He smiled at the Pidgey in his arms. She was alright and that was a relief to him. He could turn his attention back to the Spearow for now. With the Pidgey still cradled in his arms he took a step towards the offender. He has no clue what he was going off about, but he was going to speak his mind. "Shouldn't all of you bird types try to get along? You guy must see a lot of each other!" It made good sense to the human anyways. But what did humans know anyways about getting along with their own species.[/blockquote]

::pidgey:: ::spearow:: Pokemon encounter ! The Pidgey shivered in Alexander's arms from the pain of the Spearow's brutality, eyes shut for fear of looking at the bird the wrong way. Spearows, she knew, had rotten tempers.
Spearow scowled at the foolish boy. Who was he to challenge the ways of wild pokemon, who had lived on the earth for years just fine how they were? <We see too much of each other is wot's the problem,> Replied the sparrow, eyes narrowing at him. <Now take dat mug and get lost. I gowta family ta feed.> The bird stared Alex down, anticipating the man's next action.

Raff didn't need to understand what the Spearow was saying to get the message. He was talking back to Raff. He was defending his actions, for whatever reason he had. The human didn't understand them, literally he didn't. He frowned, holding the Pidgey closer to his body. Raff could have fought against the Spearow, but his own poke'mon had just all be used in a battle. It would be extremely unkind to call upon them while they were resting. So he gave in defeat and turned, walking away with the Pidgey in his arms. "It's alright there little girl. You'll grow up into a big, strong Pidgeot someday and then we'll see if he dares pick on you like that."

The Pidgey shivered but looked up to the trainer with big eyes. <Y-you t-think so?> She asked, worrying he was only saying that.
The Spearow was getting even more angry. <Alright, we tried it da nice way. Now it's time for da hard way, you swee heres?> The Spearow said before he flapped up his wings and went right for Raff's head.

He nodded to the Pidgey to reassure her. She seemed worried. "I can tell you've got the strength!" He said with a wide grin, lifting a hand to pat her head affectionately. Instead he felt a rough peck on the back of his head and the rushing of air past him as the Spearow beat his wings. Raff's arm instead was flipped upward to shoo the Spearow away. But he was angry now. He grit his teeth and removed his newest poke'mon from his belt, tossing the ball he sent out the still rather upset Snover. It immediately began to hail. Raff glared at the Spearow. "Shoo. Get outta here you pest! Or are you ready to atack someone from the front this time?"

Spearow frowned. This was a matter of pride now. This kid had gone and insulted his pride. His bravado wasn't just words. It was action too, and he was about to show that. The trees were full of susurrous sounds as the other Spearow gathered to watch their brethren succeed or fail when a hailstorm started. Those in the trees were safe, but the Spearow was struck painfully by several stones, the ice melding painfully with his body. The Pidgey was hit too, and cried out in pain as blood formed on her wings, galumphing under some foliage to escape while the Spearow hissed in fury. If only he'd had some prescience of this! He could have reacted sooner. >Alright, bub! You asked for it!" Spearow took flight, wheeling down as he tried to slam his beak into the Snover's face, aiming right for the middle of its nose. Damaged by Snow Warning. Spearow used Peck.Damaged by Snow Warning. Taking cover.

Tyrric was not happy to be sent out into a fight, there was still little fondness for his new trainer. However he was not against defending himself, especially against the aggrivating Spearow. <I'll fight for that little Pidgey.> He assured himself seconds before Spearow made contact with his face. The bird poke'mon's beak sending a sharp pain like a lightning bolt through his body. He frowned, immediately lifting both of his long, fluffy arms; pointing them like guns towards the Spearow he fired off a powder snow attack.

The susurrous sounds only grew louder as the mound of snow struck their owners' leader, sending him on his back, the sheer close range and the propulsion from the attack's formation enough to send him on his back without the snow freezing him. Breathing heavily as he stared up at the coldly bright blue sky, he forced himself to his feet as he hissed at the Snover, wings flapping at a faster pace than normal to display his rage, before he zoomed in close to attempt another Peck attack, trying his best to ignore the hail that lashed painfully off his wings and feathered back. ::spearow:: Damaged by Snow Warning. The Snover was more prepared for the second peck attack, as it was nearly identical to the Spearow's first move. Snover took a step backwards and twisted his body in order to dodge the peck, letting the Spearow fly past him. Immediately he lifted his arms again and fired off another powder snow towards the flying poke'mon's back side, aiming to slam him down into the snow with his fiercely cold breeze.

The Spearow cawed loudly as the Powder Snow hit him once again, making him land on the ground. <Now swee heres! This ain't how it's gonna end, ya swees?> The Speaorw cawed out.
Then, the Hail pelted him on the head again, a big bump was going to be there sooner or later. The Speaorw had enough in him for an attack, he flew at the Snover and tried to Peck at it.

