He wanted her to avoid the attack as the -1 defense wouldn't help his situation, but he could not open his mouth and mutter the words. Instead, he simply had to watch as his pokemon was struck by the poor Crush Claw which weakened her even more as she was about the point of fainting right then and there. Luckily for him though, he still had a bit left to win the match, hopefully.
"Alright Toothless! Lets do it now!" He said as he gave a nod to his pokemon. His Salamence looked at him and smiled before she opened her mouth and sent a large stream of water at the Sandslash. The attack was incredibly dangerous as it would do a heck of a lot to a pokemon like this who was weak against water.
Sam simply watched as the attack made its way toward the pokemon. Now Tristan had to think on his feet and act smart and fast before it could all go down hill. He wondered what the trainer would do next.

Thanks to quick claw, two offensive type attacks were possible, which is enough to completely finish off the salamence: something that he absolutely needed to do or he'd easily lose the match. "Shina, get ready for the next attack. After, us-" before he could finish, he was shocked to see salamence use hydro pump. This was bad for Tristan, as this could potentially ruin his chances at victory.
"Shit! Roll out of the way!" he said, unable to think of any other way of doing it. Thankfully, Shina managed to jump out of the way, fearing for her life as the water barely touched her. There went a good chance for Tristan, as the quick claw was wasted. He had an option to use it, but quick claw's beneficial effect was gone thanks to Sam. He clenched his fist, feeling tense as he was pushed into that position.
"...that was a good move." He said, noting how Sam put him in that kind of position. Thankfully, hydro pump had a lower accuracy than other attacks. But since Shina didn't have the tenacity of WuKong, the match could easily fall with little to no fight. Suddenly, an idea. "Shina, use swift!" He shouted, the ground type spinning and sending stars at the dragon type. He felt better, especially considering swift's perfect accuracy. He wasn't going to lose without taking the Salamence down. He did not want to lose this match like this. Not with what he went through with Shina on route 3.
He looked back a Sam, wondering what he was going to do next. Tristan felt much more into it now. |

He was hoping she'd take out another pokemon but that was still more wishful thinking than anything else. Still, he was impressed with his Salamence for taking down one pokemon at the very least. That was very impressive, even though she failed on the second. The swift came and knocked her unconscious, draining the rest of her health while she was at it. It was a bit sad, but Sam accepted the fate as he got ready for part two of the battle.
Now, the fun could really begin. "Congrats on taking down my first. Now try this one." He said as he returned Toothless to bring out Titanium, his Metang. This would show that the trainer was no joke. He didn't just get lucky with one pseudo. He had two.
Titanium hit the field and examined the battle immediately. >The Sandslash looks a bit weakened. Lets use speed against it!< He said psychically to Sam. The blond agreed and went for a quick swoop.
"Bullet Punch!" He said and Titanium rushed forth and tried to smash the Sandslash with all of his might. It was a quick swoop.

"Alright!" He shouted, feeling confident in his victory. It certainly took a lot of effort to take that one down, but it was well worth it now that he could face the next of Sam's three pokemon. He was impressed that Shina managed to take her down, as well as happy that WuKong managed to do some damage to her. Tristan understood what WuKong was going through and the need to win. Great, now he had to deal with WuKong on their journey. That is going to be fun.
"Alright, then. I'm winning this thing!" He said, wanting to win in order to see improvement in himself and his trainer skill. Shina raised her claws, feeling ready to battle. However, what came out on the battlefield was certainly unexpected: a second pseudo-egendary. Tristan stepped back, a little surprised by Sam and his second pseudo-legendary. Does he have more? Tristan felt how serious Sam was and prepared. Anything could happen.
Tristan watched as bullet punch pushed Shina back a distance. However, it wasn't enough to disorient her due to her increased defense. "...If you're that serious. Then I won't consider this another hassle. Shina, use defense curl then show him a night slash!" He shouted, with Shina curling up into a ball. Then, she used her darkened claws to attack the steel type. He wanted to reassure that he was giving it his all, as opposed to just tread forward like he normally did. |

