A brown- haired bow paced his steps out of town. His eyes didn't look away from the brand-new Poke ball he had just been given. Jay Threw the small thing into the air, and a red light flashed.
"Pichu, Pichu!" A small black and yellow Mouse-Like creature called, looking from side to side. It's black eyes gleamed in confusion as it looked everywhere. Suddenly, the Pokemon looked up, only to see a human. "Pichu!" It cried, clearly terrified. It made its small, yellow legs carry it's body into the bushes.
Jay sighed. "Wait up!" He called to his new 'Friend' Jay finally caught up with the Pichu and picked it up. "Pichu, Pichu!" The yellow and black creature cried out, worried. "Shhh! Don't worry, I'm your trainer.." The calming tone in Jay's voice seemed to calm the Pichu down. The Pichu suddenly realized what had happened, it had been given a trainer!
Pichu laughed, jumping out of Hay's arms and onto his head. "Ouch!" Jay chuckled, he hadn't been used to weight on his head.

The ground around Jay and his new Pichu began to give off strange vibrations. First, only noticeable by an odd shuffle sound, then it only grew louder and louder. The surrounding earth around the group started to turn into mush, and eventually, the very spot where Jay was standing had caved into the ground. In other words: a pitfall trap.
<Whoawhoawhoa! Was someone actually above me? > A curious voice asked, emerging from the ground, staring blankly at the open air.

The ground trembled under Jay's feet. "Pichu?" The small mouse Pokemon asked. Jay jumped back as the ground turned to mush around him, and suddenly something came out of it.
"What's that?" He said out-loud. Jay began to think, but he couldn't remember. The teenager took out a Poke ball from his pocket, and smirked. He nodded to the Pichu, and he nodded back. The Pokemon jumped of his head, fur bristling. Jay tried to think of a move Pichu had. "Ur... Thundershock?" He called to his companion. Pichu nodded, charging up as much energy as possible, he then flung it at the other Pokemon, hoping to make contact.

<Whoa. Sorry about that.> The Diglett sounded surprised when she saw the trainer and his trainer staring down at her. She hadn’t realized that he was actually a Pokemon Trainer, only a human with a Pokemon companion. Either way, she wasn’t exactly thinking when she thought that it would be okay to start a little friendly conversation.
<I swear…I wasn’t intending to bother you. It’s those neighbors of mine. We’ve started a prank war, and-> She didn’t notice Jay issuing an order to attack, and talked until the Thundershock came upon her like a gentle pinching sensation all over her body. It somewhat hurt, but because she was in the ground, all she really felt was a strange case of goose bumps. Startled at the sudden attack, she quickly appeared offended.
<A battle?! What?! So out of the blue! I don’t know if I can win, but by all means, I will try my hardest!> She cried with a burst of spirit and energetic charisma, and she barreled through the ground ready with a Scratch attack, using the sharp blades of rock that came up from the ground as she moved to attack with.

Pichu growled playfully, but a high- pitched squeal could be heard from it as something sharp hit her.
"How could I forget about ground ands electricity!" Jay sighed hopelessly. He smacked his forehead.
Pichu quickly recovered and stood on all fours, neck fur bristling. "Pichu, use Charm!" Jay thought quickly. Pichu nodded, and he did the move fastly. Jay chuckled, waiting to see what would happen.

Once excited and eager for battle, now the Diglett was stricken with a smitten smile at the Pichu’s adorable facial expression. The tiny hearts from his Charm attack had hit her multiple times, not damaging her, but making her feel sweet and fuzzy on the inside. If she wasn’t already stuck to the ground, she would’ve swooned and fainted at the sight of the sweet little baby Pichu. How could she bother trying to attack something like that now?
<Awww! I can’t do it! How could I bring myself to attack something as cute as you?> She cried, blushing in embarrassment from her own weakness. The most she could really do was attempt a weak Growl, in order to protect herself.

Pichu chuckled, smirking. "Now, Bide!" Jay shouted over to his small friend. The mouse-like creature nodded, launching the attack. He hoped to make contact with the other Pokemon.

The Diglett was relieved when she saw that the Pichu wasn't going to do any more immediate harm to her. She grinned, thinking that this battle was going easier than she had thought it would be. Being suspicious hadn't even crossed her mind, as she charged straight ahead at the Pichu, who was only biding his time.
She hadn't even realized that he was storing energy for a powerful attack, and with each strike she made, it would only become more powerful. However, this meant that the Pichu couldn't dodge anything, and he had to wait exactly two turns before attacking. This was turn number one. She was still oblivious.
<Sorry hun', but you wanted to battle me! The least I can do is finish it.> She giggled, using a Scratch attack on the fuzzy Pichu's body.

"Pichu!!" The Mouse-like creature let out a loud whimper. "Don't give up, not now!" Jay called to his companion, encouragingly. His fists clenched in excitement, wondering what move to use next. He thought, but not for long as he couldn't waste any more time whilst his Pichu got hurt.
Jay thought, he knew that thunder wouldn't work well, and bide wasn't helping. "Tail Whip!" He ordered. Jay didn't know /exactly/ what Tail Whip was, but he had to try.

