The city was quite busy at this time of day everyone was out shopping, or playing with there Pokemon, children were roaming the streets playing games, and some wild Pokemon were carelessly roaming the streets, how about that.
She could smell the local bakery not to far away from where she was, she could in fact see it. Business was booming for them, you could actually see a line going out the door. But there was one building in the city that was not crowded or had a line to get in, that was the Electrique City Gym.
She opened the door to the large building. that seemed to have no life inside. Walking close by her was her Jigglypuff a faithful Pokemon indeed. She put her blond hair up in a ponytail, for she knew it was bout to get hot in this gym. "Hello? is anyone here?" She called out into the emptiness of the gym, with the doors still wide open.

The interiour of the gym was indeed empty, but it was this way on purpose. The gym was no great spectacle, but the leader liked to make an entrance. Was that so much to ask? Spotting the girl walk in on the security camera's, Haru leapt to his feet and hurried to the double doors at the back of the Gym. Staightening his hair and smoothing down his clothes, the slender leader shoved the doors open and strode into the gym. "So?" He boomed, his voice echoing around the room. "Your here for a battle, I take it?" He spoke the usual words, still enjoying intimidating the Trainer's. And just to be original, he decided to add a little more. "I am Haru, the electric type leader, and the first of the cheyenne gym leaders! You may think you have what it takes, but if you fail this, you can never become a master. So... Two on two, three Pokémon each? Only the challenger is allowed to switch out? Sound fair?" He asked.
"Ref!" He barked. No sooner had he said this, a middle aged man clad in black and white striped clothes hurried into the arena, a whistle in his mouth, and two flags in either hand, one red and one green. "In the red corner!" He yelled. "Challenger Britney!" Lord knows how he knew her name. He was creepy like that. And that moustache looked suspiciously like a Weedle in disguise... "In the Blue corner! Leader Haru!" Haru looked cocky and not bothered. "Okay... Beeeegin!"
There was a sudden flash of light, and with agility as fast as lightning, Haru hurled two Pokéballs into the air and caught them again effortlessly. In front of him weere his Plusle and Minun holding hands. "Plus!" "Min!" They said, in perfect unison. "Your move." Said Haru.

Britney's alter personality was kicking in, you know the one where she gets a little different. Maybe it was due to this gym Leaders "personality" but something set it off. "No I came in here to ask you for a date" she said smiling in a calm sarcastic voice. "So I'm assuming that you want to battle me?" she said sarcastically again tilting her head.
"I am Haru, the electric type leader, and the first of the cheyenne gym leaders! You may think you have what it takes, but if you fail this, you can never become a master. So... Two on two, three Pokémon each? Only the challenger is allowed to switch out? Sound fair?
She smiled at his ever so kind words. "You can call me Britney, two on two sounds great to me, but your going to have some trouble so your welcome to switch out your Pokemon" her smile now starting to fade as she stood with one hand on her hip. She watched as the gym leaders Pokémon were released. "Your Pokémon are soooooo cute!" she said in a high pitched tone. "why don't you check out mine" her voice quickly going back to her more calm matured voice.
Two pokeballs dropped off of Britney's waist and two red lights formed somewhat large figures. "Go Seviper, Go Rhyhorn."she said as the two Pokémon formed. The snake Pokémon histed evilly at its opponents and Rhyhorn blankly watched them. "Alright Rhyhorn lets get close to that Minum and use your horn Drill attack." it rushed toward the Pokémon and stopped only to quickly turn its head and shove a spinning horn at the Pokémon. "Seviper use your Poison tail on Plusle" it nodded and threw itself in front of the Pokémon tail first.

Haru laughed at Britney's comment, and he would've considered it too if she wasn't being sarcastic about it. Knowing his experience with challengers, they tended to act rude in order to zone in better on the situation. After all, a Gym Battle was a unique experience. Nothing like fighting a normal trainer, and you gained much more experience from it than normal. Which is why that he had to put as much pressure on the challenger so she wouldn’t win the Gym Battle.
But that Rhyhorn would be a problem…
“You’ll have to do better than that if you want to win. My Pokémon simply can’t be hit with attacks like that.” Haru pointed out, watching with an amused grin as both Lightning and Thunder quickly dodged both attacks. They somehow ended up right next to each other as they exchanged glances, placing their backs against the other so they could get a good look at the Seviper and Rhyhorn.
“Stay where you are for now. But use Growl while you’re at it. “ The Gym Leader watched with a colder expression, showing no sympathy for Britney while he folded his arms. Thunder and Lightning both let out their loudest growls, severely lowering both of their attack power unless they found some way to block it. Which was doubtful, seeing that neither of them had hands that could reach their ears. But even that wouldn’t help it much, because it was more than just growling. It was just acting cute as well, so they wouldn’t look like the annoying mice that they were.

