The sharp impact of the Natu's beak punctured Aeria's soft flesh, and she cawed in pain as the attack drew blood, making her feathers become ruffled and untidy. Cawing in disgust, Aeria looked to Eleanor for her next order as blood dripped onto the ground, turning it a dull red. , "Sand Attack and Gust," was the order, and happily obeyed by Aeria, who kicked up a c loud of sand at the Natu, and this time deliberately faced the water ebfore intensifying the Sand Attack into a Gust, trying to knock the Natu into the water. Eleanor was hoping for such a result too. However, if it happened, Eleanor would immediately throw a Pokeball. A drowning Natu would surely prefer capture to death. And it was shiny, which also enticed Eleanor. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Sand Attack and Gust. [/B]

The sparkling and shining Natu was clearly expecting the attacks that the dull bird threw at it, but the plan was not as clear to the psychic bird. With sand in the eyes the wind blew him away once again. However how could he know that it was aimed so it would crash towards the water? Who knew, but this trainer had brains. The shining Natu crashed at the water, the water reflecting the colours of the beautiful bird. However the bird did not like the fact it crashed in the water to much, cause unlike its "friend" that was captured it could not swim all too well. <Water.. beak.. lungs. ugh..>
Trying to get back up and out of the water the Natu fought to get out. ::Natu:: Hit by Sand Attack and Gust. Is trying to get out of water.

Eleanor smiled as she walked in front of Aeria, who had a short rest on the ground, preening her feathers to get rid of the caked in blood and dust.
"I see you can't swim," she said softly, almost soothingly. "This gives you two choices. The first is to drown." She waited a few seconds for emphasis before continuing. "The second is the life of a captured Pokemon."
Turning away as she sent a Pokeball out to the water for Natu to clutch onto at the risk of capture, Eleanor bent down and touched the Buizel with her Net Ball. "Choose," she murmured gently.

The Shiny Natu narrowed his eyes at Eleanor before thinking at it's options. Then he realized something. He had a third choice. He knew teleport. Teleporting onto the shore the Natu glared at the Pidgey before using peck on the pokeball that was thrown at his friend.
<Fair fight, only after you have defeated me!> The bird called out to the female trainer in hopes of "jogging her memory". This battle wasn't quite over yet.
Shiny Natu used teleport. Shiny Natu used peck on the pokeball.

Eleanor was getting a little annoyed at this resourceful Natu. Still, it was surely tiring by now with all the Psychic Type moves, and Aeria was sticking with less energy consuming moves, such as Sand Attack and Gust. Which was what Eleanor ordered of the Pidgey, who swooped down to kick sand at the Natu's eyes again, before blowing a Gust at the Natu while Eleanor picked up the Pokeball it had pecked away. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Sand Attack and Gust. With the Natu being the quiet type he didn't say anything father. He dodged the Sand-Attack barely but was soon hit by the Pidgey's attack. He tumbled backwards but somehow landed on his talons. He shook himself and then used Leer. His eyes glaring at the Pidgey before he quickly went in for a Peck. His beak glowing slightly as he ran towards the Pidgey with his beak out ready to dig into to some feathers.

For the first time in the battle, Aeria managed to dodge the attack, the glowing beak missing her by inches as she took to the sky again, instinctively kicking up some sand in an attempt to further reduce the Natu's accuracy. "Good," Eleanor praised her Pidgey. Now follow it up with a Tackle. Descend for maximum impact," she added as an afterthought. Soaring high, Aeria looked down at the Natu before folding her wings tightly to her plump body and spinning like a homing missile as she directed the full bulk of her body towards hitting the Natu. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Sand Attack and Tackle. Natu couldn't dodge this time around, and he shrieked in anger as another spray of sand assaulted his eyes. It burned terribly, and he couldn't shut them all the way due to the grit. How he wished he could make his foe pay! And then, in turn, his 'buddy' pay up. Y'know, an eye for an eye, or whatever it was they said. But being unable to make out much but hazy shapes, now, it was proving difficult to get a pinpoint on the Pidgey.
Wham!
Ouch. That was going to leave a mark. The Natu was momentarily winded as he was slammed backward by the Tackle, landing in the dust and skidding slightly. The impact bothered some of his other bruises from the battle, and he narrowed his eyes (as best as he could) in anger as he got back to his feet.
He was lucky he'd done his chanting, else that one might have finished him. But even though he could feel himself weakening, the fight was not over yet.
::natu:: Hit by Sand Attack and Tackle! Natu used Night Shade!

