With his eyes still slammed shut, Hatter did not notice their descent to the ground. There was a clear difference in the air pressure all of a sudden, but he attributed it to them rising higher and higher int he sky instead of lower and lower to the earth below. not until Spearow's talons touched dirt and the impact bounce the Sableye did he open his oculi, confused and somewhat dazed. Brambles and thorns were sticking up from his person. One leaf in particular hung over his field of vision, and with a swipe the vegetation was smacked away.
< So ... Get off ... Now ... > The Spearow was wheezing. Her voice was background music to his ears.
Intrigued by the fact of their landing, Hatter complied, sliding off the feathers with a small chirp spilling from his throat. It felt weird to be standing on something solid after soaring through the air. Hatter gazed about in a sort of daze. Feathers were still held tight between his claws, but he paid them no heed. In fact, the Sableye dropped them the minute Scarlet sauntered towards he and the fallen avian. Lanky legs propelled the petite beast forth until he jumped and wrapped about her torso, gleeful over his victory.
Grinning with aloofness, Scarlet patted the spiked skull. "Awww, ya kicked butt ... "
Hectate was close behind. She covered distance with stealth and appeared beside the Juggernaut without a sound. Dusa hovered silently behind. "Hatter's tough," she noted. But her eyes read anxiety. Spearow was weakened ... and Scarlet was likely to take advantage of it.
A thought which was proven correct as the red-skinned fae brought her clawed fingers to her side, grasping an empty Pokéball. Hatter scuttled to the top of her head and, with the burden released from her chest, Scarlet launched the object at Spearow full-speed. "Gotcha!"
