Jaymie grimaced at the rough-looking terrian. This definately wasn't the neat little path through a patch of grass that the first route was... Behind her trotted Nero, always ready to lend a paw by burning particularly stubborn vegitation to the ground. The ever-present scowl he carried grew deeper with each passing day.
His trainer sighed at him. "Ner, I wonder if we're going to find any pokemon here..."
Finally, the worst part seemed like it was over. The pair came to a grand bridge. Jay's eyes widened at the mere sight of it. "Whoaa!"
Spotting a place to fish near the lake under the bridge, she hurried over, Nero following close behind. Grabbing a pole, she dipped it into the water and waited.

Cautiously padding over, Nero dipped a paw into the water. Finding it coler than expected, he gave it a sharp glare and a low growl.
Jay giggled at her pokemon, taking the fishing pole in one hand and ruffling the fur on his back with the other. The quilava made a purring noise, quite like a cat, and contented himself to dozing quietly by her feet.
Sighing, the trainer's thoughts returned to a certain red-haired man. "There's something going on with him," she whispered to herself, "I just know it..."

Just then you feel a squirt of water...and then it is gone. It squirts again. You then spot a playful poliwag, leaping from different places of the water.
