"..." Danny stayed silent with a carnation placed in front of him in his...paws? "...I can't believe I got into this." He said. Yes, yes he did get into this. He was wearing a panda suit. Indeed he was. Although, he didn't want to even touch the suit Amber forced him in it (with the help of Fang and his four attacks). The panda suit was stupidly light, at least he wasn't sweating. But why wear this? He let the hood hang over his eyes to cover his embarrassment. Or at least try to. He felt like a sign was hovering over his head that said 'Idiot here, come pity him' he let out a heavy sigh and shoved the flower to the side. He hoped that some cute girl would show up soon, that would make this all worth it.

With Verona City being such a big place, with lots to see and do; with the temperature outside being particularly chilly today, he just wanted to find this place as soon as he could. "...haaah...haaah.... I hope this place isn't too much further...," he panted, trying to hold Broski, his Buizel, as close as he could to make an effort to keep the both of them warm. The Buizel, clenched close to his trainer's body, felt more than a little bit like he was in an embarrassing position, one of Fianna's hands holding onto the back of his thighs as Fianna carried him. He could literally feel his thumb brush up against his tails, as Fianna kept slowly moving down the sidewalk.
The sound of the town clock gonged throughout Verona, though it only gave off a half-chime. It must have been the half hour of some late-morning hour. But, Fianna didn't care if it was or wasn't. So much walking, and no one to tell him if he was close or not. He even got a couple of weird looks from boys who were walking along the opposite sidewalk. Perhaps, they were surveying the kind of beauty that he possessed in his feminine facade. "Let go, Sisbro! Stop brushing up against me 'there' already," said the Buizel, wiggling free from Fianna's hold and landing on the cold, concrete sidewalk on his two feet. Fianna wasn't sure exactly what he had meant, but it still greatly worried him that Broski would react in such a way. "S-S-Sorry!! I didn't mean to touch you somewhere bad...," he apologized, causing the Buizel to have to resort to being more forgiving than he would be if it was anybody else trying to grab him there. "Don't worry about it, Sisbro. Let me help you by scouting ahead to find that café." He didn't even wait for Fianna to say anything before starting off ahead. Cursing under his frosty breath, he ran after the Buizel, who had gotten well ahead of the trainer. Don't leave me all cold and lonely out here... Broski...
Broski had to only pass about 4 or 5 buildings before coming to one that had a few tables set up outside, their umbrellas opened up. He stopped and read a chalkboard sign that stood in front of the building's entrance, the writing in pink and white chalk. The chalkboard said something about a free lunch, which reminded him of the message that he had received some time ago. He looked back at Fianna and quickly shouted, "This is the place, Sisbro! Hurry, hurry!" Fianna coughed as he was running towards the now stationary Buizel, gasping for air once he had caught up. Broski wasn't going to afford him the moment to rest, at least not until they finally made it inside of the establishment.
Many tables were set up with vases of flowers on top, a few of them already occupied. Pulling the envelope out of his bag, Fianna drew the letter out to look at it one more time to make sure he knew what he was doing now that he was in the right place. Just then, the maitre'd came around and greeted the two of them, looking down at Broski in particular. "I'm sorry, miss, but the Buizel isn't allowed any further into the café. You'll have to place it inside of its Poké Ball before I can seat you." This presented a problem to Fianna. He never really 'caught' Broski, so much as he was able to catch his respect enough that he would become a Pokémon that would always be there for him. "He's my Pokémon, but... He doesn't exactly have a Ball to go into for safekeeping...," said the trainer, giving the waiter a look that had 'puppy eyes' written all over it. The maitre'd stood firm on his position. "Wild Pokémon aren't allowed in here, miss! Please leave that Buizel outside, or else I'll have to kick you out with it." Broski didn't appreciate being called a 'wild Pokémon' by some complete nobody who didn't know a thing about how he and Fianna became friends. But, at the same time, he would rather have his trainer have a good time and meet somebody who could be nice enough to put up with the trainer's many quirks. "I get it. I'll leave," he said, making it look and sound like he was annoyed that he couldn't accompany his trainer friend to a table they could both sit at. As he got to the door, he turned his head to look back at Fianna, not appearing the least bit upset that at least his trainer would be safe by his selfless sacrifice. "I can take care of myself for the time being, Sisbro. Just go and have a good time and promise to tell me about it later." What the hell was he suddenly talking about, having a good time without him there to enjoy it too! he thought, approaching the Buizel with the sad look being presented to the twin-tailed Pokémon. "Sisbro, stop. You need this more than I do, okay? I won't be too far away. Best of luck, Sisbro." Broski returned outside and found some eavestrophing to climb up, perching himself on the roof of the café so that he could get a good view of everything going on around the building.
"Broski, wait...! I'd rather be with you...!" he cried out, dropping the letter and hurrying outside to try to find in which direction the Buizel went to. The maitre'd picked up the letter and noticed the word 'carnation' very quickly. He went outside and approached the trainer, showing the letter to Fianna. "You have a reservation for the Carnation Table, Miss....Fianna? Please come with me," he said, taking a menu and tucking it under his arm before directing Fianna to the table. He wanted, so much, for Broski to enjoy the day together with him here. He had no choice but to try not to think too much about Broski not being there to share in the fun, reluctantly following the waiter to the table.
As Fianna was introduced to the table that he'd be sitting at, he saw that there was a big black and white furry beast sitting at the table with its head lying low. It looked really cute, almost adorable even. As Fianna sat down on the lone vacant chair at the table, he was tempted to rub the panda's head. So tempted that he reached out with his hand, hesitated halfway, thought about pulling his hand back just in case it was a trap, but then thought again of how adorable it was to have such a big, furry thing seated at his table that he went all the way and petted the panda on the head. He kept stroking the head fur, not realizing that it was only a fuzzy sort of hood he was feeling. It felt so good that a warm, fuzzy feeling even overcame the trainer, forever petting the boy in the suit if he could. Danny had the hood over his eyes so he didn't even see who was coming towards him. He was still mumbling something about his step-sister under his breath. It was just so much nope right now. However, he was soon shocked out of his thoughts when he felt...someone patting his head? Staying silent for a few seconds, Danny blinked under his hood. His eye twitched, feeling a bit awkward right now. Well, who wouldn't? He was a 17 year old teen in a panda suit being petted on the head by some stranger. Who wouldn't feel awkward in this? Lifting his head he noticed the...err...the...uh...human, in front of him. "...the day keeps getting better and better..." he said under his breath. First he had to wear this suit, next he had to sit here in a place full of people to see him in it, and now...he was being patted by some person. Life is wonderful...not.

