Nichole was not pleased, not pleased at all. The costume that had seemed so perfect earlier was now proving itself to be much too tight on her stocky frame, and the wig was making her scalp itch like crazy. The music was loud, and the air smelled of alcohol. Once again, she had to wonder why she was here in the first place. As soon as Nichole entered the main area, she froze for several seconds, confused by the amount of movement. Where on earth was she going to go? There was no way that she would dance, so the only option was to sit somewhere, or maybe stand against a wall and look innocuous. Since there seemed to be no open seating besides the bar, Nichole opted for the latter. Moving as far away from the mayhem as possible, she leaned against the wall, careful not to mess up her wig. The girl reached into her small brown purse, which she had taken as a precaution, and pulled out Contraz's pokeball. She released the scraggy from the sphere, and he looked around in excitement. <This is awesome! Thanks for taking me!>, he shouted above the music, and then left without another word, vanishing into the crowd. Nichole felt her stomach flutter in sudden fear. A small, young Pokémon wandering around at a party? That wasn't good. She wouldn't be able to find him now, though, he was already lost in the swarm of people. The trainer sighed nervously, then took out a second pokeball. This time the released Pokémon was Eau, the buisness-like sewaddle. She was the only one small and level-headed enough to keep track of that reckless scraggy. "Eau, Contraz has wandered off, and I'm worried about him. Would you mind keeping him out of trouble?", she asked, and the bug nodded, face impassive. Silently, she crawled off in search of the wayward pokemon, and Nichole was left alone again. She settled back against the wall again, and looked up at the ceiling. What was so great about these parties, anyway? Costume:

Susumu wasn't exactly sure where to start as soon as he got in the party, but in his mind was one thing-- hunger. He was hungry. Where was the best food, and how could he get it? He noticed that the crowd was pretty big, but people were releasing their Pokemon so they could have some fun as well. With a shrug, he picked a random Pokeball on his belt and sent out the creature--this one ending up with Muda, a very new recruit to his team that wasn't the most tame. However, it was easy to scare Muda into listening to you.
<This place, I've never seen anything like it! Wow! Look at all of the pretty girls!> The Trubbish gasped, at first really startled by the strobe lights as he hid behind Susumu's legs, but upon closer inspection it all seemed pretty magical to the Trubbish. People were having fun, and they all looked so cool! Susumu was even dressed up as a Sandshrew-- a Pokemon he recognized while traveling along with his swarm.
"Muda, I'll be right over there if you need anything. Try to have fun, ok? If you want some food, ya know. I'll be around there." Susumu chuckled and patted the confused Trubbish on the head, hurrying over to the bar to order some really good looking junk food. Fried chicken and french fries all the way man!
<Uh...dancing! Right. I-I think I can do that.> Muda gulped after he realized how alone he was, at first too dependent to do anything on his own. He saw a nearby Buneary dancing and tried to copy some of her moves by hopping and spinning around, and he found it kind of fun even if he wasn't very coordinated. He was getting obnoxiously close to the Scraggy though in all of his fun, not realizing that he could easily knock into anyone.

