura's to decipher the persons emotions and true feelings. Unlike a ninetales who has strong telepathic tendencies, the extent of her gift only goes as fair as reading surrounding atmospheres, because of this she can easily get over-whelmed when in groups since she can't control this. Due to ninetales being a pyro-based creature, Devilyn's body retains constant pent up heat, causing her temperature to sky-rocket at all times and give the illusion of her having a fever at all times, she has high heat resistance though finds herself uncomfortable when confronted with water of any sorts. Devilyn may also have had a long life a head of her, if she actually had the many tails of the fox, though since she only has one due to her weakened Pokémon genetics, it is still uncertain if the ninetales legends of living long effects her or not, though it is very unlikely. Finally the last thing that was seemingly passed down to Devilyn was the vengeful curse that ninetales possess. Though the girl only has one tail, she is extremely defensive over it and though she is normally of timid nature, if it is touched or tugged she finds it a personal attack and is quickly set off in a horrid mood. Much like the ninetales one-thousand year curse, Devilyn seems to be able to give bad luck to those who merely brush the tail for a short amount of time.[/style] |

Such a purity that shares the likeness to the first flakes of snow in winter, the lack of color is due to her fathers shiny ninetales status, and his white hair having stronger recessive traits on his daughter compared to his wife's blonde hair. The length varies depending on the layer you look at, though at its longest it falls down to her lower back with razor-cut strands. Her hair gets more choppy when it comes to the roots, certain areas being chunked together in a rogue messy style. Eyes: |
Skin Tone/Frame: Delicate in structure, Devilyn shares a rather feminine body frame, one which looks fragile to the touch. Designed in a petite manner, Devi is short and slender, each movement followed out in a fluent and dance-like manner, graceful in contrast to a sometimes clumsy nature. Porcelain skin is smooth to the touch, pale due to the lack of sunlight she gets, though matches her snow-white hair, making her red eyes contrast against the other-wise bleached appearance.
Minor Features: Against her white complexion, a few deeper colored scars roam her body showing imperfections in the visual perspective. The most noticeable ones being along her arms due to biting and clawing of different Pokémon that her parents bred. Clothing wise, Devilyn wears whatever fits nicely on her frame, usually not anything dark or too flashy, but time to time she'll find herself sporting a long sleeved shirt or small dress to hide her pokemorph features. The only consistent item that she is usually found with is a ribbon-like choker around the base of her neck, the ends tied together within the loop of a bell.
Pokemorph: When it comes to distinct Pokémon features that Devilyn shares with her shiny-ninetales counterpart, there really isn't a lot of them due to her weakened percentage of genetics in that field. Yet, it is still very clear that she is a pokemorph from what features she did manage to obtain, like the crimson red eyes that sharply glare even though she actually isn't trying to stare harshly, the white hair, sharper canine fangs, and the fluffy yet smooth tail that emerges from her tail-bone. The tail mimics that of a single one from a ninetales, silver fur flattened done into a satin like feel, glistening in the light to encourage those around her to stroke it even though she is disgusted by such an act. A soft blue tips the tail, which finalizes the thought of her origins being that of a shiny.[/style]

[atrb=vAlign,top][style=text-align: center; background-color: #101010; color: #f9f9f9; width: 104px; font-size: 10px; font-family: Candara;]Personality[/style][style=border: 2px solid #101010;][/style][style=width: 350px; font-size: 10px; font-family: Candara; border-top: 2px solid #101010; padding-bottom: 7.5px;padding-left: 5px;]Positive Traits: Modest, Respectful, Caring, Sensitive, Sincere, Docile, Generous, Positive, Unselfish.
Negative Traits: Indecisive, Guarded, Timid, Mistrusting, Vengeful, Naive, Lack of Self Confidence, Scattered, Narrow-Minded.
Favorites: Devilyn has a large fascination with anything that puts the sweet sensation in her mouth, whether it's the artificial flavoring of candy, or the natural sugars of fruit. She was usually rewarded by her father with a sucker of the sorts, and that is why she can usually be found gnawing on one. It eases the mind, and gives her some energy, that is before she crashes. Since Devilyn lacks the ability to fly, the closest she can get to the sky on her own, is climbing a tree and relaxing. She enjoys the sense of freedom it brings, as well as the ever-lasting acceptance of nature. Usually when she can't be found, one should look up and she'll come into view. Devi is a fearful little thing, so with that comes a slight timid nature, because of this she takes her time, though when she can she'll take the quickest way possible to get wherever she requires to go. It's a fast release of tension, and gives her an adrenaline rush. One of the only moments where she'd be smiling with joy would be whenever she's hitching a ride on a larger Pokémon or open-topped automobile. One of the only creatures that Devilyn enjoys more than others company is the bird. They are free, timid, and have the ability to fly. Something that she's always been amazed with. She could easily spend her days bird-watching if given the opportunity.
