The Marill let out a squeal as the Yanma crashed into her. She tumbled backwards, but she rolled back onto her paws and gave herself a shake before glaring up at the Yanma. She took a deep breath, then let loose with another Water Gun attack.
Chloe blinked at her Marcee took control of the battle. She didn't mind, as it was a bit easier on her during a double battle. She turned her attention to her more patient Doduo. "Quick Attack this time!"
Twizzer squawked and bunched his muscles, then he sprang at the male Yanma with great speed, speed that matched and maybe even surpassed the female Yanma. No one was gauging the speeds, though, so that would remain unknown.

Suddenly, the female fell back from the attack, only to twirl to the ground and crash into the dirt thus, fainting. This scared the male as he dodged the attack sent towards him but, instead of attacking back, he ran away.

Chloe smiled and her Pokémon returned to her side. She fished in her pack until she came out with a Pokeball in her hands, then she enlarged the little ball and tossed it at the Yanma. Good! The female! She had been planning on catching the female anyway. Marcee sat down, panting. It had been a tough day for the little Marill, and she hoped that she wouldn't have to bother with any more battles for a few hours, but Twizzler seemed to only have a few ruffled feathers.

The sphere flew through the air, like a bullet and landed on the Yanma arcing perfectly to bouce off the still as death pokemon. The pokeball laid on the ground next to the flying type and snapped open to releaese a red burst of light that absorbed the pokemon in with ease.
The female settled in fairly easily, not really caring about escaping since her male friend had abandonded her. A soft could be heard from inside the ball as the Yanma accepted her fate. The ball beeped quietly to show that the pokemon had been succesfully captured.
Congrats you have captured a Yanma!
Species: Yanma Gender: ::female:: Ability: {Speed Boost} Level: 11 Attacks: Tackle, Foresight, Double Team, Quick Attack
A bush with only two beautifully blossoming roses stood nearby the trainer and a soft humming could be heard coming from the deep red and oddly blue rose on the bush. It was rather curious. Especially since it was winter now and a thin layer of frost coated the ground.
It was by far not the weather for roses to be thriving in.
On closer expection it would be a Roselia, resting against the bush, eyes closed peacfully as her arms interwined with the branches of the shrub. A soft melody escaped the lips of the grass-type. It sounded rather familiar.
Jingle Bells perhaps?

Chloe smiled and Twizzler trotted over to the Ball and snapped it up in his beak before bringing it back to his trainer. He knew she couldn't walk much after practically falling out of that tree earlier.
"Thanks, Twizz. I think I'll call her Sapphire," she said as the Ball disappeared. She only wanted six Pokemon at a time in her party and she already had a full set. There was no where else for her new Pokemon to go.
Twizzler looked over at the sound and let out a little coo, since birds can't really growl. Or can they? I've never heard a bird growl. But I digress. The sound caught Chloe's attention and she followed his gaze.
She thought she recognized those pair of roses and she pulled out her Pokedex. It indeed told her it was a Roselia and she smiled brightly. A Roselia! How delightful!
Chloe got to her feet and walked toward the bush. She didn't want to attack the Pokemon if she didn't have to. It looked so delightfully happy laying there and singing its little tune. Twizzler followed after his trainer, looking upset that she was walking.
"Hey there! That's a lovely tune," she said. She tried not to speak loud in case she startled the Pokemon.

The Roselia was strangely at peace even though the wind was cold and bound to make the lightly clad grass type shiver. Instead she seemed totally immune to the chill, except at the sound of the appraoching pokemon, a small frown creased her features the soft melody of her tune was now slightly off as if she was distracted.
As the trainer appraoached, the Roselia snapped her eyes open with a small gasp and surveyed the trainer gazing at her. She blinked warily for a few moments, before smiling, and untwining herself from the bush. <Oh. Well, thank you.> she said, streaching her budded limbs.
<I was acaully doing some Yoga. It was very relaxing. It blocks out the cold, and you get total mental clearity. Would you like me to show you? You get stronger if you try it. I've gained a level from learning this.> she said, before closing her eyes and stilling her body completely.
<Your senses are heightened.> she added, before motioning off to a bush in the corner. <There is a sleeping Pidgey there. Don't disturb it though. It will ruin the mood.> she said, before glancing at the Doduo. <So what do you say? Want to give it a shot?>