Contraz, after leaving his trainer, had wandered onto the dance floor, attracted by the flashing colors and mass of people. There were also several other pokemon wandering about, a fact for which the scraggy was thankful. All of the surrounding humans were a little imposing with their large size, and having a few smaller creatures around helped.
<What a party!>, he said to himself, then began to dance. He must have looked a little funny, a small pokemon in too-big skin dancing to rave music, but the Scraggy didn't mind in the least. In fact, Contraz had been as happy as happy could be until he was suddenly jostled by someone knocking into him.
<Hey, what gives?>, he shouted, and whirled around to see who had disturbed his dancing. It was a Trubbish, of all things. The stinky pokemon was dancing wildly, seeming to take no heed to those around him. With an annoyed growl, Contraz swept his left leg towards the Trubbish's feet.
All of a sudden, he found himself face-first on the ground, a silky chord having pulled said leg behind him, causing Contraz to trip. Eau emerged from the surrounding crowd, holding the other end of the thread. That darn Sewaddle looked just as impassive as always.
<Not cool!>, Contraz spat at her, but the bug's facial expression didn't change.
<This is not the time or place to fight.>, she replied calmly, and dropped the thread. The Scraggy grumbled to himself, and tore the silk from his leg, ignoring the Trubbish that he had almost attacked.
Nichole stood against the wall, motionless, for several minutes. As time passed, she felt increasingly awkward about just standing there, doing nothing. Normal people didn't stand on the sidelines of a party, after all. What should she do, though?
At that moment, she spotted the bar. Well, she wasn't going to have anything illegal, but a nice cup of water, or maybe some soda, couldn't hurt. Plus, it would give Nichole something to do. Awkwardly, she slipped through the crowd and approached the bar. There weren't too many people there at the moment, thankfully, and she ordered a glass of water. The girl felt rather vulnerable, being out in the open like that, but she considered it an acceptable risk. Nichole sipped her water gingerly, eyeing the nearby people with a wary expression (only when they weren't looking in her direction, mind you).

Ahhh, the bar. He wasn't interested in drinking so early, especially when he skipped dinner. The smell of chicken was the most temping and delicious thing to him ever, and he quickly ordered that along with a side of fries. As long as he could get his taste buds all over that breading, everything would be ok. He sighed in contentment as the bartender got him a Dr.Pepper to keep him busy in the meantime, and he drank to his hearts content. The music was loud and annoying in the background, but the tv on the screen showing the latest scenes in sports was enough to keep him occupied. One was showing recent clips from football games, the other tv to his left was showing old baseball games that he wasn't as interested in.
Sports were awesome, and should be appreciated for what they are. These athletes were warriors man, and even though he tried to look like he wasn't too into it, his hand started to twitch each time the game got exciting. His nostrils flared, and he wanted to boo or shout each time his favorite team did something interesting. It was a guy thing, totally. It didn't stop him from glancing over at the Kingdra cosplayer that slithered over to the bar, but his attention reverted back to the game. These costumes sure were fancy and interesting, where his was super casual. Very casual and cheaply made. Oh well, he didn't mind so much. It was all fun in the end.
<H-Huh?> Muda froze, paralyzed with fear after bumping into somebody. He gulped at the sight of the taller Scraggy, that was currently glaring down at him. He didn't know what to do! Oh no, what was going to happen?! Staring in total fear of the Scraggy, he flailed his arms around in an attempt to fix the situation. <It wasn't me! It was that guy in the Growlithe costume! His tail bumped you! Didn't you uh, see it?> He even pointed at the said costume wearer that was dancing nearby, but that didn't seem to phase the Scraggy one bit as it started to kick him.
<Nooooo!> He squealed, when suddenly he realized he wasn't in pain. His eyes were also closed tightly, now when did he start doing that? The Trubbish twitched when he saw that the Sewaddle had used a String Shot on the struggling fighting type, who was clearly not happy about this. <Ha...haha...> Muda's face turned into a childish smile as his arms covered his mouth, laughing at the Scraggy for his embarrassing situation of being controlled by a girl. <Hahaha, nice try kid. Nice try. You alllmost got me there.> He slapped at his own knee as he continued laughing, which was somewhat hard to hear due to the deafening music.
<You should be dancing, kid. Not fighting! Watch these moves!> Muda tsked at the Scraggy as he proceeded to shake his rear end like some of the chicks in the room, pretty much mocking everyone as he shook his hips around the dance floor. Pretty funny for an awkward looking Trubbish!

