Sora cheered. It was her first capture. "Isn't this great Paras," she asked happily. She was going to send it out but then she remembered that Hoppip could be blown away in the wind and she didn't want to lose her Pokemon. Instead she held the Pokeball up to her Pokedex and pressed a button on the latter.
The same voice as always came on and began to speak. "Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokemon. It is said that these Pokemon travel to the mountains and fields before Spring. They are so light that they have to link the leaves on their heads with each other to stop themselves from being blown away,".

In a tall tree sat a Aipom, He was eating an apple at the time enjoying the scenery. The air, the leaves on the tree, the way the clouds moved, everything felt absolutely perfect to him. A sharp electronic voice when shooting through his ears. It said something about cottonweed and Aipon hand no clue to what that was. He made his way down the branches using only his tail to navigate through, until he made his way to the lowest branch of the tree which was not far from Sora. The noise was made from some sort of electronic device Sora had. It was actually quite shiny looking and Aipom loved shiny things. He sat for a few moments on the tree branch, transfixed by the Pokedex. After a few more seconds he was ready. Now was his time, his time to get the shiny thing. he threw himself off the branch towards the Pokedex, snatching it with his tail. He landed on the ground perfectly and turned around toward the trainer. He stuck his tongue out and ran toward the bushes.

Sora squealed in fright as the Aipom stole the Pokedex from her hands. She glared at it as it ran off. "Come on Paras," she called and took off running. Paras just about managed to keep up on its short legs. Sora ran through the bushes, ignoring the twigs and branches.
Paras scurried after her, ducking under the few branches that were low enough to hit her. She groaned inwardly. Stupid Aipom. Doesn't it know not to steal from trainers. she thought angrily. It wasn't easy running on such short legs but she had to help Sora.

Aipom scurried hastily up one of the nearby trees, sitting down on the branch and investigating the metallic pokédex. He chewed a corner before pressing random buttons. It suddenly began to talk in it's genderless voice, making Aipom drop it, hastily catching it again and hitting it angrily, silencing it. He chattered noisily.

Sora stopped at the base of the tree and watched in horror as the Aipom seemingly tried to break her Pokedex. Realizing she had to do something, she decided to try team play. She sent out Hoppip, being careful to hold him down when the wind blew.
"OK Paras, Hoppip, here's the plan. Paras, you use Sweet Scent to make it come down. If it leaves the Pokedex up there, which it probably will since it doesn't want us to take it back, I'll hold Hoppip until the wind is about right and when I let go, he'll float up there and hang on to the branch. When all wind dies down, he'll walk along the branch, still holding on tightly, and knock my Pokedex down to my hands." she whispered.
The two Pokemon nodded and Paras crept to the trunk of the tree while Sora carried Hoppip off to th other side of the tree. Sora nodded and Paras let out a burst of Sweet Scent, struggling not to get distracted by his own flowery smell.

The Aipom was about to attempt to smash the Pokédex against the branch, when a sweet smell filled it's nostrils. The pungent aroma was emanating from down on the ground, and it smelled sweet and attractive. Placing the strange shiny thing on the branch, so nobody would steal it, Aipom clambered down and went in search of the aromatic smell. It seemed to be coming from an orange rock, with red mushrooms on top... How strange. Aipom slowly walked up to the rock, placed one hand on one of the mushrooms, and attempted to tear it off. Anything that smelt this good must taste great! He had deduced.
Meanwhile, a slight breeze had picked up, but it was blowing slightly to the left, and the tree was on Hoppip's right. The wind seemed to have to inclination of changing, so the only way to get the Pokédex might have to be to climb up. The Pokédex shook in the heavy breeze. If the wind picked up any more, it was bound to fall. And the tree's branches only started about halfway up, to far for any human to climb.

Sora frowned. Maybe her plan wasn't going to work. She had to think of some way to get one of her Pokemon up there. Paras might be able to climb up but then Aipom would follow him. Unless the Pokemon switched places. Sora snapped her fingers as she thought of it. "Hoppip, you distract Aipom somehow and hopefully Paras will take the opportunity to climb up the tree," she whispered.

