With a grunt, Syl scooped up the pokeball. Sen smiled at her trainer.
[Awwww... You're such a nice guy.] She said smugly, hovering beside him in case he tumbled to the ground again.
Red-head glared fiercely at her, grabbing her by the tails and yanking them hard. "Shut up," He grumbled, hobbling through the cave at a snail's pace.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" A tall woman in a black coat stood around the corner, arms crossed with a look of ill intent on her face. A large and strong looking Haunter floated next to her, cackling at his trainer's words.
"Up for a battle?" she challenged, "I need some amusement"

Trainer sighed. Without a word from Syl, a pokeball sailed through the air, indicative of his battling mood. A darkened-Tyranitar emerged, beating it's chest and roaring at floating ghost-type. Violet shadows radiated from it's massive form.
"Still want that battle?" A thick red eyebrow raised questioningly.

"I'm surprised, but don't think your dino's going to do me in. Let's go, Spirit!" The woman's haunter stepped up to the plate. It looked ready, and was perhaps naive with the idea that it was going to beat this thing. The likelyhood was horribly miniscule, but Spirit didn't know that...yet.
"Your move"

Without waiting for an order from her trainer, a quick wave of darkness-energy rippled through the air, speeding towards Haunter at an almost unseeable-rate. Eva roared again, narrowing her eyes at the ghost.
Syl only shrugged. "Your call."

"Oh fine. A real gentleman would let the lady decide. Have it your way then. Spirit, Hypnosis!"
The Haunter floated closer to the dark Tyrannitar. He made strange hand movements and circular waves were emitted from his ghastly eyes in attempts to put the gargantuan beast to sleep. The attack didn't have an immense success rate, but damn it was effective when it did. Trying to ignore the intimidating tendrils just radiating off the giant dinosaur, Spirit gave it his best shot.

Eva's eyelids became increasingly heavy. She kept her enormous form in motion, trying to overcome the devastating effects of hypnosis. A second wave of darkness energy flew through the air. One of her paws covered her mouth in a yawn; drowsy Tyranitar struggled to stay awake.
Red-head shrugged a second time, mirroring earlier actions.

"Spirit, now's your chance! Shadow Punch!"
Bringing back a large hand, the Haunter wrapped it into a fist. Driving it forward, purple fire surrounded him as her performed the move. Surely Tyrannitar would not be able enough to dodge it.

Ghost-type move hardly left a scratch on the powerful dark pokemon. Tyranitar fought off a yawn.
"It's close enough," Syl mumbled, "Quick revenge."
Haunter still nearby from prior attack, Eva's darkness-enhanced claws scraped against it's gaseous form. Ghost moves didn't work so well on dark pokemon, but dark moves against a ghost type? Trainer smirked, mentally congratulating his pokemon for actually listening to him.
With a sigh, Eva's eyes fluttered shut. It toppled backwards, stretching out on the ground. The sounds of the cave served as a twisted lullabye.

Spirit felt his ghostly body being ripped apart as the Tyranitar's immense claws slashed through him. Falling back, Spirit's energy was significantly depleated, even after the first hit. Super effective.
His trainer sighed, not as worried as she should have been, "Spirit...you've got it. Dream Eater"
Floating over to the sleeping subject, the damaged Haunter performed Dream Eater in attempts to do some actual damage and get some energy back.

[ooohh psy attacks on dark types. XD!!!]
Psychic assault did little more than annoy the slumbering beast; dark-type's mental barrier was completely impenetrable to psychic attacks. Eva shifted in her sleep.
Red-head leaned against the smooth cave wall. "Psychic attacks are no good. Even a rookie would know that much," he chimed. Silent Emuritto hovered next to her master, puzzled by his lack of concern for Eva.

OOC: Oops, I kept thinking Dream Eater was a ghost type xDDDD
The woman clenched her teeth, frustrated that she'd come upon a Pokémon with such a resistance. Ugh. "It doesn't matter! Spirit, Night Shade!" she ordered swiftly.
Spirit sent a wave of black energy at the sleeping Tyrannitar, a wave whose power was equivalent to the Haunter's level.

The pain was excruciating. Eva shifted, remaining asleep despite being dealt heavy damage. Syl didn't seem concerned in the least, instead studying opposing trainer intensely. Golden gaze swept over the woman casually, a spark of interest lighting up typically cold eyes. She was attractive indeed.

"What are you looking at?!" she exclaimed, "Aren't you going to wake up your Pokémon! Come on!" Putting a hand on her hip, she looked pretty disatisfied with Syl's behaviour. This was just way too easy for her now. Even Rianne, the best ghost trainer (or so she thought) wouldn't stand for such an easy victory.
"Just continue, Spirit"
Nodding, the Haunter did as he was told and performed another Night Shade. Powerful indeed. The ghost type sneered.

Trainer grinned. "I was looking at you. You're pretty easy on the eyes," Half-flirting, half-teasing, and all sarcastic, Syl batted his eyelashes at the angry female.
The combination of commotion and damage woke Eva. With a grunt, she staggered to her feet, great beast shaking off a yawn. Violet eyes narrowed dangerously at offending Haunter.
"Dark pulse." Calm order was issued, but Syl's head was not in the battle. Instead, purely-male mind focused on the beautiful lady at hand.
Eva was more attentive. With a roar, a rippling wave of dark energy was sent Haunter's way.

Rianne grit her teeth, "Spirit, dodge and use Night Shade!"
Her Haunter nodded, but just as he was about to obey the command, he was caught off guard. The ghost Pokémon dropped to the ground - it had been a really effective attack. Staggering and struggling to get up, the Haunter was unable to return with a move of his own.

"Finish it, Eva. Another dark pulse." Syl didn't bother to watch his Tyranitar mercilessly defeat Haunter. Instead, calm, collected man ignored the pain in his ankle and strode over to the trainer, flashing her a bright grin. "What's your name?" He whispered coolly, "Because I think I need to see you naked." Charming, I'm sure.
Eva grunted, sending another powerful blast of darkness energy at Haunter. Speedy waves were nearly unavoidable for one as tired as Haunter.

Rianne watched in horror as her haunter got pwnt by the darkness, and fell to the ground unconscious. She returned it, and said "You perverted bastard..." She tossed another pokeball onto the ground revealing a dusclops "Jared use ice punch!" The pokemon twisted its self strangly, and began to rush forward as ice covered its right arm, which had been thrust towards the Tyranitar.

"Is that 'you perverted bastard' in an 'okay I'll take my clothes off' way?" He flashed her an award-winning smile, brushing a lock of crimson hair out of his face. She would be his.
Meanwhile, Tyranitar rolled her eyes at her idiotic trainer. Although not super-effective, Eva cringed from the attack. Dusclops still within close range, she launched quick-revenge, an attack with double-power if damage had been received. Claws glowing with darkness energy, she slashed wildly at ever-present ghost pokemon, trying to dish out the most damage possible.
Inattentive trainer suddenly focused on the battle. "Good, you're still alive," Syl muttered.
