Cranidos nearly uttered a sigh of exasperation as the Volbeat flew up from where he was before, and slid through the dust until he was standing still again. He heard the trainer say something and turned to focus on what the insect would do, but he'd turned into many copies.
Tapping her foot irritably, Sierra tried to make out the real Volbeat. "Uh, Seryl.. attack the one to the bottom right of you..?" She said uncertainly, and the Cranidos, for some reason thinking she had a basis for this command, moved to action and attempted to headbutt the Volbeat copy she had directed him to. {{ooc/ whether this puts him out of the way of the tackle, I'm uncertain \(ouo)/ }}

As the Headbutt collided with the double teamed copy, it mysteriously vanished into thin air. It wouldn't even feel like anything against the Cranidos's skin since it was only a mirage. It smirked from the left of the attacking Pokemon's side, grateful that the rock type had been two clones off in his attack. He turned to face his trainer with a pleased grin, canceling off the double team since it was pretty hard to maintain all of the time.
"This time, you gotta use your Flash!" Alice shrieked, full of stress from her previous loss of Missus. Not like the Illumise died or anything, but it felt like her own pride was lost. Plus, knowing that the dumb rock type was resistant to her Pokemon's only offensive moves was rather annoying.
The Volbeat snickered as he twirled around in an elegant fashion before proceeding to 'moon' the Cranidos with his tail. It was a glowing orb, to be more accurate. At will, it started to brim profusely with an obnoxiously bright energy, suddenly bursting like a camera flash. Ouch. That was going to hurt.

Cranidos let out an annoyed growl as he burst through thin air, having wasted his headbutt on one of the clones. Turning, he saw that the Volbeat had unsplit himself back to one copy - thank goodness. Then he heard the trainer's command - use Flash! - and nodded his head to one side, baffled as to what the attack "Flash" was. He'd been facing Volbeat's direction, and as the bug mooned him he was in for a bad surprise.
The harsh light erupted from the Volbeat's butt, assaulting the Cranidos' eyesight and causing him to blink from the pain. When he finally was able to regain some of his sight, the world seemed a flashing blur from the lasting impression of the light on his eyes. Letting out a harsh growl, he advanced towards a red and black blob, hoping it was the Volbeat, and ducked his head down to Headbutt it without waiting for a command from Sierra.
His trainer had heard the girl's command and turned her head to avoid being blinded by the harsh light. When she turned back to see the battle again, she saw Cranidos looking dazed and unsure, constantly shaking his head. Then he started to go towards something - she hoped he was aiming for the Volbeat and not something else.

Feeling a wave of accomplishment engulf his body, the Volbeat couldn't contain his proud chuckles. With a haughty puff of his chest, he crossed his arms as he boldly flew over each of the rampaging Cranidos's assaults. With improved evasiveness and the rock typed dummy's lowered accuracy, this was starting to be a breeze.
It was a shame that their offense was pretty lacking though. Now was the perfect opportunity to make their move; while their opponent wasn't calm and collected. Alice caught onto this, and even though she had to dodge the dinosaur's attacks, she managed to scream out an order of her own.
"Tackle it when it gets close to one of the trees." She ordered, knowing that her bug type's power alone wouldn't be able to hurt the beast. So without missing a beat, Mister took a chance to tackle the Cranidos into one of the nearby trees in hopes of making it collide into one of them.

Sierra saw the firefly nearing her beloved Cranidos and shouted, mostly out of reflex, "Run faster, Seryl!!" The rock-type pokemon heard her voice and charged even faster past the tree, just avoiding the tackle that the Volbeat had aimed at him. Hearing the buzzing noise that the bug was generating by flapping his wing membranes, he turned and went for another Headbutt at the bug-type.

Yay! It's now logic fun time! Mister had just missed his Tackle attack, in which he was aiming to squish the Cranidos into the tree. When he missed, he was going so fast that there was no time for him to stop from colliding into the said tree. To make matters worse, the Cranidos had spotted him with clear vision, and managed to use a Headbutt on him as he was just recovering from his tree injury.
Ouch. The bug type felt some uncomfortable cracks within his body as he slumped down from the tree; weak and weary. With a dazed expression, his eyes stared right up at the big blue sky before closing them out of exhaustion.
{Mister has fainted. All participating Pokémon gain a level.}
"R-return Mister." Alice cautiously retrieved her Volbeat into his Pokeball and eyed Sierra with a nervous fidget. What was she supposed to do now? Talk about awkward. Though she really wanted that Zigzagoon, she had no Pokémon to fight it with. She sighed dejectively as she walked off.
<...what's her problem.> The Zigzagoon huffed, annoyed at this entire situation. The Buizel had been clapping and whistling enthusiastically the entire time, as if they were preforming for his sake. The Zigzagoon didn't seem to want a part of any of this and merely sulked off. The Buizel stayed out of curiosity to see if anything else was going to happen.