Also don't mind that shamu isn't starting any talking. we can maybe let the Pokemon do the interacting, and maybe force the trainers to pay attention. :'D

Contraz freed himself from the sticky thread, then turned back to the Trubbish, who had unwisely decided to continue talking. Did he just call him "kid"? That annoying laugh wasn't helping, either.
<You should be dancing, kid. Not fighting! Watch these moves!>, the Trubbish said, then proceeded to shook his hips.
<That's it, pal! You're going down!>, he called, then rushed at the pokemon. Eau stifled a sigh, and shot another silky string at the hot-headed Scraggy. Unfortunately, it missed, and Contraz barreled forward unimpeded. He, of course, had no idea that the trash pokemon was actually much stronger than himself.
Nichole, after a few minutes of standing awkwardly with her drink, sat down at the bar. The dress tightened uncomfortably in the new position, but she managed to find a comfortable position after several seconds of re-adjusting.
"Why do they have to have the music so loud, anyway?", the girl murmured to herself as she gazed at the crowd of dancers.
"Maybe it's an excitement thing.", came the calm reply, accompanied with a shrug. Whatever the reason behind it was, the blaring dance music was annoying.
"Well, you're in quite the bad mood.", Nichole observed. The only reply was a slightly bitter laugh.
"You do know that you're talking to yourself in public, right?" Crud, she was right. Nichole glanced around, hoping that no-one had noticed her odd behavior. That Sandshrew-dressed guy was close enough that he might have heard her.
<Excuse me.> Eau's cool voice broke through the trainer's haze of embarrassment, and she looked down at the bug. Wasn't she supposed to be with Contraz?
"Uh...yeah?", Nichole asked, just loud enough to be heard over the music.
<Contraz has become violent with a much stronger pokemon.>, the Sewaddle informed her calmly.
What!? Of all the stupid things to do...and at a party, no less! Nichole took a deep breath, but it didn't help to ease her anger and (she didn't bother to hide it) concern. What if Contraz got hurt?
"Lead the way.", she said firmly, and Eau nodded, before vanishing back into the crowd, Nichole following suite.

"Come on, Starmies." Susumu grumbled under his breath as he stared up at the TV screen, noticing that his food wasn't ready yet as he waited for the pointy purple warriors to score more points. He was pretty oblivious to everything else, focusing more on the subtitles on the TV in order to get an idea of what was going on. The music made everything else impossible to hear, but he did glance left and right to make sure no one gave him any weird looks.
Oddly enough, the Kingdra lady was gone. So soon? Oh well, someone was probably going to take her seat. Nothing that really stood out in his mind, since he just wanted to eat, and he didn't think that Muda was getting into any trouble.
<EEK! Don't hurt me!> Muda cried out in terror when he realized that the Scraggy was untamed once more. He bolted away from the fighting type, but the youngster was able to catch up with him. He winced and dived to the ground right as he was attacked, expecting a lot of pain...then nothing. Huh? He blinked a few times when he noticed that the Scraggy didn't even budge him one inch. He turned around and just stared at the fighting type before a malicious smile appeared on his face. So he was dealing with a weakling, huh?
<Well well well...I like this development.> Muda cackled, taking a few steps towards the Scraggy and reaching out with his trash like arms. Oh yes, he was going to have fun with this one. Thinking quickly, he attempted to grab the hot-headed Pokemon and aimed him so he'd slide right under the dress of a girl that was dancing. Now that wasn't something that was going to end well.

Contraz's attack did not work out as he expected, to say the least. Instead of tackling the Trubbish to the floor, it felt more like he had run into a brick wall. Or, to be more precise, a wall made of trash...not that there was such a thing.
<Well well well...I like this development.>, his opponent said with a rather evil-looking smile. Then, the disgusting thing grabbed Contraz with his smelly arms, and tossed him. The Scraggy felt himself sliding across the floor, and then his view was obscured by fabric. Then...
<ACK!> His disgusted yell was accented by the female's scream, and he felt a terrified foot dig into his side.
"Disgusting pervert!", said the woman in a shrill voice, and then she ran off, leaving a stunned Scraggy lying on the floor.
That deplorable Trubbish...he had meant for that to happen! This was war! Jumping to his feet, Contraz sent a glare in the pokemon's direction. By this point, a small clearing had opened around the two combatants, with a lot of the nearby dancers now watching them curiously. The outer ring was broken, though, when none other than Nichole burst into the makeshift arena. She looked furious and mortified at the same time, her emotion only exaggerated by Eau's calm demeanor.
"Contraz! Stop being stupid and come here!", his trainer ordered sternly. Apparently, she could be quite snappy when irritated.
<This guy deserves to get pummeled!>, he shot back defiantly, then turned to the Trubbish again.
Apparently, Eau decided that then was a good time to tackle him. Once again, Contraz found himself face-first on the floor. This was getting old.

