Marissa Moon walked down the grey street, her tail waving behind her lazily. It made her feel prepared for anything. "Dammit, where the hell is it?" The Raichu Pokemorph hissed, scanning the street for the rumoured Pokémon Lab. All her life, she had been waiting to get her hands on a new, trustworthy companion, but where the hell was she meant to go? "Here?" The Pokemorph muttered to herself, clenching her fists and lashing her tail more menacingly. Her short temper was kicking in. She entered the random building she'd chosen. It looked kind of like a Pokémon Lab... ah yes, there were a row of Pokeballs. "Anyone here?" Marissa barked angrily. "I'd like to obtain a Pokemon, please." The word came out through gritted teeth; what bad service this was. She twitched her ears, trying to pick up sounds of movement. This waiting was unbearable.

A man casually walked into the room, upon hearing the girls irritated cry. Feeling resentment towards her for waking him up he spoke not really bothering to give the casual greetings to the girl. Of course, it had been a hetic morning. Two Plusle had decided to have a little 'fun' and actually escaped the main room. They were somewhere in the lab, but how could he look for them when there was a future trainer right in front of him?
"Follow me. " He said in a sigh, turning his body around with sluggish movements as he half way dragged himself into the next room. Blue eyes were darting around the hall way as the man acted as if nothing was wrong. Only a distracted look rested on his face as he held the doors to the main room open for the girl. Inside was a room full of many desks and shelves, a work room for the Aides. The most interesting thing however were the Pokeballs that lines the shelves, and the colorful poster in front of the two that listed all of the starters.
"Any idea what you want? Or you can check that poster out..." He drawled, his eyes taking a curious intrest in the corner of the room. If the Pokémon he were looking for were in this room, then it would be easier to catch them.

Marissa followed the man, eyes narrowed. She didn’t trust this fool, but if it was going to get her a Pokemon, she was all for it. “Shinx.” The Raichu Pokemorph said shortly. Sure, she desperately longed for her own Raichu alongside her, and a Pichu would fit the bill perfectly, but Shinxes were so adorable, she figured she could obtain a Raichu another time. She imagined one of those electric cubs on her shoulder and smiled. Yes, a Shinx would be perfect.

Not wanting to spend any more time with this “fool”, Marissa took the Shinx's Pokeball, grasping it tightly in her hand, and left to explore the region with her brand-new companion.
~ End Thread.