The bullet punch came and barely did any damage to the ground type because of the increased defense of the Sandslash. He forgot about that when he gave the command but now remembered, so he would not make the mistake again. Especially after he saw a third defense curl, that wasn't good.
The attack that came from the Sandslash wasn't too bad though. It hurt because the Night Slash was dark, which was strong against Titanium's Psychic half. Luckily the steel half reduced some of the damage. And also his natural defense against physical attacks helped lessen the situation nonetheless. But the amount he sustained compared to the Sandslash was evident from the move. And Sam realized he might need to boost his pokemon also.
"Iron Defense. Then Psychic." He said. This would do a lot more damage, especially being a special attack and not a physical one. And the iron defense would help too as it would lessen the damage done from moves like night slash, and he needed that.
After the command was given, Titanium hardened his body until he sent a hidden psychic energy at the Sandslash to attack her specially. Hopefully with that, they'd be closer to defeat #2.

It was as if this were a big test set for him. It begged the question "how much did he improve?" He wanted to win, that's for sure. But at this rate, was winning even possible? Ugh, this was annoying! The only thing he can do now was to fight back! Thankfully, the bullet punch did not pierce through her hide due to the increased defense. However, what he had to deal with now was psychic attack that knocked her back.
Shina felt the attack hit head on as the special defense she had was lackluster compared to her defense. Tristan watched as Shina struggled to get up, unsure of what is going to happen. "Ugh...dammit." He said to himself, frustrated at how this match was coming along. Along with the powerful psychic attacks Metang possessed, the increased defense would hinder his progress. Shina, despite her exhaustion, stood up, still ready to fight.
"Come on, Shina! Use Night slash again!" He said, running out of options in this. It was something, at least, as it was normally effective. He was certainly frustrated, especially at how the match was coming out. |

His Metang was also doing very hot himself as his defense had increased so the attacks done on him were much weaker now. The Night Slash came again, this time it reached one of his weak areas and caused a critical hit on Titanium which was unavoidable.
Luckily though, even though it was a critical hit, the higher defense reduced the attack somewhat so it hurt a lot less than it would have normally. And Sam, trying to test his luck decided to go with a new move now. "Metronome." He said to his Metang and Titanium quickly began to wiggle his finger before he created his move.
Soon, a dozen petals flew out of nowhere and made their way toward Sandslash. Even worst, they would continue for two more turns!

He was a little for Shina's safety, as she was barely holding on against the second pseudo legendary. He worried for the outcome of the battle, as he could lose at any given moment. The thing that did well for her thus far was her increased defense, which would only delay the inevitable fainting. But the amount of time is all he needs to turn this battle around and win. If not, he can at least call this an even match.
Suddenly, petals started to appear around he metang and rushed towards Shina. "Shit!" Tristan shouted as the petals attacked the sandslash, as if they were tiny blades all striking her body with great precision. When the petals cleared up, Shina was still standing! The increased defense had left her surviving, albeit barely. It was enough for Tristan, as quick managed to keep itself alive. "Phew....that's something at least." He said, relieved as the battle did not as soon as it had to.
"Alright then. Shina, use double night slash!" He said, prompting the intelligent Shina to gaze upon the steel type. After analysis, she rushed, aiming at the weakest spots in the metang's defense the best she could. Tristan saw how exhausted Shina was and hoped for the best. His heart raced as he felt the excitement of the battle. This certainly caused him to act a lot less then his usually care free self. |

