Peering through the streaky window located within his kitchen sat an overly eager teenagers. His fingers had been twiddling for quite a bit now and his cereal had gotten soggy long ago. His feet stayed in the same position no longer than three seconds at a time and the shrill voice of his mother seemed to pass through the young man's ears, yet the message didn't seem to be getting through. His mind had been saturated with the potential Pokemon that he would soon choose as a starter and begin with journey with.
Moments later he got up and quickly thanked his mother for such a wonderful opportunity and left his home behind. With it, two brothers and a proud mother, watching her boy become a man.
Extending his arms outward in a stretching motion and smiling as the warm sunlight hit his skin, the soon-to-be Pokemon trainer had nothing but optimistic thoughts running through his head. Visions of future battles had filled his mind and caused the occasional trip, but didn't ruin his mood any. The scenery seemed to glow dully, reflecting the yellow light and accentuating the vivid green pigment of the nature surrounding him. What beauty to be seen on a very important and memorable day in Aaron's life, nature at its finest.
Having been admiring his surroundings for so long, Aaron had quickly realized that he was already standing about three feet from the laboratory door. At that point, quick and shallow breathes were the only ones that he could take, having an almost child-like reaction to achieving his very first dream. The dream of attaining his first Pokemon. Simply staring at the steel door, he whispered to himself, "I'm finally here."

Elizabeth sat the window of the labratory. It had been a long day, and she was very bored. She was falling asleep and her head bobbed up and down. Her eyes drooped. She had gone to bed at about 12. She had been working on the lab and watching over the Patch of Tall grass. She loved to go through paper work. It was rigerous, but fun to her. Athene ran towards her, <Chu, chu!> [/color] she said, prying the window open with her little paws. She then poked her paw out the window, pointing to a figure outside the door. Elizabeth opened her eyes in surprise to see the small mouse next to her. "Whaaa..." she said, still sleepy. "Oh, hello." She said embarressed, sticking her head out the window. "Gimme a sec," she said drowsily. Eliza rose from her chair and skipped over to the door. She tried to open it, but found herself weak from lack of sleep. Athene and Seiko rolled their eyes, and help her pry the door open. The growlithe barked at the newcomer, he was still young. "Sorry about him. You must be here for your first pokemon. C'mon in," she smiled, waving her arm in a gesture as if asking him to walk in. She pointed to a poster, "Theres a list of the... starters. Go choose one if you want," she said, blinking quite a lot.[/blockquote] ooc; It's fine, you don't have to be on everyday unless your a mod ;P. Also, you can just put in your signature that you might not be on AS MUCH as other people. I'm sure they'll understand.

"Haha, no problem at all." Aaron said, chuckling at the tiny electric-type. For once in his life, his fascination for Pokemon hadn't consumed his thoughts and he was able to pay attention to what was happening. Or... least most of it. The second mention of Pokemon seemed to of beckoned his attention. His eyes had strayed from the Pokemon and went directly to the poster of his potential partners.
His eyes had widened at the very sight of it, already analyzing each and every one of them with his novice knowledge of Pokemon. Each one of them had their own unique qualities that he found fascinating and he could hardly put himself in the position to choose only one. So of course, being Aaron, he had to choose the most simplistic and decisive way to pick. Closing his eyes, the almost Pokemon trainer raised a single hand and extended his index finger towards the poster. In a circular motion he waved his finger, making sure not to peek at the list in front of him. Picking a random moment to thrust his finger to the paper, he opened his eyes, eager to see which Pokemon he had picked.
Smiling as he turned to the woman who had greeted him earlier, a single syllable left his lips. "Spheal."

The little thirteen year old smiled at his fascitination with Athene. She pointed at Seiko, the growlithe, "They're both trouble makers," she blushed in embarressment. They were very new, and hadn't had enough training yet. Seiko trotted along next to the boy as he approached the poster. He was still curious about the boy, like he was to all new people.
"Spheal."
The boy voiced his want. Elizabeth smiled, "Haven't heard anyone want that one yet," then she realized he had chose it at random. She chuckled and let out a sharp whistle, calling for Swoop, "Swoop," she said to her Spearow, who landed on her arm, "Fetch this nice young man a spheal pokeball,". She then looked down at Seiko, "Go retreve a starter kit, and bring Athene with you," she said, smiling.
"It's nice to have pokemon. They're very loyal, as long as they're good natured," Eliza said to him. Soon the Spearow returned with a ball clutched tight in her claws.

Upon receiving his new partner, Aaron couldn't help but smile. The first of his many goals was complete, but the satisfaction of having his first Pokemon surpassed all feelings he had at that very moment. He couldn't help but stare at the spherical object holding his Spheal, but quickly rose his head to say a quick thanks to the young girl. Then afterwards thanking her once more for the small bundle of items, placing them into his pack and heading out the door, nearly forgetting to open them first.
ooc; Finished.
