[/div] "Draa!" Dew screeched as his eyesight became blurry and there were four Sharpedo's. The next thing he remembered was four fangs of ice dashing for his body. He attempted to flee with all his might and thought he dodged. In actuality he just swayed left and right and was caught as the shark's prey. Needless to say Sharpedo with it's monsterous attack and higher level, did some massive damage with Ice Fang - causing Dratini to faint. "What!?" Nick called remembering the prior situation with Rampardos. Again his first Pokémon was annihilated in battle. How many times!? How many? The frustrated trainer once again recalled his Pokémon. You want to attack my weaknesses huh!? Huh? Well how about this! The trainer was overwhelmed seemingly sucked in by anger and madness. Withdrawing a PokeBall he would release his Scizor. At the beginning of the battle, Nick knew Cero would have a type advantage and now was the time to hone in on that. There's no more mister nice guy. This island was really getting to the trainer no doubt, these wild Pokémon were insane. Untamed. Brutal. Perhaps, Team Death is just the same way. Cero was Nick's technical fighter - he hoped this Sharpedo would use swagger, it would just make this battle oh so much sweeter. Balling his hand into a fist first, he would wait before bringing his hand down in a diagonal slicing motion. Zipping through the air Cero would charge, using Focus Energy. Quickly arriving above the Sharpedo, the Scizor would snicker at the beast as his eyes erupted with fury. His claws began to glow a bloody red, as he began to slash down at the beast with Fury Cutter. Cero | M | 26 | Crit Hit: 33% (Scope Lens + Focus Energy) Cero used Focus Energy! That's my prey right there! Bring it back!< He said angrily, about to get in a mad rage. He became even more angry when he saw a Scizor come out, now this pokemon was different from the dragon type. He was all hard and nasty. His meat tasted nothing like the dratini, and the sharpedo instantly knew he wouldn't enjoy this one as much.
>YOU!< He exclaimed, before getting hit by a fury cutter that slashed him hard and did major damage to his body. It unfortunately was a super effective move to the pokemon, but luckily for him, the Scizor also grazed his rough skin so a bit of damage was hopefully returned to the steel type.
That was the best the Sharpedo could do at the moment though. His paralysis sunk in again and he quickly fell to his side, unable to move. But he wasn't out yet, he was simply calculating, thinking of what he'd do next.

[/div] Nick snickered as he saw the connected blade. It seemed his remorse and juvenile idea of battling was transforming more into one of strategic brutality. He wasn't the same kid anymore, perhaps it was time to stop fighting his drift to the dark side and just accept it. Although in the mountains, he learned to respect and treat his Pokemon as teammates not tools. He values them. If you are not with me, then you are against me. Harnessing your own power and respecting relationships that is the key to true power. Yes, yes it is.Nick commanded Cero to proceed, simply rolling his index finger along signaling to repeat the same process. The eyes of the Scizor began to glow as he once again pumped and used Focus Energy. The bug was physically enhanced now, the red energy from his blade not only extending but cloaked in more power. Over the Sharpedo he would aim from the exact spot, utilizing his Scope Lens to produce the greatest chance of finishing the washed up beast. In addition to his tactics, his Fury Cutter was growing in power with each slash. Eventually this shark will see defeat - perhaps he should of took it easy on Dew. ::scizor:: Cero | M | 26 | Crit. The Sharpedo realized his disadvantages in this battle, and with the much more accurate Fury Cutter headed his way, he really wished he was capable of dodging it this time around. He winced as he took the blow, finding to his surprise that it doubled in power. It might've been a weak move altogether, but it was still super effective against his typing. He wouldn't be able to take much more of those at all. After being shoved backwards by the blow, he flopped back into the water with a mighty shove of his tail.
He was half in the sand half in the water, but he sighed deeply, feeling the energy of the waves brush up against him. It was a more enriching environment, and it gave him some comfort compared to being on that nasty, hot sand. He could tell that the Scizor was unnaturally bulky just by looking at it, and he wasn't entirely sure which attack would be the best to start with.
Swagger was too risky, so instead he was going to hope for the best. He let out a loud Screech at the big to try and sharply lower those defenses, then with ice growing on his fangs he charged after the bug with determination. The move had a chance of flinch or freeze, and although both had a low chance of that happening, he was relying on it.
