Sea green hair danced in the wind as Miku stepped out of the lab. Nice Professor. To bad he's young. She grinned at her thought as she tossed a pokeball in her hand. I need to name you missy. She paused in thought at the bottom steps of the lab front door. I think Rin will suit you fine. With that, her high black boots stepped lightly on the dirt road that lead to route one. "Well there's no use for you to stay in the ball now I guess." She shrugged and opened the ball, letting out a blazing white light and a turtwig. The tiny leaf pokemon yawned softly then looked up at her trainer. <And who might you be?> Rather rude if I might add? "Heh, I'm your new trainer and trust me when I say you don't want to be on my bad side." She grinned darkly as she calmly walked past the pokemon down the road. <What do you know about me? How do you know that I don't want on your bad side?> The turtle like pokemon snapped back as it followed behind her. Miku stopped and faced the pokemon. "I know people and they don't like snot nosed pokemon and so far you are one. And I suggest you get an attitude check before I send you to those people in a lovely contraption called a pokeball." She held out the red ball before turning back to the route and carrying on. Rei followed silently behind at her heels.

OOC: Ohhh, them Rare Candies made Rei a lot stronger. Bic: A pink bubble floated carelessly through the sky. Its bright color contrasting with the baby blue sky around Route One was certainly an eye grabber. But as it came closer and closer to the ground, it looked more like a balloon. Then the figure of a Pokemon came into view as his panicked expression came into view. A young Hoppip grabbed hold of a nearby tree branch as the gentle wind calmed down. His light weight body wavering back and forth, he felt safe enough to let go. With the two helicopter blade like leaves upon his head, falling from great heights was no big deal for this Pokemon. "Hoppip hoppip hoppip." He chimed to himself as he hovered right past Miku and her Turtwig. He didn't even realize that they existed right below him, all he knew was that he suddenly felt like taking a short ride down the path of Route One. ::hoppip::

Miku was now having a lovely time in the calm serenity of Route One. Rei had finally shut up about her trainer after she was told she could of have a snotty 12 year old instead and that she believed that the lab would understand an exchange for a new Pokémon.
"Now... Lets get you on my good side shall we... All we need is a wild Pokémon. Preferably weak because then I can laugh when it kicks your butt." She was of course joking and looked over her shoulder to see a smiling turtwig. Seems they were warming up to each other.
"Hoppip hoppip hoppip."
"Here you go Rei. A hoppip is perfect for you to fight. Though I'm not sure they'd be good you the team.... Oh well, we can sell em if we have too." She grinned. That's how she worked. She didn't want anything that she couldn't gain from on her team so she'd just sell or give it away if it turned out so. "Use withdraw then tackle it when it gets low enough for a good hit. It seems oblivious to us so far." Hazel eyes drifted to the Tiny Leaf Pokémon who gave a short nod.
Rei tucked herself in her shell. She felt the ground, absorbing the soil into her shell. Her shell was actually just harden soil, or so they say. She then popped back out and approached the flying hoppip from below. Slowly, slowly. She realized quickly that as the wind died down, the lower the Pokémon went. She grinned as she waited for the wind to subtle down, it didn't take long surprisingly. Then she charged and leaped into the air at the Cottonweed Pokémon.

The young Hoppip soon felt it's light body doing a somersault in midair from Rei's Tackle Attack.
<Hey, what was that far?> The young Hoppip giggled slightly, the young Pokémon seem to have thought that Rei was wanting to play tag.
<I get it now, you wanna play tag!> It cooed Splashing through the air rather swiftly in hopes of use Splash to tag the Turtwig.

Rei hit on her tackle and leaped back on contact. Her black eyes watched as the hoppip did somersaults in the air. <All is far in love and war.> She grinned to her self as she watched the hoppip carefully.
Her eyes widened slightly as she heard the word 'tag'. This was a mere child that when they get hit they automatically think it's a game. What kind of life did she leave in the lab? <Yes, it is tag isn't it?>
Miku watched and laughed out loud. "This is rich. If you can't beat this pokemon I don't know what you can." She wasn't even really watching the "fight" either. She was crying from laugher.
Rei gave a sharp glance to her trainer and sighed but when she turned her attention back the the "battle" she was in for a surprise. "Now you are in for it." She growled as the cottenweed pokemon hit her with splash. SPLASH of all things. How does that happen?
"Where's a video camera when you need it?" Miku cried as she opened a watery eye at the battle. "Okay Rei, use... Razor Leaf." She giggled.
Rei nodded and shot mini leaves from her leaf on her head at the childish pokemon. <Dodge that>

Alex was still excited about Muki allowing her to come with her. This is going to so much fun. She said smiling. She took her poke ball and looked it over. Hm, should I let her out? She thought, then she saw that Muki's Turtwig was out of her poke ball. "I guess I should let you about." She mur-mured while she was letting her Vulpix out. The Vulpix turned around, and started at me. Her little tail fluffed out. "Who are /you/?" She said in a little voice. She must be scared. "I'm Alex, your new trainer. Lets start out on a good note okay?" Alex said nicely, trying not to anger her Pokemon unlike Muki. Speaking of Muki. She thought, and turned around to see Muki was already battling. Great. "Okay." Vulpix came closer to Alex." Your going to be a friend right?" The Pokemon said to her trainer. "Of course." Alex replied.
Alex noticed the scene in front of her. She was watching Muki's battle, and just noticed how hilarious it was. She started laughing hysterically, and saw that Muki was too. Alex got up, Vulpix following, toward her friend. "That's some Turtwig you go there. Good luck." Alex said, still laughing.