Eleanor smiled and Aeria didn't even attempt to dodge as the Night Shade dispersed around her, the Ghost Type move not affecting the little avian thanks to her natural resistance to Ghost Type moves. "Gust," demanded Eleanor, and the Pidgey flapped her wings, generating yet another Gust to try to blow the shiny Natu away. ::pidgey:: Aeria used Gust. [/B]

The Natu's eyes widened in horror as his Night Shade had no effect against the Pidgey. Doom and hopelessness seemed to settle into the little bird's heart. The Gust attack just made him feel even worse as he was blown away by the sheer power. The Natu flopped onto the ground after the Gust attack, his breath becoming ragged. His eyes looked up fearfully at the Trainer and Pidgey, knowing it was futile to keep fighting. Thinking quickly, the Natu tried to rise back into the air, but weakenss in his wings made gravity drag him back down to the earth. His only option was to flee by land. The Natu quickly hopped onto his feet and tried to scurry away. Hit by GustShiny Natu is weakening. Natu is trying to flee Pursue? Y/N

"I don't think so." Eleanor drew the Pokeball that had been pecked away before and hurled it at the Natu. In its current condition, fleeing and weak, it would hopefully be easily catchable.
Picking up the Net Ball too, she tried for the third time to throw it at the Buizel. Perhaps she would have better luck the second time around.

"Wha?!" The shiny, sparkling and debonair Natu looked back as it tried to flee. As he looked back however he saw a ball fly to his face and absorbed him. The Natu had always been free. However the colors of the Natu have always been some sort of curse to him. Not always having friends due to it's oddness and always having trainers that wanted him for his unique coloring. As he entered was in the Pokeball trying to fight its way out he could hear that another ball was thrown against the Buizel. He then thought that the fact the Natu himself was captured by a trainer like this was somewhat great. It was like a mithdrate to his poison. Maybe he should just get captured and just let the trainer get him in the collection. Accepting the trainers capture it let itself be captured by the ball. The Buizel on the other hand did not have much to think or say about being hit by the ball as he was fainted. No energy to fight back he gave a slight thought to his girlfriend before succumbing to the red light that absorbed the water Pokemon. Eleanor smiled at the successful capture of her first shiny Pokemon as the two Pokeballs vanished to her PC, one after the other, first the Natu's, and then the Buizel's quickly following behind.
Returning Aeria to her Pokeball, she put it away and moved on, satisfied with her catch and ready for another encounter.

He shivered from where he hid, eyes widened in horror as he watched how that Trainer had seemingly ruthlessly captured the Natu and Buizel. His previous purpose of observing the fight was to learn more about how the humans are and perhaps give them a chance. However, the way that the Female trainer had captured the two ex-wild Pokemon, he abondoned his previous goal. Now, his only thought was to leave before she discovered him. The little Nidoran pried himself from the bramble bush he had hidden in. However, the thorns that dug into his skin made it difficult to distangle himself. More unfortune hit him as he tripped over the few strands of bramble and fell out of the bush, into the view of the Trainer. The Nidoran looked up and let out a squeak of fear, eyes wide as he gazed at the female human, trembling from where he stood. <Please don't hurt me,>he whimpered. Nidoran has appearedMood Fearful

