Merrick idly swung the machete in his hand as he walked through Route One. It was a cold day – the day he liked. Rain surged down around him as he perched himself down by the river, watching the drops crash into the water. Looking around carefully, he perched himself by the river bank, gazing into it blankly. His reflection was marred within the river surface, where the drops pounded down, splashing up at his face.
Coiled around his throat rested Soul, a Dratini he had recently traded for. He didn’t mind the quiet Pokémon there – in fact, the fact that he shielded his throat was a good thing. Merrick, however, was intending to train and capture Pokémon, and if anything came at him, it would likely be attacked unless he deemed it too weak to fight effectively. The Dratini tightened his grip around his throat slightly and hooked his tail around his stomach, nudging the ivory scarf that was around his neck, and blinked to get the water from his slate grey eyes.
Drenched, but not bothered by the cold, Merrick turned his attention to the sky. What had once been a drizzle was now a fierce thunderstorm. Explosions rumbled overhead, and a fork of lightning struck a tree nearby, alighting the branches and leaves into a smouldering inferno. Merrick didn’t care, though, as he watched the murderous flames lap hungrily at the soggy leaves. It would burn itself out in no time. However, he doubted the Pokémon in the branches would be alright. Rather than going over to see what he could do, the heartless male instead turned away and wiped the hair from his eyes, shaking his head briefly to get the water out of his eyes.
It was days like this that he enjoyed. Water Pokémon would be out, Fire types would be hiding, and it would be a chilling experience – one that sent many people scrambling for shelter, but not him. Personally, Merrick loved the sheer power of storms. Nobody truly understood them, like nobody truly understood him. In a sense, they were the same...

A lone hoothoot flew through the branches of threes over head. The thunderstorm was getting worse every second and he had to get home as soon as possible. Adrenaline was pumping through it's veins and it's speed was increased because of it. Not only that but it could also feel the strength of his wing beats. They were stronger than they were before he began racing home. His eyes scanned ahead of him as he zoomed through the tree tops. Dodge left, right, fall, climb. He had to maintain absolute focus as to avoid being bashed by one of the branches.
The great amount of concentration he was using was utterly amazing, but he was taken completely by surprise as a flash of lightning blinded him momentarily. In that very next instant, he slammed into a branch and felt an excruciating pain tear through his wing. A cry escaped his beak but was drowned out by the sound of thunder. Falling to the ground, the poor hoothott clutched at it's broken wing. Luckily, it had not broken the skin, but it was painful as hell and it needed to be set.
Finally hitting the ground, the Hoothoot last remembered seeing a trainer walking his direction. Through the pain, the bird type tried to relay some information that was critical to improving his condition. <Please! Help me! My wing is broken and unless you can set it, the only pokemon I know who can, is a teddiursa. Please, find her!>
::hoothoot:: Gender: Male Level: 6 Abilities: Insomnia and Keen Eye Attacks: Tackle, Growl, Foresight, Hypnosis Personality: A fun loving bird with a free spirit. Hard to keep under strict rules and loves to ignore people who boss her around. Would much rather listen to someone who has a respect for her and know that teamwork is key, rather than delegation.
Hoothoot is in bad shape! Help?

Thunder crashed overhead, and Lightning forked down, splitting the earth in a magnificent display of power. Pausing, Merrick lifted his head to let his eyes take in the marvellous sight laid before him. Soul – who would one day be a Dragonair – was getting quite inspired by the whole array. Silently, the Dragon Type blinked and nuzzled closer to Merrick for warmth; the Dragon’s scarf lazily drenched and hanging over his already soaked body.
Yes, he had heard the Hoothoot’s cry, but unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. As he passed the injured, frightened bird, he didn’t even throw it a glance. Why should he help a Pokémon that could not help itself? He wanted strength; Pokémon who were fierce, that would obey his every command either out of respect or fear. He passed the Hoothoot, simply ignoring it, not even bothering to throw it an Oran Berry as he drew close to a bush. It could help itself.
Bile rose in Merrick’s throat as he remembered how many times he’d asked for help as a child, only to be denied or put down. He refused to put himself in that position again. Truth be told, he needed to find strong Pokémon to battle; that Hoothoot was barely any stronger than Faith and Epsilon. Swerving around, he headed toward the river once more and, using the strength of his Croagunk genes, leapt up into it.
Heartlessly. he batted an old, abandoned nest out of the way, sending it crashing down to the earth in a heap of sticks and moss, and sat there, leaning against the base with one leg propped up. The other hung limply down, and he rested one hand on his stomach, and rested the other one on his knee...
Merrick ignored the Hoothoot and carried on through the path. Is sitting in a tree.

