A shadow jumped in fear as a human layed eyes upon it. Squeeking a bit, it climbed further up the tree with no intension whatsoever to come down. Perhaps it would be a good idea to coax it...or attack.

"I mean you no harm, I do not wish to hurt you," Jax replied to the creature in the tree, hoping it wasn't of a violent nature, and hoping it wasn't hurt, or stuck up there. "It's okay I won't hurt you please come down so I can see you," Jax said to it quietly hoping it would come down, from that high place.

It squeaked again, fearfully. In the shadows of the leafy branches, you could see two golden eyes staring at you... Perhaps it was hallucinating or something, because it was scrambling around the branches of the tree, looking for a safe place to hide from you.

"If I wanted to hurt you I would just have one of my fire types burn the tree but I do not believe in fighting without a reason," Jax told the creature with the golden eyes that was hiding in the tree. Jax felt sorry for it and wanted to help it but didn't want to hurt it without a good reason.

Scrambling, a Caterpie dropped from the tree. Dangling by a thread, it spun itself around a couple of times in attempts to hold on. It appeared this was the golden-eyed critter that had it's eyes on Jax. Whirling around, it tried to free itself but ended up stuck.
"Pie..." it muttered, a bit in distress.

"well looks like you could use a hand little fella," Jax said as he worked to free the little pokemon, hoping it wouldn't try to tie him up later, "Well I'm glad to see you aren't terrified of me anymore," Jax comforted it as he continued to try to free the small bug.

The Caterpie fell with a plop to the ground.
<Hey! I was trying to make a cacoon!> it cried indignantly, only the faint red flush that stood out brightly against its green skin told that it was fibbing.

"Yeah, I really doubt that, my friend," Jax replied as he sat down close to the Caterpie.
"So mind telling me what you were doing up there or are you still scared of me?" Jax asked it curiously. "I told you I wasn't going to hurt you and to think that you doubted me," Jax said with a small smile.

Ignoring his questions, the naughty Caterpie had already started dragging it's plump, green body away from the trainer, trying to flee once more.

"If I'd wanted to battle you I wouldn't have sat down I would have thrown out a pokeball which I did not do." Jax said to the ungratefull caterpie. Jax got back up off of the ground, "If you want to leave I'm not going to stop you," Jax told the caterpie as he turned around to get ready to leave and get on with his Journey

Suddenly, the bug pokemon jumped up and clung to Jax's back, moving up until it was on his head. Then it looked down at him with an upsidedown face, staring into his eyes. "Caterpie~!"

"Okay may I ask what's up besides the fact you're on my head," Jax asked the strange acting bug pokemon, as he stared at it crosseyed. "So are you still afraid of me," Jax asked it as he stopped walking so he wouldn't run into anything dangerous that would hurt him or the caterpie that was currently on his face for some unknown reason.

((ROFL. XD))
"Caterpie, piiiiie~!" The little bug pokemon chirped, now dancing on his head. (...wierd.) It seemed quite content in spazzing, and would continue dancing on your head until you persuaded it to get off... perhaps by bribing?

"Would you like a berry," Jax asked the danceing pokemon on his head, as he held a berry to where it could see that he was offering a berry and not a berry shaped rock. Jax wanted to get on with his journey but journeys were hard to make with a bug pokemon dancing on your head, so the pokemon didn't need to be up there at this time. ((I'm glad I made your day Draagon ;D))

((-sqwee- You're good at making me laugh. XD))
The bug pokemon grabbed the berry and started eating it, sliding off of your back and onto the earth, landing on it's slimy bottom. As soon as it was done wolfing down said berry, it clung to Jax's shoe. "Caterpie!"

"Okay now you're in love with my shoe, please tell me what you want," Jax told the odd Caterpie that was doing who knows what with his shoe really wanting to move on and get this route over with. "Are you normally like this or am I the first person who didn't squash you," Jax asked.

The bug didn't answer, slithering up your shoe. Then it discovered one of those wierd red and white balls, seeing it's reflection in it.
Suddenly, the Caterpie fell off of your leg, landing on it's squishy bottom. However, the pokeball landed on the button and swallowed the bug pokemon in a bright crimson light. It rolled once... twice... and finally, it beeped.
Congratulations!
You caught a Caterpie!

The most obnoxious, loud, and outrageous noises are heard up ahead. A small pink pokemon with yellow-tipped ears seems to be singing on the top of its lungs to the forest. Pidgey scattered out of trees, pokemon scattering for cover as the Whismur barged through.
Eventually, it stopped, looking up at you.
<Do you like it?> the pokemon asked, tilting its head.

"It's okay, but what are you doing way out here," Jax asked while picking his words carefully he didn't want to make his pokemon fight for no reason, They needed rest, not a battle, so he was trying to be nice to the loud pokemon before him right now he wasn't sure what to make of it at the moment but he hoped she wasn't aggressive.