"I cant believe how quick your Pokemon are my eyes can barley keep up with them." she said with the motives of that statement unclear. she put a hand on one hip looking at the two electric Pokemon studying them carefully. "They feed off of each other" she though to herself trying to find the source of there Power.
Seviper and Rhyhorn both looked at the questionably as they let out there tiny growls. In some ways it was intimidating but in others it was just so cute, either way there attack power was lowered. They looked at each other trying to think of a way to separate the Pokemon, but they were to quick to get alone.
"Well it looks like I am going to have to do much better than that aren't I?" she said flashing a slight smile. "Rhyhorn why don't we tear this place up a little?" she said still smiling but now at the rock Pokemon. It nodded as if it already knew what to do. It lifted its body up and threw itself into the ground creating sharp rocks to come flying up. He used his head to hit the rocks straight at the Mice Pokemon at an alarmingly fast speed. It was his Stone Edge attack. (I think that is how stone edge would work for Rhyhorn )
Meanwhile without a command Seviper slowly slid over to Minum trying to Wrap itself around the tiny Pokemon's legs, it was almost stalking its prey.

Thunder and Lightning each let a tiny gasp of shock escape from their lips before getting into an extreme dodge mode, the two were nearly perfectly in sync. One made a jump to dodge several rocks while the other attempted too, but ended up getting overwhelmed by the flurry of rocks and was knocked onto the ground. Unfortunately that was Thunder, who had more in store for him than he could imagine. Lightning made a smooth landing to the ground and whirled around in shock to see her pal injured, struggling to get back onto his feet with a weary look at the Rhyhorn.
“I didn’t expect your Rhyhorn to know such an advanced Rock type move…You really came here prepared with as many advantages you could get, huh?” Haru gave an annoyed sigh at Britney, as if thinking about his next moves when it was suddenly interrupted by a high pitched squeal. Thunder had been wrapped by the Seviper! Struggling against the snakes grip while sparks danced along his cheeks.
’I wonder if this’ll work…I’ve never tried it before, but there’s a first time for everything. ‘ The Gym Leader thought as Thunder struggled with the urge to shock this snake silly. Lightning was quick to react with a fierce Growl at the Seviper, but her growl was loud enough to be heard by the Rhyhorn as well. Since she was also his opponent as well, there was still a reason for him to fear her.
“Use Quick Attack on Seviper.” Haru ordered, watching with a mischievous spark in his eyes. Leaving Britney to wonder what he could’ve been planning with that one move, but he wasn’t done yet.
“Thunder, use Spark!” He called, possibly his most surprising move of the day. With Lightning Rod in effect, surely he must be mistaken in his actions. Oh! But he looked so serious.
Lightning kept her movements quick, but paced herself well. As a Gym Leader’s Pokemon, she was well trained to make the best of her abilities by harsh endurance training. Thunder felt more sparks gather around his cheeks, and danced around his body. And with is body being squeezed to tightly by the Seviper, she was more than likely to feel them as well. Unfortunetly, there was no room to actually make the Physical part of the attack, but that was all fine with Haru. There was a 30% chance of paralysis, and with Lightning to back him up, that Seviper was in for something.

She simply watched as Ryhorn preformed his powerful attack, it was almost fun to watch the small electric mouses run and dodge around the field that seemed to now be filled with sharp rocks. Not even the slightest bit of emotion was shown when the thunder was hit by the sharp rocks, all Britney did was move a hand through here hair.
“I didn’t expect your Rhyhorn to know such an advanced Rock type move…You really came here prepared with as many advantages you could get, huh?”
"Well usually when a Pokemon has an advanced trainer the Pokemon tends to be advanced two." she said smiling as the Minum struggled to get up. "You look a little frustrated though are you Ok?" she said almost pretending to be interested, while Seviper tightly wrapped itself around the mouse Pokemon who had already took a hard hit.
Ryhorn was stomping his feet to get ready for his next attack and from the loud stomps he was unable to hear the little growl that that the Pokemon had let out. But the Seviper was obviously distracted by its growl, being able to hear it loud and clear. His eyes were still fixated on the Pokemon as it came at it with a quick attack. BANG, was the noise that could be heard as The Plusle slammed into Seviper. His body wrapped even tighter around Thunder as he slid across the gym floor.
"Uh, great Sevipers in trouble" she said as she watched the Minum start to spark. Trying to make sure the Plusle didn't do any further harm to Seviper she called out to her rock pokemon. "Use take down attack on the Plusle!" Ryhorn nodded and charged at the Pokemon. Meanwhile Seviper more tightly wrapped itself around the Pokemon but sparks overcame its body, making it now unable to move!. That 30% chance kicked in awfully quick. Sevipers body was locked, but luckily very tightly around Thunder. "Seviper try and use your poison tail on Thunder" she said as the loose end of his tail started to move slightly.

