It had been a while since she had been to a Pokemon Gym. Training in the Mountains, and other various places since Halloween had taken a toll on Karen. Alas, she wouldn't let it get to her- For her team was stronger than ever~!
The Gym was much warmer than outside, with the humidity of the pools waters. Which were probally kept at a certain temputature, seeing that the Gym Leader was dressed in such a small bathing suit. However, seeing that this was a water type gym Karen didn't mind all that much.
"I'm here for the Gym Challange, and I'm hoping for a Double Battle if you wouldn't mind." She eyed the two water Pokemon in the pools enviously, they certainly could put on a show. Which would be more than enough to fuel her Carvahna for battle. Already she had two Pokeballs in her hand, unforunetly she hadn't really thought much about Pokemon types for this battle. So who knew how it would go out?

Aqua's eyes narrowed at the new challenger, one hand resting on her hip. "Double battle is fine. Prepare yourself!"
She glanced at Mi and Si. Both pokemon had been relaxing in the larger pool, and at their trainer's stern glance swam closer together and stared at Karen curiously. Why hadn't she released any pokemon yet?

"Alright, just making sure it was alright with you." Karen said, a defensive tone traced in her voice as she faked shrugging the small looks of Si and Mi off. A simple flick of the hand triggered two Pokeballs to open up, the first one was hidden from a momentarily splash of water before rising up to show a shiny Carvahna. Making eye contact with her would not be pleasant, for being in the same water with a graceful Milotic was enough to cause a spark in her eyes. The second Pokémon was giggling like crazy, large tail tapping the cement floor with a smile. ChChloeoticed the two unfamiliar water type Pokemon, and remembered the small pep talk Karen had given them before walking into the city. She knew right away to jump into the water, there her wobbly legs wouldn't be a disadvantage to her.
Just remembering something, the challenger made sure to take out her Pokedex. Scanning each one for new information that could be accessed later. She had been wondering about Milotics for a while, how they could be so graceful from a Pokémon like Feebas. Sliding the device away, she nodded to acknowledge the Gym Leader.
"I was hoping an underwater battle would be fun, so I hope this doesn't disappoint me." Karen gave Aqua a friendly and teasing smile, before going on with the first orders of battle.
"Chloe, use Hypnosis on Milotic to keep it busy. Carvahna, you go for a Focus Energy."
Chloe had taken to floating in the center of the pool, kicking her feet steadily to maintain a non-mobile position. Her eyes had glown a dark purple, and the spiral pattern on her belly, directed at Milotic, started makings strange movements. Subtle movements to add to the effect. Carvahna simply refused to listen to Karen, and staying true to her aggressive nature she went forward on her first target: Milotic. The offensive was her favorite strategy, and it wasn't going to fail now with a Rage attack.
<Why waste a good turn on something like that?> The fish-like shark grunted, before glancing at Chloe. 'She's useless too...What type of attack is that?' She thought, snarling at the persistent Poliwag.
Embarrassed by her jealous-stricken Pokemon, Karen tried to hide her face with her hand. Mumbling at herself for not privately training this Pokémon first, at least Chole could be a good influence on her. Hopefully...

She giggled softly, though insultingly at this excuse of obediant pokemon. This owuld be easy if they couldn't work as a team like her two, beautiful water types could.
"You would come to my gym and challenge me, when your pokemon won't even listen to you? You sitll have so much to learn.." She snerked. "Si! Powder Snow! Mi - Wrap!" She wouldn't explain why she chose those attacks, she saw no sense in giving away the plan. Then it only gave the other person a chance to counter it.
Upon command, the Sealo summoned up a frosty blizzard around itself, so cold that the surface of the water froze around the opposing team as it blasted at both oncoming Pokemon. This would reduce visability and reduce accuracy, but also deal some damage, and possibly freeze one of them. Meanwhile, Mi dove underwater as the blizzard took place, going unseen as she silently slithered beneath the poliwag and lashed out with her tail to grab on and pull it in for a tight squeeze beneath the cold above. Mi knew better than to choose the Carvanha as it's target, it's rough scales able to do damage even if it could not through a good attack at either of them.
Aqua was grinning, and seemed completely unaffected by the cold that had rushed into the gym.