As the Nidoran suddenly threw itself in her path, Eleanor felt the tiniest of smiles form on her face. This Nidoran was terrified, and though she wanted a male to go with her female, capitalizing on this little one's fear might make it so afraid that it would have to go with her. Out came Glameow, the elegant feeling prowling around with her tail in the air as she kept her eyes firmly on the prize, golden eyes wandering around the Nidoran's craggy, brittle form, looking for some meat within the thin form, not that Eleanor would allow the Poison Pin Pokemon, unless the mouse like Pokemon was so weak that it died before Eleanor was through with it. >Alright Crystal. Use Fake Out, now," demanded Eleanor, and with a mew of assertion, the Glameow leaped forward =, slamming her paws ont he ground to create a shockwave effect that surged towards the terrified Nidoran. ::glameow:: Crystal used Fake Out. Plowing Through Route One
The Nidoran♂ cried out as the Catty Pokémon appeared. Her absolutely debonair disposition could only mean she was experienced. He had no chance of fighting her! However, there was no time to react after she appeared as she already struck first with her Fake Out attack! He was struck but couldn't move! The muscles in his body didn't want to listen to him. He was stuck in his position with only the slight shaking of his body. He was absolutely terrified of what could happen now as he was a sitting Psyduck.
Mood: Terrified
- - Nidoran♂ was hit by Fake Out!

Eleanor laughed lightly as she saw the Nidoran freeze up in fear. "What's the matter?" she asked mockingly. "Don't tell me you're scared, you weak, lonely little piece of scum," she smiled cruelly. "Crystal, Growl and Scratch now," she demanded coldly of her Glameow. Haunches up as she let loose an intimidating Growl, she then launched herself at the Glameow, claws raised in an attempt to rake them into the Nidoran's back. Seeing as her Trainer didn't want this one dead, she couldn't really go for the fatal spots without risking the weak little thing dying where it stood. ::glameow:: Glameow used Growl and Scratch. There was no reasoning with this trainer, obviously. He just wanted to get away; to get back to his nest and he had made the fool move of watching this battle. It was useless; he was useless. There was no escape, but- but but- he had to escape! He shivered at the growl, and winced at the strikes of the cat's claws. Pity wasn't coming from this girl, he would have to force his escape. Maybe if he weakened this cat he could get away, into the tall grass and into as fast of a run as he could do. Dripping a little blood as he stood there, glaring at the trainer and the cat like Pokemon, he wasn't sure what to do. But then the mithridate to the pandoran poison of anxiety came. But he needed to focus, to focus, to focus, focus his energy. Then he made a charge; the little purple mouse like pokemon charging forward to slam into the cat's left shoulder, aiming to use the poison points of his body to maximum effect that he could. ::Nidoranm:: Nidoran♂ Used Focus Energy and Take-down.

The Growl was more than made up for by the Nidoran's Focus Energy/ But that would only make its recoil hurt all the more. As the Take Down attack slammed into Crystal, making her howl in pain, Eleanor was wary of Poison Point, but also grateful for Rivalry, which made Nidoran's attack lower since Crystal was female. With a hiss of pain as she shook her head, blood flying here and there, Eleanor waited for her mistress' orders. "Scratch," was the order, and the Glameow obeyed it, rushing at the Nidoran with a mew as she raised her claws to rake the Nidoran across its young face. She wanted to see the Pokemon cry.[/I] ::glameow:: Crystal used Scratch. [/B]

The male Nidoran made the closest thing the little purple mouse like pokemon could come to a yelp as the Cat rushed forward, once again hitting him with scratch. The little beast should've not been so heuristic, as being so prone to trail and error tactics wasn't smart in the wild. Needless to say, he had to fight and weaken this cat if he wanted to get away. Focus, focus, focus, Nidoran! You can do it! He pumped himself up, focusing his energy again and then charging in with another Take Down, trying to aim for its poison points to hit the Cat. The little poisonous mouse like pokemon might not be much, but his poison could win the day. ::Nidoranm:: Nidoran♂ hit by Scratch. Used Focus Energy and Take Down!