Muda cracked up as the Scraggy was at first confused by the movements, then suddenly the scream and the kick explained it all. He was rolling on the floor dying at the misunderstanding he just caused. Sure, he might've been extremely manipulative, but he never physically harmed the Scraggy. Heh, unless being picked up and slid on the dance floor was called an attack, he was completely innocent. This Scraggy sure was something though, not knowing when to give up. It wasn't a quality he understood really, having that kind of mentality could get you killed. At least he knew the value in giving up! It was appreciated!
He didn't care that the crowd was watching, he knew that they were probably looking at the Scraggy as 'a pervert'. The cry from the human girl made it so worth it to him, he loved it. <Pervert, you got what you deserved. Don't let me catch you doing it again, that poor girl.> He scolded, lying through his teeth as he glared at the Scraggy. Oh this was fun. Lots and lots of fun, especially because he was never in control of situations! Ever!
Right as thew Scraggy got scolded by his trainer, and the Sewaddle tackled him back to the ground, he couldn't help but chuckle. Ok, maybe he did feel bad for the Scraggy. This situation must've really sucked, but hey. The kid had to learn his lesson somehow.
The sounds of a commotion in the crowd definitely was enough to grab Susumu's attention. He twirled around in his seat and glanced over at the dance floor, noticing people backing off and forming a circle around...something. Oh gosh, he didn't think Muda was the cause of it but...he really should make sure. He mentioned to the bar tender to keep note of his place as he slid off and wandered towards the scene, having to push past some people with constant apologizing just to reach it. Coming up from behind Nichole, he saw what was happening and instantly groaned. Oh god, what was this. Did he really want to be associated with his Pokemon right now?
"Muda, why..." He mumbled under the sound of the loud and obnoxious music, having no idea of what was going on. Still, he was interested enough to watch for a few seconds. If he had to return his Trubbish, then fine, but he didn't really want to. Muda had to learn how to have fun and enjoy himself, so he didn't want to rob it from the Pokemon.

Contraz swatted the smaller pokemon from her position on his back, and stood up hastily, his face flushing in embarrassed anger. That Trubbish was laughing at him, so hard that the deplorable pokemon was rolling around on the ground. He would never be able to live this night down!
<Pervert, you got what you deserved. Don't let me catch you doing it again, that poor girl.> The nerve of that talking trash bag! The Scraggy's small hands clenched into fists, as his whole body began to tremble with fury.
<Contraz, please cease. Fighting this pokemon is unadvisable.> , Eau said from somewhere behind him. This only served to increase his anger, somehow.
<I don't care! I'm gonna give that Trubbish what he d-> His enraged outburst was cut off abruptly by Nichole calling him back into his pokeball. That didn't keep him silent for long, though, as he quickly came back out of his own accord.
<What he deserves!>, Contraz finished, and then sent a glare in his trainer's direction. She seemed sufficiently cowed by his fierce look, and he turned to face that blackguard of a pokemon again. To his surprise, he found Eau standing between himself at the poison type, her own face hardened in serene determination.
<I cannot allow you to continue this.>, the Sewaddle informed him, and Contraz growled. The bug knew that she was weaker than him, right? Well, if it came down to that, Contraz wasn't above pushing past her to get to his opponent.
Nichole rubbed her face with both hands, and returned the empty pokeball to her purse. This wasn't going to work. Contraz was too enraged to reason with, and Eau wasn't strong enough to stop him by force. She hated to have to use Cunaetha in such a crowded area, but it was quickly coming to that. If only that Scraggy wasn't so stubborn and irrational! Nichole felt someone move in behind her, and glanced in that direction. It was the sandshrew guy from before! He looked rather dismayed about the events that were taking place, which confused the trainer. Everyone else watching either had looks of curiosity or amusement. Did he know the Trubbish, or something?
It didn't matter right now, though. Nichole's eyes returned to the three pokemon, her hands fiddling nervously with the purse on her shoulder. This confrontation wasn't going to end well, if it continued.

