After arranging a room reservation with the receptionist, the fledging Trainer sauntered his way towards his assigned room. After stopping in front of the locked door, Vitae fiddled through his pocket for a brief moment, dark-skinned fingers fishing out a crisp keycard. With a quick swipe through the card reader, an electronic beep broke the brief silence and the automatic door slid open with a mechanical whirr. Inside was a wide and spacious arena, the floor and walls made of a durable, flame-retardant material so that the whole Trainer’s Lounge wouldn’t collapse due to a vicious battle causing all kinds of collateral damage. There were different sections in the private room as well, serving to fit all types of Pokemon. It all seemed perfect but now the only thing that Vitae needed was an opponent.
Of course, he didn’t already have a designated opponent whenever he reserved a room however the receptionist was sure to place Vitae on the available trainers list, a sure-fire and easy way for Trainers to match up and then proceed with a battle. Until that happened, the lad saw it best to simply relax. After scuttling to a bench on the side, the enigmatic youth lowered himself down with ease, curious to see as to who he and his Pokemon would be pit against.

This was quite -- different? Rex never in his life been to a Trainer's Lounge, he had heard of it and read about it in newspaper, but never once been in one or seen one for himself. Nonetheless, the twenty year old trainer entered the lounge cautiously, awaiting for someone to guide him to the room which he had reserved. He was dressed in his casual attire, polka-dot hat, hoodie, blue jeans, tennis sneakers, and his father's blade resting on his left hip, nothing truly outstanding. Shortly after, he was approached by a female, whom seemed to be rather shocked at the numerous tattoos the male had, but yet still showed him the way, allowing him to follow suit behind her.
They stopped in front of a basic metal door, she gave him a card, and quickly went on with her way. "I guess I go in here?" He asked himself, whilst he swiped the card that quickly made a "beep-boop" sound and slid open for the youth. This truly was interesting. He walked into the dark room and kept pressing forward, which had a bright light shining up ahead. Things were truly causing him to freak out, but he walked through, which lead him to a giant battlefield. Caramel pools stared in amazement, as arms rested on his side. Rex looked all over and after a few minutes of looking, he discovered that the person he was going to battle was literally across from him.
"Yo! I guess it's just us two here. You ready to go? Either way you're going to lose man, so let's just get this over with. I say we do one-on-one, I have four pokemon. What about you?" He asked whilst cocking his head back, a devious smirk came across his facade as he looked at the male.

His head turned towards the masculine’s voice source, belonging to quite the tall individual. Garbed in interesting clothing and with tattoos littering almost every part of his body, the brash male confidently announced his upcoming victory, claiming he had the foresight to know that there was literally zero possibility of him losing. However, Vitae wasn’t the least bit shaken. Passing a soft smile, the serene teenager rose to his feet. Black tennis shoes clopped against the linoleum flooring.
“Hmm. I have three Pokemon. So, we can do single battles, three Pokemon each if you want.”
Giving an affirmative nod, the lad plucked a single Pokeball from the series of Pokeballs clipped to the left side of his pants. With a nonchalant toss, the young Trainer sent the sphere sailing through the air before it cracked open to send the Pokemon inside zipping down towards the ground in a brilliant display of white light. A few moments passed before the light took the form of a shiny Pansage. The grass-type’s wide, expressive eyes already began to dart back and forth, taking in the sight of the specialized battle room. His petite nose twitched, breathing in the all too familiar scent of his Trainer.
( Yo. So where exactly are we Vitae? This some kind of arena? )
“It is. I thought that you, Aqua and Pearl wanted some battling practice. We’ll be going against that guy over there. Hopefully, that sounds good for you?”
( Pfft! Of course it does! This dude already looks like a big shot. We’ll straighten him out then! )
Slamming a fist into an open palm, Verde passed the lanky male a toothy grin, sharp teeth glinting. Already hyped, the grass-type stood at the ready, his fur glossing over with a pristine sheen. With a short smile, the lad glanced on over towards his randomly assigned opponent, his arms comfortably held at his sides.
“I’m Vitae and he’s Verde. You can have the first move if you want.”

The youth gave a nod back in response to dark-skinned child's words, as he patiently awaited to see the Pokemon which was going to be revealed. The white light shined brightly in the area, as the pokemon known to be Verde appeared, a green looking monkey is what it looked like in Rex's eyes. But he still took hold of his Pokedex, to learn information about the given Pokemon. "Oi, so he's a Pansage, interesting." The youth stated, as he put the item away and stared at the Pokemon. The Pansage was excited it seemed, for it quickly sent a toothy grin to Rex and in response he sticked up the middle finger.