[bg=][atrb=border,0,true][rs=2] Wild Pokemon The Hoothoot was left for dead in the pouring rain. Oh dear, was that a Glameow coming at him? Near the tree where the trainer sat two eyes glared at him through the bushes. Mean leering eyes that looked downright evil. What could be hiding in the bush? A Spearow maybe? The eyes looked like it. Or maybe a Venipede, those bugs seemed mean. No, it was much worst. The figure came out of the bushes and growled. It was a....Bidoof? Yes, a Bidoof. It stood right in front of the Trainer and his Dratini and growled. <Hey you! Yeah I'm talking to you boy!> He said, a bit of a roughneck accent in his voice. <What you doing under MY tree? And why do you got a Snivy on your shoulder?!> How he got a Dratini and a Snivy mixed u is beyond you. They looked nothing alike, best to keep quiet about that though, it looks like he has a temper.
The Bidoof took another step closer. <I said what chu doing under my tree boy?> He asked again. the same glaring look on his face. And here people thought Bidoof were nice peaceful Pokémon. Think again. This one was just the exact opposite. Mean, rude and apparently not too good on his grammar. <I tolds you, get out of here!> Though you were under a tree and not exactly in a building the Bidoof yelled at you to get out.

Perched atop of the branch, Merrick gazed thoughtfully at the river, his icy eyes blazing with a fury that could not be explained. For some reason, he was enraged. However, he wasn’t screaming and punching at things like any other person would be; pure adrenaline tamed his veins, and Dratini shifted, sensing the aura around his Trainer become intense. The fact that he was silent during this time was frightening within itself; it could not have been worse. When the Bidoof emerged from the undergrowth, Merrick’s head turned, dangerously, until his crystal-hued eyes landed on the beaver. A snarl was etched onto his face, vicious and murderous, but at the same time calm and collected. Most other people would have stayed quiet, and he did – yes, he did, but suddenly he jumped out of the tree, landing beside the Bidoof with Soul curled around his throat. Whirling around, Merrick swung his foot viciously around in an attempt to roundhouse kick the Bidoof straight in the ribcage. Whatever the outcome, he reached for a Pokéball and pressed the button, releasing a Tepig in a fiery burst of light. Immediately she sensed the tension in the clearing, and she scraped the floor with her foot, snorting. “Piss off,” Merrick’s lip curled and he glared at the Bidoof, pointing a long finger at the Pokémon that he had deemed a rodent. Tepig wasn’t enjoying the rain that dripped down her flank, but she forced herself to ignore it. Whipping her tail back and forth, the Tepig charged forward toward the Bidoof, attempting to tackle it as hard as she could. "Take it down, Epsilon. Show no mercy."Merrick attempted to kick the Bidoof in the Ribcage. Sent out Tepig.Epsilon | 5 | FemaleUsed Tail Whip and Tackle

[bg=black][atrb=border,0,true][rs=2] Wild Pokemon The Bidoof tried bitting the human's foot as it came close to his rib cage. Thankfully before the foot came in contact the Bidoof jumped away. <Now listen here! You no rights to kick me, I show you none mercy!> He said. The Bidoof was now angry, his short temper was shot and he had a stupid mean look on his face. Of course, it was a Bidoof. How much damage could it cause? Well you were about to find out because when the Tepig was sent in the Bidoof growled loudly in anger.
<I show you who the best is 'round here!> The Bidoof exclaimed. The Bidoof then rubbed the ground underneath him with his feet. Kicking up the mud and then charging at the Tepig. <ARRRRRGGGGGH!> He cried out, apparently his battle cry. The Bidoof hated it when people came under his tree, it was so rude.

