SEVENTEEN ❤ FEMALE ❤ HUMAN ❤ COORDINATOR
appearance «
If anything, Creo is one of those people you get a glance at, and think "Woahh, mysterious.." She's not overly pretty to the point of being appealing, yet at the same time, her pointed, luring grey eyes, and swift, silky black hair lead you to ponder this girl. What is with those eyes? Why does she stare like that? What is with the way she walks? It's hard not to think these things about her when you see her. In fact, some say the more you look at her, the more you wonder.. Just WHO is this girl?
Her features are very subtle, and her eyes always wear a gentle expression that glaze over when she's thinking. Her hair is rather short, close to shoulder length, but has a stunning contrast against her pale, silky skin. She often wears simple clothing, and loves to wear darker dresses. When she dresses casual, she tends to prefer long sleeves that cuff innocently over her tender fingers, leaving them unseen. She is also often times found wearing headphones, or carrying electronics of some sort - mostly just her phone and other devices that play music she likes.
She's about average height, maybe just above it at 5'11, yet her features give her a more.. limber look, as though she were taller. Her legs are long and thin, as are here fingers, which are often found sweeping the hair out of her face, a nervous habit of hers. When she gets frustrated, she can even be found pushing back her hair with an exasperated groan.
Creo never wears make up, not because it would be pointless against her pale, translucently colored skin, but because she's never felt pretty. This shows sometimes in the way she walks, or does things. She doesn't carry herself like someone who thinks they're appealing in the slightest, no- her gait is odd, slowly paced and makes it look as though she's drifting.. With no particular destination unless she's inspired. And even then she still looks like a ghost amongst the landscape. Her face is never focused on any one thing, and she's usually spacing off, even as she walks, yet manages to never hit anything. Some find it more mysterious than anything, but others just find it to be creepy.
Creo never has been very bold, or very noticeable amongst a crowd for that matter.. But when left alone with this girl, it's almost impossible to look away.
history «
Creo never really had a place to call her home. Her parents were always focused on work, and moved to wherever the best paycheck was. Their jobs often held them away from their daughter for longer than she could possibly stand, and although Creo's relationship with her parents was iffy, she knew that they were all she had, and she treasured them more than anything.
Her inability to find friends often left her lonely, and stranded, and before she knew it, Creo had become isolated. She always was a bit of a dreamy head, and to others, this kept her from them. But in reality, it wasn't her state of mind that held her back, it was her confidence in herself. She never thought she would be any good to anyone else, always blaming herself for others problems.. and eventually, this led to her becoming completely blocked off from the outer world, with only her parents keeping her from falling into insanity.
Then, one day.. That small piece of sanity she had, was lost to a house fire.
Her parents weren't home at the time, but it was closing in to their time of return, and Creo, with an extra boost of confidence in herself that day, decided she would try cooking dinner for them. One thing led to another, and before she knew it, the brilliant stew she had wanted to prepare ended up burning the drapes she had forgotten to roll up. And then the house caught on fire. Creo had tried to escape the blazing hellfire, but all her exits had been blocked off, and with no where to run, she collapsed, slowly losing consciousness.
It was then that her parents returned home. It was then that she lost everything.
She woke up a few hours later to sirens and firefighters bundling her up in blankets and feeding her oxygen. When she turned to look, Creo realized that her parents car was parked in the driveway, with not a Mom or Dad in sight. Later she learned that her parents, who loved their daughter more than she could have ever imagined, had risked their lives to save hers amongst the burning wreckage.
After that day, life was never the same.
Creo had always thought that she had never really had a home. After all, her parents were working people, and they as a family had never stayed in a single house for more than a year or two. But what she didn't realize is how deep the meaning of Home really was, and how lost she truly felt after losing the last bit of Home she would ever get.
