Eleanor smiled as the Buizel was roped to shore by Yggdrasil's vine-like arms and deposited on the shore looking rather displeased. Seeing as it hadn't made a move, Eleanor had even more of an advantage than type; the advantage of the first strike. Yggdrasil flexed his arms as Eleanor gave the order. "Growth and Vine Whip." The Grass Type obeyed, growing considerably before lashing his arms at the Buizel in an attempt to lash it across the head. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Growth and Vine Whip. [/B]

Buizel was quite irate.
First of all, he'd only wanted to get to his girlfriend, so that they could have a berry bonanza with his lucky catch of the day. Second of all, being dragged so unceremoniously to shore certainly did not suit his current mood. Usually a debonair sort of Pokemon, his grace and courtesy would no doubt be completely lost on such helpless souls.
<You really are quite rude!> Buizel insisted irritably, managing to dance out of the Vine Whip's range. Had that Bellsprout gotten bigger before his very eyes? He thought so, but couldn't be sure. <Learning manners would definitely better you,> he decided, nodding to himself. He'd always preferred a more heuristic form of learning, but really, they needed the aide of kindness. <I was on my way to run an errand, and you've no right to interrupt me!>
Little did he know that Eleanor could pollute even the most hallowed ground with her presence, she was so bent-set on the ridding of weakness. Not even mithridate, the antidote to all poisons, could cure the venom in her very voice. It was sad, really.
Foolishly, Buizel did not attack. Part of the critter thought that he could still get away from this without a scratch on him.

Eleanor smiled, the disgust clear in the expression as she looked down at the Buizel. "Disgusting. You can't even fight for yourself. How that other Buizel respects you I'll never know, because you're weak."
[B["Fight ot die," whispered Eleanor. "Yggdrasil, Wrap," she ordered calmly of her Bellsprout.
Lashing his vines out, the quiet Bellsprout attempted to wrap them around the Buizel's stomach and chest. Until the Buizel, which did not seem very battle hardened, surrendered, or fainted, Eleanor would not stop.

Plowing Through Route One
Wait. Did that trainer just call him weak? Weak? That was not going to fly at all. The Buizel gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes as he jumped out of the Yggdrasil's Wrap attack. He pointed at the trainer.
<"You just crossed the wrong Buizel!"> he cried. More than anything, he just felt insecure about himself when the trainer mentioned his little girlfriend. He felt he had to defend his own pride against this trainer. He then let out a loud Growl at Yggdrasil before spinning his tail quickly behind him like a propeller. He then whipped his spinning tail towards Yggdrasil and a distorted disc of air was sent at the Flower Pokémon's direction.
(VS) Buizel used Growl and then SonicBoom on Yggdrasil!

Wary of the Buizel's Growl, Yggdrasil was hit in the torso by the Sonicboom. Although unavoidable, the shockwave was weak, and the Bellsprout stayed standing as he waited for Eleanor's next order. "Good. You can fight," murmured Eleanor. "Yggdrasil, Growth and Wrap again." Even though it was only for Special Attack, a stat Yggdrail could not put to good use at the moment, Growth was intimidating when used on the right Pokemon, and Eleanor didn't have anything to lose from using it. The Bellsprout closed his eyes as his body pulsed, and his form inflated considerably, making him larger as he stretched his vines out again in an attempt to choke the Buizel with the Wrap. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Growth and Wrap. Narrowing his eyes, the Buizel did not cry in pain as the Wrap lashed very painfully around his middle. The super-effective grass attack was bad enough, but the fact that it was slightly cutting off his air supply was even worse.
<And what does that imply?> the Buizel demanded in a half-snarl, fighting against the Wrap attack as best as he could. But the Bellsprout had quite the tight grip. Debonair attitude completely vanished, the sea weasel bared his teeth angrily at his opponent, then started to twirl his tail in a whirlwind fashion yet again. <Of course I can fight!>
Though it was hard when he could barely breathe through the tight grip of the wrap, the irate Buizel did manage to concoct a suitable enough rhythm; which he then used to attack the Bellsprout with round two of his last attack.
::buizel:: Hit by Wrap, super effective! Buizel used Sonic Boom on Bellsprout!