Clearly this Bidoof needed an attitude change. Narrowing his eyes, the Trainer stomped his foot back on the ground after the Bidoof’s attempt to bite him. Sure, maybe he had deserved the attempted bite, but his thick shoes had not been damaged by it’s teeth. In fact, now he knew something about the Bidoof’s physical strength, and realised that it was just around the same level as his Tepig. It attempted to tackle his Tepig, and he knew that the Fire Type was waiting on his order. “Take the hit,” he instructed coldly to the Fire Type, who was already unhappy that she had to fight in such soaking conditions. A fork of lightning split the skies in two for a heartbeat, striking a tree somewhere at the other end of Route One. Such a magnificent display of power! “Epsilon, shut that fucking thing up.” Did he hate Bidoof? No, but he couldn’t stand it when Pokémon were so noisy – especially Pokémon like this, when it had the intellectual capacity of a banana. Hell, Merrick bet even a Banana was smarter than this thing. Tepig thrust her shoulder into the hit, too focused in thought to notice the Bidoof growling at her. She’d been with Merrick for so long now, but it only appeared that his emotions were becoming more and more volatile. She didn’t mind the language he used at all, but he was getting a bit harsher, even though she didn’t say anything. Hell, if she disobeyed him, he’d probably try to break her neck. It wasn’t a problem with fear – well, she did fear him somewhat – it was trust and how much they loved each other. Since Merrick had found her on that stormy night, she’d trusted him with her life, and she hadn’t given up on him. They trusted each other, but it seemed like Merrick treated Pokémon better than humans. It made her think about what he’d been through before she’d met him. “Yes, Merrick,” she replied, holding steady against the Bidoof. Suddenly she lunged forward with her mouth, attempting to grab it by the scruff and ram it into the tree that it loved so dearly. Dratini – Soul – watched curiously from atop Merrick’s shoulders, and blinked his slate grey irises. This was the first time he’d ever seen Merrick battle, so it was interesting how he fought. He appeared to have an aggressive attitude toward others. How would that serve him in the future? “You are not the best around here,” Merrick hissed at the Beaver Pokémon, clenching his fist while he contemplated whether to shy a rock at the wood-hued Pokémon. “You are weak and pathetic. Do not bother me again, svoloch.”Merrick's shoe was bitten by the Bidoof, but was not damaged. He is now ordering Tepig to attack.Epsilon | 5 | FemaleUsed Tackle. { Is attempting to grab the Bidoof to Tackle him into his tree } Hit by Tackle, was too deeply in thought to hear the Growl. { Counts as a Dodge on Growl }

It was just another day for warren as he continued to scour route one for Pokémon. He hadn’t left this part mainly because he wanted to power up his team before going up against the first gym leader and he wanted to build a team as well. That was his main goal in life, as cliché as it was; he just wanted to be a trainer. To battle with his Pokémon and do his best. He wasn’t looking to be the best there ever was because then that would be a cliché gone wrong. He just wanted to do his best and his best would entail getting the league and trying to win. As he walked in this terrible weather, he luckily came prepared this time with a raincoat and an umbrella to boot.
He walked and heard some sort of commotion, assuming it was a Pokémon battle, he decided to check it out. I mean, if he could bump into someone else and observe them, maybe he’ll get a battle too if he were lucky. He made his way to see a bidoof battling against a tepig and merrick, his brother. Warren’s eye widened as he saw merrick attempt to kick the wild pokemon. Without thought, he threw his pokeball and out came phanpy. ”quick, tackle merrick!” his facial were fitting with his sudden change in emotion. Anger. He was angry at what he just saw and he didn’t give a damn who it was, he was going to protect the pokemon. ”hey merrick!” bellowing at his older brother.

<Oof! Get that slob offa me, you filth!> The Bidoof raged as he was pushed back by the tackle, feeling the Tepig's weak grip on his body. Luckily she hardly had a mouth to boast about, and his fur was awfully poofy and hard to grab, so he easily slipped around her after enduring her hit. With an annoyed face he stomped his foot on the ground, leaving the fire type to either get close to colliding into the tree, breaking then running at him, or just managing to stop.
He felt incredibly aggressive though, and this rage was just filling in every crack of his body. His face was flushed with this terrible storm inside of him, pulling him in all directions until he completely lost himself in the tantrum. <This land is not your land, idiot!> He cried, ears twitching and nostrils flaring.
This time he ran after the Tepig, trying to do exactly what she wanted to do to him. It was a case of monkey see monkey do, but he liked the idea of squishing her between his body and the tree. It would be like a rock and a hard place, and it couldn't be pleasant. For her.

