The young woman of sixteen wheeled herself away from the place she called home. Her mind a buzz not with excitement, but fear. She didn't want this, no she wanted to be at home, hiding away in her room, curled on her bed with book in hand. This wasn't her idea of fun. The world around her scared her even though her twin brother who had been on his journey now for years had came a long with her so that she wouldn't get lost finding her way to the starting point. However as they needed the Ranger Station, he left her. "Where are you going?!" She called to him only to get a hand wave and a bye in return.
Even in the hot summer fear made her shiver. She wrapped herself up in her brown blankets for a moment as she rocked back and forth in her wheelchair. Shaking, she didn't want to be a lone. She didn't want to be there. What am I going to do? Should I go to the Ranger Station. Am I Allowed? She questioned herself. She was not even three feet in front of the tent's opening, just a little to the left to. "You can do this, you can do this." She told herself. "You can't do this, you can't do this." She then said with tear running down her face. "Why are they making me do this?" She then said quietly in a sob. She was talking about her parents. Why where they making her, their daughter who is terrified of Pokémon be a trainer. It wasn't fair. Oh she felt like she could throw up from the fear alone.

RANGER GEORGIE AND SKIPPY.
"take that! i beat you! hah!" the loud yelling emanated from the tent, where it seemed a long-haired trainer had just beat her pokemon at a game of checkers. bouncing out of the tent, ranger georgie adjusted her hat when suddenly she spied something that looked like a girl in a chair. bounding over happily, skippy the mute bush kangaroo followed her inquisitively, wondering what the chair was. georgie adopted her usual overly friendly stance, totally oblivious to the fact the woman was crying. "g'day mate! if you're looking for a handy-dandy partner for your travelling needs, you've come to the right place!" skippy clicked his tongue at her ranger companion, who grinned at the large kangaskhan and then turned back to the woman in question. "my 'roo mate here just wanted to congratulate you on your forward thinking, bringing a chair to sit on! we were in a pretty intense game of checkers - like we were playin' for sheep stations," she said with a nonchalant shrug, as if that explained everything. with another few tongue clicks, skippy nodded and wondered whether he could fit the girl in his pouch. it would sure beat carrying that chair around, right?

She could hear yelling coming from inside, which made her tuck herself under her blanket and rock even more. At the sight of a ranger coming out, with her Pokémon she found herself almost blacking out. Her eyes rolled backwards and her head slumped back. It could be from the fear, but it could also be from the heat and the fact she had herself wrapped up tightly in her blankets. What the reason was, was probably a mixture of all too. Oh what a sight she must have looked like. Then it happened, she did black out. Slumping forward as the roo Pokémon came quiet close to her. Her blanket did pull up from the sides of her chair though showing all that it was a wheelchair. She was out for probably a minute, if not a little bit longer. Blinking her eyes, she shook her head. Looking at the range she had sort of been listening to what she had been saying before her world blacked out on her. "I...I...can't walk." She said. She was timid and nervous as she spoke. "My chair, it, it, it, isn't s...something I could go without." She then said in a low voice. She was starting to shake again as she spoke. "Umm...but... ye-s-s I am here for a pok--poke -- om - pokemon." She said finally. She was nervous, clearly so she was having the hardest time getting the words out.

Traveling in a wheel chair was going to be pretty hard, wasn’t it? “ I’ll tell you what! I’ll have Skippy here go out and look for the perfect pokemon for you!” she said as she snapped her fingers as if she had the greatest idea ever. She then nodded over at Skippy who walked away out into the field in search of a pokemon for the new trainer. “ This will be your first pokemon right?” the young ranger asked before she turned around and dug into a box, pulling out a trainer’s kit to give to the young girl. “ Here! This should help you out on your journey! There’s all sorts of neat stuff in it. I’m sure skippy will be back with your pokeon soon,” she nodded lightly as she held the kit out for the girl to take. Listening to what was being said Hannah nodded her head. At least with the pokemon off she wouldn't be as scared, but then again sooner or later she would have to suck up her fear and met her own pokemon. Taking a deep breath she slowly pulled the blanket off from around her. She was sweating, and being wrapped up in a blanket was only going to make it hotter for her. Seeing the pokemon leave she let out her deep breath, slowly. Trying to calm her nervous she still had another problem to do with. The ranger. Sure she wasn't a problem in general, but Hannah was still very nervous around her.
Being handed some stuff to help her with her up coming journey, Hannah tried to give a polite smile. It was weak and a fail, but it was as close to a honest smile as she could get with how she was feeling right now. "T--Than--thank you." She then said timidly. She was still shaking, but she really just wanted to get this over with and get out of here now. "Yes --- this is my f--first." She then said to reply to the ranger's earlier question.

"There's something special about the first isn't there mate?" Ranger Georgie reminisced, a pleased and dreamy look in her bright excited eyes. "Skippy was my first and she's the best roo an Aussie could ever ask for. She'll get you something nice don't you worry." She assured the nervous look and nervous sounding trainer. A few moments later there was the tell-tale thump thump of something big hopping towards them. Skippy was hopping back towards them and with a thunderous crash she burst through the green foliage and landed at Georgie's side. The ranger smiled. "What'cha got Skippy?" She asked and she reached into her pouch. She pulled out a bright red monkey. The Pansear was giggling loudy. <Let's go again! That was a wicked awesome ride!> Skippy dropped the Pansear on the ground and the little fire type looked over and looked up at Hannah.

There was a silence coming from here fore a while. As the Ranger go aww eyed ands poke Hannah just stared off into space. However, she was sort of listening, so she humored the Ranger and nodded her head. Yes. However, she was just scared out of her mind and wanted to get this over with now. Then it happened, thump, thump thump. The roo like pokemon, Skippy was returning. A chill ran down her spine as the beast came back. Seeing and hearing the giggling monkey pokemon she swallowed hard as she looked at the female Pansear. "H--h--hi. I - I am Hannah." She told the Pansear. Looking away from the pokemon she looked at the Ranger. "No--now what?" She asked. Does it have a pokeball? She thought to herself. She kept it to herself though she didn't want to insulted the pokemon and make it rage on her or something.

It’s all yours now, and you’re free to move onto route one!” Georgie smiled as she held the pokeball out containing the pansear. She sure hoped that the trainer would be happy about what Skippy had brought back for her. “ Good luck to you! And hopefully you’ll make it far! and with a light wave, Georgie and skippy disappeared back into the ranger tent. [/style][/style] [style=padding: 10px;]YOU ARE FREE TO MOVE ONTO ROUTE ONE! "Thank you" She said as she saw the ranger take out a pokeball and put the fire monkey inside. Taking the pokeball her hands where shaking, but she sucked up her fear enough to take it. She wanted to scream, but she didn't. She wanted to black out again, but she held herself together. No, no more blacking out. Not today, not right now anyways. Putting the pokeball in her bag on her chair she smiled at the ranger as she spoke. "Bye." She said softly seeing them leave. Turning her chair around she then wheeled herself towards Route one.