Lengthy digits took hold of the miniscule pokeball and then quickly tossing it in the air, whilst it spun at great speed, shortly after cracking open as a red beam found itself on the battlefield -- creating the same white light similar to his opponent. The silhouette of a Pokemon emerged and shortly after the Pokemon known as Pidove came forth, it's bird-like self looking directly at the Pansage without the care in the world.
( Seriously Rex, why do you call me to battle punks like these? )
Sora indicated as it began to take flight, going up in the air, not too high for the Pansage to reach. The Pidove waited for his trainer to give him a command and after minutes of pondering, Rex finally decided on what to do against his target, flinging his tattooed arm as he did so. "Pidove use Growl!" He demanded the pokemon as it quickly began to let out it's form as a Growl in attempt to affect the Pansage in some manner.

Fuming quietly as the cocky trainer flipped him off, the shiny grass-type’s charcoal hues glinted as the Pidove began to take form. Immediately, the haughty dove spoke with utter distaste at the thought of having to battle such worthless opponents and Verde could hardly contain his barely suppressed desire to beat the babbling buzzard’s face in. Nonetheless, the simian bounced in his signature stance, his hands clenching to half-closed fists as he brought them up to his face. Vitae remained quiet, brushing off the series of heated insults. Without hesitation, the partial flying-type took the air, hovering idly as Rex took several minutes to think of some sort of plan. Abruptly, he whipped a lithe finger at the grass monkey, demanding for the Pidove to frankly intimidate him and essentially lower his morale. Flinching for a brief second, Verde grit his teeth, brow furrowing as he shot the avian a rage-filled glare.
He can’t think . . . that I’m scared of him!
In reality, the Growl had its desired effect. A slight, prodding fatigue began to sink into the Pansage’s body and although he didn’t want to admit it, Verde knew that this would no doubt have an effect on his physical attacks. Great, and that was the only damage dealing attack that he knew. He despised being so inexperienced and weak whenever it came to battle however that was what Vitae was for. After all, he had to have some trust in the kid. Vitae mused in silence, curious as to what the Pidove’s Growl had done. With a quick assessment, the deeply tanned boy assumed that the grass-type hadn’t suffered any sort of damage and thus it was safe to continue through with some sort of offense.
“Hmm. See if you can bring him down a little lower Verde.”
Grinning devilishly, the light green pelted monkey burst forward in an incredible sprint, severing the distance between him and his flying opponent in but a matter of moments. Suddenly, he broke into a series of quick-paced backward handsprings, using the momentum to propel himself high into the air. He rose upward with startling force, his fanged smile growing as he neared closer and closer to his aerial target. Right paw rearing back with claws brandished, Verde viciously swiped forward towards the heart-shaped plumage at the bird’s chest, hoping to plant a well-placed Scratch attack.
Word Count: 401 Notes: Verde is hit by Growl and his attack is lowered by a single stage. Raging and after Vitae's request, he rushes towards Sora, doing all these crazy flips and stuff before launching himself high into the air. He aims to meet Sora and swat him with a Scratch attack. And the battle began. It seemed that the Growl did its thing against the Pansage, but didn't truly scare it at all, for the Pokemon quickly launched itself towards Sora with little effort. The Pidove was taken by surprise by how quickly the Pansage had shook off his growl, but was determined to win this battle and awaited for his master's commands. Quickly Rex began to state a few things to help the Pidove, "Sora, use Hypnosis and then Gust, gogogo!" Rex demanded the Pokemon, as its coal pools began to glow with an eerie color and attempt to put the enemy Pokemon to sleep.
But no, he wasn't going to stop there. Sora quickly began to flap his wings rapidly attempting to form a tornado around the Pansage and cause it to be damaged by the strong winds. This combo hopefully would have worked, but if it didn't the tatted being would have a few more tricks up his sleeve. He was having his very first Pokemon battle and it was rather blood-pumping. Digits clench the polka-dot hat, attempting to not make it get blown by the strong winds of the Gust, which was causing dirt and rocks to be kicked up; this was the real deal.