Preoccupied with the battle as it progressed, Merrick was thinking about various things like strength and training. However, suddenly the bushes nearby rustled and he caught the scent of a Human – Warren, it seemed to be. Slowly he turned his head, his nose wrinkled, and the sound of the man’s furious voice rung in his ears. Great, now he had a younger sibling to look after. Tepig’s attack hit, but she hadn’t managed to pin it to the tree like she had planned. Instead, the angry Bidoof charged back at her in the same attempt to crush her between it and the tree; and she stood her ground as it came forward. Suddenly, though, she leaped as it tried to grab her, and managed to evade the blow. Her tail swung down to slap it in the face as it passed beneath her, and she smirked darkly to herself. That was one way to use a Tail Whip. Behind her, Merrick had turned his head away from looking at his – human – younger brother, and he put his attention back onto the battle. However, suddenly Warren released his Phanpy and called out for it to Tackle him. Merrick’s eyes suddenly blazed – nobody hit him. Not since his father, and it sure wouldn’t be a human who was younger than him. Dratini – who was still curled around his shoulders – tensed at the thought of being struck, and angrily frowned. No Pokémon would hurt his master! Not while he was around! Before he could move, though, the air around the Croagunk Pokémorph shifted and darkened, growing colder, and from a Pokéball that rested on his chain belt, a flash of angry crimson. Without warning, it turned black, and a Croagunk appeared; his body enveloped in a dark, vicious aura. Hell, what was this thing!? It was a Shadow Pokémon. Made by Team Death, and genetically altered to have a naturally boosted Attack stat. Before the Phanpy even came close to his friend, the Croagunk was upon it, raising his attack stiffly with a Swords Dance before screeching a dark, painful tune. It was dark and inclined to make the Pokémon flinch, or at least to ward it off, but with the Croagunk’s attack stat already boosted three times, there would be no way for the Elephant Pokémon to stay standing after it. "You can not defeat me, Warren." Merrick said with a matter-of-fact tone in his voice. "Do not attempt it again." He was not referring to Pokémon-wise, either. Little did anyone know, he was a Croagunk Pokémorph – born with additional strength, just like Kai – and was a black belt in Karate. If Warren wanted to beat him, he’d find it incredibly difficult – to even impossible. He’d learned to defend himself after he left home; being unwilling to be the victim of any more physical violence, he had trained hard until he had finally been given his rank. Kai – the Croagunk – flipped back to crouch by Merrick’s leg, his dull golden eyes blazing with rage. What was wrong with him? “Don’t attack my Trainer,” it hissed, his cheeks expanding. The aura around him flared aggressively, indicating that the Pokémon was not in the mood for games. If the Phanpy was persistent in attacking him, then the Croagunk would simply start to play even dirtier and steal the Trainer’s Pokéballs from his belt. They rarely played fair to begin with – it was nature, to ensure survival, and Merrick fit that perfectly. Merrick ignored Warren. Faith wasn’t too sure what exactly was wrong with the Bidoof. He kept going on and on about something; it was starting to become highly irritating to her. Wrinkling her nose in distaste at the awful Beaver Pokémon, she was about to spin around when something crashed against her shoulder. Once more she attempted to dig her feet down into the ground, but this time she found that the earth was too soft, and almost fell over and onto her back. Turning his eyes, Merrick’s nose wrinkled slightly, and he flicked his hand across his face, wiping the water from his brow. A sharp tooth traced the part where his lips met from within his mouth, and he sucked against it slightly, trying to find a part that he could bite down on gently. Sometimes his jaws felt the need to bite on something, and this was just one of those times. Turning toward the battle, the Shadow Croagunk glanced up at his trainer and hissed a curt ‘keh’. A set of pearly white teeth sat in the Croagunk’s maw, glowing brightly. They were quite clean for a Poison Type Pokémon, but whatever. “You think we’ll get this battle over any time soon? I want to get going.” Kai muttered, his dull golden irises landing on his Trainer, bored. “Maybe I should just punch that Bidoof in the face and be done with it.” Well he never played fair, so it didn’t really matter, but loyalty to Merrick meant that if the Trainer told him not to do anything, then he wouldn’t. But he was getting a bit annoyed now; the Bidoof wasn’t exactly that strong, but if Tepig was taking this long to take it out, then it was obvious she needed training, too. Merrick simply diverted his gaze from the battle to the Croagunk and blinked coldly, but answered him. Being both Croagunk by genes, Merrick felt akin to this Pokémon, and had a type of respect to it. Being rude to it wasn’t exactly what he wanted to do anyway... “Allow Epsilon to finish this battle by herself. She will not grow stronger if you fight her battles for her.” He replied simply, reaching down to the Croagunk with a pale skinned hand. Hopping up onto his shoulder, the Croagunk rested beside Dratini and continued to watch the battle unfold. Well, whatever happened between Merrick and Warren was none of his concern, but if the battle didn’t end soon, he was going to do something about it probably. Epsilon – the Tepig – had been hit by the Tackle, and she wagged her tail at the Bidoof before pulling her feet free and running at it. Smoke swelled out from her nose, as if she was eating a berry, and she snorted, sending a small spray of it out to try and irritate the Bidoof’s eyes. It wasn’t a Smokescreen or a Sand Attack, but it would cause the Pokémon to shut its eyes at the least... Note to Mods: Just mod it anyway. Idk where Rubix is but I can't keep waiting for him. This battle had been getting extremely crowded, if the male pokemon had no glimpse of his victory it was completely gone now, with three opponents just talking about how they wanted to fight or just giving this trainer company, one of the many things that were evident was how lonely this trainer had been all along. + You’re unbelievable. Why so many pokemon? You still gonna lose.+ he said as he shook his head before leaping up into the air a little bit really wanting to pump himself up for the rest of the battle.
The water pokemon was hit by both the Tail Whip lowering the Bidoof’s defense once again, and then the Tackle hit reducing the wild pokemon’s health once again. This time, the Bidoof rushed toward the Tepig using tackle to try and even the playing field.