His thick fur did not stop the small bird's beak from causing serious pain. Tyrric flailed his arms around to keep from falling over from the impact of the flying poke'mon. But he ended up falling over on his backside into the hail and snow gathering on the battle field. A look of determination overtook his white face as he rolled onto his belly and lifted himself back up to his feet. He was going to protect that cute little Pidgey... where ever she'd wandered off to. He lifted his arms as if to shoot the Spearow again with snow, but nothing came out, and then a second later the trees shook, and a couple dozen razor leaves flew at the Spearow.

as cold as ice, willing to sacrifice our love
The Spearow was expecting another painful wave of snow to strike him but nothing came. He had his eyes closed as to brace for impact but he opened them again when there was nothing. Suddenly, sharp leaves were shot out of the Snover's arms and he cried out as they struck him dead-on. They hurt a lot more than the snow did before but he had a resistance to it. That didn't stop him from falling onto the ground in pain. ::spearow:: <"Y-You got me, kid!"> he cried. He quickly got up but then felt very weak. He tried walking but it quickly turned into galumphing and then he just fell over on his side. He was beaten.

Tyrric calmed himself as the fiesty Spearow went down in defeat. As the battle ended so did the hail. Raff was already kneeling at the bush where the Pidgey has vanished into. His hands were gently pulling back branches to try and see where she'd gone off too, she seemed to have gotten hurt by the hail. Tyrric, who had fought the battle without commands from his trainer, was soon at his side. He still didn't like Raff, but plopped down beside him, copying his trainer while looking for the female Pidgey who had vanished when the hail started. <Hey. Little Pidgey... you okay?> Tyrric called into the bush. "It's alright now. The Spearow's fainted." Raff also called out into the bush. He ignored the fainted Spearow, having no desire to add him to his team.

The Pidgey was quite scared of the hail that came pouring down earlier. Luckily, it stopped. The Pidgey was cowering int he corner of a bush with her little tail sticking out where Alexander was looking. It was shaking in a comical fashion. She felt the draft on her bottom and she cried out as she thought it was the Spearow again but found that it was just the Trainer and his Pokemon. She let out a sigh of relief. ::pidgey:: <"G-Goodness! You scared me. The Spearow is down and out...?"> she asked. She looked behind Alexander to see the Tiny Bird Pokemon on the ground. It had passed out. She immediately felt a huge weight fall off of her shoulders. ::pidgey:: <"T-Thank you so much!"> said the Pidgey. She bowed to him in gratitude.
- Pidgey is quite thankful for your help! Continue to interact?

The Snover smiled wildly at the Pidgey. <You're very welcome!> Tyrric answered, reaching out with one of his white arms to pet the bird poke'mon on the head. Raff was smiling as well, both because the Pidgey was alright and becaue Tyrric seemed to be in a good mood, some good news for his trainer. He settled himself comfortably on his knees and reached around into his bag for an empty poke'ball. Expanding it he cradled it in both hands, showing it to the Pidgey. "Would you like to come with us? I could help you get stronger and become a Pidgeot!"

The Pidgey's eyes studied the Pokeball for a while, well she did enjoy being with them and they were fun to hang around. Immediately he let his new poke'mon out of her ball to join him as they walked along. Raff was even in such a good mood that Tyrric was also allowed to remain outside of his pokeball. "Aella. Greek for whirlwind. I think that's a fitting name." He said to the Pidgey as she perched on his shoulder. Tyrric looked up at the pidgey, he also seemed happy that she was joining the team. He began wandering down the path again, and Raff followed the Snover along the path.

Lying in the middle of the route was a Psyduck on his back. Was he dead? He didn't appear to be moving, maybe something else got to him first. Oh wait, it appears to be snoring. Well, at least it's a live. So thats a good sign, although why would a Psyduck being sleeping in the middle of the route? Quite odd, maybe worthy checking it out.

This wasn't something he was expecting to come across. Raff slowed his walking as he saw the thick yellow poke'mon laying in the middle of the path. Aella also investigated the poke'mon, but cautiously from the shoulder of her trainer. Tyrric had no such caution. He marched foreword at the same pace, long arms reaching out to poke the Psyduck's chubby belly. <Not the best place to take a nap!> He informed the wild poke'mon.

Poking a wild Psyduck's belly was not the best move, not at all. But it could lead to hillarious Hijinks, no? No? As 'Raff's' hand came in contact with the little tangerine colored duck's furtheaters, and poked it slightly, the slumbering pokemon was jarred from it's sleep. Jarred so well that it seemed to be performing a perfect magikarp impersonation as it flailed around on the ground, whining <Pssssssyyyy-yyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiii-yyyyyyyaaaaaaiyaiyayaiyaiyaiyiaiyai!> it flailed round on the ground, trying to get itself off of it- but to no avail. It had finally gotten to sleep from the pills that traveling wooper saleswoman had traded him, and then this trainer woke him up? The flailing stopped, the duck galumphing to the ground angrily, as its ever present headache kicked in again. While it had been sleeping, it had had rest- but noooooooooooo; the trainer had to wake it up. And there was only thing that the little duck could think to do to counter that- as the noises in his head began again and made the air around them seem positively susurrous to him. He had to scratch this guy! Scratch him hard! And so the Pokemon waddled forward rather failingly, to try to swipe at Raff with a scratch. ::Psyduck:: Used Scratch on Rafffffff!