<Uh-oh!> The young grass and flying Pokémon wailed as it noticed the blast of sharp leaves coming it's way. <Ouch, that's not fair!> It shouted while getting sharp cuts around it's tiny body. Hoppip used Tail Whip!<You don't play fair you meanie!> It snapped, floating over to Rei, wagging it's tail in her face. ::Female:: Soon a petite blue spider approched Alex and Vulpix, while they studied Muki and Rei's Pokémon battle. <Wow, that is what you call a funny battle!> She cooed jumping up and down in excitement. She then looked over at Alex and gave her a friendly smile. <Hey!> She greeted in her sweet voice.

Miku looked over at Alex laughing. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this is funny... She thought as she turned her attention to the battle. "Great shot Rei." She called as the razor leaf hit the hoppip.
Rei snorted at the comment the pokemon made. <I do believe I said this already but, all is fair in love and... GET YOU BUTT OUT OF MY FACE!> She snapped backing away from the pokemon.
Miku was on the ground by now and was rolling on the dirt road. "T-thanks A-Alex." She snorted as she held her gut. "Reei, use biite or sommmething." She shouted between giggles.
She's gone insane if she thinks I'm gonna bite it's butt.... But since it isn't facing me... The turtwig grinned and stopped back up. She then charged and slid under the floating pokemon and made a quick turn and leap, jaws open, ready to bite it's face... body... arms... Um... head?
Miku stood up slowly but held her knees. She peered over to Alex and saw a Surskit approach her. "Good luck to you too." She seemed to have been able to catch her breath again. She gave a short grin to the teenager.

Before the turtle could snap the little leaf pokemon in its jaws, the breeze picked up and the hoppip started to float away. <Haha, you missed! You couldn't hit a rock if it was right in front of you! Hey, wait a minute...> The oblivious little hoppip glanced around, beads of moisture dotting its face. <Ah! Help! I'm floating awayyyyy...> Soon the hoppip was simply a dot in the sky, but then the wind dropped it back down to the ground, in the distance. Being quite a weak pokemon, it lay there, fainted.
[Hoppip has fainted; Rei gained 1/2 a level!]
The surskit cocked its head in confusion. Good luck? Why? Well, it didnt matter. Trainers were pretty bad at understanding pokemon, anyway. The spider ignored the trainer and started climbing up her leg. <Whee!>

OOC: O.O Oh god. BIC: Alex nodded to Muki for the good luck. She tilted her head in confusion, and just blew it off. Soon she heard a squeak near her, and she looked down at her Vulpix, which was interested in something behind Alex."What are you looking at?" She said confused. She turned around and saw a Pokemon. Is that a, She tried to think of the right Pokemon's name, and it finally came to mind.Surskit! She congratulated herself for remembering the Pokemon's name. Soon, she felt something crawling up her leg and screamed. "Get off, get off, get off!" Alex's voice alarmed Vulpix, and she waited for Alex to give her instructions. Alex was too focused on the Surskit crawling up her leg, she almost forgot about Vulpix." Vulpix, use tail whip than ember." She said in a high voice." Hurry up please." She started to panic. The one thing that Alex didn't like was bugs, and she considered this Pokemon to be at least half bug. I mean, it looked like a spider.

Miku watched with disbelief at the fact that Rei missed the bite when it was in front of her face. She held a blank look on her face and felt no need to laugh. "You... missed that? How the crap can you miss something right in front of your face?" She spoke neither stern nor kind but gave a weak smile to her Pokémon anyways. "Oh well, it was your first battle so I'll give you some slack. Now let's go watch Alex....What the crap?!"
Both Miku and Rei stared, open jawed, at their friend and the spider. "Uh.... Hey Rei, let's go find that Hoppip again..." The turtwig nodded slightly and backed away slowly before they both speed walked in the direction that the hoppip fainted at. "It'll either be sold or your friend so be nice to it either way alright." Her hazel eyes looked at Rei with a strict look. Then she pulled out a pokeball and tossed it at the fainted cottonweed Pokémon.

