He was absolutely obsessed with his new little Snorunt. He had the yellow cone-shaped pokemon cuddled in his arms as he walked along. Druscilla was making happy noises and pushing herself closer to Raff, nuzzling herself into his chest. <You're so warm> She smiled and clung to Raff, grabbing his black shirt in her little hands. Raff smiled and squeezed her against his body. Waddling along beside them both was Firenze the Bonsly. He took a few quick steps ahead of Raff and Druscilla, leading the way for his trainer and Dru. He began a sort of march-esque walking and smiled happily as he waddled along.
Raff, dressed in black cargo pants and a black tank-top, smiled downwards at Firenze. "Good job buddy. He praised his pokemon warmly. In reply Firenze did a little skip and smiled happily.

::snover:: Pokemon encounter ! Suddenly, a fat, snow covered pokemon crept out from a bush. Sniffing around for food wasn't doing him much good, it seemed, and he and his family were probably going to migrate further soon if their poor stomachs weren't filled in this region. He looked up, and what he saw displeased him - a trainer who seemed enthralled with his new starter was coming up the path. He'd seen his kind before - not often, but enough to come to a conclusion - and knew that sticking around would spell trouble.
Thus, not favoring a battle, the Snover ran into the nearest thick bush. This caused a big rustle in return, but he hoped the trainer would overlook such an oddity.

The rustle in the bush did not go unnoticed, especially by the easily excited Snorunt in Raff's arms. (Although all three did hear the rustling and see something white and furry trying to get away. Raff released Dru as she tried to wiggle her way out of his arms. She moved towards the bush without fear, Firenze not too far behind and with Raff bringing up the rear. "Firenze.. wait no." The Bonsly had waddled past Druscilla and was poking his head into the bush. There was obviously no fear in the young rock type poke'mon's heart. Firenze spotted the Snover and excitedly began jumping up and down, thinking he'd found something exciting and rather important. He pushed his way into the bush, towards the Snover before Raff could do anything about it. "Firenze, please don't pick a fight when I don't even know what you're going to fight against!" The young blond boy was worried that it might be some water-type poke'mon who could cause some serious damage to Firenze. Raff reached down and picked up Dru again.

as cold as ice, willing to sacrifice our love
The Snover knew the Trainer and his Pokémon saw him. He was at a loss as to what he should do. He couldn't very well allow himself to be taken away by a Trainer when his family was waiting for him. He also couldn't get away easily without the Trainer possibly attacking him.
<"Confused! Confused! What the heck to I do?"> thought the Snover. He thought about poking his head out of the bush to see if the Trainer was still here or not... Was that a good idea? Without thinking, he raised his head out of the bush and froze; he was looking straight at the Trainer and his Pokémon. He began to panic! At the same time, small bits of ice began to fall from the sky occasionally...
Mood: Panicked - Snover is getting scared!

Firenze was startled and stumbled backwards, tripping over his own feet. He fell on his rear end at Raff's feet, his eyes closed and he was shaking his head back and forth, obviously a bit disoriented. Raff smiled at the Snover, although he didn't see a Snover trying to provide for his family, he just saw a poke'mon he could fight and possibly catch. He lightly nudged Firenze with his foot, helping the small poke'mon to his feet at the same time as he reoriented him into reality. "Firenze, use low kick on the Snover!" Firenze gave his body one final shake, and then his eyes were open wide and he looked eager to please his trainer. He ran foreword, smashing into the brush he aimed a solid kick at where the Snover's body would be.

