Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me~
Zena skipped along the path leading to route one. She finally thought about letting Lo out. He had been stuffed in his pokeball since he was caught earlier that day. She laughed at that idea of them being crammed in there. It was like being on a pirate ship. Down in the hull, workin' overtime... The thoughts of her old life overcame her, and she drifted into a subconscience reminiscing. Suddenly her head wacked a low tree branch.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Zen finally came too, looking up from the ground. She rubbed her head, which was now bruising quite nicely. She groaned, getting up. Finally she remembered what she had been doing. "Right. Lo, come on out and see your new master!" She called, chucking her pokeball into the air. A red beam escaped the blue and red sphere, which, in a flash, took the shap of a lilly pad with a body. <Lo, lotad!!> The pokemon cried. "Speak english ya dumb--" she said, but was cut off because she thought her sister was coming. Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. [/blockquote] ooc; Bad x.x

A rumble was heard in the distance but it slowly and steadily became louder and one could see a underground trail being dug approaching fast. Then just a ways away popped up a diglett. It seemed to appear lost since not only was it way out here but it turned it's head in ever which direction as if looking for something. "Diglett DigDig" <Pa? Pa?> It called. Then it spotted the girl and jumped as much as a diglett could. It really had traveled to far hadn't it?

The cloaked woman trudged wearily after her sister. She couldn't believe they were related. There was a dark-type bird sitting on Branda's shoulder, blending in neatly with the black cloak that covered her face and body.
"Right. Lo, come on out and see your new master!"
Branda shook her head. She'd brought out her new Murkrow earlier. Now, however, the dark-type flew off her shoulder before she could stop it and went over the play with the lotad. <Heya pal!> It cried. <Good thing we were both caught by two hoo-mans traveling together, 'ey?> Branda couldn't have gotten luckier- Dagger itself was part pirate.
"I named mine Dagger. I 'kin see you named your's Lo, my oh-so-witty sister." She drawled. "An' at least our pokemon get along. I 'ope." She would've loved to draw out her cutlass and give her sister a mock-poke with the handle, but she had to remain concealed.

Ahead there was a distant sound of a kid on a po-go stick. One could make out the silhouette of a Spoink enjoying a stroll. It bounced high into the air and back down, not watching where it was going. Poor Diglett.
Right on the head of the mole pokemon it bounced, pushing it into the hole and itself into the dirt. "Spooooooink!"<Gah!!!!!> It yelled into the air as it smashed it's face. It didn't even see the trainers.

ooc; haha, its a mod rp xDD ic;
<Heya pal! Good thing we were both caught by two hoo-mans traveling together, 'ey?>
Lo looked up at the murkrow. <Ya bet its great! My hoo-man seems a lil'...>
he had began to say, but looked up to see Zena was glaring down at him. <Meep...> he sqeaked. "I named mine Dagger. I 'kin see you named your's Lo, my oh-so-witty sister. An' at least our Pokémon get along. I 'ope.""Oh so-witty," Zena chuckled at Branda. She knew she was being sarcastic, and so she used it against her. "'Ey, wat's dat?" she said, nudging her chin in the direction of a Spoink tripping over a diglett. She grabbed her Pokedex and scanned the two pokemon. The pokedex then spoke, in perfect english, "It bounces constantly, using its tail as a spring. The shock of bouncing keeps its heart beating.". Next she scanned the diglett, "A Pokémon that lives underground. Because of its dark habitat, it is repelled by bright sunlight." Zena smiled and wrinkled her nose, "I call the Spoink, 'es mine," she said, and jabbed her finger at him. With her right hand she fingered her small dagger on her side. She loved to draw it, but knew she shouldn't.[/blockquote]

"'Ey, wat's dat?"
Branda snorted. "Work on yer accent. 'Least mine's passable." But then she did turn her attention towards where her younger sister was facing. Bouncing towards them, and clumsily tripping over some mole-like pokemon was a weird little purple-and-black thing. Apparently it was a Spoink, and the little ground-type was Diglett.
"I call the Spoink, 'es mine,"
"Good, I don't want that clumsy thing." The woman grumbled. But her Murkrow was more than ready. It fluttered into the air. "Dagger, use peck." She commanded lazily. <Aye.> It squawked, diving down at the ground type.
Its sharp beak pointed downward, Dagger aimed itself at the Diglett. It appeared to have the advantage.

"Work on yer accent. 'Least mine's passable."
Zena glared at her sister, "I ain't 'erfect.. eerrr, perfect Branda," but she was distracted by her call towards the pokemon.
"Good, I don't want that clumsy thing."
Zena rolled her eyes. She had been dwindling her accent down to nothing, and still teasing Zena about hers. "Clumsy like... YOUR FACE!" She called at her, trying to use the disses from people around here. Her pirate disses had been getting old anyways.
Next Zena threw another pokeball out, "C'mon out Mes, we might need some 'elp," she said, and a Mesprit took shape from the red beam. 'Mes, mes, sprit,' it mumbled, and Zena knocked it on its head, trying to get it speak English to her.
Zena now had to command them. She fumbled, "Uhh... Lo use... GROWL! And then hit it wif a... astonish!" She shouted, and Lo let out a little growl that sounded like a, 'Taaaaaad!'. 'Pathetic..' Zena thought, but now it was time to command Mes. "Mes, help Lo out wif a... Hidden Power, dark type!" She said, pumping her fist in the air. That hand had been holding onto her dagger, which then fell to the ground. "ARGH!" She screamed and scooped it up, putting it back on its hilt. Lo dashed towards the bouncing pokemon in an astonish. He flung himself at the spoink, trying to flail about and use its move. Then Mes came forward and used hidden power. It was to send out bolts of dark matter, and that it did. It sent out wavering bolts of it, it still wasn't used to battling, and the move seemed to falter, but it worked.[/blockquote] ooc; Always check super efficiency ;P

The Diglett's eyes widened when it realized that it was about to get attacked by the Murkrow. However, it was stuck in one spot. Rooted there by its fear, and slowly it began to visibly tremble. Wishing that its father would come to its rescue, but deep down it doubted that he would ever see him again. As the aerial Peck attack struck it on its side, it cringed into a tiny hole on the ground to watch the Murkrow fly past it with fearful eyes. Only then it realized that it had to protect itself, and let out a large Growl, for everyone on the field to hear. Seeing that it was some kind of Double Battle.
Since Lo had let out a Growl attack, both the Diglett and Spoink's attack had been lowered. Whether it was because they were afraid, or thought the Lotad was plain cute looking, well, they had their reasons. The two super effective attacks were headed to the Spoink, and it almost suffered the same fate of the Diglett if it hadn't owned the gift of quick thinking. Making a successful dodge and attack, by using Splash to jump out of the way. Then it made another jump to try and attack the Lotad by using its amazing Splash on his head.