It didn't take long for Karen to swallow the birtter comments held by her opponent. Why did all of these Gym Leaders act so prissy? The fact that she battled a prissy dude should've givin her a clue at least...Nevertheless, focus on this battle! That was an order to herself. Right now, things didn't look too good with what was going around the battle field.
Okay, so now her Pokemon Team were practically trapped under a surface of Ice. But so was her Milotic, and the Powder Snow didn't seem like that strong of a move. Carvahna was seemingly alright, with a fast paced swim all around the tank. Eager to go all out on the petty looking fish. Karen was especially careful in watching Chole handle the onslaught of attacks. Being blinded by the snow made her painfully unaware of the incoming wrap attack. Leaving her almost completely imobalized, except for her loose tail dangling about int the waters center.
<Ugh-I...need....to get out!> The Poliwag cried, as she suddenly went out on her own to release a blind Double Slap on her attacker. Aiming to hit the strong flesh that wrapped around her. At least so that she could get free, and Karen seemed to agree with the plan.
"Keep it up Chole!" Karen cheered from the sidlines, whilist giving Carvahna a small look of dissaproval before thinking over a good attack.
"Carvahna, help out Chole with an Ice Fang."
This time the dark type fishie seemed to agree with this style of attack, stopping near the frigid tips of the watery tank to eye its companion and enemy. Tangled up in a frenzyof attacks that, in her words, needed a push in the right direction. Then and there, she felt a bloodthirsty feeling coming over her, a golden gleam settled in her eyes as she went straight down. A steep dive aimed at the slim throat of her opponent. As she dived deeper, her fangs grew even colder, and real ice was covering the tips of her mouth that provided a possible flinch effect, as well as a frozen condition. Neither were likely, though. Tough water Pokemon were able to cope with the cold better than others.

<Milotic!> Mi cried getting slap by the Poliwag's tail a few times, which soon caused her to lose her grip upon the tadpole pokemon. "Mi watch out!" Aqua shouted, watching dark fish pokemon come swimming at her. <Mi!> Mi shouted, counter the Ice Fang with her Water Gun, hoping to push the fish back. "Great job!" Aqua cheered.
"Now Si help use out with your Body Slam!" Aqua commanded. Si quickly began to swim towards the Poliwag, and once he became near, he leapted into the air to fire a heavy Body Slam upon the small tadpole pokemon.

Carvahna gave a small snarl as she was caught in a small blast of water, throwing her off course for a moments notice. It had been enough to cancel out the attack, and she was defiantly not happy about it. Propelling herself forward with her tail she made her way next to Chloe, feeling that staying in higher numbers gave her a stronger sense of power.
<Your helping me?> The small Poliwag inquired, just as she began to notice the much larger Sealio coming towards her; with a body slam that looked to overpower her own.
<Of course not, I wouldn't go out of my way for that...> She faked a glare towards her 'comrade'. At least she knew enough not to attack her, physically at least.
"You two, heads up! Carvahna, get ready with a Screech attack. Chloe, turn around and use Bubble Beam on Milotic." Though she hated to interrupt the small chatter between her Pokemon, she would've hated it even worse if they got hit by that body slam.
Again, absolutely not seeing the point in using a status afflicting attack, Carvahna felt much better with countering with an Aqua Jet at the Sealio. Meaning that she would take the Body Slam head on! Letting the water come straight for her, she was meaning to charge straight into that body slam. With her Rough Skin as an extra defense, and with the high speed coming around her- She was sure of getting a hit. Though she didn't think much about it at the moment.
Chloe proved to be more obedient, and swam forward only slightly to avoid any damage with the Body Slam. So Carvahna could handle it her own way, while she handled this part Karen's way. Her pink lips let loose a strong wave of Bubbles, each lined in perfect order at the target. Not like some normal bubble attack, that could only slow an opponent down. This was much more offensive.