Slowly, Merrick was beginning to understand where the Croagunk was coming from; this battle was becoming more and more boring every second. Inwardly, he hissed at Epsilon’s weakness, and began to devise ways in which he could increase her strength. Well, he couldn’t stand being around weak Pokémon, but when it came to Pokémon that had been with him for so long that he’d grown a certain attachment to them, it was harder to let go. Epsilon had been with him for years – since Blackthorn, when he’d left after murdering his parents, so he wasn’t about to give up on her that easily. But if she tried his patience, well, it was clear what would happen... Unimpressed by the Bidoof’s determination to succeed against him, he felt the desire to crush this Pokémon’s hopes, and reached for all of his Pokéballs. Throwing them out, out emerged a Poliwag and a Yamask, who both helped to complete the circle of Pokémon that surrounded the Bidoof. Sourly, his nose wrinkled in the beginnings of a snarl, and he sneered venomously at the Bidoof. “Are you so sure you can win against all of my team?” Snarky tone – that meant that he was getting incredibly angry, and was getting very bored at the same time. From atop his shoulder, Kai began to giggle hysterically, shoving his face into Merrick’s shoulder to stop himself from getting too loud. Coldly, Merrick stared at the Bidoof, pure hatred reflecting in those irises, and he curled his lip up in the beginning of a sneer. “Tell you what. If you manage to beat Epsilon, you can fight the Croagunk on my shoulder and see if you still think you can defeat me.”Slowly the Croagunk started to become excited and snickered mischievously, sneering at the Bidoof. He knew that Merrick was just tormenting the poor Pokémon, and that he did not expect Epsilon to lose so easily. But it was raining, in all fairness, so she wasn’t exactly on favourable terms. Rain would power down any fire type moves, if she had any – she’d learn Ember soon, and then she’d find taking on Bug and Grass types a lot easier. Epsilon ignored her trainer’s teasing, not really phased at all by what he was saying. He was just being mean to it because it had pissed him off. Tackled once more, Epsilon swung around, attempting to lower the Bidoof’s defences some more with another Tail Whip. Regardless of if it had hit, she attempted to charge at it once more in another Tackle. Surely it couldn’t hold off much more! Note to Mods: Just mod it anyway. >I hate you! HATE!!!!!!< The dumb Bidoof began to yell as he was hit by the leer but moved out of the way of the incoming tackle. >HATE!!!!< He said again. Truthfully, Merrick didn’t give a damn when the Bidoof exclaimed that he hated him. The Bidoof was weak, and shouldn’t take too many more attacks, to be honest. They’d used five Leers, and Tepig’s Attack stat was still unchanged. Honestly, he saw no way that the Pig Pokémon could lose. From atop his shoulders though, Croagunk’s jaw clenched, and he snorted, feeling quite agitated by all of the loud, overconfident talking that the Bidoof had been doing. His aura flared and he hissed, his muscles tightening in all indication that he was going to tear this Bidoof limb from limb, if he was given the chance. A dark chuckle emerged from Merrick’s throat and he