That was it, that would do it! He had faith that the Sandslash would easily faint after especially considering that his attack was super effective against the pokemon and the shrew had already lost a good amount of health. When the petals cleared up though, it seemed the Sandslash was still standing which made Sam raise an eyebrow. "How did that happen?" He asked Tristan, a bit surprised to see the Sandslash standing after what it had just gone through.
But he did not have time to think about it for long, as the pokemon immediately retaliated with two attacks at once, not one. The two night slashes made their way over at Titanium and slashed him up pretty bad. Luckily his increased defense and the Sandshrew's decreased offense lessened the blow but it was still not fun nonetheless.
>Ouch! That was definitely not good for my health.< Titanium said after he witnessed both attacks. But luckily, he was still alive after so he could counter once more. And Sam was ready to end it there.
"Again!" He said, he knew that like Outrage and Thrash and other attacks, Petal Dance would continue until it finally dissipates. And thus petals were flown for a second time, again at the Sandslash. Hopefully this time it would defeat her.

OOC: Shiiiiiiit that was retarded of me. I was under the impression that petal dance was a physical move. Yup, really my mistake, even if it wasn't intentional. I am SO sorry for the mistakes I've been making this battle. It was not right. >_<. Wow, I must be a pretty retarded battler here if i didn't realize that xD. If you want, you can increase the health of your metang. He returned her to her pokeball, disappointed at the loss. But even so, he was pretty happy about the damage she had caused. It did provide him the lead that he could use. He looked at Sam, wondering just as much as he did about her survival. He thought that petal dance was a physical move, but after a realization, it would have been impossible for Shina to live. "That could probably be the second miracle I'll ever have in my life." Back at the battle, he was down to one Pokémon to use and little options left. Any Pokémon he could use could take a serious beating from the pseudo legendary. And what of the third Pokémon? It could be another pseudo legendary. He gritted his teeth, worried about how the match was taking him. It was like the sparring matches he had. He wanted to win, and yet, he could not help but feel excited about each spar he had with his brothers.
"....*sigh* this is one of the best battles I've ever had. Normally, I'd be pretty fucking laid back about it." He said, smirking and his eyes wide open. His eyes, rather than lazily going over the eye, was open, revealing his clear focus. "But I got to win this. For my sake. I may be a part of Ace, but I still need this win. Go Tony!" He said, sending out his pokeball. From the bright light, a machop appeared. He flexed his muscles, showing off his beauty as he sparkled in the light.
"Don't be so sure that he'll fall so easily. Use bulk up then low kick!" He called out. Tony tensed his muscles, powering up. Then, he attacked, jumping up and swinging his leg, making contact with the lowest point of the Metang. This would cause the Metang to lose balance, hopefully knocking it over due to its own weight. No Guard was such a pain to handle. |

Although, he had his work cut out for him against the next one which was a fighting type. It was strong against the steel type of Titanium although weak against the psychic type so it worked to his advantage. The only problem was, he felt bad that he was still using petal dance, as he could have definitely loved to use psychic at this time but could not do so.
"You are impressive. But I am the admin of Ace. So we can use that argument also." Sam suddenly said abruptly when he heard Tristan complain. He found it kind of funny how much of a mess Tristan was from the battle so far though, it was really funny because he usually imagined himself as the type to freak out like that.
When the low kick came though, he suddenly realized that he did have some things to worry about. Especially with the no guard ability of the machop, it went all out so he was unable to do anything against it at all but get hit. Unfortunately. The attack did quite a number on him, although he was able to survive thanks to his increased defense. But barely survive.
"Alright. Now finish it off. Then Iron Defense again!" Sam said after. And Titanium got to work. First, he created another string of Petals and sent them at the Machop this go around before he finished it finally and became a bit exhausted. Luckily though, he did not attack himself and instead just hardened his defenses to protect against more physical attacks. But with his low health, it is needed but might not even make a difference.

