The girl usually didn’t mind this sort of thing. Hugs, hand pulling, standing in abnormally close proximity- it was all fine with her, at least with someone as good-natured as Kyle seemed to be. Heck, she’s probably guilty of doing those things herself! Growing up in a town where every resident treated another like family didn’t leave much room for understanding that most people needed their personal space. Suddenly the other trainer stopped, leaving Aurora to skid to a halt. And then, before she could even reply, they were off again! Didn’t this kid ever have to catch his breath?
Despite all that, Aurora giggled softly as she continued to run alongside him. Trainer battles? Her expression perked up at the very thought, not yet having had a battle with another real live trainer before. How exhilarating that sounded! She didn’t expect any right now, of course, but it was an exciting thing to look forward to. “You sure know a lot about this place, huh?” A glance around the area showed so many different shops and streets that all looked the same to her; how this boy knew his way around so easily was beyond her direction-impaired head. “To be honest, I’d probably be lost somewhere in the alleyways right now if I hadn’t run into you. By the end of this you’ll have to show me how to get back to Route 1!” In the meantime, Rin had more or less reached a steady pace some distance behind Snover, his tiny legs running as fast as the weight in his equally tiny arms would allow him. Don’t worry, Rin, just consider it strength training. Egg Post [11/15]

Kyle was only paying half attention but as he heard her praise he turned as smiled at her before saying "Of course! We're friends now right? That's what friends do!" with a slight laugh they had finally reached their first destination. "Here it is! The trainer's lounge." at this point Snover caught up to the group along with Rin and Kyle said "Let's go inside!" As he brought Aurora inside he was greeted by some familiar faces before he took her over to a viewing window that could watch a battle going on inside. It was between two boys who must've been younger than Aurora and Kyle who were fighting with a Heracross and Roserade on one side and a Pinsir and Tauros on the other side. They were going through an intense battle and Kyle was watching Aurora to see her reaction to all of this with eager eyes. Hatching Post (11/15)

Aurora was never really one to have a hard time making friends, what with her bold and outgoing personality- but the fact that she’d made her first friend here brought a feeling of joy that rivaled that of becoming a Pokemon trainer. She loved meeting new friends just about as much as she did meeting new Pokemon! And with such a great person, too. Of course the very second they’d come to their destination, all of her focus went straight towards the heat of battle between the two young trainers. Everything else was drowned out, be it Kyle’s voice, cheers from the surrounding crowd or otherwise as both her hands and eyes were glued to the window. Even Rin, who had been out of breath by the time he caught up with them, forgot all about his exhausted muscles and watched the battle with wide eyes.
Not only was it the first battle she’d seen up close and personal that didn’t involve a couple of hatchlings sparring over the last pokeblock, but each trainer had two Pokemon. Two! How could they possibly keep up with all that? She’d heard of double battles before, but never really thought they were an efficient way of battling. “Wow, so this is what real trainers get to experience all the time..?” While she spoke the phrase out loud it was more to herself, mind still lost in the action. She could practically feel the adrenaline through the glass, excitement rushing through her veins despite only being able to witness the fight through a window. Her Riolu stood by her side, momentarily distracted from the egg that lay unattended behind him. Watching those Pokemon fight…Sure it might seem too tough for some Pokemon, but he was certain he wanted to do it! Get stronger and win his way to Championship with his trainer. Neither of them could wait! Egg Post [12/15]

Kyle didn't say anything as he saw Aurora so focused on the battle. It resembled him the exact way that he had watched his first battle between someone else. So nostalgic. However this wasn't the only reason that Kyle had came here. He had known these two kids for a while and had battled against them but had also promised he'd do a quick Double Battle with the victor which turned out to be the boy with the Heracross and Roserade. Seeing as the other boy left in defeat and the boy left grinned at the duo Kyle placed his hand on Aurora's shoulder and stood up "Well. It's my turn! Watch my skills Aurora!" he said as he stood up and entered the battlefield. Snover hoped up on the bench in Kyle's place while cradling the egg still as he was happy to have some time to relax. Kyle then called out his Tranquill and Pansear and began to battle. It seemed like this fight would be a relatively short one. Hatching Post (12/15)

