Aurora stepped into the hot springs, putting down her black hood, her soft, black hair flowed with the calming wind; everything just seemed to be different here. "I'm here for Pokemon.." She reminded herself, trying not to let any distractions interfere with her mission.
After all, she wanted to be part of Team Death and a strong team was everything to her. Here, even though it was calm, and she could easily relax, Aurora had to keep an eye out for Pokemon.

A small head popped out of the shifting sand, beady black eyes staring at the trainer curiously before disappearing once again. It happened so quickly, it was doubtful Aurora even spotted the exchange. It was a brisk day, but the heated springs warmed the air up considerably the humidity making most hairstyles fall and frizz, but most people lounging in the hot springs paid no mind to this fact and simply enjoyed the warm of the magma heated pools of water.
Within moments the Diglett popped his head up once again, this time right in front of Aurora. The brown mole Pokémon had most likely caused the trainer to trip, much to the Digletts surprise. It glanced at the trainer, before surfacing in another spot and speaking.
<Battle? Feel up for one?> it questioned, able to tell this girl was a trainer.
A Diglett has appeared!

Aurora looked down upon the Diglett. She admired them greatly and wouldn't mind catching him. "Alright.." Aurora spoke as she stepped back, releasing her Marill.
"Go, defense curl, then water gun!" Marill formed a ball, protecting herself some as she blasted a shot of water at the Diglett.

The Diglett grinned at the Marill in a friendly way, though he certainly wasn’t in the mood to be a little friendly anymore. She had just reached a Defense Curl, when he countered with a Growl, knowing that even if she was cuddled up like that, she would still be able to hear him. Though he wasn’t one for predicting things, he saw her uncurl herself in order to shoot a small squirt of water. The attack had surprised him, as he fled in terror underground in order to dodge the attack. It was more of a ‘duck’, as he reappeared in an instant.
<Agh! What was that?> He spat out in his surprised, angry voice. Sure, he looked cute, but he hated being caught off guard like that. But he wasn’t going to get too angry about it. He had enough sense to keep his cool, at least for now.
The most he could do right now was watch the Marill carefully, or at least avoid that mouth of hers. From the look of her, she didn’t look like the type that could move well on her feet. ’So maybe if I scare her, she won’t be able to use that water move! She’ll be so scared.’ He thought with a twinkle in his eye, ducking underground once more to reappear behind the Marill. Once he was out, he screamed at the top of his lungs with his astonishing Astonish attack.

Sure, the Astonish scared the Marill up into the air a bit but, because of her thick fat, she fell back down, only to bounce, and thus, start giggling happily. "Water gun!"
Aurora commanded, watching Marill lean down on the ground for a more straight shot of water.

The Diglett didn't have time to duck out of the way of the Water Attack this time. He got squirted right in the face, and he spluttered as the attack took quite the damage on him. He ducked back into the hole and sat there, trying to dry himself.
Psh! So much for that. . . Maybe I didn't scare her well enough that time. I'll try again, he thought to himself before popping back up behind the Marill and letting out another horrific wail in an attempt to frighten the Marill with Astonish.

Once again, Marill just jumped into the air when astonished, and bounced on her tail and thick fat, giggling more. [Hehe, your funny!] She squealed as Aurora called out another attack. "Water gun!"
Marill landed on her tail, only to shoot another blast of water at the Diglett.

[OOC: Thick fat only protects against Heat and Ice. . . I'm trying to sound superior, I'm just confused. @.@]
The Diglett tried a different tactic. He managed to avoid the Water Gun by simply moving out of its path, then he started to wiggle back and forth. It looked rather comical until several large boulders rose into the air and started flying toward the silly little blue mouse Pokemon.

[Ooc: Thick fat protects against any physical attacks. Besides, Marill wasn't 'protected' but it, meaning didn't lose HP, she just bounced off of it, that's all.]
"Quick, dodged then water gun again!" Aurora called, watching the rocks carefully to know the moves of the Diglett. After all, she wanted to capture it and better know the moves now then never.
Marill quickly rolled out of the rock's path, just in time to blast another cold water gun at the Diglett.

OOC: It will raise resistance to both Physical and Special versions of Fire and Ice type moves. Click here if you don't believe meBIC: The Diglett had sensed the cold blast of water, and had quickly dived to the right after being touched by its power. He had a natural dislike for any type of Water, even though he drank the stuff to survive. But touching it. Cold. And wet. Never stable. It kind of grossed him out. Shuddering from his new position, he popped his head back up into the air to take a good look at where he ended up. Since he couldn¡¯t sense where the Marill was from underneath.
¡¯There!¡¯ His eyes turned to slits as he dived back down after seeing her. He had to avoid being hit at all costs. So this time, he charged right for her once more, this time a little deeper, and popped up a little to the left to use a Scratch attack.

[Ooc: ahh! okay]
Marill was hit, only to tumble backwards and then finally bounce right back up. Aurora shook her head and called the next attack, "Water gun!" Marill obeyed quickly, rolling forward to shoot a blast of water gun at the Diglett.

