The sky was perfect, crystal blue, matching the color of Clara's hair perfectly. The fifteen year old smiled, enjoying the nice weather while it was still here. She noticed that some of the trees, while they still had all their leaves on the branches were starting to turn from deep green into golden-red hues.
Clarissa let a small sigh escape her lips, she loved summer, it was her favorite season. She would miss it, but Skye would be glad. The heat of the sun was too much for the legendary at times. The coldness that radiated off of her was a pleasant addition at times though.
Clarissa gazed up at the large steel arch in front of her and quickly stepped though, she wanted her pokemon to become stronger before the Gym Leader Battle.
Matching blue eyes, scanned areas where possible pokemon could be. She quickly released her Stunky, Styu and strolled around the area, before deciding to head down into tunnel, it was probably once a subway.
It seemed deserted, wonder why?

From along the side of the wall, the tunnel grew longer and longer, the surrounding darkness became vaster, almost suffocating both trainer and both as they innocently walked through it. The sun’s light from the edge of the tunnel grew fainter and fainter into the distance, until only darkness remained.
But they were not alone. No, they weren’t alone in the least. For a pair of emotionless eyes stood in the shelter of the darkness, easily hearing the footsteps of the two as they walked closer and closer. Even it had reason to fear the place it lived in, for a predator could easily shot out of nowhere and eat it right up.
The will to survive put a protective shield around the Voltorb, hiding it from any emotion as it lived in the deepest depths of the tunnel. It was a life style t hat focused primarily on the darkness; it lived by it, and feared it all the same. It wasn’t able to pinpoint directly where the group was, but in its fright it shot out a Sonic Boom from the distance, fierce sound waves were launched at both Styu and Clarissa. It was terribly loud in these echoing tunnels, as if a train was going to ram through the area before (hopefully) striking the duo. All it wanted to do was get rid of them, and be alone once more.

[[ Haha. About time I posted. xP ]]
Clarissa looked worridly about her as the vast darkness grew heavier, almost threatening to suffocated her very being. The solid steel of the tunnel looked very massive, and almost alive the way the shadows of her moved slickly across the walls. Deformed, her shadow moved with her and as the darkness grew to unbareable proportions untill soon all was black.
Clarissa may have been a frightened girl, but she was determined to see what lay in the depths. The azure-haired girl gripped the railing along the side of the tunnel as if it was her thread back to the real world and in a way... it was. If she got disorientened in here, she would be trapped.
Meanwhile, Styu was doing just fine having the handy gift of night vision and as he waddled next to the girl he noticed a slight movement out of his eye, it looked like a rather large pokeball. Concerned, he appraoched it, but with out warning the ball attacked, sending out massive, painful sound waves that nearly bowled in over. Stumbling around dazed, the Stunky was now Confused.
Clarissa let out a small girlish scream as the thinderous echoing clanged around the tunnel before fading away. Panting frantically, Clarissa dug around in her bag, having an brilliant idea. Bradishing a black flashlight, she quickly flicked it on locating the Stunky and the Voltorb without a problem. The light illuminated the small space enough to see both of the Pokémon.
Angered by the sudden attack, Clarissa quickly snapped out orders, oblvious to the fact that her Stunky was confused. "Styu! Scratch!"
The Stunky managed to clear it's mind long enough to charged towards the electric pokemon, claws at the ready to scrape against the metal skin of the Pokémon.

OOC: Sonicboom causing Confusion? That's a new one. BIC:
The Voltorb didn’t react very positively to the series of scratch attacks against its unusual body, feeling more like the protection of a plastic action figure than anything metallic. It also left it with the illusion of never feeling pain, which was both a blessing and a curse. Never being able to sense when your own body was about to collapse, not a very enjoyable prospect.
Its anger was rising with the thought of being attacked back, this wasn’t ending the way it had had planned at all. As each slash went across its body, it started to Charge up electrical energy. Mysteriously, its special defense was raised slightly in the process. The energy from within was faintly seen on the outside with the shape of slithering sparks across its body. It only magnified the chances of being affected by the Static ability, so until this move had ended, it wasn’t safe to even get near the thing.

ooc;; Oh. Uh. Urm. Shush. xP Please, a short reply, I don't want to put effort into my replies. And if you do then I have too. LAZY TIME ^^
BIC//
Styu spotted the small electrical sparks around the angered spherical Pokémon. His tawny eyes darted up and down, looking over the quaking figure nervously. Yeah. No way was he going near that thing.
Clarissa frowned at her pokemon's reluctance to attack, but could understand why, the Pokémon was crackling like an ticking bomb. It make her quite nervous indeed. She reached into her coat pockets and drew out another ball. Enlargening it, she quickly tossed out Hinnu.
The Swablu flapped her cloud-like wings gracefully, and looked to the trainer for instruction. "Sing!" Clarissa commanded quickly and the bird Pokémon obliged. A smoothing tune escaped from her throat, thick and velvetly, ready to sink any listening Pokémon into a deep slumber. Styu was looking rather dazed, and Clara called him back before he could sink into a deep sleep.