Sora began to let out a cry in attempt to talk to its trainer, notifying him that he was okay and well -- unless its attacked had been countered or something. The whole battle was just mind-boggling and left one waiting for more, was this the feeling of battle? Oh how Rex craved for more, as if it was some sort of drug to him. "Kid, I told you I'm winning, didn't I? Give up." He stated, as he quickly flipped him the bird as well. But as this was commencing -- it began to happen. Rex's heart began to pound with fear,
( Rex get a grip of yourself! Now is not the time! )
Sora cried, as he turned his back against the Pansage and took note of his trainer. He knew exactly what was going on in his crazy head and was watching to see the outcome. But nonetheless, Rex wasn't taking note of this at all, rather he was busy arguing with his father in his head. "Why won't you stop!? Seriously dad, stop it already! I told you I wanted this life, you have no right, no rightttttttt to take it away from me!!!!" He exclaimed, knocking his hat off to the ground and tugging on his ebony locks.
Word Count: 436 Notes: Sora basically used Hypnosis to put your pokemon to sleep and fired a Gust to strike him and catch him while he was still in mid-air. Basically a sleep, hit combo. His movements felt more sluggish, almost as if he were having to pour that much more effort into his attacks in order for them to deal some sort of damage. It angered Verde and there was no way in hell that he’d actually admit defeat to a bunch of snobbish, arrogant and delusional chumps. The monkey’s large, black eyes welled with delicious anticipation, sharp claws eager to draw blood. Suddenly, the bird’s beady eyes glowed with an otherworldly aura, invisible waves cascading outwards towards the airborne simian. Just like that, the grass-type began to feel sleepy and he could hardly choke back yawn as he continued through his ascension.
“Don’t look at his eyes if you can!”
His eyes? Of course! Any sort of eye contact was how Hypnosis droned its victims to sleep. In time, the shiny Pansage shielded his eyes with a tawny forearm, white fangs brandished as he soon lost sight of his opponent. Well shit, now he was just going to get ripped out of the air like a poorly-made paper airplane. But soon, it hit him, his single trump card. Being a shiny Pokemon wasn’t the only quirk that he had. Pursing his lips together, the monkey began to whistle an all-too soothing tune, timed at the point where the Pidove began to frantically whip his wings about. A soft flurry of leaves flowed forward, further alluding to the egg move’s assigned name. Making a focused blast of wind took time and while it may not have took that long, it was long enough to where it allowed Verde to hopefully lull the flying-type to sleep before he could throttle him with a super-effective Gust. Eventually, the grass-type’s feet met with the sweet ground and he immediately resumed stance, orienting himself so that he was facing wherever the pigeon currently was. His brow furrowed, nose wrinkling as he kept the cock-sure bird under his ebony gaze.
( Tch. Think you’re so tough . . . )
He barely noticed the dove’s protests to his trainer’s cries and shrieks. Vitae’s eyes widened with concern, curious as to what sent the katana-toting teen into this brief spurt of insanity. He wanted to reach out and help him, he did but knowing how the stranger was acting before, it was currently best to just sit back and observe. It wasn’t the dark-skinned boy’s preferred decision but he reluctantly bit his lip and watched in total silence, silently hoping that Verde would be spared from such severe damage.

The battle was getting intense, the attempt to use Hypnosis on the Pansage seemed to fail and be countered by Grass Whistle. But even though Rex was in his own world, Sora still believed to fight for himself and quickly use the only move possible in attempt to frighten or stop the whistling. As the whilst began to cause the bird pokemon to feel drowsy in a sense, the Pidove quickly began to let out a painful screech; Growl, in attempt to scare the Pansage and summon his Trainer back to reality. The eerie sound quickly snapped Rex back into reality, "Huh?" He stated, eyes blinking and adjusting back to the real world.
Caramel pools quickly looked up to Sora, as the pokemon was fending for itself -- oh how shitty Rex felt. "Sora! Use Gust one more time, this time no holding back." He exclaimed, as the pokemon began to flap his wings quickly, firing the Gust yet again to the target in attempt to blow him away and cause some damage. This was the first time they were every battling together and already Sora felt uncomfortable, not due to the fact of his trainer not knowing how to command, but the mental illness that he came with. But Rex felt he was going to be able to focus now in the battle.