Muda giggled as even the trainer of the Pokémon recalled the Scraggy back into his Pokeball, but the fighting type wasn't having any of that. It came right back out, planning to pick a fight with him. How sweet, he was loved. Even funnier was the fact that his Sewaddle friend was attacking him in order to prevent a fight! Now the Trubbish didn't know how strong she was exactly, but he'd have to guess that they were around the same range. It wouldn't be like she was a threat exactly, but because she seemed so reasonable he had to make sure that she didn't figure him out, and lead everyone else in the crowd to do bad things to him. Bad things were never good, they just sucked.
Anyways, he doubted that would happen. The Scraggy was being far worse than he was, being so determined to pick a fight in the middle of a party. <You know, I could just knock some sense into you. You won't want to get out of your Pokeball then.> He suggested, taunting eyes directed at the Scarggy as he said it. Honestly in this situation, it might even help.
Susumu saw enough to understand that the girl right in front of him was the trainer of these other two Pokémon. Greaaat. How was he could to pull this one off? He stared at Muda. Hard. The poison type suddenly flinched as he felt the gaze of some strong and influential force gazing upon him, and the Trubbish hesitantly scanned the crowd. The two made eye contact. "What. are. you. doing?" Susumu mouthed the words, because it was kind of hard to hear voices anyways. The Trubbish had an odd sense that either he was already in trouble, or if he messed up he would be in trouble. Oh yikes, he didn't want that.
<Hahaha, wellll. We don't have to fight. I'll uh. Go somewhere else?> Muda chuckled nervously, looking around as he wondered if he could escape into the crowd unnoticed. Susumu's evil stare didn't leave him for a moment, giving him constant pressure.

<You know, I could just knock some sense into you. You won't want to get out of your Pokeball then.> Contraz opened his mouth to shout a comeback, but a hastily shot silk gag sent over by Eau stopped him. That insufferable Sewaddle actually looked amused!
<Mphm mrrn!>, he grunted, then tore the offending piece of silk off of his face.
<Was that really necessary?>, Contraz snapped at her. Eau simply nodded, her momentary look of amusement gone.
He looked over the smaller pokemon's head at the Trubbish just in time to see his flinch. Huh? Had he finally managed to intimidate the infuriating pokemon? It didn't really make sense, but seeing his opponent so nervous was extremely satisfying.
<Hahaha, wellll. We don't have to fight. I'll uh. Go somewhere else?> What? Was the Trubbish surrendering? Contraz smirked. Well, he had been looking forward to beating the pokemon to a pulp, but watching him run away like the coward he was seemed even better.
<Go ahead, run.>, he said, crossing his arms conceitedly. Eau glanced behind her at the Trubbish, wondering if the fight was indeed over.
Nichole gave a small sigh of relief as the fight seemed to come to a close. The Trubbish didn't look very hostile anymore, anyway, and Contraz seemed content to be the "winner". His pride was quite annoying, but it was better than seeing him get beaten into the ground.
"Thank goodness.", she breathed. They had made enough of a scene, on top of almost ruining the party with a violent pokemon fight. If they could just slip away now, without anyone noticing, maybe Nicole could still salvage some of her dignity. It was a good excuse to leave the party early, too.