“Mi, get through those bubbles with Wrap!” Aqua commanded in a suddenly serious and suddenly voice, the demure shyness that had laced her tones before evaporating at the new threat to her precious Pokemon. That Poliwag was a bit of an annoyance with its ability to turn her water attacks into aid and she would have to get creative when dealing with it. But she couldn’t forget about the Carvanha either. It was fast, too fast to dodge so she didn’t bother telling Si to avoid it. Instead, she smiled and watched the Aqua Jet strike home into the belly of her Sealeo and the resulting shockwaves that sent ripples throughout its flesh. And down they went into the water, Sealo’s path unchanged thanks to the momentum and the disparity between its mass and that of the small fish. The rough, patchy, skin bit into the Seal’s skin and it let loose a wail that filled the arena as the waters rose up beneath its weight.
Mi’s body reacted like a whip at her trainer’s command as she bolted slithered over and under the stream of bubbles that came her way like water from a pressurized hose. Coiling around it and being careful to avoid being hit by them, her body became fluid like water. It flowed over the bubbles as if it were a part of them as she moved down the stream like a spiral until she was upon her prey. Aha! There, her tail whipping out immediately to try and entrap the little tadpole, she was deadest on this victory. Watching backward to where Si bounded from the water after falling forward, she nodded and let loose several volleys of water, her water sport. The glistening, crystalline streams left her elegant mouth like several miniature streams and arched over Si and the Carvannha. “Powder Snow!” Aqua cried cheerfully as her airborne Sealeo moved over fountains crafted by his teammate.
The wintry wind blew from Si’s mouth and froze the Water Sport into several thick columns of ice… but that wasn’t their state for long because soon Mi came tumbling down upon them and broken them into hard, sharp shards that plummeted to the waters below, namely where the gutsy little fish had vanished and would soon be emerging. Mi shifted slightly in the water to keep from being speared by a few and sent Si a small glare to chastise him, but promptly turned her attention the Poliwag. And Aqua stood transfixed on the ice crystals that fell from above, the smaller fragments not as lethal as the longer, larger, and sharper pieces that had fallen just moments ago. Si searched about for his opponent, growling lowly and keeping on guard, wincing whenever the water brushed too harshly into his wound.

Showing a stricken look on her face, the Poliwag had been moving her bubblebeams range around, trying to no avail in hitting the creeping Milotic. The wrap that had been aimed at her was approaching ever closer, the water snake and its prey. Its graceful movements were making it a pain to hit, closing her eyes the round Poliwag was trapped in the Milotics body. Repeating another scene in the battle, almost. The wrap attackw as seemingly stronger this time, that or Chole's health was just dropping a notch. It was getting harder to breathe, and Chole could only flair about with her tail in a Doubleslap as she had before. Not exactly being in the same place of mind was making her rely on instincts.
Her observant trainer looked deep into the pool of water, the Powder Snow making it hard for her to see what was going on. All she could guess was the worst, and with that she frowned heavily.
"Chole? Jeez...." Karen grunted, trying to scan the waters even harder in frustration. She couldn't even see what was going on with her Carvahna!
Speaking of the small shark, she was glaring up at her two aggressors from the bottom of the pool. Quietly trying to brush off the damage the previous body slam had caused her. Sure, thats what she expected from swimming headfirst into a giant mass of fat. Soon she was able to notice strange dots appearing in the lighter area of the pool, and each one became bigger and bigger. Her eyes widened in realization and prepared another Aqua Jet. Simply to escape the shards by simply swimming up. Up? Yes, directly up. Making her body narrower, in order to dodge the larger spears of ice. The smaller ones had simply scratched her, but she was not worried about that for a moment. Carvahna had emerged from the water, in a mighty leap. Simply to show off, perhaps. Sending a small look over to Karen, and a very smug one to Si. Diving into the surface below to face Mi and Chole in a rather tight situation.
<Hey, look at me! I'm so graceful and gay!> The shark hissed, swimming past Mi in a cocky manner. Preforming a Swagger in the best way she could. Completly ignoring Si, which could prove to be a mistake.