Chloe and Twizzler shared glances, then they turned back to the Roselia. Chloe smiled at her. "Well, I can give it a try. Not sure how well I can do it, though," she said, slightly lifting her cane to explain without words.
Twizzler, however, nodded. {Oh, I will try. I need to get stronger,} he said, scraping at the ground with one of his talons. He glanced over where the Pidgey was supposedly lying. He hopes this "yoga" business wouldn't wake it. Not like he couldn't handle the bird, though.

The Roselia let out a serene smile as she slowly made her way towards the two. She glanced at the two, one trainer and one pokemon. <This will work nicely.> she hummed, before turning swiftly and striding away to stand by her bush once more.
<This might streach your leg out a bit too, it's probably a bit stiff.> she added to Chloe. She faced the two and quickly gave out a series of orders. <Find a sturdy tree, sit by it and do what I do.> she said, choosing to lean against her bush.
After they accomplished this task, she quickly began, closing her eyes and humming a quiet tune. She leaned back, arching her back until her head rested against the ground, arms placed on either side of her head. <Mhmm. Now empty your mind of all things, ignore the pain. Think of nothing. Only black, more black and black.> she added, looking completely at peace.

Chloe bit her bottom lip, looking unsure, but she did as she was asked and sat down by a tree, leaning against it. Twizzler looked around, then trotted over to another tree and sat by it, giving off a small little squawk as one of the ones continued to glance around.
Once the two were comfortable, the two assumed the same post the Roselia was in. Chloe felt like a total nub and thought for sure anyone who saw her would think she was going insane or something. At least Twizzler was doing it, too.
Shaking her head slightly, feeling even more silly, Chloe decided to hum, too. She mimicked the tune Roselia was making, but she couldn't quite clear her mind like she was being asked. All she could think was how silly she must look. She was glad that her leg hadn't started to hurt.
Twizzler, however, was completely into it. He was cooing quietly to himself and wasn't thinking about a single thing. Except the word black. . . He thought the Roselia actually meant think of black. Not the brightest bulb in the pack, is he?

The Roselia smiled as the soothing hum of the trainer joined in, sounding a bit unsure and quiet, but there nonetheless. The Doduo was quite into it however, the cooing noise he was making matching her voice perfectly. She was about to comend him, <Very nice job Twi-> she was quickly cut off by a loud squawking.
A rather large Pidgey stumbled out of a bush that happened to be directly by the Doduo's head and screamed madly. <WHAT IS ALL THIS RACKET?> Blinded by fury and irritated beyond belief the bird Tackled the Doduo's head.
The Roselia frowned, but didn't move from her spot. <Oh dear. This is not restful. Let's continue.> she said, before closing her eyes and continuing her yoga, winding her legs up past her head. Not something any normal pokemon or trainer could do.

Twizzler let out a loud squawk as the Pidgey went off. He jumped to his talons, but was still Tackled by the Pidgey. He staggered back, lowering both heads and scraping the ground with both his talons. One at a time, of course.
{Hey! I was meditating or whatever!} he declared angrily, dashing at the Pidgey for a Quick Attack. He was going to show that stupid bird why he shouldn't have tackled him!
Chloe opened her eyes and blinked as she saw that her Doduo had gotten into a fight. She looked over at the Roselia, and she didn't seem to be at all bothered by the fight. She was pretty much like a pretzel right then, unperturbed.
She sighed and supervised the battle. She hoped the Roselia wouldn't run off, she would have liked to catch her. She liked Roselia. They were a good species.