The Scraggy was obnoxious and arrogant; Muda was sure that this Pokemon was always like this, just from the general vibe he was getting. With a scowl at that attitude, Muda was left debating what he should do. Sure, Susumu was scary but wasn't there some degree of male pride involved? He didn't like this at all. Not one bit. He shook in his place with his trash tentacles squeezing each other tightly, not sure how to react to this. He didn't even know what to say to a Pokemon like this, and he was debating just using some kind of Doubleslap when the Scraggy wasn't looking.
Except his trainer was watching, dammit. The plan to get some kind of self-satisfaction wasn't going to happen this time. He glanced at the bug with the stressed out look on his face, but managed to make a comment somehow. <Gook luck controlling the kid.> He grumbled out, before sneaking away behind a few dancers to go and sniff out something interesting.
Hey, there was food somewhere over here. It smelled realllly reaaaaallly good. Glancing up at the dessert table, he struggled to reach up and arm to try and get up there. 'Drat, too short.' He realized, stumped at how he was supposed to get up there. Maybe if there was a stool of some kind, maybe he could reach the goodies.
"It probably would be a good idea to keep that Pokemon in its ball; I don't know what started it, but it could probably start again." Susumu was actually talking to Nichole this time, not scolding her or hinting that he was Muda's trainer, but giving actual advice. If the Scraggy couldn't behave itself, it needed a time out. Right? Or at least some kind of a punishment, as if you were disciplining a kid. "If it gets too spoiled and strong, it's going to be a handful." He added, recalling his freaking Bibarel that had so many issues with him. She easily overpowered him now, and she hardly respected him at all. Though to be fair, he wasn't her original owner. She came to him messed up in a trade.

Eau nodded her head silently at the Trubbish's parting words, then turned to gaze again at Contraz. His self-satisfied sneer faltered for a moment at being called "kid" again, but it was soon back in place. His whole body practically radiated with ill-deserved pride. The bug sighed, and then crawled over to him.
<You handled that very immaturely.>, Eau commented, earning her an irritated look.
<What'da mean? I won, didn't I?>, Contraz shot back, his voice sharp.
<That is incorrect. Your opponent walked away without you ever doing any damage to him.>, came the Sewaddle's sensible comeback. Contraz's look of annoyance turned into a glare.
<Hey, I wasn't the one who ran away like a coward. That's victory enough for me.>, the Scraggy replied, doing his best to tower over the smaller pokemon. Eau wasn't fazed.
<Everyone came here to have an enjoyable evening. Your trying to start a fight did not facilitate enjoyment of any kind. As I recall, you were the one that begged Nichole to come here. Is this really how you wanted to spend your time at this party? Picking fights with other pokemon?> She wished to make this Scraggy understand just how foolish his actions had been. Contraz was too hotheaded, and much too prideful. His attitude needed to change, if he wished to become a helpful contributor to the team.
Contraz's jaw clenched tightly, the words stinging him like a Thundershock. Who did this Sewaddle think she was, his mother? Eau had no right to lecture him! She was too emotionless to understand what he had felt.
<Whatever.>, he grumbled, and stalked off. He didn't want to deal with Eau's morality speeches right now. As patient as ever, the bug trailed quietly behind him.
"It probably would be a good idea to keep that Pokémon in its ball; I don't know what started it, but it could probably start again." As the Trubbish walked away, and Eau began to talk with Contraz, that calm voice reached Nichole's ears despite the loud music. "If it gets too spoiled and strong, it's going to be a handful." The girl spun around, and discovered that the speaker was none other than the sandshrew-dressed man that she had been seeing all evening. Her face flushed bright red in embarrassment. He hadn't meant his words as an insult, of course, but she couldn't help her reaction.
"Y-yeah, I'm really sorry about that. I'll be sure to keep him in ch-check.", Nichole replied nervously, looking down at her shoes. She hadn't expected Contraz to get into trouble that quickly, and a whole lot of people had been bothered because of her negligence. There was a reason that she didn't go to parties, dang it!