Mi snarled under her breath, tail growing tight even against the onslaught of slaps on her person perpetrated by the wiggling little tadpole in her grasp. How dare that little runt of a fish insult her! What nerve and audacity! The Milotic’s temper translated into her tightening up all of the muscles in her body and her frustration mounting, rationale slipping out of her grasp for just a moment. She was going to show that little sawed-off, want-to-be Gorebyss just what it meant to insult a true beauty of the deep. Her wrap attack persisted for the moment, but she was growing more and more frustrated with the antics of the Carvahna and that didn’t bode well for her focus. Apparently, the swagger had gotten her into a bit of trouble after all; confusion. In this state, her attacks were fueled from a darker place, a place that was a far throw from the serene core that she attempted to maintain at all times. When her trainer flew off the handle or got distracted, Mi was always there to make sense of things and to remain ever calm and gentle. But now? Now she wanted to rip that little snot to pieces. Bubbles issued angrily up through the water as she tightened her wrap on Poliwag and was about to attack when she saw something moving in the water behind the Carvahna. It was a dark spec against the tide and moved in a flurry of white foam and froth, and before Mi could blink, it was upon them: Si had arrived.
He gave his fins a large push backward, all of his muscles straining and all of his body moved forward with the force of the water behind it in a aqua-charged body slam. It moved toward the fish from behind and didn’t stop moving once as it moved straight ahead then looped around to come to a nice even halt beside Mi, giving her a beseeching look. “Sealeo! Seal!” Si had to do something to calm her down or they wouldn’t win this battle at all. The past few seconds came back to him. He’d fallen into the water cleanly after filling the water with ice shards and had seen Mi and the Carvahna. Then he’d pushed himself as hard as he could to rush to her aid and to perhaps get a little pay back for that last aqua jet he’d taken to the stomach from the little shrimp. He didn’t know what had transpired down here before then, but now he had to calm his teammate down and calm he did. Mi gave him a reproachful look, but it faded for a moment as if her temper were clearing for but a second. And that was all the opening she needed, Si noted with a smile as it swam upward in a gently sloping arc, freeing the area around her as Mi raised her head and began to glow a pale blue.
Not even bothering to check and search out the fish that had taunted her so, Mi loosed a Water Pulse in all directions around her. It rippled through the water with great force and collected energy as it emanated out, building off of the strength of the waves it moved through the water at breakneck pace. Si was safely flipping out of the water and gave his tail an elegant flick before he reentered cleanly next to Mi at the epicenter of the discharge. A high-pitched whine could be heard still from the Water Pulse echoing out throughout the water. The further it went, the more powerful it would become, but they remained ever vigilant of the sneaky shark, knowing of its propensity for cropping up at the worst possible time. Si nursed his right flipper, having taken two shots from the rough skin in that area in such a short time interval, but remained on guard just the same. Mi’s tail remained wrapped around the Poliwag though she was distracted and the grip was not as tight as it perhaps should have been. Just the same.
Aqua smiled at the opposing trainer after she watched Si vanish below again. “You came to the right place if you were looking for an instruction manual on how to raise water Pokémon. “’

At the moment, the Swagger had looked very successful. All seeming to be going smoothly as the Carvahna basked in the Milotics anger. Such an anger that could have easily rivaled her own, if she was not so happy through the angry glares she sent the her aggressor. All good things come to an end, and this small and lucky break had dissolved fast as a hard body slam had come to her left side. The mass belonging to a forgotten enemy, and she was left spiraling into one of the edges of the tank. Leaving a vital injury to her right side. The cement had damaged her scales, and gave her more damage than the Body Slam gave her!
For brief moments, the tangled mass around Chloe had become stronger and stronger. Her insides were feeling slightly weak and the Poliwags mind was feeling hazy from the strength of the elegant beauty. Her eyes were wide open as she noticed the Sealeo comforting his battle partner. How such small words could awake an angry fish from a sea of darkness into a ray of light in a matter of seconds. It almost...Inspired her to go out and aid her own ally. Even if the help would be refused, she had to try! Squirming to and fro, and relying heavily on her slimy body the most, the Poliwag slipped out out Milotics grasp. Her eyes were filled with confidence as she stared at the dangerous Water Pulse attack headed for her only ally. She had to act fast! With her tail glowing a dark and mysterious blue, water from all around them was gathered into the glowing sphere. Soon after, the energy ball was shot up into the air, before exploding into a heavy rainstorm. By now the Water Pulse was nearing the injured Carvahna. Even with her superior high level, this water pulse was a strong one. She only could close her eyes and brace for impact. It was an impact that never came.
With refound speed and agility, Chloe had scurried in front of the various Water attacks. Only absorbing the two that were headed in Carvahna's direction, that is. How she was even able to track the creature was a mystery. Perhaps she had been watching the entire time, and just assumed that was where she landed from the attack. Health had been restored only a quarter of what was taken was enough to let her give out an encouraging cheer.
"Pol! Pol! Poliiii!" The Tadpole shouted, what she was saying was unclear. But the meaning was not missed to Carvahna. It was an encouraging cheer, and bluntly: Music to her ears.
With that, she swam right in front of Chloe, sending a dark look over to the Sealeo and Milotic. The drops of rain making her vision of them hazy, and she could only assume that their vision was being blocked as well from the cursed rain. All she could do, was let out a horrifying screech over in the opposing water types direction. The Screech she had released created strong ripples in the water, as if revealing the attacks movements in the water. It was only faint, however. Again, this was the rains fault for making the attack half invisible.