Yggdrasil grimaced as the unavoidable attack hit him yet again, almost releasing his Wrap on the Buizel. Although he managed to keep his vine-like arms wrapped around the Water Type, his grip had been weakened. He would have to release the Buizel soon or his vines would tear. Eleanor smiled. The Buizel was clearly in pain, a thought that pleased Eleanor. Battles brought pain, did they not? Brought scars. But also gave both sides strength. This was a way to toughen up the Buizel. It was inexperienced, by the looks of it and its initial refusal to battle. But she would train it and train it well. "Keep it up," murmured Eleanor, to both combatants. Yggdrasil's Wrap continues. What had gone from a bonanza of joy had changed so swiftly into a tainting of hallowed soil. This human just did not understand how things worked around here. Life was precious, not pain. How could she seem to enjoy it with such a debonair expression, free of all care? He completely understood that battles were a fine heuristic way of growing stronger, but… did he need to be stronger? Buizel was strong enough. Strong enough for how he’d wanted to live his life. Why did he need more than that…? No mithridate could cure him of his desire to be back in the water, heading towards his family and friends. Where were those berries, even? Ah. There. Squished on the ground beneath his paws.
Thoughts flowing endlessly through the young Buizel’s mind to cover up the pain of the attack, it took a while for the water-type to remember to continue struggling. He was growing weaker, almost too weak to shoot out another attack. But he had to. Had to show that he was strong enough to be happy. Still coiled up in the Bellsprout’s vines, he shot off another Sonic Boom.
Stuck in the Super Effective Wrap. Is weakening. Used Sonic Boom.

Once again, the effects of Sonicboom pushed Bellsprout back, and now they were starting to get clearer. The Pokemon, gasping for breath, released his hold over the Buizel as he tried to catch his breath. "Vine Whip," demanded Eleanor, and the Bellsprout, having regained his breath, lashed his vines out at the Buizel. Yggdrasil used Vine Whip. [/B]

Whipped across the face and body he felt the pain striking through his body. Was he failing to show that he was strong enough for how he wanted to live? Was he really.. weak? The Buizel was weakening so much that it started to become clear that he was going to loose. A Grass type against a Water type was bad, but a fighter against someone who does not care and just wants to live his life was even worse. <I.. need.. to.. end this.>Gasping for air he looked at the Bellsprout. He then looked at the trainer as vicious as she looked and released another Sonic Boom at the Bellsprout. He knew that he could not do much, but at least he wanted to do something to it. It was however starting to seem clear that the trainer wanted the Buizel to show his strength and not merely fight. However the thought of getting back to his girlfriend and how his berries were ruined and how this Bellsprout was in his way was far more important to him. ::Buizel:: Hit by Vine Whip. This time, Yggdrasil jumped out of the way of the shockwave despite his fatigue, landing gracefully on his slender legs before cracking his vines on the ground, creating a whip like snap. "Wrap again," demanded Eleanor, and Yggdrasil raised his vines, extending them to try and choke the Buizel into unconsciousness. ::bellsprout:: Yggdrasil used Wrap.

That last squeeze was just too much for the Buizel to handle. He knew that he was over with, completely wiped out. So, with a shudder, he gave into unconsciousness as his brain succumbed to the lack of oxygen.
Fainted.

Eleanor smiled softly as she took out a Net Ball and threw it at the Buizel. Finally, a Water Type. It was quite a fine specimen, despite her taunting, and she looked forward to raising it into something stronger than it was now.

*Shiny*
Whoa. What was this? Out of nowhere, a Natu teleported right in front of the attack, pecking the Net Ball out of the way. Luckily for Eleanor, the sphere was unharmed, but that Peck attack had sure looked powerful. That wasn't the only thing striking about this Natu though, as it had a rather unique coloring as well. Of course, if one had never seen a Natu, then perhaps they couldn't appreciate the beauty of its colors.
<My friend. I refuse to offer him to you.> The Natu gravely spoke, raising an orange, sparkly wing to the girl. He would gladly challenge her over his friend's body. Ok, to be honest, the Buizel actually owed the Natu some berries and never payed him back, but that was besides the point.
<I'll accept you keeping him, however, if you can fight me in a one on one fight. Anything less than fair, and we both leave.> The Natu suddenly spoke with his mind, attempting to communicate the message to Eleanor. It was a bit of a difficult translation, since he wasn't fully able to use psychic type moves, but enough of it would be understandable.

