{desc=Blitz Vs. Nora}Nora kept staring at Ice's Razor Claw in her hands. Ice just smirked to herself and kept flipping the claw between her fingers. Her mind had been on the future of her best friend ever since she bought the evolutionary item. Purposefully getting the room at night so that no matter what, she would at least be able to evolve, Nora sighed to herself and waited for her opponent.
"I am fairly sure this is the right thing. Proper ice moves can be taught through TM's..."
"If nothin' else, Lenny... I'm ready for it. I want this, okay? So quit second-guessing yerself!"
"If... you insist. I've just known you as a Sneasel for so long, it will take some getting used to seeing you grow up."
"Aaaaaah, quit gettin' sentimental already! I need to learn howta bust some heads, and I'm sure as heck gonna bust some harder at my peak, alright? Not like I'm tradin' much, right?"
"I... suppose you're right... but that's still a big change for me."

Upon closer look he noticed that the Sneasel was carrying a Razor Claw, an item that helped evolve the pokemon at night. And perfect timing! It was night right now in the trainer lounge, so he immediately came in to join her and her pokemon. "I see the Razor Claw. You must need a battle as soon as possible so the sun doesn't come up and ruin your opportunity. I can help you with that." He said as he took out his pokeball and threw it on the field, summoning his Growlithe to start. Sneasels were intriguing pokemon, he had captured one himself but he felt he had no use for it so he quickly traded it away to someone else. It wasn't too special to him, but he wondered how this trainer would do with it. So in other words, he also tried to test the trainer and see what she was made of. "Lets see how you handle your Sneasel." He said as his Growlithe let out an intimidating growl at first before the battle even started. "You go first." He said after. ::Growlithe:: Name: Cerberus | Level: 8 | Gender: Male Ability: INTIMIDATE | FLASH FIRE Attack Set 1: Bite | Ember | Body Slam Attack Set 2: Roar | Howl Sent out. Used Intimidate

((I'm likely to lose either way, so 1 v 1 to make it faster))
Both Nora and Ice cringed at the fire type in front of them. Ice just crossed her arms and sighed. Every battle they had come across around here was not in their favor. Oh well! Whomever said life was easy, right?
"Ice, use defensive tactics. Your speed is going to be your only chance with this thing."
At this point, it was moot to hide the fact that the Sneasel could speak. Too many had seen her do so already, and it was a testament to her teaching abilities, so they eventually stopped trying to hide things.
"Thank you Captain Obvious..."
Taking a defensive stance with her claws out, she smirked and started darting side to side in front of the Growlithe, trying to be able to dodge any oncoming fire attacks.
<What's up, wittle puppy? Awwwwww... did daddy feed you a Scooby Snack before comin' here?>
Using her Taunt to lock down any defensive tactics, she would wait until the dog himself attacked before laying down with a counter. If the dog got mad enough to attack with a melee, its defenses would likely be down enough to get a good hit. If it used Ember, it would rush past the attack and hit before he could fire another one off.

It angered Cerberus a bit as he continued to use his intimidate on his target even though it had no other effect after the first turn. Still, he was pissed that the Sneasel would taunt him so he could not help but growl at the pokemon. It was actually funny, he was a very loyal dog but at this instant he looked like a very stupid dog also. Blitz though, being a pokemorph was also negatively impacted by the taunt and he quickly clenched a fist as he wanted to get ready to punch the Sneasel himself. But he refrained from now as he had his Growlithe take the offensive. And his first move, he fell right into their trap as he called for what his opponent was waiting on. "Ember!" He said and the Growlithe shot a little fire ball at the Sneasel. Right as Cerberus used Ember though, he noticed that the Sneasel had gotten up to him fast enough to scratch him also. ((Ah... I see how confusing that was... Ice takes action depending on the situation, I guess. Uhm... we'll just say that it was that round.))
Keeping her arms up did little to take the sting of the super-effective move, but the longer she would stay still, the longer the burn would be on her. Though not burned for lingering damage, her arms were pretty toasted as she made her first swipe and decided to stay at close quarters with the pup.
Sure, he'd have a point-blank shot, but up close she could hit him back much more easily. Stepping side to side, bobbing and weaving, she looked him dead in the eye and her eyes flashed with a Leer attack before attempting to scratch him again.
Nora never gave a command, knowing that the sneasel had common sense in her fighting. A part of her knew it would be a matter of time before she was overpowered by the flames, but this trainer would remember the two of them.
<Nyaaa! I ain't going down without a fight!>
Faking a shot to the face with her Scratch attack, she aimed for the dog's leg, trying to hamstring him, trying to keep him from moving around too much. If he couldn't turn around as easily, she could attack from behind.

The leer from the Sneasel struck Cerberus as he felt a bit intimidated from the move and began to shake and shiver a bit. Next came the scratch which completely threw him off. He covered his fast when it looked like the Sneasel was going for it, but when it changed targets and swatted at his legs, he found one of his paws give out and he fell to the ground, too hurt at the moment to get back up. Luckily the attack did not hurt as bad as it could have. He might have had his defense dropped by leer, but the Sneasel had to deal with an intimidate already. That helped a bit, and the level advantage also helped. "Alright. Now Bite." Blitz said. The taunt stopped having an impact on him now, but he knew Cerberus would still be under the effects for two more turns. And Cerberus, who had trouble moving after getting hit in the leg used the close proximity to his advantage as he tried to take a bit out of the Sneasel's leg. ::Growlithe:: (-1 defense) Name: Cerberus | Level: 8 | Gender: Male Ability: INTIMIDATE | FLASH FIRE Attack Set 1: Bite | Ember | Body Slam Attack Set 2: Roar | Howl Hit by Leer and Scratch Used Bite

Yeah, having those big chompers in front of her was quite intimidating, but she thought in vain that the bite wouldn't do much damage to her. Damage, no, but the mutt hit her right in the kneecap! Yipping out in pain, she flinched, unable to make a decent attack.
Nora sighed... she had not gotten much mercy in these trainer battles, but she was learning well none-the less.
All Ice could do was hop backwards, trying to get out of the maw of the dog. Her speed was now useless and all it would take was one more fire attack to finish her.

Blitz looked at the trainer and became really intrigued when he saw that her pokemon had flinched from the bite attack. The move did not do much damage to the Sneasel at all seeing how she was part dark herself, but the level advantage of the pup looked to be simply too much for the opponent as Blitz was readying himself for the finale now. "Ember." He said, ready to end it with one quick move. He then looked at Nora and gave her a blank stare. Was she trying to lose on purpose? He saw the quick claw so it seemed she just wanted to evolve the Sneasel. And she felt the best way was in a battle where the pokemon would be severely disadvantaged and would likely lose. Because it took less effort to lose sometimes than it did to win. She definitely did not look to be TD material. Nor did she even look to deserve her own pokemon. ::Growlithe:: (-1 defense) Name: Cerberus | Level: 8 | Gender: Male Ability: INTIMIDATE | FLASH FIRE Attack Set 1: Bite | Ember | Body Slam Attack Set 2: Roar | Howl Used Ember