The elegant lines of Mi’s eyes grew close together with barely-constrained rage at the escape of her quarry and she cursed first herself for getting so caught up in the taunts of her foe and then the fish for getting away. The tide of the battle was turning yet again and she could feel it. This time, things were slipping out of her control and turning against her, pitting the luck and fortune of her enemies against her and her comrades and this was just not going to do. Especially when Mi’s luck was already stretched thin in terms of this battle, she’d barely managed to escape a few close calls and Si’s body wouldn’t hold up much longer either after those direct blows he had earned in the heat of their watery combat and she could feel her own energy reserves draining. Slowly, but draining nevertheless. This had been an intense match thus far, filled with changes of momentum and pace, and always changing direction! She hadn’t had a moment to take a breath because she was always dodging some attack or attempting to execute one of her own. But now that she had a moment to think, for her foes seemed to have retreated into the safety of the cold darkness of the waters nearby, she couldn’t help but to feel a little bit unnerved at the situation. That Poliwag had moved with more agility and speed than she’d thought possible from the little thing and the way it had taken that Water Pulse. Mi growled to herself in frustration as she flicked her tail angrily through the water, sending bubbles up to the disquieted shore where bubbles met the surface of the pool and drizzled down to where they were. That attack had brought forth a light shower and had darkened the waters considerably, but being a Pokemon whose species was genetically designed to function in the deep, her eyes adjusted relatively easily to the change in lighting. She had no idea how Si was going to fare or how they were going to mount a coordinated assault on an opponent who could turn their attacks into a boon. She had attempted to get rid of that Poliwag with her wrap, but hadn’t succeeded and now it was out there swimming with no check on its healing ability. Mi flicked her tail again, this time catching Si’s side which brought a pained groaned from the large seal. Had she hurt him? Concern filled her eyes as she turned to him, but what she saw could not have been caused by a mere careless flick of her tail. Deep gashes covered his flipper and abdomen and his blood dripped into the water and floated there, a copper plume that floated upward toward the surface. Things were not going well.
Si’s thoughts were of a similar save for the fact that he couldn’t see much of anything and what he did see was blurred and fuzzy around the edges. He was used to swimming in choppy waters, yes, but more often than not, he didn’t need the pinpoint accuracy he required for this match. One wrong move and he’d be feeding Poliwag’s health and staring down the barrel of a speeding Carvahna aimed directly at him. It made him somewhat nervous and the fact that Mi was staring at him didn’t help any. He had been trying to hide his injury when she’d brushed against him and now she knew and was probably more worried about it than he was. It was a series of bad cuts and scrapes on his flipper and side of varying depth and severity, but he could cope with it. What he could not cope with was his partner feeling the need to protect him instead of doing what was best for their trainer. Mi was a caring individual and couldn’t help but to fret over things like this, but in this situation, that kind of attitude was going to get them both knocked out. He didn’t look at her, did not affirm the fear and worry in her eyes because that would only be enabling the situation and making real the fact that he was damaged. He could power through it for a while longer yet so long as he didn’t give in to the mania that came along with being hunted in open water in which he couldn’t see. That’s what it felt like as they remained still there, waiting for their opponents to make themselves known, not knowing where the attack would come from or how to counter it. That was the worst part, not knowing. Si clenched his teeth, tusks jutting out and whiskers billowing in the ripples that occasionally passed through the waters. All was quiet save for the water hitting upon the pool above and that only brought further tension to his form. How was he going to handle this? At all? His ice attacks would only be slowed down here and water attacks? Forget about it. Besides, Poliwag would only absorb those. Mi must have felt helpless, he thought as his gaze drifted over to her, having only water attacks and no way to attack without aiding the enemy. This battle had shifted again and now they were sitting ducks, the pair of them.
Aqua frowned. Her Pokémon had been doing so well just a moment ago and now this?! She stamped her foot in impatience then collected herself, drawing her fingers through her now damp hair. She smirked and nodded to the rainstorm that had materialized out of nowhere. ”Nice.” She complimented. The past few rounds of attacks had been rehearsed responses on the part of her Pokemon and she hadn’t needed to tell them anything, but this was something else entirely. They needed her to come up with something or they were up a creek without a paddle. Her pale blue became dark and focused, her forehead wrinkling and her lips drawing into a tight purse. She’d faced worse, she knew, than two water types, but this was such a unique situation that her previous experience provided her with very little in the way of suggestions. How was she going to retaliate? Before she could think of anything, she saw bubbles of action from below and her eyes widened a bit. What was that? Si and Mi both held similar expressions and quickly looked around, not knowing where those wavelets were coming from, but the heavy, distorted sound that accompanied them brought a chill to both of their spines. Here in the deep where they could move and maneuver, they should have felt safe, but only felt inhibited by the dark and unnerved by their foes who had vanished itno the darkness. Desperation was but a stone’s throw away and the water was thick with it. “Si! Mi! To the surface!”Aqua commanded and then squinted into the rain. “Mi, go back down there and charge water pulse with everything you’ve got. Si. I want you to use Powder Snow into this rain.” It was risky business, but if it paid off, her Pokémon would be in a position that better suited them, not running and hiding.
Mi submerged herself and made a straight line of herself. Slowly, her body rotated, gathering the water around her into a vortex of sorts but as it was just forming a whirlpool, she emitted a highly-pitched burst of sonic energy, molding the water spinning around her into a ring that shot out, repeating the process again and again as she drew upon the water all around her to send out multiple waves of Water Pulse, the waves growing stronger and fierce as they rumbled amid flurries of bubbles and energy throughout the entire pool, even causing the concrete boundaries to shake upon impact. Si stayed where he was, for the most part out of range of the water pulse since it was moving outward and not upward so much, opened his mouth. Out came the wind! Cold, frigid air and ice and snow all intermixed as it entered into the dropping way, whipping it back up and turning it into a slush emerging from the mix and dropping like wet cement into the water crystals forming and slipping silently into the water like knives downward into the depths. The rain had turned into an ice storm of sorts though not quite a blizzard. With an attack, he had changed the weather and with a stroke her elegant body, she had brought fury to the waters below. There was no place to run. And Aqua only stood by and watched her opponent with a new respect.