Dislikes: One of the first things that comes to mind when relating Devilyn's dislikes to society, would be being touched by others. She finds physical contact extremely intimate and something that only close friends should do accordingly. Other-wise she finds being touched purposely rather disrespectful and her mood can take a turn for the worst when confronted with someone who spits on her beliefs by being too forward. Her strong dislike of contact only fuels her timid personality, making her come off as rather flee-ful and doe-like in nature, and almost on cue Devilyn will find the quickest escape route if she feels backed into a corner. Though, retaining some ninetale like qualities, the girl is completely protective over her tail, and finds it the most disrespectful thing a person can do to her if they touch it, even by accident. Being a creature of light, fire typed that draws it's energy from the sun, Devi has taken a slight hatred for the darkness and what waits within the safety of the shadows. The fact of not knowing what remains unknown within the shaded areas frightens her and she finds herself often times curled up in the corner of a room where she doesn't feel out in the open, safely backed into a corner. The last thing on her list of strong dislikes, is men. Boys. Males. Everything with brutish features, Devilyn already has a fear of and will openly avoid confrontation with. This wasn't sparked alive by any past situation, just an inner preference that wards her away from the opposite gender. She'll avoid eye contact, flee, just anything that will make her that much more distant from males as possible. If found backed into a corner with one, Devi will frantically try to escape and immediately have a minor anxiety attack from the strain it puts on her tolerance. Just a personal quirk in general.
General Description: Her way of thinking is rather childish, though that doesn't mean that she'll duck her way out of every tough situation that she is confronted with. Usually Devilyn faces it with a bit to much sincerity, making sure that she understands the situation and has an equally passive opinion on the whole ordeal. Very rarely does she actually attempt to snake her way out of issues if she finds it easier, though that doesn't include leaving the situation if it doesn't include her, or if she feels as if she isn't mentally able to support it.
Her innocence is pretty much the same childhood innocence everyone starts out with, and she is keen on keeping it that way. Devilyn can seem rather adorable at times, blushing slightly at something that may give her a jolt of random embarrassment. Shes not one to easily hide her emotions, nor try, but despite that she'll get put off if someone points out her easily read expressions.
Though, Devilyn comes off mainly adorably shy for the most part, she actually has a secretly grudge-ful side of her that is only because of the ninetales nature that she carries at times. She can be unforgiving at best depending on what it is someone did to her, and if someone takes it upon themselves to touch her tail, well, they just burned a bridge for a good while it seems. Devi isn't the person to exactly lash out and do anything to the person herself, though she'll view them in such regards that they might as well have killed her family.[/style]

[atrb=vAlign,top][style=text-align: center; background-color: #101010; color: #f9f9f9; width: 104px; font-size: 10px; font-family: Candara;]History[/style][style=border: 2px solid #101010;][/style][style=width: 350px; font-size: 10px; font-family: Candara; border-top: 2px solid #101010; padding-bottom: 7.5px;padding-left: 5px;]Mother: Isabel Grace Kalliste. General History: The city of Ecruteak housed the Kalliste family, the ruins of the burned tower giving myths and stories that taught the children of their first legendaries. Old-fashioned and traditional in style, the historic land-marks brought travelers from far and wide to gawk in amazement, though it was the actual residents of the city that gained the privilege of being blessed by the subtle presence of differing legendaries. Only a few could catch slight glimpses of the sacred Pokémon that derived from the fallen ashes of the bell tower, but those that did told many tales of the creatures they saw to the younger children, gathering them around to plant the myth's into their mind. So, when growing up adolescents found themselves always awe-struck to maybe see a legendary, but never truly capture the creature in respect to their freedom.
This freedom was something that many sought to destroy though, wither the legendaries independence was shattered completely or not. These people were what drived the small population of celestrial pokemon into hiding, only showing their heads when confronted by someone of pure heart. Pokemon collectors came in the dozens during certain times of the year, seasons bringing more chances of capture, yet slowly crushing the beauty of the natural gods.
A small family grew up on the outskirts of Ecruteak City, their house within the shelter of the forest behind the sacred Brass Tower, near the autumn tinted trees. A man and woman shared a deep-seeded passion of breeding high standard pokemon for trainers to use to their liking, enjoying giving back to society even if the pokemon being bred may have been of common rarity. It was more about giving life, the beauty of such an innocence that a baby-pokemon had with it, and the duo grew up with a large land-base made accustomed to the pokemon they bred. Everything carefully done, but only if requested by someone, supply and demand was strong and the Kalliste's were always weary of over-breeding a certain pokemon in-case nobody would want it. So it wasn't a surprise when their daughter Devilyn found herself aiding in caring for the pokemon.
Being born with similar fox-like features as her father, the pokemorph girl felt sheltered away by her family, the trees her barrier from life which she rarely went past. Daniel was concerned about the worlds current views on species like himself and Devilyn, diversity being an issue when he grew up despite the change in day and age now. Due to his own fear of his daughter growing up in the same social background as himself, the ninetales pokemorph insured that Devilyn never ventured too far off their property, and had a keen grasp around her freedom.
Though, Devilyn didn't seem to notice her restricted independence. The girl had grown up with that sort of teachings her whole life, and it had quickly become the norm' for her, she couldn't see flaws within his reasoning, and wouldn't dare to try. Solace was easily found within the child-like pokemon that populated her backyard, Devilyn would find herself outside for the majority of the day nurturing the little creatures if they needed anything, feeding them with a bottle when they were young, to playing with and socializing them when they grew older. This sort of life soon shaped Devi into a caring composure, her own innocence remaining intact so that she could help pokemon grow close to her without giving off an intimidating aura.
