As the girl made her way down the path, a continuing line away from her home, and a connection to the lab, she realized more and more how dependent she would become upon her newly acquired partners. The girl smiled, the starter pack modified by her into a cute little over the shoulder pack. The items she had recieved, along with a bluish tinted Pokeball, and another normal red and white one, clanked together. Her bare feet, surprising in the cold, winter weather, slid gracfully along the ground. Perhaps what was more surprising was the fact that she was wearing a dress in the frigid temperatures, but the girl hardly seemed to mind. Her hair, falling down and ending in a fin-like appearance, suggested her true identity; a Vaporeon morph. The girl paused, squinting her eyes against the coming daylight. This would be her first day on her journey. The morph grinned, and looked about, quickly making for the shade of a tree. Leaning against it, then sliding down the length, she hurriedly pulled out a few tools, six Pokeballs (two of which actually contained Pokemon), and a string of beautiful silver and blue jewels. Setting down to work, her long fingers moved swiftly. After about a half an hour, she held up her creation. A beautiful bracelet, connected with Pokeballs and the silver and blue jewels, glittered in the faint dawn light. Smiling, she hooked it onto her left hand. Malaia had made it so that on a whim, she could unclip any ball she chose, whether to release one of her Pokemon, or attempt to catch it. Smiling, she tried out the contraption, unclipping the bluish tinted ball that had a blue swirl on it, and another with a tannish colored swirl. Standing, she looked at them excitedly. Within these two balls... Her first two Pokémon. One recieved specially from Professor Mei. Smiling, she tossed them both up into the air, where they opened with a red flash of light. Catching the balls as they fell, the girl looked in front of her, where a Horsea stood balanced upon his tail, and a Sandshrew gazed up at her expectantly. <"You aren't Mei..."> Malaia shook her head to the Sandshrew, while looking at the Horsea. The Pokémon looked her up and down, before shrugged. <"So, you're a morph. Well, at least you'll be able to understand me."> Delighted with her beginner and the gift Pokemon, Avira bent down and picked up the Horsea, stroking his head thoughtfully. "I'm Malaia Avira. Call me whatever you like though." The Horsea arched his head, obviously enjoying the attention. "I think I'll call you... Blue." Turning, and reaching out a hand to the Sandshrew, the Pokémon retreated a little bit, and she frowned. So, she would have to gain the Pokemon's trust. Nevertheless, the girl smiled, and waved cheerily. "I think I'll call you Rush, if you don't mind." The Sandshrew shrugged. <"Better than Fluffy, or Brownie."> The girl stood, still holding Blue in her arms. "Alright guys, let's train. We need to get you guys trained up for the gym!"[/sup][/blockquote]

Up ahead of the trainer and her pokemon, was small brown, weasel-like pokemon, sliding down a hill of white snow. <Watch out!> The pokemon shouted, sliding right in their direction.
Sliding Pokemon! ::Buizel::

Malaia looked up, hearing the sudden words thrown at her. Her dark blue eyes widened, and she dove out of the way. Rush, his own eyes widening, dove for cover as well. However, he himself was buried in snow. Popping up from a snow bank, he sighed, using his claws to quickly take off the snow that rested upon his head like white hair. Avira, seeing this, laughed quietly. Blue, having done a face-plant when his trainer dove to the side, also popped up from the snow. The water-type grinned, blowing out bubbles cheerily. Malaia stood up, wiping the snow flakes off of her dress. Strangely, it wasn't wet. Blue looked down, realizing that she didn't have shoes on. <"Mind putting some shoes on? I don't want you to freeze on me."> The Vaporeon rolled her eyes, but complied, and took a pair of matching blue ballet flats. As she slipped them on, she crinkled her nose. She really didn't see the difference in warmth. Now, her feet felt constricted, but on well. Glancing up, she looked to see the Buizel that had nearly run her over. She waved to it cheerily. "Thanks for the warning."[/sup][/blockquote]

The Buizel, likewise, had collided with a sizable mound of snow. A minklike, burnt orange head popped from the soft frost, akin as it was to fine white powder. A slender body, consequently, followed, weaseling from its encasement with relative ease. Small paws swiftly dusted remnants from its lithe torso, and the Pokemon blinked at the girl, aquatic eyes mild.
"Buizel, Buizel, Buiz." [ No problem. I didn't see ya there before I started slidin' -- it's only natural for me to give ya a heads up. ] the Buizel responded wrily, wriggling its gold-tipped tail. Its gaze fell upon Rush, then Blue, and was again riveted to the girl. A peculiar, if motley crew this was... satisfyingly differing from its rather banal life. The ferret smiled faintly, such a positive gesture mainly directed towards itself.