There was a great variety of thoughts and emotions piling around Karen's mind. To be honest, she wasn't as knowledgeable of water types as she thought. Sure, using Carvahnas rough skin had been part of the plan. The same with Chloe, because they were water types that practically nullified most of her opponents attacks. She would be feeling a lot better if she could see her own team. Mi and Si were partially near the surface, therefore near her line of eyesight.
'Alright, maybe I can help....I mean, theres a reason I'm here. And its not just to stand around and see if my team wins or not!' That thought was enough to rouse her attention on the situation even more. 'Water Pulse...' She thought, before announcing loudly into the waters. She wasn't too sure if she could be heard, but hey! There was a reason why you couldn't tap the glass in an aquarium, so maybe sound would come through.
"Chloe, take the Water Pulse!" As her voice traveled down into the watery mess that Si had created, both frog and shark had perked up in response to the familiar voice. Currently you could see various scratches on Carvahna from protecting Poliwag from any more damage. The creature had obviously grown some type of attachment to her and her helpful ways. The powder snow had created a temporary hazard for both of them. Navigation was one thing, and having the strength to beat the wild waters was another. That water pulse wasn't just an attack, it was forcing the water to part as it passed through the water, making a rhythmic movement back wards. As the water was trying to retain its original position, it moved forward. Pushing the attack even faster, with all its strength and the chaos it was causing Chloe just didn't feel like she could block the attack in time. Speed was part of the equation, but she needed power as well!
<I....I can't...> Chloe whimpered, her feet kicking in rapid and repetitive movements with her tail trying with all its might to back her up. Carvahna could only roll her eyes at this, but in all honesty the waters weren't exactly paradise for her either. But, at least she could resist the waters pull. Sensing the incoming wave of water, she snarled at the use of the situation. She had obviously taken more damage than Chloe had, and didn't have means of recovery. So every attack that these brutes were dealing out had meant quite a bit to the situation.
<Hey, the rain made me faster. Use that one attack to make you go faster!> The poliwag had submitted to her fate in the water, her muscles were just too sore to even fight the situation any longer and the need for rest was very compelling.
<What attack? Oh, Aqua Jet!>The Carvahna announced, the idea had come to her head just as Chloe mentioned it! So, maybe it wasn't her idea exactly. But there was no one to argue against her at the moment, so the idea was hers. Allowing the raging waters to help her, a small shield of water had come over her as powerful speed had returned to her as it had earlier. With that ability and the attacks power, she dashed towards the exhausted Poliwag and grabbed onto her with her fins. Her rough scales had been pulled in slightly, so that way she could not hurt her own ally. ((I saw this happen in the TV show, so...Yah...>.>)) It would take a few seconds, but it was known when the water pulse had reached their corner of darkness. Sure, Chloe was able to absorb the attack. But the force of the blow, neither Pokémon could contain as they were thrown back once again into the pool walls. Making a small thud upon impact. Chloe had adjusted quickly, muscles were sore and scratched from the Powder Snow were alive and breathing pain to her, but it was slowly healing. Carvahna had struggled to make an effort to keep a normal position in the water, despite its harshness. It was only due to her strong level that she could keep fighting. The situation was not in their hands any longer, the weathers effects were brutal and both Pokémon knew it. Chloe looked at her weakened ally just once, before deciding to switch her own positions. To become more offensive, even if the rain was gone she could still swim fairly well. With all her might, she swam up, farther and farther. Resisting the pain her muscles gave her as her target soon came into view. With that, she shown the spiral of her belly and became faster in movement towards Mi. Attempting a Body Slam near the creatures slim neck.
Karen had sensed that something was wrong with her team, and had noticed that the waters around the pool had become increasingly violent. Worry was constantly nagged at her subconscious as she stared hard into the water. Knowing that something wasn't right. 'It can't be Chloe, because at least she can heal herself....So...' The trainer had quickly laid her backpack on the ground, and fumbled through it rapidly. Taking things out to find the right object she needed. Once she found it, she put everything back in it, except now it was even more disorganized than before. A Super Potion could help, but she couldn't use it just yet. Not unless she could be sure that her Pokémon could hear her. Sure enough, she could see Chloe. But she was not the one she needed to see.