Just look at that Heracross’s raw power! It was enough to send a small shiver down Rin’s spine. And that Roserade was so graceful, dodging move after move with dance-like maneuvers. The Tauros and Pinsir put up a good fight too, but it seemed like a sure victory for the other team. Ah, what a rush! Despite the battle being over, the energy still overrided most of her senses as she bounced up and down in place. “Ahha, that was sure something! Thanks for showing us that, Kyle, now we’re even more motivated to…-“
Oh wait, what was happening? She hadn’t exactly heard those last words of his or even registered the touch on her shoulder or his absence until she saw him enter the battlefield. It took a double take for her to finally realize that she was on the verge of seeing her new friend in action. And he even had that gym badge, too! She could only smile as the excitement returned in a heartbeat, falling back into a sitting position by his Snover after cradling the egg safely in her bag and pulling Rin into her lap. “Woo-hoo, you go get ‘em, Kyle!” No doubt she’d cheer him on, heightening her voice beyond the crowds’ to make sure he could hear her. Likewise, Rin stared at the Tranquill and Pansear with a sense of awe and respect. <You can do it, guys! Give them the old one-two!> the Riolu gave a few punches in his place, the fighting spirit riveting through his body as he joined in the cheers as well. Egg Post [13/15]

Kyle wasn't about to dissapoint the people assembled to watch a good fight. So as the battle started he let the opposite team get the first attack. Which involved the Heracross using Brick Break on Tranquill and Roserade using Shadow Ball on his Pansear. Both Pokemon were hit by both attacks before they quickly recovered and Kyle had his Tranquill use Air Cutter on both while his Pansear used Sunny Day and then Incinerate on both of them which fainted them in the same turn. The boy then walked over and reluctantly shook Kyle's hand before he left and Kyle went back over to Aurora. "Well that was a nice workout! I think it's time to go to the park! My Egg looks like it's ready to hatch." At this point the egg in Snover's possesion began to shake a bit before going back to it's rigid position. Snover blew some cold air on it to make it more comfortable before standing up. Kyle outstretched his hand as to take Aurora's and led her to the park. "You ready to go?" Hatching Post (13/15)

And disappoint, he did not. It was clear to, well, pretty much everyone that the one gleaning the most thrill from this show was Aurora and Rin with their constant cheers and fist pumps. She was almost sad when it was all over so fast, but the feeling of sheer impression from her friend’s victory quickly overwhelmed the thought. He was sure a tough trainer- one she eagerly hoped to battle some time!
“You’re even better in action that I would have thought!” was her greeting upon his return, grinning ear to ear in her seat while hugging Rin tightly. “Boy, I’d love to get a chance to battle you too once me and Rin catch up. Right, pal?” An eager howl was all the agreement he needed to say, Aurora giving a laugh in response. “The park sounds great! Maybe mine’s just about ready to hatch, too.” She glanced down at it for a moment, feeling the slightest movement from within. “And then we’re still up for ice cream afterwards, right?” She took his hand to stand up, stepping over the bleaches and walking with him towards the exit. “I’d think you could use some to cool down after that battle, but it didn’t look like you even broke a sweat!” Rin walked cheerfully by her side, glad he didn’t have to deal with that extra weight of the egg anymore as his trainer now carried it in her arms. Kyle held onto her hand and began to led her out of the Trainer's Lounge and in the direction of the park. The only difference between getting from the Cafe to the Trainer's Lounge and this adventure was that Kyle was simply walking there at this point. He would've taken the egg from his Snover but the little guy wanted to hold onto him. "I have so many Pokémon I need to train!" he said as they walked. "I'm sure you'll catch up quickly. Then we'll totally battle. Not saying you'll win though!" he said with a teasing manner. It was at this point that they entered the park. It was getting later in the day so the only people really around were friends and couples who had come to watch the sunset. Kyle led Aurora over to an unoccupied bench and sat down before ushering her to sit and then taking the egg from Snover. Hatching Post (14/15)