The Snover was surprised as the kick hit his body. It hurt and it hurt a lot. He knew that the trainer would attack him! He just knew it! Falling out of the bust and on too the ground he rolled a bit before looking at the Pokemon who kicked him. He had this odd feeling of anger towards him. It was not odd thou since this Pokemon is stopping him from getting food for him and his family. <You are going to pay for that!!>Thrown out of the state of shock he was in as he first put his eyes on the trainer and Pokemon started to twirl. As he did so leaves started to gather around him and as he stopped the leaves just flew towards the poor Pokemon in hopes of slicing him to bits! ::Snover:: Hit by Low Kick Used Razor Leaf

Razor sharp leaves rushed past the small bonsai poke'mon. He winced in pain, feeling strength leaving his body as the grass-type attack hurt his rock-type body. He fell backward onto his rear and rocked back and forth for a few seconds. His trainer's voice issued the next command. "Fake Tears, then be ready to use Copycat." Immediately tears welled up into Firenze's eyes as he finally got back to his feet, a baby's cry coming from his mouth minutes before he too spun around, kicking up his own leaves and letting them fly back at the male Snover. <Take that!> Firenze called out.

The snover had been struck hard by the low kick, but Razor Leaf made it shrug it off. It ignored the poor bonsly's tears, not buying it at all. He'd experienced fake people and pokemon, all trying to hurt him and his family. He wouldn't have any of that here and now! He was going to fight back! <"Here I go!"> The snover activated Snow Warning, causing the entire area to be engulfed in hail. This would help him damage the bonsly, as he was already super effective against him as is. He then jumped into the air, launching a round of Powder Snow at the opponent. Hail doubled the damage of it, and it helped him increase the chance of freezing the bonsly. Mood: Agitated Snover dodged Fake Tears but was hit by Razor Leaf! Not very effective! Snover used Powder Snow!

It grew colder. Firenze shuddered, the wind blowing against him and then finally small hail began to strike his body until they grew to the size that it hurt. Firenze, already hit with the hail, was soon buffeted by a strong wind filled with snow and more hail. Energy drained from him and he whirled backwards a few steps in pain, his body growing stiff but not enough to freeze him up this turn. "Flail." Raff was shielding his eyes from the wind-whipped down, although Dru the Snorunt was enjoying it. Firenze leapt up in the air to meet Snover, his body flailing around in all directions spastically, the power of the attack increased by the lack of energy Bonsly had left.

The Snover was hit by the Flail, a bit stunned by the manner of the attack. The small Bonsy was flailing his body everywhere which made the Snover blink as he was hit.
He got up and shook his head. He aimed his arms at the Bonsy and a Razor Leaf came out of his hands. The sharp leaves went flying at the Bonsy, at least a barrage of 15 came at it.

Firenze fell to his knees, pounded again by the hail before the razor leaves rushed by him, adding insult to the injury he already sustained. He wobbled backwards then finally fainted, one razor leaf too many for the rock-type poke'mon. As Raff recalled Firenze into his poke'ball for a rest, Dru leapt from his arms, the ice-type poke'mon was not only unbothered by the hail... but it seemed to bring new life into the young poke'mon. "Dru, powder snow." She leapt into the air, large sized hail spinning around her before each ice block burst, turned into the snow, and then flew along a strong wind towards Snover.

The Snover clapped his hands together. Well, that was fun wasn't it? He happily started to walk away but then was thrown face first into the ground due to the Power Snow.
He spitted the snow out of his mouth and got up to turn around. There was another Pokemon? How many did he have? Snover started to glare at the Pokemon, the Leer was going right at it. Then, he lifted his hands up and a large wind of snow went at it, the Powder Snow was heading right at the Pokemon.

Dru loved the hail, loved the cold. Literally, she was in her element. Another chilling blast rushed by her, stinging her body and sliding her back a few inches. It didn't feel pleasant at all. Without waiting for another command from Raff Dru kicked up a cloud of snow from the ground, letting it fall around her she suddenly began moving very rapidly, a double team attack, and it seemed that there was three of her standing in a line before the Snover. Each one used a powder snow attack on the cloud of snow she'd kicked into the air, although only one was the real Druscilla and the real attack.