{Is terribly frightened of huge post 0_0}
Mi herself was growing steadily weary of the battle. Strong as she was, a battle was a battle. For a water pokemon, she was having a difficult time keeping up this time. The water only raged on, difficult it was to keep afloat in such dangerous waters. From out of nowhere, Carvhana came bursting out from the water, jaws opened menacingly.
A heavy blow for the Milotic, she swayed from side to side, trying to regain herself from the attack. Her tail flicked to the side, steadying her weight as well as keeping afloat. Not only had the body slam did it's job but the Carvhana's rough skin had scraped her as well.
"Not too bad if I do say so myself." said Aqua. In truth, she was getting quite nervous. Such heavy blows were given from both sides, though she trusted her pokemon, she worried for them. "Si, a body slam at the pokemon over there." said Aqua, pointing her finger at the Poliwag at the far end of the stadium. Without so much but a grunt, Si disappeared under the water again, submerging once again. "And Mi, give that Carvhana a Water pulse."
Si reappeared, closer towards Chloe. With a strange battle cry, he forced an attack at the Poliwag. Mi swam off, to a safe distance, it was only then did she make an attempt to attack with a water pulse.

(( -huggles Grey so that he will be less afraid of huge posts-
I will post smaller? xD ))
Watching the battle between the two Pokemon, Karen cursed as she watched a potentially fatal Water Pulse crossing the water towards her Carvahna. She was obviously getting weakened by all of these attacks, and knew that she had to do something! How could she though, if her Carvahna didn't even trust her? The Water Pulse hit the small shark square on the chest, she tried to endure it, the trainer's observant eyes could tell, but it was just getting to be too much for the shark.
The Water was getting hard to tame, once again. Making her Pokémon hard to see from the constant blasts of water, she couldn't even tell how Chloe was doing by now. Being so far away from the Sealeo, she assumed that Chloe could make the dodge. She was caught off guard however, and underestimated the Ice types mass, and was forced to swim closer to the surface with an injury to her left side.
"Polli..." <This is hard...>
"Car! Carrrrrr!> <AGH! I need a break!>
"Carvahna, come to the surface! I can help you if you let me!" Kare pleaded, holding out the super potion for the Shark to examine from under water. Chloe urged her to take it, but she couldn't be too sure about man-made items. What she couldn't deny, was that she was dead-tired from all of these hard blows. She desperately needed a break. Reluctantly swimming up to where Karen could reach, she sprayed to the last drop. The healing substance leaving with less bruises and scratches.
Chloe easily saw the change in her friends body, and grinned at the sight. She saw that her friend was slowly trusting others more and more, and sighed in relief. Turning around to look at her opponents, she noticed that she'd have to do something so that Carvahna's status change would last longer. Aiming more at the Sealeo at the bottom, she let out her best Hypnosis into the deep waters below. It didn't work any of the other times before in this battle, but how she needed the advantage! Carvahna slowly swam beside her, and became aware of her presence.