Aipom watched as the Hoppip float in front of it giving him a warm smile. Aipom scratched its head in confusion, why was the sweet scent going away and why was there a balloon in front of him. "BALLOON!" He though to himself in complete joy, he grabbed the Hoppip by the top of its head and immediately carried it back to its storage (which was the tree) climbing his way up to it.
He sat himself in the tree and placed the balloon in his tail....hand thing. He went to grab the Pokedex but it was gone! His shiny talking machine was gone. Paris was now scurrying away towards its trainer. He sighed as if he had just lost a very close friend, never to find him again........"Oh well" he thought to himself as he whipped his new Balloon out and started to squeeze it's frail body.

Hoppip wailed in pain as the Aipom squeezed it. Sora saw this and tried to figure out what to do. Finally, she made a decision and shouted up, "Hoppip! Use Synthesis! When you glow it might let go of you and look away from the light so that will be your chance to escape!".
Immediately Hoppip began to glow. He hoped he could glow bright enough because he didn't want to spend life as a squeeze toy.

<Hey! Talking Balloons?> The Aipom questioned, holding out the pink balloon in front of him to get a better look at the thing. Using its weaker arms, it gave a gentle squeeze to see if the same thing would happen again. What happened before, will happen once more! That was some pretty good reasoning, until the Hoppip began to glow a bright green. So bright, that he was forced to let go in order the shield its eyes with both its arms and tail.
<Balloon! Nooooooo! > He cried dramatically, using all of his effort to try and see without seeing random objects floating in the air. It was almost like the after effect of a camera's flash, except he had no idea what a camera was. So to him, it was something completely new and unexpected.
Feeling betrayed by his own friend, the Aipom used a Tail Whip blindly at the Hoppip. Planning on smacking it down to the bottom floor, since he knew that he couldn't trust walking around at high speeds with such poor eyesight.

Luckily, a gust of wind came and blew Hoppip to another tree. As it died down, Sora shouted, "Hoppip, bounce off of that tree and try to knock that Aipom down. I want one.". Yes, even after it had stolen her Pokedex/mon, she still wanted it.

ooc:
You can't control Aipom like that lartanv. Winds, yes. But the Mod decided how that works out. Besides, Aipom is in the tree branches, it can't get knocked away by anything. o-o'

OOC: Try to edit your posts. And as soon as you do that, delete your last post. Or I'll delete it for you. -shrug- The lightweight Hoppip made its way closer to the Aipom, whether he liked it or not. With an annoyed look at his balloon, he wrapped his tail around the base of the tree before slowly turning around. As if something dramatic was about to happen. Sticking out its tongue and pulling down its eyelids it let out a sharp Astonishing cry to try and scare off his new attacker. 'I shall always remember you...Balloon....But your betrayal has hurt me deep.' The tiny Aipom though with a tiny sniff, stopping his attack to see if he should protect himself at the last second. Though he was fairly confident that it would work, if not then he would have to take this to ground level so he could explore his wide range of attacks.

OOC: I'm just going to make up some crazy excuse for getting the Suicune from the Promo.
Suddenly, a geyser of pure clean water shot up from just in front of Sora. She fell back, startled, as a voice boomed, "Take this Pokemon with you for you have been deemed pure of heart.". As the geyser slowly withdrew into the earth, it revealed a Pokeball. Sora looked around but she didn't see anyone else so with trembling fingers, she picked up the ball. She remembered her Pokemon had been hit by an Astonish so she recalled and opened the new Pokeball.
The usual beam of light shot out of the ball and started to take the form of a large canine. As the light dimmed, Sora's mouth dropped in shock. For standing there, in all his pride and glory, was Suicune, one of the great dogs.
For a moment, Sora was completely still but then she remembered the battle. She thought for a moment and then said, "I don't know how you got here or if you'll obey me but Suicune, use Bubblebeam.". The legendary dog stared at her for a moment, analyzing its new trainer before turning to the Aipom and releasing a stream of bubbles from its mouth.
Sora stared at this Pokemon, unable to believe that she had a Suicune. It was so pretty and majestic.