Although his Grasswhistle was rendered completely useless, Verde wasn’t too upset at his shortcoming. The spray of transparent leaves fizzled out of existence once they connected with the pigeon’s coarse Growl. However, the lulling spell was soon completely drowned about by the bird’s annoying, high-pitched screech and the shiny monkey clamped his paws over his sensitive ears, sparing him from the loss in defense. While he might have been able to avoid the Growl, he wouldn’t be so lucky whenever it came to the incoming Gust. The whipping winds slammed into the simian’s body, shoving his body to the floor with ease. Gritting his pointed teeth, Verde was near powerless as he was forced to endure the entirety of the attack and once the winds finally died out, he merely laid there, body aching. Vitae raised a closed fist to his mouth, a faint glance shot in the ranting opponent’s direction. Just what in the world was he talking about? What did he expect Vitae to do while he was babbling to himself? If Rex wanted the much shorter male to consult him, that was fine and dandy but given his already arrogant attitude and horribly inflated ego, the katana-toting Trainer would’ve denied the calm boy’s help as soon as it was offered to him. However, the dark skinned lad’s “irritating” serenity didn’t falter and ultimately . . .
He didn’t even bother responding to the tattooed male’s venomous statements.
“Are you alright Verde?”
It was asked with clear concern and after a few seconds of utter silence, the grass-type suddenly flipped to his feet. Crouching over in an injured slouch, Verde nodded once, twice before raising his beige fists up to his face once again. Ecstatic that his companion was still in fighting shape, the black male pondered for a brief moment, wondering as to what the best course of action was.
“Try to land a hit if you can!”
Green-pelted legs carried the monkey further with startling speed and already, Verde transferred into a series of quick acrobatics flips and twirls, all for the sole purpose of confusing his opponent. A single explosive jump sent him skyward, solid black hues fixated wholly on the hovering dove. Rising to the point to where he was only slightly above the partial flying-type, the simian whipped his body forward to deliver a fierce downward kick with his left leg, sharp claws extended on his foot to make the attack that much more devastating. You see, Sora was enjoying the luxury of flight far too much and it was only logical for him to see how much of a privilege it was for him to even able to ascend to the skies.

A single motion of fist pumping was done by Rex, for he was truly glad that his attacked had landed on the pathetic Pansage. Light hues glared down on the simian pokemon, looking at the pokemon with utter disgust -- it was weak, feeble, and lacked drive, just like its trainer. But as the ink-man was going to speak, the Pansage came back with a deadly Scratch attack that landed on the Pidove. A painful cried could be heard as the pokemon was sent flying down, resembling that of a meteor when coming to earth. Pidove quickly landed on the ground, causing dirt to kick up as it was attempting to recover from the attack.
The being watched careful, patiently for the smoke cloud to clear -- just to see his beloved pokemon standing with pride. A sense of pride couldn't help but be felt by the trainer, but he soon had to focus back on the battle. "Hey kid, how about we make this a little more interesting? A triple battle, hmm?" He stated, retrieving two pokeballs that were on his waist and dashing them towards the battlefield. One pokeball cracked open, its light gleaming as the outline of a tiny pokemon could be seen, but the other one -- oh how large it was.
The tiny one soon revealed a Stunky that went by the name of Stink-Bomb, obviously because of its skunk like properties. It wasn't that massive in size, nor was it small and it had a very decent personality. But obviously that was an understatement, for the pokemon quickly began to complain to its trainer.
( What the hell Rex!? You told me I was going last, I was trying to get some beauty sleep! )
She complained to her trainer as she quickly looked at the people she was up against. Her beady eyes looked carefully, studying the Pansage and the Pansage's trainer. They didn't look so tough in her eyes, but who knows, maybe the kid had a trick up his sleeve. But before she could truly focus, she felt the presence of another behind her, overshadowing her very existence and when she looked up to the heaven's -- she noticed they were being blocked by the rock-type; Onix.
The booming voice of the Pokemon could be heard as it spoke in its tongues, telling its trainer off just like the Stunky.
( What now, Rex? I told you not to bother me, unle- is that a Pansage!? Dude what the hell is wrong with you? Don't you read in school? Rock types are obviously useless against a Grass type, you just obviously want me to go to the goddamn Pokemon Center. I don't even have goddamn insurance Rex, oh sweet baby Mewto, you are so - ughhh! )
[/color] Rex didn't know how to respond to the two, he just basically had his whole credit of a trainer revoked. But nonetheless, he quickly waited for the other trainer to summon his pokemon, the real battle was about to begin. Word Count: 509 Notes: Rex was happy that his attack made contact, but didn't expect the scratch attack. It landed on Pidove, but didn't really do that much. Oval-shaped eyes brightened with glee as the monkey watched his vicious kick land perfectly. Claws raked into the bird’s gray plumage, the concussive force of the blow sending the partial flying-type spiraling down towards the ground. However, Sora managed to catch himself before he made a complete collision with the hard floor. Verde gave a slight frown of disappointed, green-pelted legs coming in contact with the sweet, sweet ground. Various scratches and bruises peppered his tawny fur but he wasn’t about to give up yet, even with the severe type disadvantage looming over his head. Fists clutched tight and the simian brandished his white fangs.
