Full Name: Alice Theopolis & Aaron Zachary Moody Nicknames: N/A, though together they're collectively referred to as the 'Moody twins'. Gender: Alice is female. Aaron is male. Age: Both are seventeen. Date of birth: Both were born on August 26th. Astrological Sign: Virgo
Appearance: Being identical twins, Alice and Aaron share a number of traits: they are both 5'6", and they both have pale blond hair, tan skin, and blue eyes. However, the similarities end there. Alice tends to grow her hair out long, and when it gets long, it tends to get curly near the ends. It's even been known to get down to her ankles before she'll let anybody get near it with scissors. Of course, this being the Pokemon universe, hair that long isn't terribly strange, but it still demands quite a bit of work to keep it functional and looking good. While Alice isn't one for make-up, she doesn't mind accessories: LOTS of them. Her studded bracelets and belts, her colored tulle skirts, and her various necklaces, hair clips and barrettes all scream her favorite punky style to the world. It isn't hard to tell that Alice is a major spit-fire, just from her clothes, and her ripped shirts, jeans, and tights only serve to emphasize that. Alice has a very slender body shape: even for a girl her age, she could be considered 'flat chested', and she doesn't have much hips to speak of. This doesn't bother her much, though, as it only helps accentuate her punk rock aesthetic. Aaron, on the other hand, tends to dress up in what some would call 'formal' wear: he loves tuxedos, dress pants, vests, and anything else that screams (or is it murmurs gently?) of fine living, gentlemanly manners, and little sandwiches with cucumbers on them. He's not so big on the accessories, himself, though he does always keep a golden pocket watch with him to tell the time, and due to eye problems which seem to have bypassed his sister entirely, he must wear glasses when reading or trying to view something very close. Like his sister, Aaron is skinny by build, though on his figure this turns into a lanky sort of look, like his limbs are a bit too long for his body. This requires him to get all his clothes tailored to fit... only a minor inconvenience for a man who enjoys looking good. (1973 characters)
History: Alice and Aaron grew up as identical twins tend to do: surrounded by people 'ooh'ing and 'aah'ing about their coordinated outfits, wanting to take pictures, and generally ogling them like strange animals at a zoo. Needless to say, neither of the twins particularly enjoyed this. They were born to a mother who had always wanted a boy and a girl, and so was overjoyed to receive both at once, and a father who was simply happy to have any children at all. After all, he was eager to pass down his trades: his love of music, and his love of teaching Pokemon to work. It could be argued that the music went to Alice, and the hard work and dedication required to train Pokemon to Aaron, but then again, who really knows? (Although: Aaron has never touched a piano in years.) The two grew up in Hearthome City, surrounded by Pokemon and people at almost all times. They quickly learned to work with both: the city soon became their playground, and remained as such far into their pre-teen years. Alice quickly gained a reputation as a loud-mouth and a spit-fire, while Aaron refined his gentlemanly compliments on the young ladies that he met. The two seemed to be almost night and day, yet they always got along with each other and usually helped with the other's dastardly schemes (well, okay, Aaron mostly just helped out Alice, but he always took half the blame without complaint). It was on the eve of their sixteenth birthday that their father finally approached them about becoming Pokemon trainers. Aaron wished desperately too, of course, but Alice was more interested in being on stage, as always. With the proper preparation, both of them were sent out into the great wide unknown, always by each other's sides: one hoping to become a Pokemon master, the other the next great Pokemon sensation. Of course, only time will tell if this truly happens. (1854 characters)
Interactions with Pokemon: Alice and Aaron have always had to 'deal' with Pokemon, but due to their father's affinity for them, they've never had a problem with them. Many 'wild' Pokemon existed in the city that were quite friendly to the two, and they always had chances to meet and interact with Pokemon friends of their father owned. Alice has a deep love for any Pokemon that tend to be loud, proud, and in your face (so to speak). Dark types have always captured her fancy, as well as Fire, Bug and Electric types, and while Fighting types may not usually meet her aesthetic fancy, she also admires their strength and speed. Aaron, on the other hand, usually prefers Pokemon with grace as well as strength. Due to having a bit of study in Fantoma's gym, Ghost and Psychic types are his absolute favorites, but he also fancies Water and Ice types. He absolutely cannot stand Bug types, however, and thinks they are disgusting, not quite understanding how his sister can even stand them.
Personality:
ALICE
- WILD CHILD
Alice loves to live on the edge, taking risks in hopes of getting the big gains. She also has the bravery and the confidence to try just about anything, and because of said confidence and bravery, she can usually get away it... usually. After all, the bigger the risk, the bigger the fall, and Alice has been known to fall pretty hard. Her wild personality often makes Alice seem loud and bigger then life, however, she doesn't know when to back down and can sometimes annoy people who can't handle her insanely outgoing ego.
- STUBBORN
With Alice, it is ALWAYS her way, or the highway. Her brother is the only person who has been known to bargain with Alice and win, and even for him, it's truly a fight. Alice knows how to stick to her guns, and in most cases, she's ended up turning around a situation to her advantage without the other person realizing it until a couple minutes later.
- OUTGOING
Even with her strange style and tastes, Alice loves making new friends and learning new things. She rarely ever gets shy, and never wants to just stay in the background. She always must be a central part in whatever situation is going on, and if all eyes aren't on her, she will find some way to get them there. She also isn't above doing ridiculous or 'stupid' things in order to grab attention, and as such, she's incredibly hard to embarrass. Her view of life is truly to have fun and not care much what others think, as long as it's about her.
AARON
- PATIENT
Aaron has a level of patience rarely found: when something doesn't go his way, he simply goes back and does it again to try and find out what went wrong, and fix it. When Alice goes off on one of her strange tangents, he simply tags along so he can get her out of trouble when she eventually stumbles into it. He doesn't mind taking the long way around, nor taking a break from the action. This usually helps him think through problems, but it also makes it very hard for him to speak up when he does eventually decide that something is a waste of his time.
- GENTLEMANLY
When it comes to his treatment of people (both men and women), Aaron is truly an old soul. He will hold open doors for people, complement them whenever he feels it proper, and even bow and kiss the hands of those he meets for the first time. Never one to curse or say a mean thing, he prefers to look on the bright side of all events, and usually defers insults thrown at him with a genuinely nice word or two. Though some may feel that he is false for acting this way, or hiding something nasty underneath... well, the world may never really know.
- LONELY
Although Aaron always has his twin by his side, he will usually admit, with enough pressure, that he constantly feels lonely; that there is somebody, someone out there, who is perfect for him in every way. He's not quite sure if he'll ever meet that person, but he keeps hoping, always. Of course, when Alice is not around, this usually causes Aaron to become quiet and sullen, and he usually drops all his gentlemanly ways until Alice returns. Always that hope...
Pre-starter information: N/A
Goals in Cheyenne: Aaron hopes to become a Pokemon master, and to refine his skills in Pokemon training; he also hopes to make friends along the way, whether they be Pokemon or human. Alice hopes to see if she can make it as a Pokemon coordinator; if not, that's no big deal. She'll just try training instead. And if that doesn't work? There's always being a world famous rock star!