Malaia laughed lightly as she watched the Buizel brush itself off. Her newly made bracelet clicked against her other, normal two. "Well then, what are you doing out here?" The Vaporeon morph silently looked over to Blue and Rush. The Sandshrew was gazing quietly at the ferret like water type, Blue's eyes curious, if not a little excited. For a moment, the girl wondered what that could mean, but then realized that they probably were wondering if they would attack the Buizel. Well, so far, he hadn't given them any reason to attack, right? Humming cheerfully, she watched as Blue began to blow more Bubbles.
[bleh sorry, no muse right now. im still learning how to RP her.]

<I'm just out here having a little fun, you see I have nothing else too do, seeing that I don't have any friends to play with." The Buizel replied, feeling a little chatty. "What are you guys doing out here?" It asked curiously.

"Well..." The morph looked at her two Pokemon, who weren't really the best matches against a Buizel. None of their attacks were that effective. "I was planning on getting some training in. We are going to go to the gym." She smiled, before twirling a hand in the air. "Care to join us?"

<Hmm, are you sure you want me to come along?> The Buizel asked curiously. It was pretty obvious that this pokemon didn't often have anyone to as him to join them in anything. <I would really love to come with you guys, I could use some friends, I'm tired of playing by myself." The Buizel added, feeling a little down.

"Of course we'd love for you to come along, right guys?" The morph looked excitedly at Blue and Rush. Blue nodded. It would be nice to have another water type around. The Sandshrew, meanwhile, shrugged. It could be worse, he supposed. Besides, the Buizel seemed good-natured enough. Squealing in delight, she unclipped a Pokeball from her bracelet, and placed it in front of the Pokemon.

Buizel's face relaxed into a smile as it tapped the button with an extended arm. <Thanks guys, I really appreciate it...>
With a sudden flash of red light, Buizel was vacuumed inside. Both halves of the orb snapped shut, forever binding it with the strange trainer.

Malaia squealed in delight, before releasing the Buizel, and shrinking his ball. "I think I will call you, Vaynox?" The water type nodded, already running over to Blue. <"Want to slide?"> The Horsea blinked, before shrugging. <"Sure?"> Grabbing both Rush and Blue, the girl's Pokemon yelped as the Buizel threw them down the snow bank, and dove onto the ground beside them, making a whooshing noise. <"HUZZAH YAYY!"> Malaia began to walk down the snow, eyes alert for more Pokemon.[/sup][/blockquote]

A small bug type Pokémon could be seen shivering and waddling through the snow. It had curly antennas and resembled a musical orator. Who could this Pokémon be? As it walked, its antenna hit each other, and let out a sound you'd hear on a xylophone. Hmm... The Pokémon continued and locked eyes with Malaia, her beautiful hair, blue hair definitely caught its attention and caused it to walk over to her. "Krii..." The little bug squealed in a melodic manner. You've encountered a Kricketot! What will you do?

Watching as the Kricketot appeared, Rush pricked up his ears. Smiling, Malaia nodded. "Go on, Rush. You can do it." The Sandshrew gazed quietly up at his new trainer, before rushing forward, and standing in front of the Pokemon. "Alright, use Sand Attack, then Dig!" The Pokemon quickly threw up sand into the air, hiding him from view. When the sand finally dispersed, the Sandshrew was gone. From behind the bug Pokemon, Rush reappeared, ready to finish the Dig attack.

<Kricktot!> The pokemon cried, watching the Sandshrew dig underground. <Kricktot?> The pokemon asked looking confused for a moment, but quickly began to start playing his music for Malaia again.

Malaia smiled. The music was indeed beautiful. Perhaps if Rush defeated him, she would try and capture the Pokemon, and use him to help her fall asleep at night. The Sandshrew, emerging from the ground behind the music playing bug, raised his claws in an attempt to use Scratch/Dig combo.

<Kricketot!> The tiny bug pokemon cried getting attack by the combination of attacks. <Kricketot!> The pokemon growled in attempt to reduce the Sandshrew's attack, right attack the bug pokemon growled it began to store energy for a Bide Attack.

Rush's attack was weakened as the Growl attack reached his ears. Snorting, the Sandshrew quickly scooped his claws into the sand, hurling a Sand Attack towards the Kricketot in an attempt to lower its accuracy. The Sandshrew then rushed forward, trying to Scratch the Pokemon several times, before diving beneath the surface to use a Dig.

<Krick!> The small bug pokemon cried, losing its focus on the Bide Attack due to the fact of Rush's Attacks. <Kricketot!> The musical pokemon cried once again, trying to focus on, yet again another Bide Attack.

Rush could feel the Pokemon above him moving around, then halting. <"Another bide? Great."> Digging his way up, he went underneath the bug Pokemon, attempting to finish the Dig attack. If that didn't work, he pulled his claws back, trying to use another Scratch.

The Kricketot winced with pain as both the attacks found their mark. Exhausted and heavily bruised, the Kricketot began to glow with power. It then released the energy it had been charging since the Sandshrew had attacked.