<Hrm...I want dessert. What do?> Muda grumbled to himself, looking around the crowd for some kind of idea on how to solve this problem. It was an issue of height, so he was going to need a stool of some kind in order to reach the table. He didn't want to beg from the uncontrollable dancers, so that was out of the question. He glanced around his surroundings and might've accidentally spotted the Scraggy and Sewaddle wandering through the crowd, probably recently unleashed by their trainer. He huffed, not wanting anything to do with them now. He'd have to work to cleverly avoid them during the party-- which he wasn't sure if he could do. There weren't a lot of Pokémon around now, so he probably stood out among all of the people.
<Wouldn't that work?> He thought out loud as he stared at a cart that one of the waiters left unattended for the time being. Whatever it was, it didn't look like it was being used. He scurried over to it and put one foot on the bottom level of the cart and the other on the ground. He then started to roll closer and closer to the buffet table, eyes intent on getting some grub. Heh heh. It was all his!
Susumu looked at the girl that looked rather formal and regal in her costume, but suddenly she seemed a bit soft-spoken. It wasn't because the music was loud either, she tried to get her words across and he could get the gist of it. Not a loud person, he supposed. He felt a bit bad and softened up, faking a smile. "Don't worry too much though, this is a place to let go." He saw that all of the Pokémon suddenly ran off somewhere. Not knowing what to make of that, he decided to stick around with the trainer to make sure she was ok.

Nichole felt slightly better at the man's smile, but his words made a dry and sarcastic reply hard to resist. A place to let go, indeed. A fireside chair with a good book on your lap was a place to let go, but this? This was one of the more stressful things she had done in a while. The girl didn't say any of this out loud, of course. She wouldn't ruin this guy's night any further by voicing her thoughts.
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks.", she replied softly, then glaced behind her to see what Eau and Contraz were doing. With a start, she discovered that they had vanished again. Really? At least Eau had gone with him, just in case the Scraggy managed to find more trouble. Knowing him, he probably would. Now to find the two pokemon, so that she could leave this party as soon as possible.
"Er...excuse me, but I should probably go find them.", Nichole told the man, who was still standing there. If she was lucky, she could be out of here within five minutes.
As Contraz wandered through the dense crowd, he just happened to spot the Trubbish again. He was rolling some kind of cart, for reasons unknown. The Scraggy laughed openly at the strange-looking display, and Eau rolled her eyes for the second time that night, still undetected by the other pokemon. He really was too childish for his own good. For the time being, though, he seemed content to simply watch the Trubbish, instead of trying to instigate another fight. Perhaps his earlier "victory" had satiated him enough?

The cart rattled as it collided with the buffet table, making the spiked punch bowl wobble back and forth as the liquid rolled over itself. Muda smiled with a pleased grin as he hopped out of the cart to admire his work, seeing it so nearly lined up with the table to reach his goal. He was going to get his sweet smelling food to satisfy his sweet tooth, oh yes he was. The Trubbish was so concentrated on getting the job done that he failed to notice the stray glances from the Scraggy and Sewaddle as his trashy appendages wrapped themselves around the cart.
He then started to climb up 4th grade gym style up the ropes, going further up and up with a hot-headed determination to reach his goal. He was going to get it, even if he had to play dirty. His arms felt sore from the exercise, but he made it to the top of the cart. Now he was as free as could be! <Wow! I landed in heaven!> His face beamed when he saw the view of many foods bigger than his entire body was placed out neatly before him. Not one to actually be neat, he ran right off the cart, making it shake as he hopped onto the table and started for the jello. It was all shiny and green, so he was naturally attracted to it. He didn't bother with a spoon as he started om nom nomming on it freely.
No one else seemed to notice him. Yet. Surely he was bound to get in trouble for being such a slob about it eventually. For now though, he remained oblivious to what was going on around him. Susumu on the other hand just nodded at the girl as she excused herself, probably looking for those Pokemon. Now what was he supposed to do now? Glancing at the table, he realized that the food was almost ready. "Fooood..." He moaned as if he was in a trance, practically hovering back over to his table as the meal was presented to him. Oh god yes, time to chow!
Like trainer like Pokemon.

Climbing the wobbly cart to reach the desserts!

