Data growled fiercely as once again, an intense sense of confusement overcame his senses. And he'd nearly gotten over the last bout. He Attempted to move closer to the Butterfree, managing only on hitting Ace's foot fiercely and hurting himself slightly.
"Come on Data. Just try and focus." Ace Prompted, nudging the fox pokemon away and watching as the Vulpix tried once again to move closer to the Butterfree.
The ground spun beneath him, and he was definatly off-balance. He knew he had to use Ember again, but how when that Butterfree was nowhere to be seen? And then, a moment of Clarity. That was his opportunity. He turned around quickly, able to see the Butterfreee clearer then he had before. and then... BAM! Another Ember attack was issued against the bug-type. And then Data tripped over nothing, lying on the ground in a slight daze before picking himself up again.

The butterfree was hit, quite hard, and let out a wail, "breee!" as it fluttered to the ground. It hit the earth's surface with a pound, closing it's big bug-like eyes.
Capture or move on?

Ace grinned as he watched the Butterfree fall from the sky. a Bit Sadistic.. Yes.. But it was merely because he thouroughly enjoyed that battle. He turned his attention to Data, scooping up the pokemon to prevent him from hurting himself before unclipping a pokeball from his belt. "Let's catch ourselves a Butterfree no?" He muttered to the Vulpix before throwing the Pokeball at the Bug-type.
Kin, on the other hand, had changed her attention from the tree (and it's root) and was nowinspecting a Dead log further off, placing her front paws on the side of it as she debated whether or not it was worthy of her attack.

Ace Grinned as he retrieved the pokeball. He'd caught a Butterfree. It was a decent pokemon, you just had to train it up well. Clipping the pokeball to his belt, he then settled himself back near his tree and pulled his back-pack around. "Kin! Lunchtime. You want anything?" He called as he pulled out a container of poke-food for Data, and then one for Kin before taking out a few sandwiches for himself.
"Eat up mate. You'll snap out of your confusion soon..." he croond to his Vulpix, putting the pokemon down near the now open container of Pokefood and opening Kin's before placing it a little way away.
Data nodded his head as he moved shakily closer to his lunch. If he was still, he didn't get quite so dizzy. And so, content now, the Fox pokemon ate his lunch carefully, waiting for the effects of Confusion to wear off.
Kin meanwhile, refused to return for lunch. He'd give her some later. For now though, gnawing the bark off the Log was much more entertaining.

"Hey you! Yeah you, I want a battle!" Came a voice. Coming closer was a small figure, which soon was visible to find it was a young boy. He was holding a bug catching net, a sunflower hat, and a fierce look on his face. Two pokeballs were already in his grasp, pointing to the trainer known as Ace. He had been running, so his face was red and he was out of breath.

{Yay! Battle!}
Ace looked up from his lunch as someone approached, calling out and challenging him. A Fiendish grin spread his features as he walked forward. "You sure you want to do that mate?" He asked, stopping a few paces from Data.
Said pokemon, was now attentive, aware of what was happening. He was looking at the other trainer, curious and excited at the same time.
Kin, on the other hand, had finally pried herself away from the log, standing still as she watched the Funny-looking boy come closer to her trainer. A Pokemon Battle? She wanted in...

"Duh! I'm so bored!" He said, taking out a pokeball and released a Beedrill and Butterfree.
"That's go!"

Ace flinched slightly as the trainer released both his pokemon at once. It was going to be a team battle... But how well would Kin and Data work as a team with him at the reins. They were fine earlier. But now.. Well. He' have to wait and see. "Alright then. Data, Kin, come on! Let's show him what we're made of." He called, grinning as his pokemon obeyed, running to stand to the Right of him.
<Why do you get to stand closest to him!>
<Because he called my name out first and I'm better!>
<I'll be better once he sees how well I Can do against these two. You could barely cope with a Butterfree!>[/i] So Kin was watching the battle then? Strange that she refused to join in...
Anyway, the two's quarrel with eachother was giving the other trainer the chance to attack first, much to Ace's dismay.

The unknown trainer rolled his eyes. "How pathetic. You can't even control your pokemon!" He said, rather obnoxiously. "You'll pay dearly for your incompetence! Drill, Free, Poison Sting and Confusion!"
The two pokemon carried out the attacks, confusion aiming for vulpix while the poison sting was aimed at the meowth.

Ace gritted his teeth at the trainers obnoxiousness. So what if his pokemon argued. They did well on their own. Ace had just seen it happen. "Data. Don't let Confusion affect you. Just hit that good-for-nothing butterfree with an Ember! Kin, Don't worry about that Poison sting. Use growl to lower the Beedrills attack and then follow through with Bite!" He ordered, hoping Kin wouldn't get poisoned by the Beedrills attack. He didn't have any Antidotes on him.
Data nodded, trying his best to shake that feeling of utter confusion that he'd become all to accostomed to. sadly though, he managed to hurt himself, but that didn't mean it would happen again when he attacked next.
Kin, meanwhile had used growl on the Beedrill, not being poisoned but still being hit by the pokemon. No sooner had the Beedrill's attack made contact, then Kin leapt into the air, Fangs bared as he aimed for the Bug-type.

