"Hopp~" Guided by a gust of wind, dainty pokemon landed on the boy's head. "Hoppip~" It had brought him to a vast field of flowers, each swaying in the wind.

Jax looked on in awe as he looked at the vast field and wondered why he was brought here, was there something this Hoppip wanted him to do or was there something here for him.

"Hop~ Hop~" The chanting could be heard from very far away. Each flower moved on it's own accord, long after the wind had died down. These flowers weren't flowers at all! A vast colony of Hoppip and Skiploom were hidden where no human could find them.
"Hop~ Hop~" The chanting became frantic and scared. A pair of beady eyes watched the Hoppip and Skiploom hungrily from the bushes nearby.
"Groooow~"

Jax's ears perked at the sound as he prepared to defend the hoppip, and the Skiploom. They would not fall under his watch.

Leaping from the bushes fearlessly was a large Growlithe. Barking loudly, it used an ember attack to drive away the masses of Hoppips and Skiplooms as it attempted to sort out it's prey. Having hit a single Hoppip, it pounced forth on the terrified creature, ignoring the human presence almost completely.
A few Hoppip and Skiploom howevered above, horrified that one of their comrades had fallen to this gluttonous puppy.

Jax threw out a single poke ball, "Go blaze use Scratch," Jax asked of his firey friend.

((Thanks. ^^))
The growlithe snarled as it was slashed between the eyes, leaving an enormous gash on it's face. It wailed in pain, whining a few times, and then looked to the other fire pokemon with hatred. Then it growled and used roar, hoping to scare it's opponent.

Jax watched on as Blaze looked a little intimidated, "It's okay my friend," Jax replied trying to encourage his friend. "Now try scratch again," Jax replied while hoping his Charmander wasn't too scared by the roar.

This time, the dog-like pokemon anticipated this and quickly sidestepped from the attack. Then it snarled and used a tackle on Blaze, hoping for good results.

Blaze stumbled back a bit, "Use growl blaze." Jax said hoping that the growlithe would be thrown off guard with that, then he'd use scratch again.

Feeling it's attack lower, Growlithe as it challenged it's foe to deliver a physical blow. Rushing recklessly a second time, it used tackle to try and take Charmander down.

Jax was expecting this," Blaze dodge that then use Scratch again," Jax told his Charmander, as the young fire pokémon prepared to do as he was told.

The scratch ripped at the growlithe's flesh, and made it collapse and wail in pain. However, it wasn't done yet. It staggered back to it's normal stance, panting, and used another roar, remembering that the Charmander was scared of those.

Blaze disappeared in a flash of light but Jax had his next Choice in his hand," go Ironside use take down," Jax said seeing the Take down was the only move Ironside knew at the moment.

Growlithe was blown to the unforgiving soil, fainted because the attack was so powerful and it's HP was so low.
All participating pokemon under level 20 gain 1 level.
Attempt a capture or Move on?

Jax tossed a pokéball at the growlithe it was strong, and the pokémon that lived here would be safer without the growlithe running loose.