"A fight to the death?" asked Eleanor, eyes glimmering at the thought. Returning Goku to his Pokeball, she sent out Aeria, her Pidgey. "Sand Attack and Gust it, now," she ordered, not giving the Natu the first move. It was not honorable, but it was still fair[/I], wasn't it? Aeria cawed in preparation for battle and zoomed down to kick sand up at the Natu's eyes, before whipping up a Gust to blow it away, hopefully into the qater so she could see whether or not a Natu could swim. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Sand Attack and Gust. Plowing Through Route One
The shimmering Natu watched as his opponent attempted to get the first strike with a Sand-Attack. His eyes flashed and he disappeared before the sand could hit his eyes and reappeared just to the left of where he originally was. Sneaky tactics get sneaky counterattacks.
<"Decent strategy. It would have worked had you fought any typical opponent. Not me,"> said the Natu. His voice sounded solemn as he spoke. Seeing the Gust coming before him right after the Sand-Attack, he shot two beams of dark energy from his eyes into the sand in front of him, causing it to fly out of the ground beneath him and everywhere directly in front of him. He was trying to weigh down the air Aeria was using to attack him with. Perhaps Aeria would also be afflicted by a pseudo-Sand-Attack?
(VS) Shiny Natu dodged Aeria's Sand-Attack with Teleport! Shiny Natu used Night Shade on the shore to create a pseudo-Sand Attack on Aeria!

Aeria coughed and spluttered as the sand went into her eyes, glaring at the Natu as it spoke smugly. Oh, how she hoped Eleanor demand she kill this annoying pest. SHE was the top bird around here! "Sand Attack and Gust again," demanded Eleanor. The Natu wouldn't last long if it kept using Teleport and Night Shade. Ghost and Psychic moves tended to drain energy fast, and Eleanor would capitalize on that. Aeria kicked more sand up, before generating a powerful mini gale. Aeria used Sand Attack and Gust. [/B]

Unlike most opponents, the shiny Natu did not sneer or feel a particular amount of satisfaction as he noticed that his attack had been successful. In fact, his expression remained solemn as he looked upon his foe, waiting for the counter attack. His duty was to protect the Buizel from this foe, if he could. Nothing else mattered until the end of the battle.
And then, perhaps, when it was over, he'd finally get his damn berries back. The dolt was so busy fawning over his girlfriend that he'd been completely neglecting everything else. Natu suppressed an exasperated sigh. Love. The mithridate to all emotions... unless you were merely looking on, and then it was just infuriating.
His opponent attacked, then. He clenched his beak in slight anger as a spray of sand managed to invade his vision, but withstood the Gust attack without crying out in pain, though it did hurt. All the same, Natu was a powerful foe, and there was no way he was going down this early in the battle.
Letting out a rather alarming screech, his manner of a threat, he then glanced skyward and started to chant under his breath, an eerie chanting that swept over the battlefield. His eyes flashed an odd color, and then he stared the Pidgey down, having braced himself for battle.

Aeria stepped back, feeling somewhat intimidated by the Natu's screech as she let out a faint caw, her challenge to the Natu and its persistence. She and Eleanor would soon fix this arrogant bird. "Tackle," she ordered, going for a more physical assault. Aeria obeyed, lunging forward with her body, flailing her talons for extra damage. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Tackle. [/B]

The Shiny Natu liked Lucky Chant; there was something magical about it which he liked. The way it could lower critical hits, being just a sweet melody. He hovered in the air as his Pidgey opponent prepared for a Tackle attack. His demeanor was calm, collected. Smooth. He tried to dodge the Tackle in a calm, collected, smooth way... but no. He was not calm, collected, and smooth. Instead, he got caught up the Pidgey's flurry of wings and muscles and got kicked up through the air, managing to steer himself upright at the last minute. Not so cool, calm and collected. So, if this Pidgey was going to be direct, so would he... Shooting forward, he aimed a Peck straight at the Pidgey's midriff.
