s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Keitan grinned at Tristan and Sierra realized that Tristan had the ability, same as her, to understand pokemon. It was almost trippy, in a way. Sierra laughed at Tristan's flustered reply, not offering one of her own until he remarked about being a slave driver. "Yeah. It suits you better." She opined with a silly little grin.
Sierra grinned at him at his joke - well, if it was a joke. To her it kind of wasn't, since she had the very clear possibility of becoming hyper. She was a loose cannon, really, susceptible to outbursts of energy at any moment. "Careful? More like, 'drink all the coffee you want, Sierra.' That's more agreeable." She replied with a giggle.
Then she watched as he placed his egg into an incubator, causing the shell to crack mere minutes afterwards. They walked towards the center, Sierra with her drink in one hand and her eyes locked on the hatching egg. "I think your egg's hatching." She pronounced. Captain obvious, sure, but it was all in good intent. "You're about to become a father." She continued with a diminishing poker face, eventually releasing a giggle. She was never able to contain her mirth, ever. But at least her laugh was somewhat contagious.

"Heh. Ya right. Totally not me..." He continued to follow Sierra to the pokemon center, ready to put the future hatched into his pc. Assuming that his egg hatches soon.
"You kidding me? If I let you drink a lot of coffee, you'll be disappearing from the visible light spectrum if I let you keep drinking." Tristan smiled, feeling like he could trust Sierra. Somewhat, at least. Maybe it was just the sun, the day in general, and her treating him to lunch that was affecting his decision. But at least he was pretty happy and having a good time.
Just as he entered into thought, he felt his egg hatch. Quickly, he took it out of the incubator, feeling it hatch. "Oh wow...this is going to be good.....wait...father?" He said, looking at Sierra for clarification on that word. Because of that, he missed the hatching of the pokemon, as the little vullaby cried out. "Man...I missed the moment.....but hey, that little vullaby is cute. Aren't you?" He said, looking down on the little birdy. The little birdy just flapped its little stubs of wings as she climbed on Tristan's shoulder. She looked at her new trainer, before pecking him and resting in his hood. Smart bird....at least. "Ow....that hurt...." He turned to Sierra, the weight of the bird hanging from his hood. "So can you help me keep an eye on this bird? I can't seem to face it....and shall we go take care of what you need to?" |

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra giggled through her teeth before gesturing dismissively with her hand to signal that she gave up in that discourse. Then they continued walking to the Pokemon Center, which looked so close and yet so far away since Sierra had to keep pace with Tristan and not just sprint there like she usually loved to do.
She laughed at Tristan's comment about disappearing from the visible spectrum. "I've never heard that one before!" She laughed, clapping her hands once in gratitude for that bit of humor. And it was one of those smart people jokes too, except she could actually understand this one because she studied the visible light spectrum in her last year of high school before vacationing to become a trainer. As if she actually wanted to prove him right, she took a huge sip of coffee afterwards.
Sierra remained staring at the egg even as Tristan replied to her comment, so she didn't miss the moment. "Yeah, a father. The baby daddy, remember?" She giggled, and then felt bad for making him miss the moment - although it was sort of his fault since he looked away. "Yeah, he.. or she is." She forgot that all Vullaby were female anyway, so checking the baby's gender was not needed. She watched with intense curiosity as the infant bird sat in Tristan's hood.
"Yeah, I can- oh, we're actually already right in front of it." Sierra remarked, realizing that they'd reached the Pokemon Center without even knowing it. She stood in front of the double doors, trying to remember again what she needed to do here. Ah, yeah. Unfinished business. Turning to look at Tristan, she said in a solemn voice, "Actually, I only wanted you to walk with me here. I mean, it'll be boring for you if you stay, and yeah." She spoke in a way that would be hard to debunk.
"Oh, but we can exchange phone numbers if you want. So we can keep in touch! We're friends, aren't we?" Sierra remarked, already pulling her phone out with her fingers in their correct places to start typing on the phone's screen.

OOC: Sure, why not. Novelist is redoable, so that's cool. Plus, reaching 4 pages is awesome already. Was disappearing away like that even possible? With Sierra, just maybe. "Hey, I'm not liable if you really do disappear." Tristan thought to himself about how Sierra would disappear due to the stored amount of caffeine. He chuckled a little at the thought.
It felt a little strange now that he was a father of a cute little Vullaby. How was he supposed to that? More importantly, how was he supposed to get this little bird out of his hood. "Come on, little vullaby. Out you go so you can be with be with the professor~> He said, trying to sweet talk the bird out of his nest of a hood. Sadly, the vullaby had settled in and was pretty comfortable inside of his hood. All he can do for now, at least until they reached the Pokémon center, was to pat her and let it go. He scratched the back of his head, hoping that the vullaby would fall asleep and he can transfer the Pokémon to the professor.
When they arrived, he waited for Sierra to respond, or speak up, about something. It seemed as though it was the end of the day with her. "Well....ya, I suppose that's true. Okay, sure, we can hang out another time then." He said as he grabbed his phone in one hand, ready to give and exchange numbers. "Ya, we are friends." He smiled at her, his demeanor still as calm as usual. Admittingly, it was pretty fun and pretty cool to meet Sierra. Even if it was a bit of an annoyance at first. |

s i e r r a c a t a l y n n Sierra giggled at him. "Nah. I admit to it." She responded somewhat wisely, swirling her coffee cup around. She was actually shaking a little now thanks to the coffee she'd inhaled in the course of that meal.
She listened, making funny faces at the new baby bird, as Tristan tried to serenade her out of his hood - to no avail. Sierra found it sort of endearing, though, that the creature loved his hood so much. Maybe it'd be their thing.
They arrived at the building, Sierra explained herself, and now her phone was out before Tristan could even replying. Now he was, and Sierra listened intently, yet distractedly. "Yeah." She agreed to his proposition, smiling with her eyes when she saw that he brought out his own phone. "Okay. My number is..." And she recited it. "Just text me and I'll record yours." She nodded at him before walking through the doors, waving as she went. Then she poked her head out again at the last moment. "It was fun today!" She assured him before entering for good, out of sight.
