Nera watched as the bigger spinda was thrown back after meeting her foot. She lowered her leg back down and eyed the pokemon. It then jumped back up and tried to use tackle on Gear. Nera gave it another blank look before calling out a command. "Confusion please."
Gear smiled as he rose up to dodge the tackle and used his confusion attack to catch the spinda. He then made it so the spinda was now floating upside down. Did you really think that would work? Gear then turned to the younger spinda. It's ok, we're used to this. If you want to be rid of this idiot you could come with us.

Spinda could do nothing but laugh at the metal-looking thing when it fired off a wave of Confusion at him. If it was supposed to make him confused, they had another thing going. See, Spinda's had an ability called Own Tempo, which pretty much just served to prevent such a thing.
The attack still hurt slightly, but he certainly kept his bearings. <Nice try, wise guy!> he snapped at Gear angrily, grinning slightly with pride in himself. His younger friend seemed quite embarrassed by his antics, but he paid the other Spinda little mind; his attention was focused on his foes. A simple singing prompt had, it seemed, turned into a battle. Well, that was fine with him. He'd have the last laugh when he won!
At Gear's words, the young one hesitated. <Well... I don't know,> he said doubtfully. The life of a trained Pokemon didn't really appeal to him very much. He didn't like the idea of being left alone and forgotten in a Pokeball if the trainer acquired some better friends. That wasn't his cup of tea.
But at the same time, this friend was a nightmare.

Gear took the tackle the spinda threw at him. He was tired from the fight with the meowth but he would always be ready for more. He would show everyone how strong he was. He thought about getting Nera to let out her other pokemon to watch, but Ikori or Medusa would probably fight instead of him.
You should, Nera and the other pokemon are pretty fun to be with. She tries to give us all a chance to fight. I'm trying to have more battles than Ikori but he's way ahead of me. Nera looked over the spinda. The confusion attack hadn't done much so she'd have to try something else. "Gear, start charging up." Gear promptly began to glow as he charged for a solarbeam.

"Who really wants to fight though, when you can sing?" the older Spinda belted in response, and then shook its red spotted head at the flat metal coin beast. “You're just tryin' to make us your trainer's peons! No siree!” The beast stamped it's feet, and let out a bellow, a roaring chant as it tried to imitate a rock star. Yes, it was uproar, and the noise began to get louder and louder already. His young companion, though- he didn't join in. There was a bit of danger here, and- well maybe joining this team wouldn't be so bad? Could travel the world and learn things, which would be nice. Needless to say- one had to stick by family and friends, and even if his friend provoked this fight, he had to stick by his side, right? No! He had to stick by his side, but not participate in his friend's nonsense! No, he had to talk sense into his friend, that's what he had to try to do! The Younger Spinda crouched and then charged forward in and started waving at his Spinda pal, shouting spinda over and over again. Little did he know he was beginning to use the same technique he had told his friend to stop using. #1 [Older Spinda] Using Uproar on Bronzor. #2 [Younger Spinda] Using Uproar.

Gear shook himself as the older spinda used uproar on him. He really wished he had something to to block out that terrible singing. He felt the attack finish charging up and flew over to where he had a clear shot of the older spinda. Take that! Gear then fired his solarbeam at the older spinda.
Nera watched this all and saw the younger spinda try to get the older to stop. She winced as it now began to use uproar. She would have to do something to settle things down. Just then one of her pokeballs on her belt began to shake. Nera glanced down and smiled at the pink ball. "Guess you could stop things." She reached down and tapped the button on the healball. A red light shot from the pokeball as it released its occupant.
In front of Nera appeared Medusa she eyed all the pokemon around her, narrowing her eyes when she spotted the older spinda. Her Intimidate kicked in and cut down the attack of the other pokemon. Enough! She shot a Leer at the spinda, one that like her name sake could make you freeze in fear as if turned to stone.

The younger of the two was still trying to get his friend to stop fighting, unknowingly creating an uproar with his frantic shouts. He just wanted the battle to end quickly, and it wasn't going fast enough for his liking. Much as he enjoyed being around his older friend when the other Spinda wasn't getting them into trouble, this happened much too often for his liking. <Stop it! Stop!>
His friend was too preoccupied with the fighting to even notice him. Now that it was two on one, he had to watch his back a lot more. But he apparently didn't watch it carefully enough.
Solarbeam slammed into him in an intense wave of energy, sending the Spinda flat on his face. He was spent, his energy as low as it could possibly go. With a resigned sigh, he gave up and fainted away.
His friend bit his lip and worried over him, but eventually nodded slightly, after seeing his chest rise and fall. He'd be alright. <I'm sorry he caused you all this trouble,> the younger one said.

