[[The true nature of someone's character is revealed through their eyes.]]
Aislynn wandered down Route One, Duskull out of her pokéball, hovering beside Aislynn. Aislynn had pulled her hair into a loose, messy bun, annoyed of Duskull messing with it.
"So, are you gonna behave?" Aislynn asked Duskull, who was cackling. Aislynn glared at the small ghost pokémon. Duskull instantly shut up and looked innocent. It almost looked like the scary-looking ghost had a slim golden halo over it's head.

"Slow yourself." Murmured Ginger, hopping off of the large somewhat horse-like pokemon. "You're still weak, training would not hurt. No matter how powerful you ought to be, any of the others could take you down easy." The Dialga simply remained silent at this, moving along slowly. Unless stopped, the chances remained they'd probably just walk right by Aislynn and the Duskull without a second thought. Ugh...Newbie trainers.

Aislynn stopped and looked at Ginger, in disgust. "Ew, snobby bitch... Let's go, Duskull." Aislynn told her clueless partner. Duskull hovered there for a moment, glancing at Ginger and Dialga, and then bowed slightly before flying after Aislynn.
Aislynn popped her knuckles behind her back and then stretched, still continuing her stride. "Duskull, learn now: snobby people are not good for your health." Aislynn informed her new partner. Duskull nodded solemnly, not sure how to really react to that.

Well, a small pokemon was lurking in the branches of the trees up above. Showdows littered the snow covered forest floor, and this pokemon was well hidden by the needles of the pine trees. Small compliants could be heard as the pokemon got poked by mulitple needles.
Not very stelthy.
However, the small Nincada lept out of the tree and with a heary scream. <BONZAIIII!> The steel type was expecting to land on top of the Duskull, but instead passed right through the pokemon and landed on the ground in a heap.
The pokemon groaned. What just happened?
A wild Nincada has appeared! ::nincada::

Ginger turned on the spot due to the scream; she wasn't exactly fluent in the speech of Pokemon. Her own morph DNA was pretty corrupt as-is, and she could only really figure out the gist of what the Nincada had been yelling. "How incredibly pathetic; assuming you know who I'm referring to." Her glance shifted down to the Nincada, though it was assumed she was speaking to Aislynn.

Aislynn stopped, only a few feet away from Ginger. She turned slightly, and her pearl blue eyes looked emotionless, yet at the same time, full of anger. Duskull floated to the side, by Nincada. <You should know not to jump at a ghost Pokémon... > Duskull told Nincada.
"How incredibly pathetic," Aislynn imitated Ginger's voice, making her voice high and snobby. She then continued in her normal, angry voice, "you even care about some white-trash rocker. Go on back to your diva salon, where you belong." Aislynn snapped.

Voice low, now, she murmured, "Perhaps you should take care of who you talk to." Of course, she was contemplating that it would've been better if she had something more threatening out. Dialga was large and...well, rare, but it was the only Pokemon she owned that didn't quite follow commands mindlessly. "Such a formality. If I must crush you to make you shut your mouth, I will."

Aislynn laughed, "Crush me, go right ahead." She beckoned Ginger with her hand. Aislynn's hands were on her hips, bored already. She looked around, no one can see. Her eyes skimmed over the Dialga, and rolled her eyes. She was planning on using a partner, not her. No fun, what pride is there in that, using a pokemon to hurt YOUR enemies?
"Here's the thing, love. Don't use a pokemon like a coward." Aislynn leaned forward, and cupped on of her hands to the side of her mouth, as if to tell a secret, "Actually try to throw a punch." Aislynn then leaned back, and acted surprised, "Wait wait wait, you can punch, can't you?" Aislynn eyed the snob, Ginger.

"Punching people is my favorite past-time." Responded Ginger, eyes glowing in a threatening manner. "While I do question why not to use Poketools regardless. It's what they are for." Ginger looked...well, plain down at Aislynn. At 6'2", there was a full foot of different between them. However, Ginger herself seemed to only be using this to her advantage in a threatening manner. Tail waving around slightly behind her, she whispered in return, "How...fun."

Aislynn looked up at Ginger, "You are a freeeeeak. What normal girl stands so tall?" She questioned, the sun beating her pale complexion, making it red. She took a few steps back, feeling as though Ginger would fall on her at any given moment -- she hated bitches falling on her so late in the year.
"No pokémon because you look like a cheater." Aislynn added simply, hands in her pockets. She stood somewhat sideways of Ginger, her shoulder bare and seen. Scars all the way down her left arm, from cigarette burns to knifes digging under her flesh it looked like.
[[she does have those scars. I'm writing a story with her, and yeah. Everything on her is in the story xD]]

The Nincada blinked open it's eyes to be met with a hovering Duskull. A piercing scream came out the pokemon's mouth as it relized that he had just fallen through, through the darn pokemon.
<How. How did you do that? You're a ghost? But... shouldn't you be dead?> he stammered, clearly never heard of a ghost pokemon before. <Are you all ghosts? AM I DEAD?> the Nincada worked itself up into a panic and began running into a tree. Smashing into it, he slid down the bark painfully.
<I'm not dead... that's good.> he said, before glancing at the trainers and charging at the one named Aislynn. If she wasn't a ghost, that would be good, but also painful. For the trainer and him. He was a steel pokemon after all.