Getting struck by the Quick Attack, the Pidgey ended up being trampled by Twizzler's foot. Dust kicking up all around her throat, the bird squaked in complaint as she struggled back onto her two feet. Her feathers were now bathed in a layer of dirt and snow, a rather uncomfortable feeling for a sophisticated bird like her.
She had to buy herself some time if she wanted to get back into the air. The Doduo was fast. And that Quick Attack could easily attack her before she could get flying into the skies. Using a Sand Attack on one of the Doduo's heads to try and cause some type of a delay in her opponents next attack, she climbed up into the sky.
With her wings freely working and her body having escaped harm, she was free to dodge most of Twizzler's attacks. She was up where he couldn't reach her. The knowledge of that was in her mind as she used a weak Gust on the Doduo, hoping to wear him out before diving down to attack later on.

Twizzler let out a squawk as his left face was smacked with the gritty material. It shook furiously, squawking and stomping around in the dirt while his free head tried to get some control over its body.
His right head looked up at the bird and narrowed his eyes. He opened his beak and let out a loud call, then dodged around the Gust attack while his other head continued to shake in order to free his eyes from the sand.
Twizzler bunched his muscles after recieving no command from his trainer and leapt high into the air, hopefully high enough to Peck the annoying little bird. He couldn't fly, but the Doduo was hoping that he could jump high enough to at least get part of the Pidgey.

Pidgey couldn't help but smirk at the odd scene before him, he might be many social classes above this pokemon, but he was a sucker for comedy. And, holy crap, that bird was pure comedy. Chortling, the pidgey was rather startled by the loud squawk the Doduo made.
He glanced down to see one head glaring at him, he glared right back, scoffing at the puny brains of Doduo's. Although they probably shared a brain so the intellegence was most likely split between the pokemon.
The Pidgey had slowly dipped lower steadily as the Doduo waited for a command from it's trainer, recieving none, the pokemon acted on it's own, prodding the Pidgey to retreat to the skies. However, he had underestimated how high the flightless pokemon could jump and was quickly dragged down.
Angered, and trapped on the ground, he quickly whirled up a Gust, hoping the vortex would distract the bird enough for him to get flightborn again.

Chloe tore her attention away from the Roselia and forced herself to watch the battle so she could aide her Pokemon. She kept peeking at the Pokemon next to her, hoping that the Grass type wouldn't run off. Boy, she wouldn't like that.
"Quick Attack!" Chloe commanded. She thought that maybe she should switch out Pokemon to give her others some practice, but she knew Twizzler would want to get some revenge on the Pokemon for attacking without provocation.
Twizzler was blasted with the Gust of wind. He let out an angry squawk and dug into the ground with his talons, but he was almost swept off his feet. It took all he could just keep standing upright.
Then he got an idea. He turned and used Quick Attack, running with the wind and adding to the speed. Going with the wind lessened the damage he took, then he turned abruptly and shot out around the Gust attack before leaping as high as he could toward the Pidgey, hoping to run it down.

The Roselia had not moved from her pretzel formation, her eyes closed, grace and serenity written all over her expression. Slowly, she unwound herself, beforepulling her self up and standing on her head, without any help or support. Even as the Gust whistled by, she remained unmoving. <Now, balance. Find your center.> she said, not paying any mind to the battle.
The Pidgey had barely even left the ground, his wings extended for take-off, when he heard a faint whistling. It sounded like something was coming towards him at an accelerated speed. Fear seizing the flying-type he attempted to get up into the sky as fast as possible. He failed however and simpily got trampled on by the quickly moving Doduo.
With an angered squawk, the Pokémon got an idea. The Doduo had so much speed that it was still going fast. If it had a Gust attack behind it, it would be propelled so far. An evil glint in the pokemon's eye he with a caw, used Gust at the back of the Doduo.

Twizzler started to slow down when he felt the Pidgey beneath his talons. He began to turn around to come again, but then the Gust slammed right into him. He let out a startled squawk and he tumbled backwards, falling head over talons until he slammed into a tree.
He was dazed, but he got back up, wincing. He had a huge bruise now, but that Pidgey was not going to get away with that. He let out an angry squawk that doubled for a Growl attack. He didn't want to take another strong hit, so he wanted to weaken his foe.
"Quick Attack," Chloe commanded. It was apparent the Roselia was not going anywhere, so she turned her attention to the battle her Doduo was in. That was more important now. She would keep her attention half-focused on the rose Pokémon.
The Doduo let out another squawk before charging yet again at the Pidgey. He wasn't going to let this infuriating little bird-brain ruin his day. . . No! He was going to show that pest what kind of mistake it had made by attacking him!

