OOC: Hooray for diplomacy!
The Trapinch calmed down as well, her freakishly huge mouth now making only a happy smile instead of a scary one. <Hehe, why thank you! I will admit, I'm just now starting on this whole battling thing. Kind of harsh, but I gotta say, I was kind of enjoying it too. You weren't that bad either. I gotta say, being paralyzed is->
SMACK!
A Pokeball hit the wild Paras hard on the head, then opened to absorb it into a brilliant flashing red light. Once it shut, Hera, turned to her trainer in surprise. "Got 'im! I did, right?" Emen seemed rather proud at the work he did, unaware that Hera saved both of them the trouble if Paras continued to fight. Now all they could do is wait...

Paras did not excpect the pokeball. at all. Da-Na-Na-Naaaa!
Emen casually strolled over to the wild Pokemon's new home and picked it up. "A Paras... This little guy can actually be pretty useful with those poisons." He glanced down at Hera. "It is a guy, right?" She nodded, and then slowly began walking back to the path. Her paralysis wouldn't go away with time, something that might make any future battles difficult until it was cured. Emen followed, clipping the Pokeball to his coat. "You did good by the way. Even after getting hurt and slowed you kept trying."Hera gave him an approving glance, glad to be recognized for her effort, and the two were on their way again. At this point, the sun had set, and it was getting harder to see. <Feh, I can still fight, even with being clawed and crippled.> Emen wasn't worried about his Trapinch. This new Paras however took quite a beating. He would fix that. With a push of a button, Paras was back outside, currently disoriented and in a daze. <Whoa, uh, where um, where did I go just now?> Emen already had the potion out to get the little guy back in shape. "Okay, little guy, this might sting a bit, or a lot, I don't know for sure."The Paras merely blinked. This human was with that Trapinch, right? That promised not to take away mushies. Good! Those were his. He nodded in preparation, and Emen went ahead and sprayed him with the canister. He waited for this pain that he mentioned but... it never really came. <Nope, not feelin' nuthin'.> Maybe the creature's nervous system was altered from being in a never-ending high? Poor thing... With that, Emen called the Paras back into his Pokeball, still in decision over a nickname. "I'll come up with one later..." He began walking once more, eager to get to the end of Route One as quick as possible.
::Trapinch:: Injured, still in the lead. ::Paras:: Healed! But still high.

::spoink:: INTERACT? "Leave me alone," a spoink was shouting in a distance. She was bouncing around the place, trying to rid of something that was stuck on her spring. She was screaming at the inanimated object, trying to rid of it by bouncing. The 'thing' was cake, yep. Cake. And to make it even more delicious, it was chocolate cake. Scrumptious. She, however, hated cake. She disliked it, despised it. Would rather jump off a cliff than eat cake. It was her worst nightmare. "Get it off me," she sobbed.

Emen blinked at the sight he was seeing. Some kind of pig Pokemon, bouncing erratically in an attempt to free itself of... was that cake? This one did not seem as aggressive, merely preoccupied. He couldn't turn away from such a sight, mainly due to how silly it looked, but he still felt he should do something. "Hera, try and talk to it, see what's wrong, and hope this doesn't end up like the first time." Emen brought out his Pokedex to get some data on this Pokemon in the meantime.
The Trapinch happily began walking towards it, making sure to announce herself so it didn't look like she was sneaking up on the poor thing. <Ahem, uh, hello there!? Do you need help with that?> It looked to her the Spoink was trying to free herself of delicious cake. But why!? Delicious cake was delicious... and it was cake! This confused Hera.

"It's this chocolate cake, it's my phobia and it's stuck to my spring." She bounced around, trying to get the thing from her spring. Bouncing only made one or two crumbs fall off every ten bounces and soon she got tired and bounced slowly. "Help," she pleaded.