Haru was a little bit surprised when the Seviper managed to pull out her poisonous tail from the tangled mess the two Pokémon were in. There really was no hope for Thunder when he was still tangled in that Wrap, occasionally giving him a painful squeeze to force him to gasp for air. During one of his breaths for air, the Poison Tail struck him right on his head, the toxins seeping into his body but not affecting him with a status condition. Muy painful, however.
"Lightning!" Haru shouted, beginning to tense up at the sight of the powerhouse Rhyhorn coming in even closer with a horn attack. For something made of rocks, it could go fast once it got started. But it would be hard to get that speed again if forced to make a turn, something both Lightning and Haru knew. The only problem was that Seviper was still close by, and could make a physical attack on her easy. But alas, it was the only way for her to make a worthwhile dodge, so with a quick leap she was soon on top of the Seviper's head. Sliding on down through her body with a grin, matching Thunders gleeful expression.
Though she wasn't attacking, she was trying her very best in order to pull Thunder free from the serpents grasp. Which shouldn't be all that hard, considering that she was more than three times their size, and possibly at a higher level than they were. Yeah. No prob. But Haru had other plans, still a little worried about any attacks that these two Pokémon might deal against his duo.
"Both of you, use Growl!" Haru was quick to react, not wanting a perfect situation like this to go to waste. What good would these Pokémon be if their attack power couldn't go any lower? Eh, but that still didn't help the situation that they were in. They needed to score some big time damage soon. And maybe they could get that opportunity if Britney decided to switch out her Rhyhorn for something easier to attack, at least, that was the plan.

Britney watched the Minum suffered in her Sevipers tight grasp . Seviper was an evil Pokémon but hearing the poor little Pokemon's growl attack, did bring out some compassion in her. Her attack was lowered at this Point, but due to Thunders lack of air its growl was not as strong as before.
Rhyhorn looked down at the ground curiosuly. "I think I was just attacking a Pokemon, I could have sworn it was just hear?" he thought to himself in his bright ways. Meanwhile the quick Plusle was tugging away at Sevipers skin that was very tightly wrapped around Minum, but a dry material was forming on its little paws. That material was Sevipers dead skin, that she was now pealing onto the Pokemon, curing all status problems.
She hissed in joy as her new skin shined in the light of the large gym. With out a second thought Seviper went in for a Bite on the small mouse Pokémon that was still tugging at her shiny body. "I don't remember telling you to use that attack" Britney mumbled loud enough for the Seviper to slightly hear. "But anyways why don't you tilt your body down Seviper" she said with a large smile on her face.
The Seviper tilted its large curled body downward so that the top of Thunders head was now facing the right wall of the gym. "What is she doing?" Seviper thought to herself in total curiosity as she was still going for a bite attack. "Your turn Rhyhorn, use your horn drill on Thunder" he nodded as he charged toward the trapped Pokémon with a spinning horn on his head. This situation seemed like a deadly collision waiting to happen for all 4 Pokémon that were now gathered in a group.

OOC: Dang that Horn Drill! But remember, there’s a reason that its only 30% accurate.
I just need to think of the reason. D: Err…Maybe its sloppy? Or the horn is too short that it’s easy to dodge? Idunno.
BIC:
Haru was left speechless for the moment, watching with utmost curiosity while Seviper tilted her body to the right. With Thunder right in the middle, cringing his head instead to try and bide the pain away as more sparks shot out from his cheeks. All of the pressure was beginning to get to him, and the urge to do something soon was quickly controlling him. The Wrap attack had become nearly painless by now, but he was left feeling trapped and insecure.
Even the Bite attack on Lighting wasn’t hurting her as much as it should’ve, land she couldn’t help but smile through whatever pain she received. Though she had no experience with the Horn Drill move, it looked just as bad as Stone Edge. But all in all, it wasn’t that intimidating. ’I’ve got to do something before that move hits. Buy us some time, so stay calm…And hang on you two. ‘ He thought to himself as he took in a deep breath, waiting for just the right moment to stun both Rhyhorn and Seviper.
“Both of you, use Thunder Wave to blind that Rhyhorn!” He called, knowing that if he was really lucky, the attack would hit the Seviper instead. Or the attack would cancel all together, since it required quite a bit of focus and energy in order to get that One-Hit-KO that it created. Lightning and Thunder nodded, despite being trapped by both of the Sevipers limbs, they knew they had to create an attack bright enough to stun the charging Pokemon. With their special ability, Plus and Minus, their sparks grew brighter and brighter until they turned a dark shade of blue, shooting out at both the Seviper and the Rhyhorn.