Medusa watched the fainted spinda a moment more to see if he would get up. He remained on the ground but he would wake up later. She turned her head to the other spinda and slithered over to it. It is fine. He did not cause too much. Medusa turned her eyes on Gear. He seemed to be celebrating his victory. She narrowed her eyes at him and he stopped. She turned back to the spinda.
If you wish you could join us. Our trainer is kind and makes sure to spent time with us all. She likes me the best though! Medusa turned to glare at Gear. The steel pokemon flinched under the stare. Ok, Ok. She likes us all best. Nera stepped up wondering what the pokemon were saying. She knelt down next to them. As she did Medusa grabbed one of the pokeballs with her tail and held it out to the younger spinda.

The younger Spinda pondered this for a moment. It sounded like one epic adventure! Epic adventures were always fun, even if you got no salsa. Though, he could always ask the trainer for salsa...
<"Okay, I agree!"> Spinda agreed to the trainer's demands, he wasn't really sure if this was a good idea or not; but he got a cool adventure out of it! The Bronzor and Ekans seemed like they were enjoying themselves; so Spinda decided it was for the best, too.

Nera picked up the pokeball that Medusa held out. "I apologize now if this hurts you. Something strange has been happening to the pokeballs lately." Nera looked down at the ball before looking back at the spinda. "If it doesn't catch you will you be alright with being weakened to help catch you?" Nera looked back down at the pokeball and hoped it would work. She then turned back to the spinda and tossed the ball at it.

The Pokeball hit the ear of the Spinda, knocked back skywards; and then opened up, the beam swallowing the spot Panda Pokémon and then landing upon the ground after it's beam of light had gobbled the Pokémon up. The ball rolled gently on the ground; back and forth and back and forth- before finally giving three clicks, and the light of the Pokeball disappearing. Spinda had been caught! Nera smiled as she picked up the pokeball and attached it to her belt. She then grabbed Medusa's and Gear's pokeballs. "Okay guys, you take a break." Pressing the center buttons on the pokeballs, both pokemon returned to the metal spheres. Nera let out a sigh and checked on the egg once more. She pulled it out and held it in her hand as she continued on the path.

Large amber eyes shone through the foilage of the tree, unblinking as it stared at the Trainer. A tail twitched slightly, disturbing some of the autumn leaves that fell down to the ground, unable to cling on the branch any longer. He shifted his paws a bit, quite restless at the sight of a Trainer before him. He had watched the exchange between the Female human and the Spinda. Very strange. Why would that Spinda so willingly join up with a Trainer. Weren't Trainer's evil? The Zigzagoon didn't know whether to believe this rumor or not. Should he approach the Trainer and find out, or hide in the safety of the tree and avoid being seen. He could let the matter drop and live on in the wilderness, but his stubborn and curious nature bid him to stay. Before he could make up his mind however, a sudden caw from a Bird startled him from his deep thoughts. The Zigzagoon let out a shrill squeal of surprise, nearly jumping out of his fur. He managed to keep his fur on, but the startling sound had caused his paws to slip and he tumbled down the tree and onto the ground. <Oof!>he grunted in pain, getting back onto his paws stiffly. Luckily, he wasn't hurt, but quite sore. As the Zigzagoon looked up, he realized he had landed in front of the Trainer, who stood before him a few feet away. <Uh....>Zigzagoon didn't know what to say. Fell off a tree!Mood: Apprehensive Ignore or confront?

Nera looked down at the egg she had. She wondered how long till it would hatch. She hoped the Pokémon inside liked her. Just as she took a step forward she heard a strange sound. She looked around and didn't see anything that could have made the sound. Just then she heard a thump in front of her. On the ground now lay a zigzagoon.
Nera blinked at the Pokémon before looking up at the tree. This was the second one to fall out of a tree today. She looked back at the Pokémon and knelt down. "Are you ok? You didn't get hurt did you?" Nera looked back up at the tree. She didn't know if it was high enough to hurt it too badly.

>U-um...< The little raccoon shivered in fear. Even though his kind stole from humans all the time, they very rarely confronted them. From Zigzagoon's analysis... they were really big. That was all his mind could find. If he hadn't known better, he would have said she was a god, or a hallow being of some sort. That was how large and intimidating most humans had become to the little raccoon. The Trainer was asking him if he was all right? She didn't want to beat him into near unconsciousness and capture him in a tiny ball against his will? Well... that was a start, he supposed. >I'm fine,< he replied hastily, trying to back up a little. But as he did, pain flared up in his front right leg and he squeaked in pain as he collapsed to the ground. Ow! Oh how he wished he had an Oran Berry, the mithridate to all pain. ::zigzagoon::

Nera tried to look over the pokemon to see if it was hurt. It was hard to tell since it didn't look like it would let her near it. The zigzagoon then stepped back and fell to the ground in pain. Nera really wanted to reach forward to help the pokemon but knew it would not let her. She shifted the egg to one of her arms as she grabbed Ikori's pokeball with the other. "Hold on. I'll try to help." Nera pressed the center button to release the ralts. As the red light disappeared Ikori was face to face with the zigzagoon. Before Nera could say anything Ikori could feel the wild pokemon was feeling. He winced at the shadow of pain in his right arm. Do not worry. We are here to help.Ikori turned to Nera and gestured to his right arm. "Is it hurt really bad?" Ikori focused on the pain for a moment before nodding. Nera looked at the wild pokemon before reaching into her pack and pulling out one of the potions she had. "Hold still, this will stop the pain." Nera leaned forward and sprayed the purple bottles contents onto the hurt zigzagoon's leg. ::Ralts:: Tries to help, use potion on wild pokemon