For years afterwards, she wandered the streets. Living a life of solitude and fake smiles, as she worked odd jobs in various cities to keep from keeling over in hunger. She didn't know why she didn't just let it all end back there on that day, but for some reason, reality seemed to have lost its hold on her.
Her work was bitter, and her days were long, but the food she gained from it was worth it in the end.
She started thinking to herself more, too. Well, less thinking, and more searching. For what? She didn't know. But this endless life of skimming through cities, and prying money from what work she could muster just didn't seem to cut it for Creo. She felt so empty. She missed the old times, and she wanted them back. She didn't know if there was a way to get her smile back, but something told her that there was hope, so she kept searching. And one day, it almost seemed like she had found what she was looking for.
Creo knew what Pokemon were. Everyone did! But her parents were a bit overprotective when they were alive, and never really let her play with the neighbor's pokemon, and always refused every time she asked for one of her own.
What Creo didn't know was how amazing Pokemon really were. After a few years of watching them from a distance, Creo started to get closer to Pokemon. At first, she'd feed them, give them a few cheerful words, and regain her distance again. But after a while, she seemed to warm up to the cute little creatures. [well, at least the ones she lived near were cute, but they were all unique, in their own way.. anyway]. She started to play with them. And then, eventually, she'd befriend them, taking time out of her working day to retrace her steps to the forest, and meet with her cute little friends.
And for once in her life, Creo felt like she could smile again. For once in her life, Creo didn't feel so.. isolated. Maybe that's what triggered it. Not just her recovery, but also, her newfound interest in the beauty of Pokemon. More than anything, Pokemon seemed excited to have people enjoy their company, and to have them show off their amazing new abilities in the foundations of battle. Yet it wasn't the battle itself that Creo was interested in, it was the technique behind the battle. The way each Pokemon seemed to get creative with their moves, instead of just blatantly attacking. It was different than watching trainer's battle on TV.. In the wild, Pokemon didn't have anyone to teach them how to use their moves, and so they all had their own style of battle. It was beautiful to watch, and for Creo, the creativity involved was something she knew she could become very interested in.
It was a spark of hope, lighting the way into Creo's future.
As she befriended Pokemon, she also learned that there was such a thing as "Pokemon Coordinators", a term she hadn't realized existed until she watched her first Coordinator Performance. It was more than just battling, it was art. And to her, it showed true companionship between Pokemon and Coordinator. More than any other profession.
So with her mind set, and with hope flaring in her heart, she took the path she's on now. The path of a Coordinator.
interactions «
As said before, Creo never really had any intimate contact with Pokemon until after her parents died, but when she finally did have a chance to meet the little creatures face to face, she fell in love. These creatures practically lit up her world, and her smile, as she made a promise in her heart to help herself for once, and choose the best path for her to take.
Creo befriended many types of Pokemon, discovering new species each day as she visited the Pokemon scuttling outside the city in which she worked. Creo never really picked favorites, but if she had a say, she'd definitely admit that some of them were a bit cuter, or more beautiful, than some of the tougher Pokemon. But maybe that was just her being picky, because when she watched each of them battle, her artistic eye instantly sparked as she taught them new ways to integrate their moves. Everywhere she went, she left Pokemon with greater skills and techniques than when she arrived. Though her journey hadn't started yet, it was good practice for when she was ready.
personality «
I. Dreamy, Detached
Creo often has a spacey look in her eyes, and although this doesn't keep her from being well-coordinated, it still makes social contact a bit awkward at first, until you actually have a good conversation with her that is.
II. Serious & Creative
When it comes down to business, Creo could never be MORE focused. And her mind will seriously start whirling with ideas and possible solutions to the problem at hand. Her expression and attitude change completely, often surprising those who haven't seen the change before.
III. Lacking Self-confidence
Although she's good on stage [probably due to adrenaline], her confidence with herself could never be more lacking when she sits and thinks about it. She's always thinking of herself as a burden to others, and can't stand to think of hurting other people. She sometimes isolates herself because of it.