Hera couldn't help but giggle at the sight. <Why would you be afraid of chocolate cake? It's not that bad, really.> Watching the Spoink bounces get slower and less energetic had her rush the subject. <Okay, okay, sure. Just, try to hold still.> She an idea to solve this, the only way she knew how...
Emen watched from the sidelines as he let the Pokedex list known data on Spoink. "It's a psychic type? Doesn't look it, but still cool. The pearl amplifies its powers... and if it stops bouncing it can die?" He looked back up to see Hera attempting to bite the cake off of the wild Spoink as it bounced. "Don't trip it over or anything! That'll kill the little guy!" He didn't want a dead Pokemon on his conscious, especially one that was sorta cute.
<Yeah, yeah, I hear ya.> She muttered as she kept biting thin air. Having the Spoink moving around in several directions was messing up her aim. <Try bouncing in the same spot. I can take off half of it then and the other half will just fall off... I think.> She suggested.

A Wild Pokemon Has Appeared ! "I MIGHT DIE!?" The spoink screamed, and it began bouncing around the trapinch in a much swifter motion. All she had heard was "that'll kill the little guy!" and she flipped out. "No, no! Don't kill me! I'm too young to die!" She cried, as she circled around the trapinch still. She just could not die yet, not without having a pickle...or maybe a popsicle. She imagined her last popsicle as she bounced around crying. The cake encased in her spring began to loosen a little.
freakin' out

Oh great, now Emen spooked the poor girl. Hera wasn't all that happy now that it was making this harder. She didn't dare bite without risking hitting the tail, especially at the speeds Spoink was going. <Well now look what you did! She's scared for her life instead of simply terrified of a confectionery delight!>
Emen had a basic idea of what Hera was yelling at him for. "What? Better than us making a mistake and ending up hurting the Spoink, or worse." He argued, hoping that was at least what she was metaphorically chewing him out for. After that, the two kept yelling back and forth who's fault it was and how they should proceed, almost completely ignoring the wild Spoink herself.
OOC: It's fun to be incompetent, sometimes.

Spoink kept bouncing around super fast around the Trapinch, still freaking out. Oh god the chocolate cake, her phobia, were still hanging on to her tail, but she thought she felt it loosen. She bounced over to the trainer, beginning to bounce around him super fast.
OH MY GOD GET IT OFF ME CAREFULLY SO THAT I DON`T DIE!!
She yelled, trying to bounce at one place. But she failed. She bounced backwards and forwards, not able to stay in one place for the cake to be taken off.
::Spoink:: STILL A LITTLE FREAKED OUT

Having the Spoink bounce back into view reminded Emen to focus. This encounter was starting to lose it's novelty. Now the little bouncing pig was starting to get annoying. "Hmmm, Paras does have Stun Spore..."
Hera however was still certain she could get it off of the wild Pokemon. With her temporary ailment however, this was harder than she would admit it to be. The Trapinch would chase the Spoink to one spot, only to have her skip to another space. <Ugh... This is taking forever!> She sighed, simply watching her continue to hop in terror, when Hera noticed that the cake was a little bit further from her body than before. Maybe the wild Pokemon's more erratic movements were helping? <You've been bouncing a lot more than before you ran into us, right? Have you been giving it your all?>
Emen spotted this little detail by now too. Maybe being confronted by both her fear and possible death was a good thing... As long as she didn't actually die.

Spoink looked at the Trapinch. She had been bouncing alot more...And the cake did seem farther away. She started bouncing ectremely fast around them both in a 8 pattern. The cake began to slowly go off her.
ITS WORKING! THE FASTER I GO THE FASTER IT GOES OFF ME!!
She yelled, still bouncing around them.
::Spoink:: Is bouncing around supermegafast

Both the trainer and Pokemon stared as this half-thought out plan was already enacted, and working! Both of them were renewed with excitement and cheered her on.
"You're getting it! Just keep going!" Emen told her.
<Show that cake who's boss! Just a little more!> Hera chipped in.

Spoink kept bouncing, starting to spin as she bounced. It ended in the cake going off from the gravity force from it, but it ended in going for Emen`s face. So unless somehting happened, Emen would get chocolate cake in his face.
THE EVIL CHOCOLATE CAKE HAVE FREED ME! HURRAY
She yelled, unaware of the cake going for Emen.
::Spoink:: Free of the cake Cake going for Emen`s face What happens next???