[Ooc: mod coin yay] [Ooc: I'll try to be shortish in this for you xD]
A Swablu, such a peaceful Pokemon and oh so soft, soft like clouds. Which was the exact thought of the Voltorb that was now drifting off to sleep. Though this sleep wouldn't last long, the song of Swablu had placed this ball-like Pokemon into a slumber that would last for a turn or two; better hurry.

[[ Thankies! ^^ ]]
Swablu chirped cheerfully, finishing the end of her melody. She quickly attacked the Voltorb with an Peck Attack, hopefully putting a dent into the plastic type ball. Clarissa then tossed a pokeball, hoping the status condition and the damage would be enough for the Voltorb to be captured.

Clarrisa plucked up the still pokeball and thought of the simliar pokemon inside. She smiled and kissed the pokeball, before whispering. "Welcome to the team." Slipping the sphere inside her pocket she stroked the cottony material of Hinnu, praising her, before returning her as well.
Holding onto the flashlight, she continued her way down into the depths of the Power Plant. Clarissa had found that electric types were usually all fun and play, but Platik was the exception. She wanted to see if that really was true or if it was just her imagination and wishful thinking.
Poking around, she glanced into a few rooms, only finding them to be deserted, shadows were lurking everywhere nearby due to the beam of her flashlight. The whole scene was rather creepy, and Clarissa released Hinnu once again finding her presence soothing. The Swablu was quiet as the pair explored, but she suddenly perked up as if she heard something and quickly flew into a nearby room.
Clarissa followed, curious and her flashlight scanned the room searching for what had the Swablu so interested.

A soft crash came from a nearby room. The image inside wasn't that pleasant. A magnemite had crashed into a metal chair and now it's magnets made it stuck on the chair. It wiggled but to no prevail. <HEEEEELP> It shouted into the air though it couldn't see if anyone was coming. All it saw was the sealing seeing how the chair fell to the ground from the impact.

Clarissa heard a faint crash, and quickly whirled around to dart into another room, her Swablu following close behind. Clarissa was looking around at the many doors cursing softly, she wasn't going to be able to find whatever made that sound. Hesitently, she started for a door, and a loud scream for help quickly made her yank open the doorway and rush inside, worry clear on her face.
Although Clarissa was a caring human being, she was just that, human. So at the sight of the rotating Magnemite, stuck to the chair, she couldn't help but to stifle her giggles. Hastily she calmed herself, knowing she woudn't want someone to be laughing at her when she was in a helpless position. "It's okay. I'm going to help." Clarissa said, before approaching the chair.
She gripped the Magnemite carefully and tugged with all her might. Panting, exhusted, she sighed. "You're stuck on there good." she said, before calling out her Drifloon. "Hey Cloud. Want to try to get thatMagnemite off the chair?" she questioned.
Her male Drifloon bristled at the use of his name. <Don't call me that!> he hissed, before grabbing the Magnemite with his appendadges and tugged.

[Ooc: Yay Mod coin!]
The Magnemite was stuck on there pretty good that's for sure, and being as clumsy as he was, it didn't look like that he was going to get off there easily. Frustrated, the Magnemite grew angry with himself and struggled, even with the Driftloon and trainer helping him and as a stress relief, Magnemite let out a loud Metal sound attack, which would only lower special defense but, was extremely loud none the less.
Magnemite used Metal Sound!

Clarissa was now holding the chair and pulling at it from one side her face turning a strange red with the effort she was putting into it. Meanwhile the Drifloon was yanking on the electric type quickly growing frustrated. The pair were working, acually breaking a sweat, to try and free the Magemite.
The Driftloon let out a strangled cry as the Metal sound was released mere inches from his eardrums. He released the the pokemon, at the same time Clarissa dropped the chair to cover her ears a pained expression on her face. Both ears were ringing and Clarissa couldn't really think straight. Letting out a pained sigh, she leaned against the wall and put her head between her knees.
The Drifloon meanwhile had a throbbing headache and was pissed at the Magemite so glad that the pokemon was pinned down, he began to use Astonish striking the pinned down pokemon and letting out a frighning high pitched cry at the end to try and flinch the opponent into ot attacking.

Magnemite, struggling as it was to get off and flee from the battle, was effectively hit with astonish. Crying out some in pain, Magnemite flinched from making another move. It seemed that it may be impossible to get him off the metal so, making him faint would of been the next best idea but, with all the pain, why would you want to harm him?
Magnemite is Flinching!