And off they were again, to explore another area of this bustling city that Aurora had yet to see. Her and Rin both were grateful for the slower pace: she wanted to look around and smell the roses so to speak, absorb everything it had to over. Most of the activity seemed to have died down from earlier, a good sign considering how many people she’d bumped into on her initial journey here. She loved the crowds- she just wasn’t that used to them yet.
Soon enough they reached the park, Aurora flashing Kyle the slightest hint of a smirk at his word. “Oh yeah? Well me and Rin’ll make sure you have a run for your money when we finally get to it.” Her tone was equally playful, excited and not arrogant in any way. Once she fell back onto the bench she gave a loud sigh, stretching her arms high above her head as Rin jumped up next to her. “But boy, what a day! And to top it off with such a beautiful sunset, too.” She gazed out at the glowing horizon, dipped in warm oranges and light purples. For just a moment her mind flickered back to her hometown, just a touch of homesickness that was quickly overwhelmed by a feeling of pride of what she’d done so far despite having just started her journey. "Yeah!" Kyle said as he smiled at Aurora. It was nice to meet someone so simple who wasn't as complicated as some of the others he'd met in Cheyenne. "We should get that Ice Cream soon.." he said to himself as he looked over at Snover who was holding the Egg. The Egg then began to shake as it was starting to hatch. Kyle then turned from Aurora and stared intently at it "It's time! Let's see who this new Pokemon is!" Cubchoo Egg Hatching Post (15/15)

The space time continuum hit a bit of a rift when the two trainers were hatching their eggs simultaneously. It didn't know how to make this work, which egg to hatch first and what to do about it. The Corphish egg was the first as it shook violently, but the Cubchoo one wasn't so far behind. The two were out of control, causing all sorts of problems as they were incubated for a bit too long. Eventually, a tiny hole was created and from it three dragons peered out to see what was ahead of them. One of them, the Dialga opened its mouth about to use an attack. The other, Palkia was about to strike with her claws. And the last, Giratina, the most rational of the group shut the portal before any damage was done. When this occurred, the two eggs had already cracked, missing the intense moment when they would hatch. And two pokemon were formed in their place. ::Corphish:: Level 5 | Male Attacks: Bubble - Dragon Dance* - Ancientpower (If it is first or third egg. If not don't add this move). Personality: Reckless - Believes himself to be a decedent of a goddess - Weird
::Cubchoo:: Level 5 | Female Attacks: Power Snow - Growl - Avalanche* - Assurance (Add only if it is 1st or 3rd egg hatched) Personality: Thinks she is a goddess - Haughty - Loves herself

The girl had opened her mouth to reply to Kyle’s comment, but even the delicious temptation of ice cream was put on hold once the two eggs began to shake. Heck, so focused was she on the violent vibrations that she didn’t even notice whatever event was going on in the background between a couple of raging dragons. Her mouth just sorta hung there for a moment, corners tilted upwards in a wide grin as she watched the hatchling Pokemon pop out of their eggs. To her, egg-hatching was one of those things that, no matter how many times she did it, it never failed to bring a thrill of joy and surprise.
And a surprise it was! Despite how many eggs she’d dealt with all her life she still wasn’t familiar with every single one out there, so she gets the occasional ‘mystery egg’ such as this one. Who woulda guessed a Corphish was inside! The newly hatched creature blinked, taking in all its surroundings as any curious youngster would. Aurora could just barely contain her giggling, “Ah, just look at these two cuties!” With a quick scan, the two Pokemon’s information was added into her Pokedex. “Hey hey, you were right about it being an Ice type after all. Good instinct!” she couldn’t help but muse. Rin seemed equally ecstatic, crawling out of his trainer’s lap and closer towards the two Pokemon.
Eventually, the Corphish’s curiosity seemed to fade, and suddenly it launched a Bubble attack at the approaching Riolu and in all directions! Being so inexperienced, however, its attempted display of dominion and superiority over these strangers ended up looking like a playful show of harmless bubbles. The orbs reflected the light of the sunset, resulting in quite the magnificent sight. The girl let out another small laugh as Rin began popping some of the bubbles.