Aqua screamed in frustration as the challenger restored the Carvahna's hp with a potion, that coupled with the fact that the poliwag had just used Hypnosis again. She prayed that it wouldn't work on her Si, to the point where she called out "Si close your eyes don't watch it!! I can't afford you to fall asleep...." with he hands cupped around her mouth hoping the sealeo could hear her.
The seal, sat on the bottom of the pool awaiting its trainers orders, ready to strike again at any time, when it was drawn up to look at the poliwag. By the time aqua had given her warning, si was already in the trance, and following the swirl around and around. Before it finally fell asleep on the pool floor. For how long though was uncertain.
This made Aqua scream even louder, and annoyed her to the point where she was bound to start making mistakes. "Mi, Wrap that poliwag up so tight that it wont be able to move and squeeze its little brains out!" she yelled feircly, hoping to put an end to that poliwag.
The milotic then nodded, and shot through the water like a rocket towards the pleased poliwag, its body coiled and ready to strangle the poor thing without hesitation, because its trainer had ordered it, and thats just what it was going to do!

'Victory is mine~'
Squealed the Poliwag as she realized that her Hypnosis actually worked for once, needless to say, she didn't want to try and use that attack ever again. It took long enough, and didn't seem worth it to rely on attacks with low accuracy.
Stopping its small 'happy-mode' due to a constant urging from Carvahna, she blinked to see the Milotic heading her way. From its trainer's voice, she could tell that this would be a seriously strong attack. It had survived previous wrap attacks, but the intent on this one was different and stunned Chloe in place.
Her ally grunted in disapproval as she shoved the Poliwag out of the way, and braved the attack herself. Whatever bonus the potion gave her was wearing out fast, and the shark cried in pain at the Milotic's powerful grip.
"Oh geez, I'm not liking this." Karen tsked to herself while thinking of the best attacks for her Pokémon to try out at the moment. Carvahna wouldn't be doing any swimming from what she could tell, the Sealeo was safely out of the way, the Milotic was already attacking. Chloe was free to do whatever, and getting rid of that Sealeo looked like the best thing to do.
"Chloe, use Body Slam on the Sealeo. Carvahna! Use Crunch on Milotic!" Yes, this seemed right. This battle was taking its toll on the team, and Karen was struggling to figure out what to do when one of the Pokémon was knocked out, which Pokémon could she use? Not many of them were swimmers, that was for sure. Chole swam down to where the Si was safely snoozing with her Belly up front for a crushing blow. While Carvahna was stuck in the Milotic's grip, she readied her sharp fangs for impact on her opponent's flesh.

"Si, wake up!" Aqua shouted, trying her best to wake up her sleeping pokemon before Chloe's attack becomes successful. Unfortunately, Si still wasn't able to awake, which only meant one thing the Body Slam made an impact.
"We have to try something else!" Aqua shouted looking over at Mi, who was about to be attack by a Crunch Attack. "Mi, let go and then fire Water Gun!" Aqua commanded. Mi quickly released her grip, and fire her Water Gun Attack, hoping to stop the Crunch Attack from hitting.

Even after making that Body Slam attack, Chole couldn't help but be pushed back after making contact. Si was such a plump being, that it was hard not to be thrown back like a tennis ball. Still, she was happy that she was able to make an attack count. Looking up and winking at Karen was enough to get in eyesight of Carvahna getting shot backby the Water Gun's blast. It wasn't like it was a super effective attack, but it was at such close range that the Crunch attack didn't have time to hit its prey. Sending the small shark backquite close to Chole and Si, thankfully stopping before she could hit the wall.
Karen saw that Mi was quite a distance away from them, and thought that she could assume that another Water attack would come their way. But, to counter she wanted to keep Carvahna close to Chole. Which left them open to another Wrap attack. That was alright though, as long as they had the oppertunity to knock out Si then all was good.
"Chole, Carvahna! Get as many hits as you can on Sealeo! Use Double Slap and Aqua Jet" She was doing this to wither down the giant ice types Hp as much as she could, so when a more powerful attack came out, it would be easy prey. Karen couldn't help but wonder which Pokemon would get knocked out first. She doubted it would be Chole, after all of the recovery moves used in the battle...So either Sealeo or Carvahna. That was how it would work. She couldn't see it being Mi, since she wasn't attacked this turn. With high expectations, Karen watched as both of her Pokemon got to work. Chole hiting rapidly at Si with her tail, and Carvahna using a high speed attack like Aqua Jet against the sleeping wonder.

Si, was still asleep as the two pokemon pounded against his body with their attack first the swift Aqua Jet, which always attacks first, followed by the Double Slap.
"Wake up Si!" Aqua shouted still irritated about the fact of sleeping pokemon. <Seaaaaa!> Si roared finally awaking from his sleep. "Si use Powder Snow!" Aqua commanded swiftly. Frustrated about the previous duo of attacks upon his body, Si quickly fired a fierce Powder Snow from his mouth.
Meanwhile, Mi continued to stand her ground in case Aqua called for some back up.