Wild Snover!
{ Snover } Hit by Powder Snow Fainted. Bonsly and Snorunt gain .5 levels.
OOC:
This isn't true. Just so you all know.
Bewildered at the Double Team combined with the powdery snow in his mix of hail, the Snover could only raise his arm up to protect his vulnerable face. He grunted as the cold blast started to push him back, further and further, and he tried to open his eyes, just to get a good look at his elusive foe. The wind was so cold. Cold enough to sting his eyes back shut, until the blast finally shoved him right onto his back.
It was a clear case of being overpowered, due to his fatigue from the previous match with the Bonsly. Why, that battle actually made him stronger, but he was still injured. Any new strength or defense he would've gained was useless when he lacked health. The Snover could only let out a pitiful whine as he thought about his family; his brothers, the the two of them.
His parents-- well, his parents were gone. His mother only had him for several weeks before leaving him with the Snover swarm, and it gave him extremely protective feelings to his brothers. Why, for so many Pokemon with similar faces, only his family's faces were the most distinct. One last image of his brothers popped into his mind, his lifelong friends, as he fainted in the cold snow. The hail canceled out upon fainting, a true sign that he was out for the count.

The Snorunts soon all faded back into one and she smiled proudly. She turned and waddled back to Raff's side, leaping into her own poke'ball to begin resting, although she wasn't terribly beat up after that battle. Raff took an empty poke'ball from his belt. His fingers gliding over the round red and white surface as he both clicked the button to expand it and threw it towards the fainted poke'mon in the same motion. As it flew towards the fainted Snover he watched, eager to add the poke'mon to his team.

As the Pokeball hit the Snover's body it let out a small groan. Being sucked inside was painless but still, he didn't like the thought of being a captive Pokemon.
Inside he tried to put up a fight, but the poor thing was tired and worn out. He couldn't fight it even if he wanted to. Ugh, what a way to end his life as a wild Pokemon. The Pokeball finally did it's job and clicked after what seemed like years waiting for it.

Raff collected up the poke'ball as it came to rest, silent and still, on the ground within the snow the Snover had created. He knelt down, taking a second to find a potion within his bag. He clicked the button on Snover's poke'ball and let the young male out. He wasn't happy. He immediately crossed his arms in protest and turned his back to Raff. The trainer sighed, and began spraying the potion on the weakened Snover. "Yeah... yeah... life sucks." He gave some sympathy to the young poke'mon before he pressed the button and recalled his new poke'mon to his poke'ball. Rising to his feet and brushing his pant legs off he continued walking down the route.

::Pidgey::
Ah, what a day. Pidgey was soaring high in the sky, despite the chilling cold gnawing at her bones. She was having an all-around good day, that was until a spearow decided to pick on her. The spearow blocked her flight path, gawking at her in a loud voice.
<"This is our turf! Get lost!"> The pidgey looked hurt, but she complied. She turned around, finding another way to get to her destination. She'd been patronized by the group in the past, but they never deliberately became violent. This spearow seemed to be on thin ice, as he pecked her when she turned around. She gasped, caught off guard. It caused her to fall, smack into the ground near Raff.

That was terribly rude! Raff managed to witness the Spearow attack the Pidgey from behind. Of all the diabolic, low-brow things. "Have you no courage Spearow?!" Raff stood up for the Pidgey himself, rather than calling up his battle-worn poke'mon. His voice was valiant and his body knightly. He was really just missing a horse to complete the image. He reached down, aiming to pick up the fallen Pidgey and see how badly she had been hurt by the surprise attack. "That was awful of him. You alright?" He asked her, fully ready to use another one of his potions up if she needed it.[/blockquote]

Spearow glanced around to see a human running towards them. Tch. Stupid kids with their black and white morality. If they let one Pidgey in, the entire flock would want in. And that just wasn't gonna happen because that would push them to bursting point, and worse, into Starly territory. Their veterans could be vicious little bastards when they were crossed. Sighing to himself, he spoke to the human as hostilely as he could. >Look here, bub. This is our territory. Our nesting grounds. This is where our kids are. You're not allowed here cos this is our turf. Now amscray. And take that boid with you. Capiche?<Pidgey looked up at the human. Her knight in shining armour! She breathed a sigh of relief. Ah how good it felt to be protected by a kind sentient human. >Y-yes, I'm fine.> whispered Pidgey, in awe of her rescuer. ::spearow:: ::pidgey::