Kyle had seen this all before. He was excited just as much as the first time so he stared intently at the egg as he set it on the ground. His Snover however was even more excited as he had never seen a Egg hatch before so he stood on the ground next to it as the light from the egg began to take form. It took form as a Cubchoo with blinked it's eyes. "Wow! Another Ice Type!" he said as he kneeled down on the ground. Snover was nearly jumping up and down at having another Ice Type on the team.
"Hey little one! My name's Kyle! I'll be your trainer from now on..but consider me more of a friend!" he said with an ear to ear grin as Snover moved forward to shake the female Cubchoo's hand. Immediately the Cubchoo narrowed her eyes and hoped over Kyle and Snover to stand on the bench and raised her chin before saying something like <What makes you two think you can talk to me like that? If anything you should be serving me!> he said as she crossed her arms and tried to look annoyed but was definitely curious about this new world she had entered.

It was pretty clear that Kyle must have been keen to ice types, judging by his overjoyed reaction at the Cubchoo’s presence. Aurora smiled warmly as she watched Kyle greet the hatchling, happy to have met someone who gets as excited as she does when it comes to egg hatching and Pokemon raising as she did. It truly was refreshing. She was about to say something similar to her own hatchling before suddenly the Cubchoo was on the bench beside them. “What a feisty little one you’ve got there,” she mused playfully, noting the Pokemon’s domineering behavior but not quite understanding its full message.
It wasn’t long before the Corphish jumped into the fray. The water-type turned to the Cubchoo, a clear glint of aggression in its eye. <Serving you? More like serving me! That includes you too, princess, so pipe down.> He flexed his pincers right in her face, clearly not regarding any personal space issues.

Kyle looked at this odd display of superiority between Pokemon and couldn't help but laugh. His Cubchoo was feisty and he thought it would be interesting to see how she would interact with the other Pokemon on his team. Snover climbed up onto to the beach and stepped in between the two babies before a fight started. "Okay! Cubchoo for now I think we should return you!" Kyle said as he took out her Pokeball and aimed it at her before the red light shot out. Cubchoo however moved out of the way as she leapt off the bench and said <I'm not going in one of those things!> as she raised her nose into the air signifying a strong resistance to any sort of confinement.

Now wasn’t this just the darndest sight. They’ve barely just hatched and now they’re already busy whipping up a ruckus! And the trouble was just only beginning to brew. Thinking along the same lines as Kyle, Aurora reached over to pick up her hatchling before someone got hurt. “Alright now, you two, play nice,” she spoke with a smile, but before she could even get her hands near the water-type he snapped up at her with his large pincers. <Hey hey, no way!> Pointing a claw up intimidatingly at his trainer, <No one dare tames me, the very descendant of a goddess!> At this moment he got all worked up, so much so that pebbles and small rocks started lifting off the ground in all directions in a weak Ancientpower attack. Aurora frowned, though she could easily ignore the small objects bouncing off her skin. Arms on her hips, she shot a concerned expression ar Kyle. “Now what on Earth are we going to do with them? Already at the rebellious stage!” They grow up so fast.

Kyle watched Aurora's new Corphish carefully before turning to his own Cubchoo who seemed to not want anything to do with Kyle or his Snover who was an Ice Type just like herself. He was pretty amused by this display and began to laugh as Aurora seemed to be a bit more concerned then he was. "Well you saw how they acted with each other! All we need to do is have them battle. My Snover got accustomed to battling by watching when it first hatched." he said as a light bulb went off in his head. "We should have a double battle! My Snover and Cubchoo vs your Corphish and i'm guessing Rin" he said with a hopeful smile hoping she would respond positively to his suggestion.