[[Whoa! I'm back and I'm on a rampage! ]]
The Roselia muttered, something under her breath, slightly irritated that the racket was continuing and the trainer and pokemon were not listening to her. Taking a deep breath, the grass-type smoothed her expression out and removed any traces of anger or frustration. <My dear friends, I must insist that you proceed with the training excersises. Pay the Pidgey no mind.> she said, her voice as silky and coaxing as a warm blankie in this weather.
The Pidgey mearly squawked angrily at the Roselia's calm facade. <We are in a battle you oblivious pokemon!>
The Pidgey with glee, soared into the air, and watched from his mid-air point as the Doduo slammed into a tree. The Pidgey winced slightly, although they may be opponents, hell, that had to hurt. The Pidgey cooed slightly in protest as he felt his attack power weaking as a result of the growl.
The flying type, tried to fly away from the attack, the Doduo's speed was already great and with the added boost of the Quick Attack, the Pidgey was smacked into the ground. His breath was knocked forcfully out of his lungs and he smoothed his ruffled feathers before returning to the air. With a cry of anger, the poemon lunged at the Doduo with a Gust attack.

Chloe gave the Roselia a dubious look. "Sorry if we're bothering you. I don't think Twizzler is going to stop until that Pidgey is unconscious. I'd continue. . . But I'm pretty sure I'm not as flexible as you," she muttered.
Twizzler tumbled across the ground as the Pidgey used its Gust attack. He landed flat on his back and felt horribly dazed. He struggled to his feet, shaking both of his heads, then glared at the Pidgey. He looked back at the Roselia and muttered an apology. He wanted to continue with the exercises, but the Pidgey was being a horrible distraction.
{I'm rying to meditate!} he screeched angrily. Again he used Quick Attack, but he needed to get higher, so he ran at a tree first. The doduo leapt at the tree, pushed off with his talons, then launched himself at the bird Pokemon, turning into a blur as he sailed through the air.

The Roselia seemed oblvious to the speaking trainer, but at the mention of Chloe not being as flxiable as the grass pokemon, she flinched. With one smooth movement, she untangled herself and slid to the ground gracefully before glaring at the trainer with hidden determination. <Everyone can do this! You're just not trying hard enough! If you have the will, you can perform extraordinary things.> she shouted, marching over to the trainer, her rosebufs waving wildly.
<You better listen up or I'm shoving you into a much more difficult postiotion that I was doing.> she added, not the same pokemon that she once was, her eyes had a bit more flame in it and she was no longer mellow. With forceful hands she lifted the trainer until she was on her head, leaning against a tree. <There. Now point one leg straight up in the air and balance.> the Roselia commanded, looking like she would inflict pain on anyone that didn't listen to her.
The Roselia waved off the flightless pokemon, he had the spirit and she knew he would do his best once he finished off that dratted bird. Right now, she was concerned about the trainer whose spirits seemed dreadfully low.
The Pidgey was looking at the trainer and grass pokemon, clearly a bit confused about the demanding pokemon. He hovered for a moment in the air watching and examining the odd interactions between the two.
The pokemon scoffed and turned away, he couldn't imagine talking or instructing a trainer in such a kind manner like that. With a small scoff of distain he turned to the battle. Oh great. That dratted bird was running the wrong way. Not only was he weak, but he was stupid. The Pidgey was about to shout out something only to feel his legs go weak and his beak snap together as the pokemon pushed off of the tree and flew owards him at a great speed.
A squawk of pain escaped from the pokemon's beak and he fell to the ground with a painful thud, angered he spun around and faced off with the bird. <Well! I was sleeping!> he retorted before lunging at the pokemon with a supposed Tackle, but then shot off a Gust attack.