Yet, as years went by the teenage girl soon found herself discontent with her fathers ways. His worry for her fueling her own choked and restricted feelings about being kept at their house. Sure, the historic values of the city held her interest, along with past events keeping her at bay in Ecruteak for the majority of her life, though she soon found herself longing to leave the region, go somewhere new, explore despite her timid nature. Life was good here, simple, nice, consistent. But the wonders of the world stretched further than her comfort zone, and her ninetales tendencies kicked in, urging for her to shape herself away from her family, become independent instead of locked away in one surrounding. Her father disregarded her pleas to leave at first, though Devilyn soon talked him into allowing her to leave when mentioning that she would stay with her grandparents in Cheyenne, where diversity seemed to be at it's peak due to the regions coming together. Thus, Devilyn soon found herself on the ferry to the new area.
Brass Tower history: Word had spread quickly across Ecruteak that a Suicune had been spotted outside the city, seemingly frantic as if in search for something that it could not find without getting close to the city itself. Its cries could be heard throughout the days, as if summoning something to come to its beckoning; yet such attempts were fruitless as it returned every evening to call out again. The residents of Ecruteak had grown desensitized for the most part to such a sight and sound throughout the many years, since the dog trio happened to linger close to their birthing place time to time, though many travelers found themselves drawn out in search of the suicune, scaring the creature away from whatever it was looking for.
This went on for a few weeks until the creature became more forceful and daring in it's hunt, sometimes found just on the outskirts of the forests, just about stepping in the clearing of the city. Rain-storms followed shortly after the legendary became more offensive with its desires that nobody seemed to know, yet having been revived after the rain that drenched out the fire of the brass tower, the towns-folk found themselves relating the sudden storms to that of the Suicune they so often heard. People kept in their houses, flooding occurred to the point that the pokemon center and market risked closure due to the unsafe environment. The Kalliste family also found themselves shielded away in their house, sheltered from the harsh rains while caring for the pokemon in their house-hold that they had bred.
It was late one night when Devilyn found herself kept awake by loud cries, each one more sorrow-filled and pained. It was a sound that the girl was familiar with, one that a young pokemon made when it found itself backed into a corner, calling for its parents to come rid its terror. Out of instinct, Devilyn left her room following the noise to help out what she thought was one of the pokemon in her care, only to be misguided by her thoughts. The rain continued to fall, yet throughout the roars of the rain against ground the cries could barely be heard from the brass tower that had been burned down all those decades ago. Soon, the pokemorph girl found herself running through the rain, just able to see figures through the darkness before standing at the entrance to the tower. The cries were louder, signaling that the injured pokemon seemed to be within the tower, longing for any sort of help to get itself to safety.
The girl entered the tower only to see the ashes and fallen debris of the remains of whatever the tower once was. And using the light from the moon as a torch, Devilyn continued to search for the pokemon that was soon found. A newly born suicune was trapped in the tower, wedged underneath a piece of fallen wood and the floor, its body weakly struggling due to its days spent captured here. Its ribbon-like strands were torn and dangling because of its violent struggles against being weighed to the ground. And while the awe-stricken girl hesitated for a moment, she had made her way to the pokemon and slowly bent down, cooing softly to give a peaceful atmosphere to the suicune child, much like she would have those baby pokemon she grew up with.
The new presence caused the suicune to flail harder, squeaking out in desperate pleas to be helped and Devilyn's ninetales like genetics helped her send her own calm feelings to the suicune to make it struggle less so she could help it. Managing to pull the board up with any and all force she could, the suicune dragged its body forward from the rubble, whimpering out and breathing heavily due to its freedom being given.
The child legendary laid there, and Devilyn quickly rushed to its side yet halted near its flank to extend the back of her hand towards its' maw, and waited. Minutes passed before the suicune pup leaned forward to nudge and take in the scent before flopping its head back down. The girl from that point forward nursed the small legendary to a steady health for a few days, returning to the insides of the brass tower every night to feed and check on its wounds, until the creature found itself up and walking around again. She never told anybody about it in fear of others rushing the legendary, though Devi found herself there when the suicune was healthy enough to leave and return back to the forest.
Inside the burned tower, the suicune waited for its final greeting by the girl, and Devilyn met the suicune for the last time that night. The creature had allowed Devi to stroke its head, and afterwards placed a small ribbon in her hand, the ribbon being a part of its streams that tore off during its first struggles after being trapped. A peace offering and a thanks for helping it, and while Devi returned it with a small crimson ribbon of her own, tying it around its facial crust, she tied the ribbon she was given around her neck. The suicune soon took off from the building, darting into the forest to meet its frantic father, that had been searching for its child all those weeks. That was the day that the rain storms stopped and the last day that the cries from the suicunes sounded.[/style]

[cs=2][style=font-family: Candara; font-weight: bold; font-size: 10px; text-align: center; ]Template by Zenoske of OTE & SCS[/style]