When the petals were over, Tony seemed fine, still willing to fight as he shook off the last of the petals. Tristan was a little worried due to Tony's No Guard ability. Despite the fact that petal dance was a special move, most machop were pretty durable. He was focused on the battle, worried about what the outcome might be. He certainly had his work cut out for him, as he, on average, used two pokemon to take down one of Sam's. If he would win, however, he would feel great about the amount of effort he would put in.
When the metang became confused, Tristan smiled. He was happy that Tony stayed alive long enough to finish this off. "You may be admin, but anyone can be your equal!" He said, sounding as if he should not be considered out yet. This was different, as he normally seemed as though he should not be considered for anything. Perhaps it was the time at the dojo, or even the second gym that drove him to fight a little harder. But for now, it seemed as though the battle was the cause.
"Alright then. Tony, use Leer then Low Kick!" Tristan commanded. Tony then attacked, staring straight at the Metang before using the low kick once more, knocking the metang off balance and hoping to make it fall. No Guard was certainly a pain to handle. Normally he would be a bit angry when he sees his Pokémon knocked out, but in this situation he took it with a bright smile and he accepted the fate that it put him in. He was happy because it allowed him to use his final pokemon, and to bring up the third of his trifecta against Tristan. He took out his pokeball and returned his Metang before he pocketed it away and took a sigh before he opened his mouth and decided to speak to Tristan before showing off his final Pokémon.
"Congrats. You took down two of mine. Now we are at the end." He said as he reached into his pocket to pull out his final pokeball, but he did not yet throw it out. Instead, he wanted to salvage this and keep it in until he needed to use it. "You took down two pseudo legendaries. Very impressive. But lets see how you handle my finale!" He said as he threw his pokeball up in the air.
From it, popped Kore, his Dragonair which completed the trifecta or the triumvirate. The third of the pseudo legendaries. And this Pokémon glistened with the sunlight, seriously looking like one of the most beautiful Pokémon out there as Sam smiled. It wasn't his secret weapon, no that was his Salamence who had already fallen. But it was not a bad Pokémon to have for a finale.
Kore also saw her opponent before she opened her mouth and sent a little spark of blue electricity at the Machop to paralyze him while she was at it. After that, she wrapped her tail around her body before she lifted it and tried to slam it on the Machop. It was a powerful dragon tail, her way of doing some damage to her foe.

He was confident enough to believe that he could put up a fight against the admin of ace academy. Now he was going to drag this out to the end, if not win. Even so, he knew, in the back of his head, that he had to be careful. Even with the boost in strength and defense, coupled with leftovers, Tony was still vulnerable. He sighed, trying to calm himself as he returned to the groove of the battle. When he turned to Sam, he was a bit confused. Sam did not seem angry; rather, he seemed happy about it. It set a sense of insecurity, as he was about to face his third Pokémon.
And that's when the third test appeared before him: a third pseudo legendary. "Oh wow....." Tristan said, looking upon the pseudo legendary with awe and interest. This was going to be the biggest hassle he has ever faced. On the other hand, this is one of the best battles he has ever had. Tony took the dragon tail attack, feeling the strain from the slam. Thankfully, due to the rules set as 3v3, Tony wasn't switched out. However, Tristan was put to the test as he had to face the dragonair with a machop. "Goddammit, you're making this annoying, you know that?" He said, pointing at Sam.
"But oh well. Tony, use bulk up then low sweep!" HE said. Tony, once again, showed off his muscles, his strength increasing as he sweeped the dragonair, knocking off balance. With the boost in power, this could be a worthwhile move. |

The battle was now reaching a climax and he was really happy with how well he had been doing so far. It was a hard battle since he could not use his level advantage to win it, but he knew that in his later routes and journeys level would not prove anything to him and might actually be a handicap. He took this with face value as he tried to sustain his attacks long enough to beat Tristan and win the match, although the outlook seemed a bit bleak right now.
And that was when the Machop bulked up once more before it came with a low sweep which caught Kore by surprise and made her slam on the ground hard as she lost some speed thanks to the attack. Luckily for her, the attack wasn't the most powerful, although it did get a nice boost which made it the type of attack Sam did not want his Dragonair facing. But still, she looked to be in much better shape than her opponent so he wanted to use that to her advantage.
He noticed that Tristan had used two bulk up which boosted the defense. But he knew he could count on special defense himself to win this, so he contemplated the situation before he finally resolved on his attack. "Hidden Power!" He said. It was the strongest move Kore knew that targeted special defense. And thus, Kore nodded and sent a dozen water shards at her opponent in hopes of damaging him somewhat with that tactic.
And after that, Sam realized that she had never really fully utilized thunder wave the turn before. So he chose to do it again now. "Thunder wave!" He stated after, knowing it would give him somewhat of a boost. And with that, she sent a blue electric wave from her mouth at the Machop once more. This time it did materialize in an attack.

