ooc|Why Not? Electivire was beaming teamed up and I wanted to heal him? o.o Clarify why it's stupid? =/ sorry ;_; BiC| Jay was nervous and even a bit scared at the fact that he trained his Pokémon and he figured this battle would be super easy, yet he could hear both of his Pokémon breathing heavily in the darkness. Without having any lights it was impossible to see, he never trained his Pokémon to fight during the dark which made them feel weird and scared. Jay had to command them with confidence showing them that they could still win and overcome this dark trainer. "Okay;Thunder! Mizu use Water Pulse!"
He had a small plan in his head, if Mizu could just hold out a little bit longer he could make a two versus one battle and blind-side whoever was left on the battlefield. He closed his eyes and listened for the commands to take place.
The Sand Attack hit! The sandy bits went into the electric pokemons eyes casuing him to lose accuracy, he pulled out of his Low Kick and slammed onto the floor. Kama began to spin his arms charging up electricity, He released the large load of electricity toward the heavily breathing Mightyena.
Mizu got pushed onto the floor as the Absol with his crazy damage and his swords attack pushed Mizu to the edge of health, Torrent activated and his water power increased, The Blastoise created a large ball of water and tried to slam it into the Absol's torso.

OOC: hangonwaitasec. You might be right. I looked it up. Taunt only hits 1 Pokemon. And I was confused about that little part. For some reaosn, when I typed that I was thinking that it was attacking Mizu and everything but...Yeah...sorreh. I was just getting frusterated because there was so much going on in this gym battle that I didn't understand and. uh. yeah. XP BIC:
Shadow was quick to scamper away into the shade of the darkness, his eyes glistening with the chilling thought that he was going to be the next to faint. His fur was starting to get dirty and ruffled, he could feel it as he gave it a good shake to try and clear away his nerves. Instincts were beginning to go around like crazy, as if some type of danger was going to come out of the blue. And indeed, there wasn’t much warning except a bright burst of light, only flickering out of the corner of his eyes as he made a speedy dodge to the side. But lightning was an unpredictable foe and a powerful one as well.
From where he was standing, his fur was rising up from the static electricity from the amount of power put into that one attack. It was so condensed, and not with a very wide range, so luckily for him, he was able to get away this time.
The Water Pulse was amazingly powerful coming from the higher leveled, Torrent powered Blastoise. Sure, she had only suffered from one miserable Hydro Pump from the cover of the darkness, but this was a little more than what she was used to. It was condensed water, in its purest and most painful form in the shape of a round sphere, jabbing her right into the side and sending her through the air. Midnight cried out in pain, but somehow, she found it in her to make a landing on all fours. Weakened and distraught, but willing and able to battle.
“Midnight, use Taunt on Blastoise. Shadow, use another Swagger on Electivire.” Rey was looking like crazy from left to right, trying to extend as many defensive tactics as possible. Didn’t that wish move kick in a while back? Meaning that Kama was now their biggest threat, and even worse, Mizu could easily use it on himself, with the help of Protect to stall for time. Damnit! But he could still trap them, so they could beat it out in a type of sudden death. He could hear his two Pokemon growling from their spots, assuring him that they were certainly in action. But there was no way of telling if they would work, for he was a blind man in this field. Just as Jay was.

Jay quickly thinking about his tactics and trying to remember everything that was happening and realized that his sight was the most important thing in the world. "Okay." Jay said as he took deep breaths in and out trying to see through the darkness, first off Mizu was close to fainting and Electivire was about to be confused.
The two non-damaging moves would be the only thing that would maybe let this battle end out victoriously. "Okay, Mizu use Hydro Pump! Electivire, Quick Attack!"
Kamas attack increase significantly as it became confused, the electric type accidently hit himself thanks to being confused, his health was still in good condition because he just came out but Jay really didn't want to use more then three pokemon.
Mizu felt the taunt attack only letting him using damaging moves for the next few turns. Mizu released his cannons from his back and launched it at the growling noises. It was pretty much point blank, and it was hard to even win in this type of scenario.
"Come on HIT!" Jay yelled as he clenched his fist.

The sounds were ever clear to Gym Leader Rey’s ears. The battle was keeping him on edge, and the possibility of him losing was ever growing, but somehow he managed to stay together with his two Pokemon. The darkness was working to his advantage, and the effects of the confusion were only heightened in this darkness. It could only make the confusion status worse for Kama. You needed to think in order to make it through here victoriously. The torch at the very entrance of the room was the only light provided in here, and sometimes, he often found himself staring at it with wonder. It was rather distracting, especially because it was the only thing one could manage to see in here.
”Midnight, show your power with Swords Dance. Shadow, dodge it.” Rey was trying with the best of his ability to avoid using the word ‘try’ in his sentences. Whenever he said that, an awful lot of pressure was going to be put on his Pokemon. They needed his confidence in order to win this battle. The Absol’s attack strength grew even more, she stood perfectly still within the darkness, only the faint sound of her footsteps could be heard beneath the roar of the Hydro Pump. She felt a light mist cover her, but otherwise she was unharmed. Shadow wasn’t lucky. He was hit by both cannons, and was flung straight into the wall. A shrill whimper escaped his lips through his shock, before fainting on the ground. The sound was more than enough for Rey to tell what had happened, and he silently returned the Mightyena.
”Now use Pursuit.” Rey spoke with a small grunt, trying to hide the emotion in his voice, and it came out in a bitter sound. The Absol agreed, a dark, glowing energy surrounded her, before she completely disappeared from her previous position. She reappeared directly in front of Mizu, where those deadly cannons couldn’t reach her, and attempted to strike the Light Blastoise’s softer underbelly. [/center]