This was getting tough.
And then the bi-polar chump began to yap about wanting to make the battle a triple battle instead and the grass-type couldn’t help but cock an eyebrow. A triple battle huh? Well, at least Verde was familiar with his fellow teammates. Vitae glanced towards the shiny Pokemon after Rex presented an offer, earning an affirmative nod from the competitive grass-type.
“Sure, why not?”
His left hand plucked the remaining two bi-colored spheres clipped to the brim of his pants and with a nonchalant toss, the newbie sent the twin devices flying into the air. They cracked open simultaneously, releasing the two remaining members of Vitae’s team. Pearl was the first to gape at the sight of the raging rock snake, petite paws raising to her mouth in girlish awe.
( Wow! He’s so tall! )
( . . . So, how exactly are we supposed to deal with him? )
Aqua inquired, the calm otter easing his prized seashell into his grip. Neither of him had access to moves that’d be super-effective against the towering rock-type and the monster’s size and hardiness would definitely serve as a problem. Verde glanced at his two friends, lips twisting in apprehension.
( Well, we’re just going to have to work together on this. No way in hell can we take all them by ourselves. )
( That much is true. )
( Hmm! I like that idea!! )
Twirling on her heels, the Minccino suddenly began to concentrate. A vibrant aura of oranges, reds, yellows and pinks began to surround her form. Soon, a single beam of the same hue sprouted from the colorful aura, connecting with the water-type. Energy swelled within the starter’s form and he felt as if he possessed the power to shatter boulders with sheer force.
( Hope this helps!! )
( Oh, it does! )
Grinning, the somewhat amphibious Pokemon selected his target, the Stunky. Stubby legs pushed his form forward with a reasonable amount of speed. The scallop reared back once he neared striking distance and he soon placed the makeshift weapon over his forearm, hoping to further increase the damage dealt by his full-out bulrush. Meanwhile, Verde set his sights on the Onix. That son of a bitch was going to be an absolute pain to take down however it wasn’t completely impossible. His determination soon settled in his gaze and suddenly, the monkey’s wide, expressive eyes took on an evil-red hue. Brow furrowed, he sent a deadly leer the rock-type’s way, hoping to soften him up so that he wouldn’t be so resistant to blows. Attacking wasn’t his immediate concern however he saw it best to watch Aqua’s six. After all, it was three against three and Rex’s Pokemon looked as though they wouldn’t have any problems ganging up on them. Pearl was conflicted for a brief moment, head whipping left and right before settling on the Pidove. Her fluffy tail wound up like a propeller and after bouncing towards the partial flying-type, the chinchilla whipped her body around, hoping to slam the pigeon across the face with a brutal swipe of her tail. Vitae stood back all the while, quietly observing his Pokemon’s actions. He wanted them to think for themselves. Besides, they knew themselves better than he did.

Things were going to get truly intense now, for Rex had brought out his two pokemon and now it was time for Vitae to reveal his own. Too be quite frank, the ink-man didn't think the youth would have anything truly special, but only time would tell. The two pokeballs flew in the air, revealing two rather unique pokemon -- Oshawatt and Minccino. Digits quickly dug into dark blue jeans, searching for the Pokedex which was found shortly after, "Time to see what's so interesting about these pokemon." He stated softly to himself as he placed the object in front of the two pokemon, soon revealing information about the two. Listening about the two pokemon made Rex wonder if they were truly a force to reckon with; things were truly about to get dangerous.
But before the trainer could think, Vitae took the offensive and quickly fired off attacks against Rex's pokemon. The trainer was ready for this and already knew what to do, "Rocky! Use Harden, defend Stink-Bomb and Sora, then use Roll Out! on Oshawott. Sora use Hypnosis and then use Gust. Stink-Bomb use Poison Gas combine it with Sora's attack!" He commanded all three as they all ready themselves for their trainer's command.