The Surskit only giggled more when she noticed Alex freak out. <Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you, I just wanna play with you!> She cooed happily. <Hey, why does my body feel a little weaken now?> The Surskit asked out loud, not yet noticing that the Vulpix was making her attack power decrease. Once she did noticed the Vulpix attacking her, she felt her petite body getting heated up by the Ember Attack. <AHHHH!> She wailed out in pain as she released her grip from Alex's legs. <You'll pay for that!> She shouted in a firm voice, however her face still held a friendly smile. Bipolar much? Now standing in her battle stance the Water/Bug Pokémon swiftly fired a blast of brilliant colored bubbles at the Vulpix! ~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~ Miku's pokeball gently brushed against the young Hoppip's body, and with a bright red flash the Grass/Flying Pokémon disappeared into the pokeball without much of a fight. Miku smiled and headed back to the screaming and wailing girl she called a friend. She watched with a chuckle at the site. "Well, I'm going to continue up the road, I won't be far." She smiled and turned and began up the dirt path.
(Courtney was suppose to be next but since she hasn't been on in a month I skipped her to keep this going. Shhh)

A small worm like Pokemon popped out of the ground nearby Miku. She had been attracted by all the noise, hoping that her parents were looking for her. She was disappointed by the trainers. Oh why had she wandered away. Now she was lost.
The Diglett withdrew her head as Miku almost stepped on it. "How rude!" she said as her head popped up again. She had been through a lot and now someone was stepping on her. Well she wasn't going to stand for it. Technically she wasn't standing at all since her bottom half was underground but I digress.
Diglett burrowed underground and popped up in front of the trainer. Then it used its Astonish attack. "Take that!" she cried angrily.

Miku didn't even notice the small worm like Pokémon that popped out of the ground. She was more focused on not being seen sneaking away from the screaming teen behind her. She didn't even notice the hole that was by her foot that she could have fallen in. Just keep walking, just keep walking. She told herself in her head as she quickened her pace slightly.
Rei walked at a slightly slower pace but kept up fairly easy. She happened to notice the hole though and made sure to step over it. Never once had she seen a Diglett so why would she recognize it's hole?
When the Diglett popped up again in front on her, Miku stopped. Probably to the fact that the little worm was yelling at her for no reason. "Err..." She stared blank faced at the Pokémon.
Rei heard the yelling and jogged forward and stared blankly at the worm to. Have you ever seen a screaming worm? Quite shocking.

The Diglett was angry, but knew that it would be futile attacking a human, so she turned to it's four legged counterpart with the bushes on it's back, and weighed up the situation. The creature was bigger than her, stronger than her, scarier than her and had a type advantage. Strictly speaking, she didn't know this last part, but it was true nonetheless.
With a miniscule cry, Diglett burrowed underground again, before suddenly surfacing next to Rei, and using an angry scratch attack. The unanswered question of how Digletts use scratch was still unanswered, for the second that the scratch attack came, it was gone again, leaving Diglett not knowing if she had hit.

Miku watched as the Diglett burrowed under the ground again and waited a moment before shrugging. Odd, but nothing to get crazy about. She told herself and she began walking again. Her hazel eyes looked back to Rei who stood still. "Coming Rei?" She questioned though it wasn't really a question. She knew that Rei would come, or at least she better.
Rei shook her head and looked up at her trainer. She could feel something moving below her feet but shrugged it off and right when she took a step, the Diglett returned with an attack, scratch.
Miku watched with disbelief. Where did that thing go? Then she remembered the holes. "Rei, battle time. The Pokémon goes underground. Use razor leaf down the hole, see if it works." Though she doubted she figured trying was better then nothing.
Rei nodded and shot a bunch of sharp leaves down the hole, hoping not to clog it along the way.

Razor leaf is an attack that only goes vertically, unless in an open space, and the crazily created holes were anything but Ideal for the attack. And before there was time for another attack, Diglett popped up and used an astonish attack, before dissapearing underground again, and staying there. The Diglett in question was actually very skittish, and didn't like full frontal combat, but when no attacks came, Diglett popped up again to see what was going on.

The razor leaf was doomed from the start. If Rei was lucky one got through to the hole instead of piling the ground around her. A huff of annoyance slipping through the Grotle's maw before looking over to Miku and all she got in return was a shrug.
Then another line of threats went screaming by the turtle like pokemon. Diglett's Astonish. Before a command could be issued the worm pokemon was gone. Ugh. "Use Bite next time it comes up. Just wait for it." Miku called to her partner.
Sure enough, without the attacks the Diglett reappeared in curiosity. "Now!" A shout was heard but action was taking place before the words were formed. Rei swung around, open jawed, and lunged at the worm. Maybe she could rip it from the ground.

The Diglett peered up above it's hole, unable to resist seeing how her attack had been handled. Within the few seconds Diglett's eyes had appeared above ground level, jaws lunged towards the pokemon. The Diglett let out a strong squeal of pain, squriming at the painful and rathet tight grasp the fangs had upon it.
With a dreadful ripping sound, the Diglett was tore from the ground with the pokemon still resisiting. The brown pokemon looked like a wiggling rock hanging from Rei's jaws. It quickly thought of an attack plan despite it's terror. It used Astonish, letitng out a nail on the chalkboard sound at the end. Diglett was attempting to get the pokemon to release her.
All Diglett wanted to do was to get to the solid ground, burrow back into the safety of the cool dirt and continue it's attacks. There was no way it was running away now. This beast had ripped him right out of his home.