Britney was starting to show signs of frustration. She thought for sure her Rhyhorn had that attack down pat. But the Brighter the attack of the two Pokemon shined the less Britney could see the outcome of what was about to happen. The light started to dull, and Britney stood on her tip toes to try to get a good look at what had happened.
The attack had hit! But not the Minum, it had hit Seviper dead center in the middle of it's body. The tight grip seviper had once had on Thunder quickly loosened and she dropped to the ground along with Seviper. Since horn drill was a KO attack it had completely knocked Seviper out. "Seviper!" Britney yelled as she watched it fall to the ground.
Britney's emotions quickly clicked from cold and uncaring to warm and loving. "Return seviper, you did a great job!" she said calling the Pokemon back to its pokeball. "Well your so good you don't even need your Pokemon to beat me." she said giving a sincere smile.
She then regained her focus, thinking of which Pokemon to use next. She couldn't use her Starmie, because obviously he would be dominated by the electric Pokemon, and Mareep wouldn't really have any affect..... she knew the perfect Pokemon. "Alright go Gaslty!" she said throwing the Pokeball into the air and releasing the Pokemon.
He levitated on the field sticking his tung out mockingly. "Alright Gastly use your confuse ray on Plusle!" he nodded and seemed to completely disappear. "Rhyhorn lets try out your oh so effective attack Stone Edge" he gave off a slight smile, and preformed the same routine as last time sending the rocks flying at the Pokemon. As this was happening Gastly appeared in front of Plusle shining a bright light at the Pokemon which was his confuse Ray.

Haru was left confused by the sudden change in Britney’s nature, but decided that it was all because she was a girl. Girls PMS’d, and that made them pretty darn moody. There was no questioning it, but it seemed more drastic than a swift mood swing.
“That’s what you get for using an attack as strong as that in a double battle…” He muttered, not even caring about her sincere smile. He didn’t care, because it wasn’t as if he was going to see her again. Like she would actually become a Pokémon Master.
It was yet again a battle where Thunder and Lightning were at a level disadvantage, but they still had their speed. The only problem was that they put an awful lot of energy into that Thunder Wave attack, and chances were they wouldn’t be able to do something like that again. Lightning was the first to be caught off guard by the Gastly’s wily ways, the Confuse Ray sinking into her eyes as she began to dance around uncertainly. Suddenly she bolted away from both the Stone Edge and the Gastly and straight into the wall. Falling right on her back with a tiny squeak of pain, not quite understanding what happened except that her head hurt.
Haru sighed, not liking confusion in the least. But now he had a Stone Edge to worry about, and Thunder was the only target around that could be hit. He tried to keep up with the attack like before, but with all of that damage the Seviper gave him weighed him down. In the middle of the attack he was left on the ground with multiple wounds on his body from the sudden rock type attack.
’ Great, now I’m forced to attack the Rhyhorn. Because normal attacks don’t have an effect on Gastly, and any electric attacks that might work on it will be drawn to Rhyhorn. Damnit.’ Haru raised a hand to his forehead to try and think of the best thing to do. Chances were that Lightning could hear him. But he couldn’t trust her to do something that might involve her attacking herself.
“Lightning, use Helping Hand on Thunder. Wait until it takes effect, and then use Quick Attack.” Haru explained, not wanting to go into details. But Thunder tended to attack before Helping Hand’s full potential kicked in. As soon as Lighting was back on her feet, she started making a drunken cheer; sparks were flying as she cheered her team mate on.
And then walked into the wall again.
Thunder’s attack stat went up once more, and shot out a terrifying Growl of his own free will into the air. It was so the Rhyhorn would be wearier of his attacks from now on, because that last one was a fluke. A Critical Hit, which explained why it took so much out of him. As soon as he could, he shot out like a lightning bolt to ram into the heavy rock Pokémon with his Quick Attack.