Sierra smiled friendily as Alice looked at her, but she'd simply turned back around with a sigh and stalked off. Her smile turned to a nervous one as she called out, "Uhm.. I had fun too..?" Then shook her head in a carefree way. Who cares what negative people think? She also just remembered - it was her first success against a trainer! She nearly squeaked with excitement.
Turning, she saw Cranidos nearly shining with pride, but the dirt and bruises all over his body gave truth that he had to work to do it. Sierra knelt down and beckoned to him with her arms outstretched, and when he reluctantly came she carefully wrapped her arms around him. She was starting to get the hang of hugging him, although it still hurt a bit. Then his jaws brushed against her arm as he yawned tiredly. "You need a rest," said Sierra as she got up and brushed the dirt off of her clothes. He simply nodded a little. "Well, I can carry you for a bit!" She suggested, enjoying his company far too much to stuff him back into his pokeball. He nodded gratefully, then nestled in her grasp in a way that didn't press his horns into her tender skin.
Then she remembered there had been two Pokémon somewhere that she'd just met! She turned abruptly and saw that the Zigzagoon was sulking away like a dejected puppy. "Umm, where are you going...?" She asked, a little too quietly. "Well, have a nice day then? Zigzagoon." She finished, shrugging her shoulders confusedly. No pokemon she'd ever met was as sullen as that raccoon. The prospect that all pokemon had different personalities excited her, anyway.
She ran over to Buizel, whose cheering had kept her going through the match. He was definitely a Pokémon she'd love if she caught him.
"Hey, Buizel... you like battles?" She asked, more a rhetorical question than a curious one. He'd seemed excited the whole time about the fight, and as an added bonus she won - maybe she could convince the happy-go-lucky guy to join her.

The Buizel grinned widely as Sierra ran over to him. <Hiyas! Don't mind him. He's always like that.>
The water pokemon shrugged and gazed off to the place his friend disappeared when he half caught was the girl said to him. <Battles what? Oh battles! Gotcha. And sure. I like a good fight though I much prefer just playing games... Wait... OH OH OH!> The Buizel began bouncing on it's hind feet, obviously excited about something. <Let's play Bush Wars! Please please please please please!> He continued his mass amount of pleases before gazing with large eyes at the trainer. <Just one game? I'll even work with conditions, just play!> Seems it really wants to play.

Sierra gave a laugh as she listened to him plead with her. It was so easy to understand Pokémon chatter sometimes. "You sound just like me - I like playing, too." She replied, grinning. "And sure thing! But if I win... I get to catch you, and we can play bush wars all the time. Deal?" She gave a wink as she offered this.
Then she stood up and ran into the bush that Zigzagoon had been hiding in, crouching so that she was out of sight. "So how exactly do you play?" She asked, somewhat bewildered on that subject.
She'd set Seryl down on a soft bunch of leaves so that he could sleep peacefully as she played.

The Buizel nodded vigorously to the terms, agreeing to it. It apparently just wanted to get started and when he saw Sierra run to the bush that Zigzagoon was previously in, it ran to the bush it was in before also.
<It's easy as pie!>
The water Pokémon laughed. Who hasn't played Bush Wars before? Silly human. <All you have to do it throw things at each other, trying to pin point exactly where the other is! Once you pick a spot you can't leave it so no cheating!
<Now, to win what you have to do is either get the other to leave the bush, or to hit them three times in a row. When you're hit you have to shout a number, to signify how many time in a row you've been hit. If the other misses, you get to restart the count down. You understand? If so get in the spot you want (no hiding behind things either) and then say ready. You can throw first.> Quickly, the Buizel went into the spot it deemed best. It was right at the edge of the bush and to (Sierra's) left. A tree next to him blocked him from being viewed should she try to peek around the bush.

Sierra crouched, listening to him as he recounted the rules. She bit her lip - this might be somewhat of a challenge. "Okay, ready!" She shouted after he finished. Quickly she reached for a small rock and tossed it where she thought she heard a little rustling. It was to her left - but she regretted throwing it so carelessly. She often missed her mark unless she aimed first.

The Buizel heard the trainers call and curled up on itself to take up the least amount of space. A rock landed surprisingly close and it curse himself. He should of said the directions before moving to his spot. Smooth.
Grabbing a rock from the ground it chucked it towards the other bush, aiming towards the center, about a foot back from the edge on the back side. The human was larger then a pokemon, aiming for the middle made it easy since they have to be closer towards it to avoid being seen from the sides of the bush.

Sierra looked up to see a rock flying towards her and attempted to avoid it by going into a different position on the ground, but failed; it landed on her butt. "One.." She said miserably. She bit her lip and grabbed a larger rock, this time aiming carefully at the spot where she'd heard some little noises. Hopefully this would make Buizel come out.
Remembering that in one of the rules, you'd also win if you caused the other Pokémon to exit their bush, she called out: "Hey, Buizel! If you don't get out of that bush I won't play with you again!" She threatened childishly. Hopefully her bluff would bring a reaction out of him, at least.