"Since when is being normal a good thing? I'll have to tell my genetics that next time." Ginger shook her head, eyes moving to the charging Nincada without her actual head moving. The Dialga shook its head, but did not make a move to stop it; this was a matter for Aislynn to take care of naturally, therefore the Time Pokemon would not step in unless its 'owner' were to try and attack Aislynn while she was distracted.
<Ghost types, foolish pokemon.>
Ginger, meanwhile, stepped back as she watched the Nincada get closer to its target. "Cheater...pssh. What do I look like, Team BLANK?"

Aislynn grinned, "Sure, why not?" She stretched, bored. Ginger didn't seem much of a fun fight. They were both stubborn mules, might as well just stop. Aislynn felt it in her bones... If they fought they probably wouldn't stop until --
The Nincada slammed its head into Aislynn's shin. She jumped back in pain, hissing at the Pokémon. "What the hell!" Aislynn snapped. Her shin was throbbing, but it was nothing to cry over. But what the heck got into that Pokémon? She briefly brought her hand down to her shin, and tried not to wince at the touch, it stung.
"Duskull, use Night Shade on the Nincada," Aislynn said simply, standing up. She had to put most of her weight on her right leg, her left one starting to swell with a large bruise. Duskull floated over towards the Nincada, and bowed her head in an apology to the Nincada, before doing Night Shade.
"We won't fight," Aislynn turned to Ginger, and continued, "Not today, at least. We'd fight until one of us died." She looked back to her Duskull, and sighed. "And next time, I hope to use my Duskull -- I'll be strong enough to ward of your cheating ways." Aislynn said, laughing.

The Nincada had collided with the human's shin after charging at it quite recklessly and now it was still reeling from the collision. He seemed to be in more pain than the human. Low pain tolerance could be the answer as the Nincada writhed on the ground, letting out small little groans of pain.
Okay, so perhaps charing at a clearly solid thing was not the smartest thing he had done. Although at least he knew he was alive and so was everything else except for this so called 'ghost pokemon'.
The Nincada was still lying on the ground, when he was about to look up and ask the Duskull a question about him being a ghost when he was suddendly seized by a dark aura. His steel body spasmed with pain and once the Night Shade was done he, after falling to the ground, lept back up and glared at the Ghost type.
<Alright ghosty. Bring it on.> he snapped, filled with fear about battling a ghost type, but determined to win after making such a fool of himself. The Nincada took a deep breath, and after clashing his pincers together proceeded to use Scratch on the pokemon. A beginner move.

Duskull, being a ghost pokemon, was unaffected by the Scratch attack. Duskull sauntered on over by Aislynn, who was now using a tree for support. Duskull rose her short arms as a comfort to Aislynn -- just unable to physically touch her.
Aislynn smiled up at Duskull, moving her head slightly to the left to adjust her hair. Her emerald eyes looked at the Nincada though. "Duskull, never turn your back to an enemy. Never. Use Faint Attack, please." Aislynn told her pokemon. Duskull vanished, and reappeared in front of Nincada, doing Faint Attack.

He was still in mid-air, trying to reach at the little wisps of gas with his large claws when the Duskull disappeared. He slashed through the empty air, landing with a confused chirp. What had happened? He sensed the ghostly presence not so long ago.
The only advantage the Nincada held was being blind, giving him the ability to sense its surroundings with its acute hearing. Even now, the Duskulls gentle movements were creating some type of shift in the air, and he could feel the him behind him. The only problem was that he wasn't fast enough to avoid the Faint Attack. His hard, dusty shell was pounded against with a dark aura, injuring the Nincada.
<Ohhh...Wait and see. Ghostie.> He felt like rhyming. So what? He used a Harden to boost his defense. Watching his opponent, he avoided using any offensive moves this time. He wanted to make the Duskull come to him. Maybe that type of strategy would work against an opponent like this.

Aislynn gaped at the Nincada. It wasn't going to attack Duskull? Not like it really had a choice, a ghost type wasn't affected by normal attacks. Aislynn shook her head of all useless thoughts, and looked up at Duskull. "Don't go too close, Duskull! Night Shade again!" Aislynn demanded.
Duskull looked at the Nincada, who was in a defensive state, and nodded slightly. She hated fighting someone she was getting along with just fine a few minutes ago. But the Nincada did attack her master. Might as well get 'revenge'... Duskull rose her small arms and began glowing once more.

The Nincada had no choice right now but to dodge. With his boosted defense, he had been feeling rather confident, but the Night Shade, weak as the Duskull was, still stung quite a bit. He fell backwards about a foot, before regaining his footing. Angered by his own slight overconfidence, he slowly hardened his body again before using a Leech Life, sending small red bubbles towards the ghost type, eagerly awaiting their return with some of the pokemon's energy.
