Rivaxorus quickly started running towards the lab. She was so excited, it was the day she got her first Pokémon. It had been a week since she had seen her mom in the hospital and she knew she would have to stop by before she went on her journey. She jumped over a bench and stopped in front of the lab to catch her breath. She was wearing her normal red leather jacket with a plain white tank top under it. Then her usual black chained pocketed pants. After getting her breathe caught up she straightened her jacket and walked inside.
"Oh wow" she felt so small compared to the lab. It was large, unlike anything she had seen. Rivaxorus walked backwards for a few seconds then turned again to stop walking. She looked around for the professor. Excited and nerves to get her Pokémon.

Professor Winter ! Winter had just used the facilities and was walking back into his offices, straightening his clothes and coat as he did. He had to look professional, after all. Hearing the girl's exclaimation, his pace quickened. Didn't want to keep the visitor waiting, after all.
"Well, hello there." He said, smiling widely. "I'm Professor Winter, the manager of this institution. How may I assist you?" Inquired the man, laying kind, handsome eyes upon the young lady that had invited herself into his domain. She looked rather young, contrasting the many older folks that had passed through his lab.
"I'm guessing you're in need of a Pokémon. If you are, the list is right over there." He offered kindly, raising an arm to gesture over to the aforementioned paper that was hung on the wall by a thumbtack. Some pages were rather ruffled from past trainers looking through them, but it was mostly still legible. The man waited patiently to see if his inference was correct - that she was her to retrieve her first partner.

Rivaxorus looked at the papers as she was instructed to them. She was a bit nerves about this, yet at the same time she was eager. She really did not care what pokemon she got, but she did want to see them. She looked down the list. All of them looked so fun. She thought about for a moment, she did like fire types. She was not some girly girl though. She turned back to the professor. "I was hoping for a ponyta" she said happily. A bit scared that he would think she was weird, even though she had heard that so many times.

Professor Winter
Pleased that he was correct about the girl wanting her first Pokemon, he calmly walked to the back of the room to pick out a starter pack for her. She said she wanted a Ponyta, yes? So a bag with a cute Ponyta image on it would do the trick. He pulled out a flame orange bag filled with free goodies to trainers just starting out; since they would need everything they could get their hands on at the start of their journey.
He knew that much, for he had once been like that himself. It was soft to the touch, but the material was durable enough to last through the wilderness, depending on how well the trainer took care of it. Inside the bag, a Ponyta was already waiting within it.
”Ponytas can be very prideful Pokémon once you get to know them. Shy at first, but don’t let that fool you.” He felt like giving the 14 year old a heads up, since she looked like the type that didn’t look into these things before choosing a Pokémon. He gently handed the Starter Pack over to her, a bit nervous that she might drop it. Would his Ponyta be in good hands…?
You Get:
Ponyta Level: 5 Gender: You Decide Personality: You Decide Abilities: { Flash Fire + Run Away} Attacks: Tackle, Hypnosis

"Oh thank you so much professor" Rivaxorus said taking the bag in her hands. The new trainer could not wait to go on new adventures. Yet it seemed she would have to tell her mom first before she left. She walked out the door to start her adventure.