Luckily for Butterfree Data hadn't been able to fire that ember, as it probably would have ended the battle quickly.
"Butterfree, another confusion!" The trainer ordered, knowing it was his pokemon's strongest attack.
Butterfree obliged, waving her wings to send the waves of confusion at Data.
Beedrill was able to dodge Kin's bite attack, zipping high into the air.
"Beedrill, fury swipes!"
Drill dive-bombed toward Kin at the command, baring his drills for the attack.

data braced himself as once again the Confusion Attack hit him. Thankfully, it didn't alter his status any, and he managed to maintain his calm. This time, he used Ember, aiming for the Butterfree before shooting out the flames.
"That's the way Data! Now its your turn Kin. Dodge the Fury Swipes and come in with a Scratch attack!" No sooner had he said it, then had Kin Obliged. She had Agility and speed, and that was all that was needed for her to get out of he way of the Beedrills Fury Swipes.
And once more the Meowth was in the air, targetting the Beedril and attempting a Scratch attack.

Butterfree jolted upwards, narrowly avoided the fire move. It responded promptly with a Tackle attack, aiming to knock Data over.
Beedrill, on the other hand, was not so lucky. As claws flew at the giant wasp, Beedrill was caught off-guard and it descended its pointed arms, only to be caught right in the way of the attack. Frustrated, Beedrill fired a Poison Sting.

Data was taking quite a beating, but, thankfully, the effects of Confusion had just about worn off. As the Butterfree came in with a Tackle, Data managed to dodge out of the way, for the most part. The Butterfree still managed to graze him, causing him to be pushed side-ways. Growling, the Vulpix rolled away and stood up, blasting an Ember attack towards the Butterfree once more just as Ace told him to.
Kin meanwhile, was trying to dodge the poison sting, but still got hit by it. She used Growl once again, before following through with a Bite attack. It wasn't fair. While she had to rely on her leaps and bounds, this pokemon just flew circles around her... Literally. what she wouldn't give for a set of wings herself...

"Butterfree, d-" Oh, but the boy was to late. The butterfree was hit head on by the strong ember attack. It let out a, "brree!" and fell backwards but hovered above the ground with rasping breath.
"Alright then!" The trainer smiled.
"Use confusion!" The butterfly pokemon nodded at it's trainer and used confusion on the vulpix.
The beedrill was bit by the Bite attack on his arm, and tried to get the big mean meowth off of his arm.
"Bzzz!"
"Beedrill, use poison sting to get him off!" The bug pokemon let out a strong purple poison sting toward Kin.

"Data, counter his attack with an ember!" Ace ordered as the Butterfree attacked.
Data winced as the attack hit, taking away more energy and leaving him panting slightly for breath. For the first time... He wasn't overcome by the effect of confusion. Instead, his head was clear. With a cheeky Grin, Data used Ember on the Butterfree proud with himself at his lack-of-confusion.
"Good boy!" Ace applauded before turning to Kin.. Just in time to see the Meowth leap off the Beedrill and land on the ground with a thud, slinking away barely inches from the Beedrill's poison sting attack. "Kin... Use Scratch. Keep avoiding his Poison Sting!" He ordered with a grin. The Battle was going better then expected. Kin was focused now only on the Beedrill and Data on the Butterfree... At least there weren't any Arguments.
Nodding her head, Kin attempted to run around to the Back of the Beedrill, jumping up with a scratch-attack ready.

Both of these attack were it for the poor bug pokemon. They didn't normally even last this long, it was quite a record. "Well done you two!" The boy said as he returned his pokemon. "Well! You won! Congratulations!" He dissapeared off, back into the trees where he came from.
Suddenly a Wingull delivery bird flew overhead. It appeared to be carrying a heavy parcel. It dropped it on Ace, and flew off. The parcel contained a note and a pokeball.

{Do Kin and Data gain a level?}
Ace looked blankly at the area where the Trainer had been moments before. Blinking a few times. What a strange battle that was. He half-expected the trainer to leap out from behind a tree and shout "Fooled you" But no.. He won.
He was about to sit down once again when a Wingull appeared, dropping off a parcel before flying off again. "Data, Kin, You can come back now..." He called, sitting down so the Parcel was between his legs before opening it. A Pokeball and a Note? Well.. It didn't hurt. And so, before he read the note, he tossed the pokeball up into the air, waiting for it to come back to earth and reveal the pokemon inside.
Meanwhile Kin had seemed very surprised at the Beedrills defeat, walking around in a circle for a moment before looking back at ace. It wasn't long before she sighted the Wingull and made her way daintilly towards her trainer. Her lunch, after all, was still Uneaten.
And Data was strutting his stuff just to the Right of where Ace now sat. He beat two Butterfree in One day. How good was he? All he'd need to do is have a little rest to recooperate and he'd be up and fighting in No time.

((Oops yeah! Sorry! Each gain one level!)) The note, which was supposed to be read first said; Here! This pokemon is for you! I hope it gets there safely!
Cazz There also appeared to be something scrawled on the back. As Ace would have known if he had read the note first. The pokeball, when it hit the ground opened to reveal a Poochyena. Name: Trickster Species: Poochyena Type: Dark Gender: Female Level: 9 Attacks: Bite, Howl, Tackle. Personality: Naughty Background: A gift from Cazz The Poochyena appeared to already like Ace, and was running around him in circles excitedly.