The Tail Whip command failed, due to the Bide restrictions. The Pichu was unable to use any of his attacks, having to simply take everything that came at him. Luckily for him, after this attack, he could unleash all his stored up power and share his pain twicefold with the Diglett.
Meanwhile, the blissfully oblivious pokemon was curious about why the Pichu had ceased to attack. The trainer had yelled out an order, but the pokemon wouldn't or couldn't follow. Using what little brain power she had she came up with a probable solution. The poor little Pichu was /frightned/ of her.
Her nearly melted right there! The poor creature! He looked so meek and timid standing his ground. Although the fierocity of the Thundershock attack came back to her and she snarled. With a deep grunt she forged her way through the dirt, charging at the Pichu with many shards of dirt ready to strike the pokemon.

"Look out!" Jay called to his friend, but it was too late. The yellow and black Pokemon got hit right in the stomach, as hard as possible, and flung into the air and onto Jay's arms. "Poor thing," Jay said, reaching in his Pocket for a potion. It had revived Pichu and a sigh of relief hit Jay.
"Good-bye," Jay called to the other Pokemon and raced off, Pichu on his head again.
"That was a close one, eh buddy?" He sighed, checking the Pichu for anymore bruises. "Let's just hope we win the next one!"

The Diglett cocked her head to the side with confusion? Had she just won? The Pokémon seemed dumbfounded, she usually never won battles! The ground type cheered with glee as the trainer and electric type sprinted away. "Bye!" she called after them, still not sure about her sudden departure, but feeling proud of her last attack.
After giving herself a shake she quickly burrowed back into the ground to take a calming nap, that battle had been intense.
Pichu gains a level for effort
A small melody could be heard off to the right of the Pichu, it was an Oddish singing sweetly among some newly sprouting buds. Spring was coming, and this grass-type was overjoyed! Twirling and dancing among the small buds, she reminisced the full field of flowers this used to be.
<Spring is coming! Joy! Rejoice! Thank you Mew!> she trilled cheerfully.

Jay stopped at the sight of an Oddish. "Jeez, I'm not sure if I should try..." "Pichu!" The small creature protested, hoping off the head of Jay. The young boy nodded, he thought his Pichu was a courageous and confident Pokemon!
"Hey, you!" Jay called out to the Oddish. "Battle time!" A small grin was plastered on his face, as electricity charged through Pichu. "Pichu, thunderbolt!" Her commanded eagerly, and the mouse-like Pokemon sent bolts of electricity towards the Oddish. "Please hit!" Jay prayed.

The Oddish was in the middle of singing a song when she suddendly halted a deep look of concentration crossing her face. A single frond from her head came down and touched her chin, and she thought. What was the rest of the melody from that song?
The halting made her a perfect target and she was electrocuted quite forciably. A scream of pain was heart wrenching, as she collasped to the ground panting.
What the heck just happened?
Her mind was spinning, did a thunderbolt just strike her from the heavens? As she slowly came to, she reliazed there were voices behind her. A groan slipped through, and she prepared herself for a fight.
Leaping up, she let out a scream, before blasting a few glowing green bubbles at the offender. Absorb! <What was up with that attack? You shouldn't hit a girl!> she yelled, pouting.

"Masters orders!" The Pichu replied, trying to dodge the Oddishes attacks. But it was too fast. "Y'ouch!" He screeched as the attack hit him. Pichu bent on his knees, and gradually got to stand up. He lifted his head in pain and pride.
"Charm!" Jay ordered to his friends, with a smirk. It had worked a bit on the other Pokemon. Pichu nodded swiftly, launching the attack his master had commanded.

The Oddish blushed at the Pichu’s attempts to be cute. With all of the rugged, dirty wild Pokemon around here, it wasn’t often when you saw something that darn cute. Her health went up from the Absorb, only a little bit, but if she kept using it in succession, this battle could end up lasting a while. Deciding to be nice and give the Pichu a little break from damage dealing attacks, she decorated the field with a sweet scented aroma, colored a pastel pink that emerged from her leaves. <I hope you forgive me…I don’t want to hurt someone so young…But you did ask for it.> She was sheepish, bowing her head in slight guilt. It was a shame that she didn’t own any physical moves, so that Charm couldn’t power down any of her attacks. She still had the advantage over this Pichu.

The Pichu took in the sweet scent, with a devilish smile. He took a step back and pricked his ears for another command. Pichu's nose suddenly twitched, and he gasped for air. "A- a- ACHOO!" The noise echoed around the area, and the Pichu blushed with embarrassment. He held his nose with his tiny paws to prevent it happening again.
"Right, Pichu use bide!" Jay commanded with a smirk. He looked to his friend holding his nose. Pichu nodded, letting out the not- so strong attack onto the Oddish, hoping it would work.

OOC: Cherii, I don't know if you got the right definition of Bide.
It's not an attack that you can "let out" right away. It takes time. You have to say "Use bide", then endure attacks after the command. Then all of the damage you received from using Bide becomes like a Counter, or Mirror Coat, and bounces with double damage back at your opponent.
Bulbapedia explainsBide better than I ever could.