The super effective Water Gun had blown him right in the face, right when his mouth was open. In his surprise, the water began to fill his mouth, his stomach, and the rest of his body with incredible force until he simply couldn’t take it anymore. There were swirls in his eyes as the attack came to an end, having fainted from the hit mostly because he couldn’t breathe normally with all of that water inside of him.
But have no fear, but he began spitting and coughing it out seconds later. It all flowed right out of him, his body rejecting it faster than a marriage proposal that Brock would give to Nurse Joy. Ah. But things happen.
Marill gains a level. Capture or move on?

Aurora looked at the Diglett, then shook her head, she had no need to capture the Pokemon. After all, she had come here to train, not to collect. Carefully, Aurora returned her Marill and let out her Celebi. Who when appeared, decided to fly around Aurora head and then float beside her patiently looking for more Pokemon to fight.

::slowpoke::
Ah, the Hotsprings. Where the steam was overflowing, and the waters were just ripe enough to soak yourself in. The rocks were always pleasant, and the weather didn’t seem to matter in a place like this. It was as if the place wasn’t even connected to the rest of the world.
Much like a random Slowpoke that was fishing around one of the extra steamy pools of water. Right now, her tail was just about to burn off, letting a juicy aroma flow right through the air. Several meat-eating Pokémon were hiding around the rocks, waiting for her to just kneel over so they could sink their fangs into her. Mmmmm, nothing like cooked Slowpoke.

Aurora looked over to the slowpoke. It seemed to had been relaxing and she didn't really care to fight it due to that manner. After all, the Pokemon was no threat, so why fight?
Aurora looked ahead, thinking even if she did fight the slowpoke, it would be useless to her, even for capture and storage. She walked past, looking for better Pokemon to fight.

Steam rose from the hotsprings. With the cold, it was no surprise that there were a lot of Pokemon out enjoying the warmth. However, most of them hid when they heard a trainer coming around. There was only one Pokemon that was actually willing to engage the trainer.
A Carvanha popped it's head above the surface of one of the hotsprings. It didn't really live there, but it had a flying friend that was around somewhere. A Pidgeotto. He had carried the pirahna Pokemon to the springs to relax a little bit.
He watched the trainer walk by, and when she was in line with him, he twirled around and splashed some hot water in her direction with his tail, snickering. He had found just swimming around in the hotspring rather boring, and this trainer was the perfect outlet for his boredom.

Aurora shrieked, and then glared at the Pokemon. "Look you, I don't have time for games!" She growled in her throat and threw out a Pokeball. It was time to train her Pokemon with this mischievous opponent. "Dratini, thunder wave then wrap!" She called out.
Dratini let out volts of electricity and then went to wrap herself around the Pokemon.

The Carvahna snickered to himself for a couple of moments until he was shot with the weak electric blast; it was fairly painful, since the water around him was only helping to amplify the attack’s power. Not only that, instant paralysis. He snarled in complaint at the leaping Dratini, not hesitating for one second to use a Scary Face on him. Perhaps it would make the little dragon think twice before using a lame physical attack like that against something like him.
<You sure you want to come closer?> He hissed, snapping some of his crooked fangs at the Dratini. Clearly, he was hostile and in no mood to make jokes. His itch for relieving his boredom was quickly turning into anger. Not good for any opponent against something labeled as the ‘Savage Pokemon’.

Aurora glared at the Pokemon and a small smirk went across her face. "Dratini, use dragon rage now!"
Dratini took a step from the scary face but, as loyal as she was, Dratini wasn't going to let a little scary face stop her from kicking this Pokemon's butt. So, very quickly, Dratini roared up and shot a vicious dragon rage towards the Carvanha.

The Carvanha snarled in his ferocious way, splashing his tail in the hot waters as a sign of protest as he was attacked by the powerful Dragon Rage. It caused a mini explosion in the Hot Springs, kicking up hot water all over the steamy rocks where Aurora was giving orders. Though it might’ve been a little unpleasant for her, it was about to get somewhat worse.
”PIDGEOTTTOOO!” A cry went out from the skies, having heard the commotion from the distance, and instantly soared above the scene. His stern eye caught the sight of an injured Carvanha, and there was only one of them around this type of place. His best buddy was down there, injured because of some dragon. Carvanha was in a bit of a shock from the amount of damage done from the Dragon Rage, and was helplessly floating on the surface, vulnerable to a final hit.
But the Pidgeotto wasn’t going to let that happen. Diving down at the Dratini, he faked a Tackle at the little thing, curving back up until he could spin around and face the group, so Carvanha was right behind him, and out of the range of fire. He positioned himself so he would not only harm the Dratini, but the trainer as well. He cooked up a strong Whirlwind with his two wings, a mini tornado built up from between them as he beat his wings, faster and stronger, until he shot the charge right at the group, fast winds were unleashed upon them. Hell was breaking loose as hot water was mixed in with his strange concoction.