After the strange stream of obscure happenings, a shiny talking thing, a glowing talking, eye hurting balloon and an orange rock that had mushrooms on it's back and could walk, the thing that happened next seriously confused Aipom. There was a sudden gyser of the purest water he'd ever seen, and an odd voice spoke from nowhere.
Take this Pokémon with you for, you have been deemed pure of heart.
It had said. It had said this in Pokéspeech as well as human speech, but Aipom didn't know this, and so he thought that he had been given the Pokéball. Eager to rush down and get it, Aipom scurried down to the ground, but the big trainer took it first, and opened it! Now this was just weird. A giant blue poocheyna, with rippling hair and a strange crest! If that wasn't all, it seemed to be emanating water or something.
"I don't know how you got here or if you'll obey me but Suicune, use Bubblebeam.".
Aipom hadn't understood this, of course, but the meaning was soon pretty clear. The trainer had ordered this strange Pokémon to attack him! And sure enough it obeyed, opening it's mouth and letting fly a volley of bubbles towards him. The confused Pokémon had no time to defend, and was hit with the cascade of bubbles, slamming him into the trunk of the tree. 'Those aren't normal bubbles...' He thought, before scrambling to his feet.
He pulled himself angrily to his feet, very frustrated that he had been so hard done by. Why was everyone always mean to HIM? Well, now those days were over. He was gonna be mean to them. With lightning fast agility, Aipom charged up to Suicune and ducked under his legs, running under his stomach, and coming out by his tail. He grabbed onto it with all of his prehensile apendages and pulled as hard as he could. He only hoped that it wouldn't make his enemy even meaner. But the Aipom had never been a very clever one.

Suicune was at a higher level than Aipom (I assume Aipom isn't level 15) but it still grunted in pain as the Aipom pulled on its tail. Sora, although she had just met this Pokemon, felt a twang of sympathy. She got a sudden idea. "Suicune, use Rain Dance. Hopefully the dance should shake Aipom off. Then use Bubblebeam again." she cried.
Once again, the Suicune obeyed her orders. It started a complex, intricate dance. It started off slowly but went faster and faster as it progressed. At the same time, some clouds blew in and a slight rain started. As the dance got faster, the rain got heavier and soon it was as if God's toilet had backed up for a month and now he was finally flushing it (How did I come up with that?).

Aipom was pleased that his mischevious antics had done something, and even more pleased that all that the big water Pokémon was doing was dancing! Why was it dancing? Chuckling, Aipom again scurried up to the tree and settled in a branch, when suddenly he began to hear the telltale pitter-patter of rain. Rain. His least favorite thing. Scowling, Aipom shook his three fists at at the water dog. After all, it was it's stupid dance that was causing this, right? Fortunately it didn't seem that much stronger than Aipom, he might be able to take it... But he doubted it. His health was waning and his patience was running low. In a last effort attempt he leapt from the tree and used a fury swipes on Suicune.

As Sora looked at the battle, she decided to take down the Aipom then and there. "Suicune, use Bubblebeam to knock it out of the air before it gets to you," she commanded. Once again, Suicune released a stream of bubbles at the Aipom that was at that moment jumping through the air toward Suicune.

Aipom, in his heart of hearts, had fully anticipated this. But that didn't mean he was done yet. Using the fury swipes attack, he countered the bubblebeam, so only one or two touched him. Then he retracted a claw and bore down upon Suicune with a scratch attack. Probably not too effective, but oh well.
And suddenly, a stream of realisation flooded into Aipom's mind. It went a little something like: Ledgendary water dog tale pure scary strong. And in that single moment, he realised he was up against Suicine, the pure water Pokémon told about only in ledgends. Suddenly, his scratch attack didn't feel so strong.

Suicune and Sora noticed the sudden fear in Aipom. Sora used this to her advantage and said "Use Bite. Hopefully it will be too scared to fight back for a moment,". She knew this wasn't fair on Aipom but it had made a lot of trouble and she did really want to catch it.
Suicune ignored the slight pain from the Scratch and leaped forward, baring its fangs. It knew that the Aipom couldn't last too much longer. If he really focused then this attack might just make it faint.