With Tony taking a hit from the hidden power, he was down to his last legs in battle. He frowned, gritting his teeth, as he was on his last legs. Yet, he could not help but feel the need to finish this battle. He was too into it, so he could not just give up this fight now. The battle was long, hard, and very annoying, since he had a major loss of his best pokemon against the salamence, coupled with how he faced Sam of Ace. Even if this was one of the biggest hassles he has had, he knew that he wouldn't forget it.
He noticed that Tony was paralyzed, which caused him to enter a completely different state. It seemed as though this was the perfect time to counter attack. "Dammit, this was annoying. But I guess.....this is a good way to draw this climax out. Tony! Use Focus Energy then Karate chop!" Tristan said, his voice loud and clear. Tony then shouted and rushed as hte energy coursed through his veins. With guts active, he was to finish this battle off.
Tristan clenched his fist, the desire to win evident as he watched the battle continue. He knew that he may lose this fight, which was not okay. But he'll have to deal with it somehow. He'll figure it out, he hopes. |

They had done a good amount of damage against the Machop already, so now was their chance to put it away also. The Machop struck with a focused energy karate chop that hit harder thanks to the paralysis of the Machop making the attack hurt a bit more. But fortunately for Sam and his Dragonair, it did not receive a boost from the focus energy as it still did not get a critical hit even with the concentration. This helped the two out greatly as the attack would have done a lot more damage had it been super effective, but since it wasn't Kore looked to have much more health than she normally would have.
And now, the Ace admin was ready to put his finishing stamp in the battle. "Good fight. You are a worthy Ace trainer. But I think I am the victor today." He said as he pointed at the Machop. Kore agreed also, as she used her tail to wipe some sweat off her forehead. She was a bit tired herself from the battle but she tried to muster up enough to win also.
"Twister!" Sam said and he hoped that it would be enough to defeat the opponent. Kore also was very familiar with the dragon move so it worked well for her. She created a large wind and sent it at the Machop. Unfortunately it wouldn't be like gust which was super effective, but hopefully it was enough to defeat the opponent. If not, heck he wanted to prepare himself for a counter so he had another plan up his sleeve.
"Agility." He said, and Kore was now faster than before as she received a speed boost. Hopefully it wouldn't be needed though.

OOC: Yay you won. However, thanks to No Guard, the last attack that hit finished the fighting type off, giving Sam the victory. Tristan stood still momentarily, trying to get the events that had transpired into his head. When he realized the result, he was a little shocked, even disappointed at the loss. And yet, he felt happy about it as it was a good battle: a battle in which he did not just lazy his way out. He returned Tony to his pokeball, preparing to leave for his journey and train more. "Sam.....thanks, for the battle." He said, placing his fist into his hand and bowing before him. And then, he turned away, silently hiding his disappointment and anger at his loss. He wanted to improve, and the victory was to show him that he did. Even if he didn't truly believe in the result, he wanted the victory. |

He suddenly saw the Machop faint and he jumped up and down and quickly high fived Kore for the job well done. The tactic seemed a bit show offy but it wasn't his intention at all, as he was just the enthusiastic type who loved to celebrate his pokemon's victories.
"Great job! Great job!" He said as he saw Tristan turn away and possibly head for the door. "You too. Thanks for the battle!" He said as he returned his Dragonair and remained int he room. He didn't want to just lap Tristan there and leave, as Tristan was already closer to the door so he decided to stay and wait for the trainer to go first.