Jay was very quiet, he listened to the battle that was happening. A large thud was heard, some firing of an aqua jet and it was one disaster after the rest. He was unsure of who fainted and who was still left. He gulped trying to listen, he heard electricity sparking and drips of water hitting the floor which told Jay that his two pokemon were still alive.
Quick movements could be heard and a second large thud was heard, He had a feeling Mizu just fainted. "Damn." Jay said as he returned his Light Blastoise and figured that it was Kama left and a canine pokemon.
Jay had the perfect plan, he knew that Kama had Focus Blast, which would be his only hope. "Okay, Focus blast!"
Kama created a light blue orb of energy giving a flash of vision allowing everyone and everything to be seen, he then released it at the Absol hoping it would be a direct hit. The entire battlefield turned back into darkness as Kama moved slightly to the right moving his position so his opponent wouldn't know where exactly he was.

The loud thump from Mizu’s K.O. brought a great sense of relief over the Gym Leader’s brow. He could finally rest easy, sensing a one on one battle approaching, and he happened to come through in times like this in the past. There wasn’t any reason why it wouldn’t happen again. Having battled through the darkness for most of his training, he could easily hear Jay’s voice swearing out of the black. It made him chuckle, a soft, tired one that was almost sad. His old bones and muscles were starting to feel sore and achy, by merely standing; he wasn’t feeling up to his full potential. The thing that kept him so hyped up and invigorated was his Pokemon, battling with him. For Midnight, and anyone else in his team, he wasn’t going to disrespect them by sitting down, while they fight tooth and nail.
”It sounds like we’ve both been put in a tight spot. Maybe now, we can move on!” He shouted encouraging words at Midnight, who barely seemed to acknowledge them, besides from a slight smile. But who could see that in this darkness? It slipped away like the rest of the darkness at Kama’s bright Focus Blast attack, a swirling energy of light appeared to gather around the Electivire, and she instantly didn’t like it.
She instinctively took a step back, trying to adjust to the sudden change in light, along with her trainer. They were both caught off guard for this one, sudden movement, but they knew they had to move. They had to get out of the way of that orb! Somehow, she heard Rey through all of her nervousness and anticipation, something about using Quick Attack. With a grunt, she sprung into action. Becoming a faint blur to the naked eye, and with a sharp gain in speed, she leapt into the air, right over the passing orb of light, and descended into darkness once again. She wasn’t done yet; however, she wanted to find Kama before he used another one of those things! She had a rough landing, falling with a loud thud, but soon her footsteps became as light as air. Maneuvering randomly through the darkness, hoping that she might run into him with a direct attack.

The dark room changed everything, it was quiet and cold and only breathing could be heard along with foot steps. Jay knew that he would have to trust that Kama would know exactly what to do, all the time they spent together would have to suffice, for this battle.
Kama, The electric pokemon knew that the Absol would use a Physical attack. With this knowledge, he used Light Screen trying to up his defense. Kama listened for his trainers command, nothing was said.
Quick footsteps could be heard as the Electivire could tell that he was about to get attacked. Kama began to charge up electricity causing a glow quickly, as Kama was directly hit by the Quick Attack, the electric pokemon released a Thunder at the fast moving Absol.
From Jays point of view as he could see was a small glow around his pokemon, a quick blur attacking him and a shot of electricity at the blur, he could only hope that this attack would hit.

The Light Screen did nothing to serve the Electivire's defense, and with grace and ease, the Absol slided right through it as easy as a bowling ball rolling down the lane. She was certain that she was going to make contact with this giant, fuzzy beast, seeing the tips of his flashy yellow fur sparking with electricity let her know even through the darkness of his position. She smirked. Her claws just barely scratching the surface of his skin when a her own fur began to unexpectedly rise, and then a hell of a Thunder attack came loose.
She was too close to evade, despite it being a powerful, and unpredictable attack. Once tall and mighty, and now reduced to a wounded mop on the floor, panting so hard that her lungs hurt. With a snort, as if recognizing her own defeat, she let herself fall to the floor, awaiting the safe retreat of the Pokeball.
"You did well. Don't shame me by losing at the next Gym." Rey spoke through the shield of darkness, flicking a switch so a path of torches would send a soft glow of light throughout the room. It was just dim enough to not cause any amount of shock to the eyes. Midnight was returned. A dark colored badge was handed to Jay, along with the prize money.

The room illuminated somewhat as he finally saw his opponent, "Thanks for the awesome battle!" Jay said as he grabbed the badge quickly and headed through the underground passageway to his final gym!