Nichole stood there for a few seconds after the man walked away, eying the crowd with a despairing look. How was she supposed to find Contraz and Eau in this mess? The girl took a deep breath, then dived (it sure felt like it, anyway) into the mass of dancers.
It only took about five seconds for the relatively short trainer to get lost among the wild dancers. The music was blaring, the lights were distracting, and some of the things that the people were doing was downright disgusting. Not to mention the prevalence of too-skimpy costumes. To top it all, there was no sign of her two missing pokemon.
"This is ridiculous.", Nichole muttered to herself, and then reached into her purse. It would solve her problem, and besides, she had already made a scene tonight. Making another one to escape this party quicker wasn't going to hurt her dignity any more. She took out Cunaetha's pokeball, and released the doduo into the crowd. Cunaetha looked around at her new surroundings, feathers fluffed up in alarm.
<WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING AT A PARTY? This place is inappropriate for a girl your age! You haven't done anything illegal, have you?>, the bird screeched after a few seconds, her tiny wings unfurled in irritation. Nichole took a startled step back, shaking her head forcefully. The adjacent dancers looked annoyed at the disturbance, and backed away.
"No! I didn't do anything illegal! Contraz practically forced me to come here!", the trainer replied sincerely, and Cunaetha calmed down a little. Nichole then outlined what had happened between Contraz and the Trubbish, and told her about her current predicament.
"You're...er...more noticeable than I am, and I was wondering if you could help me get through this crowd.", she finished, a little meekly.
<Of course I will, dear! That Scraggy needs a stern talking-to, too.>, Cunaetha replied pleasantly. <Which way did they go?>
"At this point, I have no idea.", Nichole answered, and Cunaetha shrugged before walking in a random direction. The dancers, not wanting to bother a potentially dangerous pokemon, moved out of her way with irritated glares in the doduo's direction. Cunaetha wasn't concerned in the least. Nichole followed her in the clear path that she left, and eventually the two of them reached the edge of the dance floor.
To her surprise, Eau and Contraz were only a few feet away, watching the Trubbish from before stuff his face with dessert. Was he even allowed to do that? It wasn't her concern, though, so Nichole focused on her own pokemon.
"Contraz, return!", she said tensely, lifting his empty pokeball in the Scraggy's direction. He gave a startled yelp as he was drawn into the machine, but he didn't pop back out. Eau glanced around, actually looking a little surprised.
<Hello.>, the bug greeted them formally. Cunaetha nodded in acknowledgement, then loped over to the Trubbish.
<Excuse me, but I don't believe those treats are for you.>, the bird informed him sternly. Nichole watched the doduo warily. If the Trubbish decided to start another fight (she still had no idea how the first one had begun), then the chaos would begin all over again.
::scraggy:: Contraz - Male Level: 7 Was withdrawn. Finally.
::sewaddle:: Eau - Female Level: 5 Not doing anything, really.
::doduo:: Cunaetha - Female Level: 7 Scolding Trubbish for eating the desserts.

<Hehehe...frosting. Cookies. Brownies. Candy.> Muda made weird and spazzy chuckles as he hoarded as much food to himself as he could, clearly not the best influence or role model around here, but he never hit the jackpot like this! Why...with this much food, he'd be happy for a week! He'd gain so much weight and yet be so happy, he could tell it would be worth it as he greedily ate what he could. He hardly noticed the looks and odd stares of people around him, but with a sudden change in song he felt oddly compelled to stand up with two cookies in his hands. There was this funky new song with an intense beat that made him want to dance and cry for joy! He didn't understand it all, but it was fun! <WEPA!> He cried with a mouthful of food as the drums started to go off, and the dancers got excited at the same time! It was such a rush of energy, he loved it!
Sure he was partying by himself and not with friends, but he didn't really understand the purpose of friends anyways. What was the point? As he was grooving to the club music with a nice spice of latina, enjoying the fun of the party, some Doduo walked up to him and came calling.
<What are you talking about? It's a buffetttt. Have some, it'll make you happy.> Muda didn't get it as he broke off some cake from the table and waddled over on the cart, dropping it on the floor do the Doduo could have some. <It's goooood!> He teased, chuckling as the sugar oddly made him extremely happy for no reason. Haha, she had two heads. Nice.