He looked around just to make sure there wasn't anyone else around, not even the waiters. Mostly empty tables, and the couple of waiters that were around didn't really seem to be doing much anyway. One of them seemed to be talking to another waiter, who looked like he was busy playing with some small electronic device (which may or may not have been a 'Hey You, Pikachu!'). There was also a waitress around, though she was busy at the line, taking control of the sweets that were meant for another table.
With no one else around, he thought to himself Did this cute, cuddly, fuzzy creature....just say something? Perhaps this one was one of those rumored Pokémorphs that he had heard about from someone before... Fianna didn't know what he should be asking to a Pokémorph, not that he could really prove that the panda was really a Pokémorph just from hearing such a faint voice that could have possibly come from nowhere. And then, he finally saw the face of the supposed Pokémorph in front of him. The Pokémorph had a cute face, though the Pokémorph's eyes and his expression reeked the stench of sadness. Something couldn't have been right for him or her to be looking like that. Fianna, in an attempt to do something that would be daring even by his own standards, lowered his hand to the Pokémorph's face, around the Pokémorph's fleshy cheekbone. Fianna looked into the Pokémorph's almost turquoise-colored eyes and said, "Um, hi... Is something the matter?"
Fianna's heartbeat lightly pounded from within as he awaited the Pokémorph's response, not really caring to fugure out what kind of Pokémon he or she was a morph of, for the moment... TAGS: ---- | NOTES: My wittiness has escaped me for the moment D: CREDIT: Template made by Kassy! [/style]

A sweatdrop of some sort hung on the back of Danny's head. What was wrong? Well for one, he was in a huge freaking panda suit. Two, a random...person was petting him. He was already a bit annoyed by the entire thing. The sound of his voice was clear of that. "Nope, nothing wrong at all. 'Cause it's totally normal to be in a place looking like this." Danny said, resting his head on his hand as he leaned on the table. How did he ever get stuck like this? Next time an event happened he was so forcing Amber to go and do this with him. Or at least something so she would feel his pain too.
A waiter came by and looked at the table weirdly, but came by anyways. "Would you like anything to drink?" He asked, staring oddly at Danny, who shot back a 'grr, don't look at me like that' kinda face. "I'll just take a glass of water." He said, his voice rough with annoyance. The waiter slowly back stepped away and looked at Fianna. "What would you like?" He asked.

[style=width: 390px; padding: 20px; border: 5px solid #323D7A; background-color: #050923; color: #3C4B98; font-face: tahoma; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify;]Judging from the tone of the supposed Pokémorph's voice, he seemed disinterested being here. It couldn't have been more obvious from the way that he pulled his head away from Fianna's hand, to rest it on top of his own hand, as if he were bored or frustrated by something. Fianna thought, at that moment, turned into mumbling to himself instead. "Something must be bothering him... Is it me? Maybe... I'll try a more straight-forward approach?"
The other hand still had the letter in it, given back to him by the maitre'd. He started to open it up, when a young waiter, baby-faced and curly-brown hair, appeared at their table and asked for the Pokémorph's beverage order. He was paying more attention to the Pokémorph and the young waiter, as the fur-clad person asked simply for a glass of water. Fianna's eyes were fixed on the Pokémorph, until he asked him what he wanted to drink. Fianna was taken aback quickly, picking up the menu to see where there were drinks. "Umm... Let's see now.... Here! I'll have this, please!" he said as he held his finger to something that said Sitrus Tropical Smoothie.
The waiter wrote both of those things down, but didn't immediately leave the table. He noticed the pink-shaded, folded-up sheet of paper at Fianna's place and realized why they were both sitting together there. He showed a bigger smile than before, though he was laughing to himself on the inside. "Say, don't you two make an interestingly cute couple~ I'll come back with your drinks in a moment!" The waiter took his leave, almost like he was floating on air. He really seemed to be into the whole 'spirit' of Valentine's Day.
Fianna's face turned a bright red, upon hearing the waiter's banter. He wanted to hide his face into something, anything at all. He took the menu and folded it out completely, sticking his face as close to it as he could. He didn't need that waiter talking about them being a couple already; he was already nervous enough just being pushed to go through with this in the first place. He tried to take his eyes away from the menu, moving the menu down to look at the Pokémorph again. His shyness overcame him, however, burying his face inside of the menu once again. He pushed the folded-up sheet of paper towards the guy, not realizing that he had pushed it almost until it was going to fall right on his lap. "Di-Di-Did you get one of these, too!?" his voice jumping with a flighty tone, the menu starting to shake along with his arms. He was already hoping that he could take this Pokémorph guy and get out of the café before there was any more embarrassment by the servers.