Hera jumped for joy finally seeing the cake fly off... and then continue flying right into her trainer's face. She tried to run up and intercept it, but her paralysis didn't let her get too far.
Emen didn't have much time to react, nor did have that good a reaction time going up against a cake flying at who-knows-how-many miles per hour. He didn't even have enough time to crouch or raise his hands to cover his precious face. The cake impacted with his face, leaving a spectacular mess as much of it fell down his coat right away and drop to the ground.
Hera stared at the damage the chocolate confectionery caused, and tried to hold back a giggle. That didn't last too long, as she soon broke out into a laugh, almost rolling onto her back from the sight.
He blinked, if anyone could see through his frosting covered glasses, and felt the damage around him, trying to brush off what he could from his shirt immediately. Emen was, infuriated? Livid? In loathing? Maybe annoyed, because that's what he seemed to look on the outside as he sighed to himself. "Please tell me that wasn't actually aimed at me..."

The cake had gone flying off, and the Spoink continued to bounce around, completely oblivious that his captor had instead found itself a new target. Upon hearing the other Pokémon suddenly burst out in laughter, he felt like he needed to be a part of it. So, he gave himself another bounce and spun around in the air to get a better look. What he saw made him stop and stare for a while. Then he started laughing in the same manner that the Trapinch. He wasn't even sure if he was laughing at this human or not. Just that Trapinch was laughing might have been reason enough for him to laugh as well. He liked to be a part of the crowd, after all. At Emen's words, he suddenly stopped laughing and looked down slightly. No, it wasn't on purpose...> he said, apologetically. <I'm sorry, mister.> With that, he smiled once more. <But thanks for the help. That thing was one nasty beast...no matter how hard I tried, it didn't seem to want to go away...it just kept following me, stuck to my springy tail. But when you two came along, I was finally able to throw it off...thanks for that!> The Spoink was definitely a strange Pokémon. And if the human accepted his apology...he had every intention of starting to laugh again. ::Spoink:: Laughs, then apologizes

OOC: Wasn't this Spoink female in the earlier posts?
Emen had half a mind to order Hera to chomp on the innocent Spoink, then maybe have her hurt herself somehow for instigating the laugh. It took him a minute before he let out a deep sigh, trying to calm himself down. Flip out? Over delicious cake? He was better than that. "Okay, okay, I know you didn't mean it." The kid glanced over at his Trapinch, who's laughter had mostly died down. "I admit, it was kinda funny."
<Hell yeah it was.>
"You're welcome for the help. It was an, experience, ridding you of that, uh, vile cake." Vile enough for him. The proof was all over his clothes. Emen continued to try and clean himself as best he could with his hands as he went on. "M'kay, you can run along now."
<Or maybe come with us.> Hera chipped in. <I mean, only if you really want to.> Emen seemed to be unaware of the idea, and conversation, since he could never fully understand what these Pokemon were saying. <I'm not sure how picky he is about getting more Pokemon on his side.>

Ooc: yes it was. Digi messed up, failing to read the posts fully. He does that sometimes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Spoink looked at them, blinking. Was she offered a way to bounce higher than ever? But that meant to start traveling with them....But then again, they had saved her from the evil cake, so why should she not follow them? Leave home to bounce more, or stay home and try to bounce higher herself....
I think i want to be with you on your journey. I WANT TO BOUNCE HIGHER THAN EVER!
She said, bouncing up and down, awaiting the pokeball from the trainer.

Hera smiled at her agreement. The party was starting to grow now. <Great! My human isn't all that bad at what he does. I promise it'll be interesting.> She looked up at her trainer to see when he would capture the Spoink.
Emen however didn't take the wild Pokemon's intentions right away. In fact, he began walking right away, expecting Hera to follow. It only took a few steps before he turned around, seeing neither of the Pokemon "Uh, we're done here. You can go now. C'mon Hera."
<Ugh, idiot just can't get a clue. Gimme a moment.> She scampered to catch up with him first, taking the lead, but sat down right in his way before Emen could take more than a few steps. She pointed her entire body back towards the Spoink like a hound.
The trainer blinked, facing the wild Pokemon once more. It took Emen a second before he finally understood what she wanted. "Oh... Oh! I see now." So, he could add a cute, hyperactive, telekinetic pig on a spring to his team... Well why didn't he think of this before!?
The next second, he tossed the Pokeball at the Spoink, albeit less harder than he did with Paras.