The Buizel almost yipped with joy when he heard the one but he held it in, have to stay calm. That was however until a giant rock came hurtling towards his face. <OH GOD!>
CRASH! The water weasel laid sprawled out on the ground before muttering out a 'one'. Pushing himself back to his spot shakily he rubbed his head in pain. <Ow, ow, ow> He bent to pick up a pokeball to throw when he heard what Sierra yelled. <WHAT?! I don't play with sore losers so if you think that then I guess it's best I'm not going to be caught by you!> He laughed back. Apparently other pokemon have tried this (aka Zigzagoon). Tossing the shiny metal ball, he tried to get it where it shot last time but he let go a bit too soon. It went slightly more right and far back this time. Hopefully it would still hit her. Sierra smirked as she heard the pokemon's cries from the bush where she'd thrown the rock. Now she knew where to through it, but it was still a challenge as she couldn't peek too far or risk showing her face to him. She heard him reply to her threat sassily and she giggled a bit, even though her attempt had failed. This buizel was a pro.
Then, suddenly she saw a pokeball appear out of his bush. This alarmed her a bit but not enough so that she couldn't dodge the throw - this time she was able to pull her sprawled-out legs from behind her so that the pokeball didn't hit her butt this time. However, the maneuver had propped her head up above her bush, which may have allowed the Buizel to pinpoint her location. She ducked quickly again, searching for another rock. She picked a relatively small one this time that she hoped he wouldn't be able to see, and stuffed the pokeball he threw at her into her purse. No use wasting items like that, right?
She threw the small rock at Buizel, hoping that he wouldn't be able to spot it coming.

The weasel-like creature's eyes' pupils retracted against the beige pebble, sending an urgent signal for him to crouch under the rock's line of vision. Following this train of thought, it buckled its' furry knees and ducked, but upon the realization that something of great interest was up in that tree, it sprinted back upwards to a standing position and examined the really badass Caterpie having the time of its' life with the leaf on that branch.
Something along the lines of 'lol whoopsie doodle' went through its' Buizel brain when the rock hit the Pokémon in what seemed to function as the shin bone, and sent the Buizel a good foot backward, paws clutching at its' leg and employing a few top-choice Poke-swears to the moment.
Buizel is paralyzed! Buizel may be unable to move.

{{ooc/ lul ari, buizel totally went ooc in that post ;u; }}
Sierra couldn't help but wince in guilt at the barrage of poke-swears she heard coming from the water otter's mouth, but also chuckled a bit as she watched the moment pass. Seeing her chance, she picked up a good-sized rock and chucked it at the water Pokémon. If it hit, it'd be the one to net her a win for the game. She really wanted to obtain such a wily Buizel to have fun with.

The buizel was still pawing at its injury, trying to dull the pain. But wait, the game! He had to play the game! It was now Sierra's turn to throw the stone, and if it hit him, he'd lose! He quickly curled himself into a ball, hoping that the girl might have failed a bit in aiming. He closed his eyes, squeezing it shut as if it would make him any smaller.
And then he felt it. The stone had almost missed him, but he felt it brush past his fur, nicking him on the sides. His eyes snapped wide open in horror. Had he... had he lost? But he was the best at this game! He was THE bush war player! Slowly, he uncurled himself. How could he have lost? If someone managed to defeat him, then that meant that... that meant that Sierra must be an even BETTER player! Suddenly, he was not as disappointed anymore and uncurled himself.
"Three," he said, before stepping out of the bushes, a smile on his face. Maybe if he studied under this master bush war player, he would also become better at the game!

Sierra waited tensely after she'd thrown the rock, hearing the rustling going on in the bush in front of her. She was running out of projectiles near her vicinity to throw, after all. However, she finally heard him say three, and a rustling noise as he exited his fortress, and her nerves were calmed. A bubbly excitement filled her as she cheered and stood up, exiting her own bush.
"That was so much fun!! We'll definitely play again!" She shrieked enthusiastically, finding it hard to quell her urge to happydance in place. "This means we'll be friends forever! Woo hoo!" She shouted. Snatching the pokeball that buizel had thrown at her during the game, she knelt and tossed it underhandedly at the otter, awaiting his capture with glee.
By this time Seryl had woken up to Sierra's cries of joy and stood from his leaf bedding, yawning tiredly. He wasn't quite in prime condition yet, having woken up prematurely from the yelling, but he supposed he could still hold his own against one pokemon. He walked unsteadily over to Sierra's side, and she patted his head affectionately as he yawned again.

The buizel did not fight the pokeball, knowing that a deal was a deal, and now he was going to be a master bush war's Pokémon. A proud Pokémon indeed. The pokeball shot out its red light, engulfing the weasel before sucking it in. The pokeball shook once... twice... three times... before finally closing with a click.