::zigzagoon::
The Zigzagoon was honestly confused. He had never understood why pokemon were so willing to listen to a human but this ralts...it looked happy to be with its trainer? He twitched his nose in attempt to make sure that everything was fine when he heard some calming words. They wanted to help? Well sure, this was the point when they take that stupid metal ball and capture him. They knew he was weak, so why wouldn't they?
He noticed Nera reach into her back and immediately flinched. He tried to scoot away, but he knew it was no use and cowered in fear instead. If they were going to capture him, hopefully it wouldn't hurt and would be over quickly. His trembling stopped when all of a sudden, he felt something soothing on his leg. What? They were actually helping him? He looked up with almost grateful eyes. If they really wanted to capture him, they wouldn't heal him before battle, would they? It would be illogical.
Either this was a stupid trainer or an honestly compassionate one. How rare! <Uh...thank you.> The Zigzagoon looked around almost bashfully. He knew his next question would sound stupid, but he was honestly curious. He tried to motion the ralts aside before softly asking, <Have you ever tried to escape?> This zigzagoon was under the impression that all pokemon were forced into partnership with a human like slaves. That they all wanted desperately to be free. He was sincere in wondering if this ralts had ever tried. And perhaps, he could help the poor, oppressed creature if needed. Clearly, this zigzagoon had little understanding of the true wonders and compassions of pokemon trainers.

Nera let out a sigh of relief as the pokemon let her heal it. She put the potion away and moved the egg back into both of her hands. "I'm glad you are alright." Ikori looked over the zigzagoon. He couldn't feel pain coming from it anymore. He looked up when the pokemon motioned for him to step closer. As he did Ikori was shocked by the pokemons question. Leave Nera?! I could never abandon my partner like that. I have to protect her no matter what. She would do the same for me. Ikori eyed the zigzagoon. How could he ever think Ikori would try to leave Nera. He would never do such a thing.

Journey begins!
The Zigzagoon was bewildered beyond all comprehension. This poor Pokémon...could it have been brainwashed by this human? Well, if that was true of the trainer then he would have already been captured by her. If the humans were as cruel as he thought they were then he would probably already be dead or enslaved as he thought he would. However, none of this happened. Perhaps it was his own lack of knowledge of humans that created this tension? How strange! He continued his inquiry of the Ralts.
<"Your trainer...you say she would protect you from harm? What could she protect you from when you're forced to fight other Pokémon? Humans can't fight like we do,"> said the Zigzagoon. He was quite curious as this was one of his first encounters with a real human and their Pokémon. Perhaps this would be a good time to try to learn more about the humans. If there was anything that made him wonder, it was humans.
<"How do you know one day your trainer won't leave you? I've met Pokémon that were thrown away by their trainers for various reasons. They can barely survive on their own anymore,"> said the Zigzagoon.

Ikori withheld a sigh at the wild pokemon's questions. It had probably only known bad trainers. It must have been a rare thing for it it find a kind trainer. I fight so I can become stronger. I want to be able to protect the ones I care about. Like my trainer. Ikori looked over at Nera. She continued to watch the two pokemon. In her hands she still held the pokemon egg. Ikori looked back at the zigzagoon. Even if she's not like us she would still try to fight. She cares more about others than herself. That is how I know she will never leave me. She could never abandon her friends. A that he turned to his trainer and walked up to her. Nera blinked for a moment before sitting fully on the ground and moving the egg to one hand again. Ikori crawled onto her lap and turned around so he could face the zigzagoon. She loves us too much to do anything bad.

Zigzagoon was rather baffled by all of this, and it showed in the almost child-like curiosity that widened his amber-colored eyes. <C-Care about?> the little raccoon stammered. Perhaps she hadn't been brainwashing her Pokemon, after all. Perhaps it was a hallow heart which she possessed.
Looking over the egg, Zigzagoon couldn't help but wonder where she'd acquired it. If the trainer was really as nice as the Ralts was professing, she couldn't have stolen it from the nest, right? That would be a really horrible thing to do. He knew how parents got over their children on this route, and taking one away was nothing short of a terrible crime.
So he decided to inquire.
<Excuse me?> he said, almost hesitantly. <Might you share where you recieved that egg?>
Could the trainer even understand him? Uncertain, he glanced at the Pokemon as well, wondering if he had the answer. Nera had provided the mithridate for his pain when he'd fell from the tree, and he wanted to believe that she was a good person, but it was always safe to check.