Watching from behind a box Elijah gave a soft snort, she never understood the point to Trainers capturing and battling Pokemon. It seemed pointless to her and stupid as well. But her intrests were peeked and she couldn't help but watch. As the battles went by Eli felt something building in her and after a long moment she finally realized what it was.
'Oh no....don't sneeze....don't sneeze...don't sneeze...crud...'
"SANDSLASH!"
Eli sneeze was rather loud and made her eyes water and she staggered slightly out into the open. She shook her head and breathed in deeply before freezing and looking to the Trainer and Pokemon. "Sand..." 'Oh dear....'
((Hope I did that right....^^'))

[[You did great! Now does your Sandslash want to join my team or just roam around or what? ]]
Clarissa groaned in frustration, annoyed that her Drifloon wasn't listening to her and that the Magnemite was being stupid and attacking them when they were trying to help. She still had a splitting headache too! Sighing, Clarissa scooted away from the purple balloon-type pokemon and rested herself against some boxes watching the shadows change on the wall vaguely.
She was resting quietly watching as her pokemon continued to battle it out with the trapped Magnemite. Suddendly and explosive 'SANDSLASH' could be heard right beside her. Letting out a small scream, Clarissa whipped around to gaze at the boxes form which the sound came.
Spotting a small figure stumble out, Clarissa smiled at the slightly dazed pokemon. "Hello there! Bless you! That was quite a sneeze" Clarissa exclaimed, examining the pokemon. "You must be a Sandslash then? Right? I'm not the best with pokemon yet." she said, before rolling her eyes. "Although I'm sure you already know that by my ability to control my pokemon." she added.
The Drifloon had no problem attacking a trapped pokemon it made his job much easier. So he attacked the electric and steel type with a Constrict hoping to weaken the pokemon enough so that Clarissa could capture it like she wants to do with every pokemon she sees.

((Not sure if I'm still allowed to post here cause that violation scares me a bit, I thought I was allowed to post here since you said I could Sunny? I don't want to get in trouble after just joining. And sure, she can join your team if you want.))
Eli froze as the girl spoke to her, her claws at the ready if need be. But as Clarissa spoke Elijah realized that she didn't want to hurt her, just talk to her. Hesitating for a moment, not sure if the girl understood her Elijah said, "Slash sand." Which ment 'thank you', since Clarissa had said bless you.
Looking to the Drifloon Eli raised an eye ridge and looked back to Clarissa with a funny look. The Magnemite was just stuck there, why not leave it alone? Eli didn't understand but just ignored it, it wasn't any of her business.
After a thought Elijah extended her claw out towards the girl, in means of a friendly greeting. "Sandslash, sand sandslash." Elijah was irratated with herself, she wasn't sure if the girl could understand her or not.

[[Oh, it's just fine. Don't worry, I talked to one of the admins. It's fine as long as the owner of the board is willing and I am so. ^^ ]]
Clarissa smiled at the ground-type, liking the way the Sandslash had curved quils or spines, she wasn't sure. They looked dangerous, but at the same time, the gleamed in the dim light down in the dark space. "You know... your quils look really nice. Sharp though." she said, before pulling out her metalic pink pokedex and pointing it at the Sandslash.
Sandslash, evolved form of Sanshrew. Ground-type. It curls up, then rolls into their opponents with it's back. It's sharp spines inflict severe damage.
After obtaining the needed information, Clarissa snapped the pokedex shut, and smiled at the pokemon. "You don't seem dangerous. Are you?" she asked, before extending her hand to grasp the Sandslash's carefully. She grinned. "It's nice to have someone to talk to." she said, glad she was able to understand pokespeech.

(Pokespeech, thank you! So much easier.)
At the comments about her quils Elijah couldn't help but look at them and smile. Though she wasn't exactly strong she was rather proud of how her quils looked. Eli took good care of herself in every way.
<Thank you, I'm quite proud of them. And yes they are, I keep them sharp incase I ever need to battle. Plus they don't get caught in dirt as easily.>
She looked to the PokeDex and listened to the word, tilting her head slightly. Nodding in agreement to the words Eli curled up into a large spikey ball that looked pretty deadly indeed. After a moment she uncurled herself and let her spines fall back, closer to her body since she didn't feel the human would hurt her.
<I'm only dangerous if you disturb my burrow when I'm asleep, and my burrow is far from here so I'm not in the least dangerous. And yes it is nice to talk to someone.> Eli paused for a moment then asked. <Who are you?>

OOC: Sorry Sunny. ^^' I never really read the thread, so I assumed that there wasn't a battle going on. BIC: While flinching in its spot, the Magnemite was completely trapped under the Drifloon’s command. His two stringy limbs were like two wires straight from a fishing pole, trying to bend pure steel. Though it was relatively painless, it was still trapped. Trying to pull away from its constricting binds, it really didn’t care if it ended up dragging the Drifloon along for a ride.
<Off! Now!> It shrieked with static tickling the ends of its two limbs, magnets that naturally repelled the other. So it was actually impossible for the two to be close to the other, depending on the way they were rotated. If that little shock wasn’t warning enough for Cloud, then the next attack would be.
There wasn’t much thought going through its hard head, and there wasn’t a need to be thinking strategy. All it knew was that when it got frustrated, there was nothing better than giving an enemy a good shock. With more electrical energy gathering up around its two magnets, it unleashed a short Thundershock in an attempt to free itself.