Rocky quickly used Harden in attempt to nullify the Pansage's Leer. After doing such, the massive snake-like rock pokemon quickly circle around his comrades, taking the hits for them. The Onix winced in pain, but still held his ground for his teammates, who quickly sprung into action. Sora swiftly took flight, allowing himself to be seen by any and then used his famous attack, Hypnosis. Eyes quickly glow with an eerie color, causing any of the opposing pokemon that looked to fall asleep, but the onslaught didn't stop there. Wings shortly began to flap, creating a tornado to form, which was the perfect time for Stink-Bomb. The Stunky quickly released a purple gas into the tornado that quickly became a purple tornado. The tornado quickly fired off towards the three opposing pokemon, hopping to cause some damage.
Now it was time for Rocky to shine, the Onix quickly ready himself to use Roll Out. The massive pokemon quickly locked his head with his tail and began to spin towards the Oshawott, attempting to hit him from the rear. Things were truly going to get dangerous.
Word Count: 399 Notes: Okay damn, so Onix used Harden to nullify the Leer and then defended Pidove and Stunky. Pidove then used Hypnosis hoping to affect anyone who dares look at him and then fires off a Gust towards all three of the opposing pokemon. Stunky combines the Poison Gas with the Gust, creating a poisonous gust in a sense. Onix then ready himself and used Roll Out hoping to his Oshawott. The tornado is coming in the front and Onix is trying to hit Oshawott from the rear. OOC: - - - - Colors: rex buggy rocky stink-bomb sora

The stone titan’s form glossed over with a metallic sheen and both Aqua and Pearl knew that the defensive maneuver wasn’t just for show. Both shell and tail connected with the rock snake’s tough exterior and they both felt the own force of their attacks jittering through their petite bodies. Backing up simultaneously, they lined up side by side with the shiny Pansage, the monkey not too pleased that his deathly glare had been rendered null and void.
( Watch it! Don’t look at him! He’ll put you to sleep! )
Verde warned. Even so, the pigeon’s hypnotic gaze was the least of the trio’s worries. Soon, the bird began to whip up a destructive blast of wind, poised to crash right into all of Vitae’s Pokemon. The purple stunk vomited up a sickly-purple fog, the irritating gas mingling with the horizontal tornado. Vitae touched his chin, obviously a bit worried about the numerous attacks. The opaque smog reduced the group’s field of vision, frankly saving them from making any sort of remote eye contact with the snide buzzard.
( We have to split up! Don’t breathe in that smoke! )
A sharp glint caught the otter’s solid black hues and they soon began to take on a bright blue glow. Despite all of the attacks heading his way, Aqua moved about with surprising fluidity. A single strong leap, fueled by Detect, took him to the left, narrowly missing both the toxic whirlwind as well as the tumbling Onix. Pearl and Verde on the other hand leapt in the opposite direction though a portion of the Minccino’s tail got caught in the ripping gales. She yelped, tiny paws clutching the appendage. Short rubs worked to ease the soreness.
The thick spray of nauseous gas coated a select area of the field. However, it wouldn’t stay for long, not with a near twenty foot tall rock monster barreling through it. Ultimately, both Stunky and Pidove were in danger of being run-over by their own teammate. With that much weight and momentum, Onix couldn’t simply stop on a dime and the poor rock-type was vulnerable to the haughty quadruped’s own poison. Eyes lighting up, the grass monkey passed Pearl a quick glance.
( Now’s our chance! )
Tawny paws found themselves to the simian’s fanged maw. After a moment’s pause, he began to hum a soft tune, a spray of bright-green leaves accompanying the skilled performance. They fluttered their way towards the Stunky, aiming to put the sassy poison-type to sleep. Realizing that now wasn’t the best opportunity to attack, Pearl figured that supporting her friends was the best idea. Cheering, an bright orange-yellow aura surrounded her form. A single beam sprouted from the dazzling haze of color, darting directly towards Verde. Soon, the grass-type felt a sudden onrush of power and he couldn’t help but give a menacing, toothy smile.
( Appreciate it Pearl! )
( Oh, you know I always love to help! )
Now, it was their turn.

Word Count: 500 Notes: Aqua uses Detect to avoid being crushed / poisoned / etc. Since Detect is an Uber Tactic, he cannot attack this round. Verde and Pearl dive to the side to avoid being pincered but Pearl still gets hit by Gust. Ultimately hope that Onix will pretty much run into the Poison Gas and end up poisoning himself. Also, since Pidove and Stunky are in the way and hidden by the poisonous cloud, maybe Onix will run over them too. Either way, Verde uses Grass-whistle in hopes of putting Stunky to sleep while Pearl uses Helping Hand on Verde. OOC: Mhmm. Colors: vitae aqua pearl verde