looked back at the duel Type, locking his own eyes with the Pokémon’s. For a moment, an unseen discussion took place there between the two. Kai’s cheeked flared and he glanced toward the Bidoof - it had dodged the Tackle, and was now rushing at Epsilon aggressively. He’d had enough. Quite frankly, Merrick had also had enough, and he was getting quite pissed off with all the delays that were going on. He wanted Tepig to get this battle over with now. Sneering, he suddenly swung his arm out, recalling all of the Pokémon on the battlefield. He was going to end this battle now, like it or not. “Kai, finish it.” Smirking, Croagunk used Merrick’s shoulder as a spring, using his powerful legs to launch himself into the air. The purple aura flared around him, and his eyes glowed; he was focusing his attack and enhancing whatever move was to come next. With a loud, intimidating screech, the Shadow Pokémon took a deep breath in and sent a powerful array of poisonous needles spitting out toward the Bidoof. If that didn’t hit, Tepig was rushing forward in another Tackle attack after having dodged the Bidoof’s attack. A vicious snarl appeared on the Trainer’s face as the two attacks surged toward the beaver. Whatever happened afterwards, when the Bidoof fainted, was none of his concern. Hell, if he still had that Vullaby, he’d have let the Vulture Pokémon eat it or something. He didn’t give a shit. Any other Trainer like him would probably have given some sort of a taunt, but instead, Merrick just stayed quiet, letting his Croagunk do all the talking. Hell, when this was over, he was going to either ditch Warren, let the younger sibling do whatever or he’d just wander off on his own and leave the guy alone. He wasn’t gonna stick around for much longer. Note to Mods: Just mod it anyway. Idk where Rubix is but I can't keep waiting for him. I want to get on with training.Epsilon | 5 | FemaleUsed Tackle! { Dodged Tackle! } Kai | 10 | Male{ Shadow Pokémon is stronger than normal } { +4 Attack [from Swords Dance] } Used Swords Dance and Poison Sting on Bidoof! WELL this battle wasn't going anywhere awfully fast. The Bidoof was ready to fight these guys even in his sleep, or when he was unconscious, but he was a bit too stupid to realize that wasn't possible. Not unless aliens possessed his body and forced him to fight to the death, and that wasn't going to happen. Right? Right. So the Tackle took him down completely, and the Poison Sting guaranteed that he wouldn't be getting up for a while.
Sadly the Tepig could've gained an entire level for it, but the Croagunk ruined it. Make sure to kick that frog's ass later.
In other news there was this worm like thing, right bros? It was like crawl crawl crawl and the haters were like nooo way bros. This Caterpie had a rock in its hands, the little ones that were like suction cups, and it waved the rock around at a Wurmple was passing by. <Don't make me shank you!> He threatened, grinning as the Wurmple ran away in fear. Then he came upon a scene with a dead Bidoof and some punk human. <Yo! Where my bitches at?> He asked. He was serious, yo.

The battle was over; Croagunk’s pure strength combined with the Tepig’s had meant that the Bidoof fell. Well, that was that over and done with. Merrick silently recalled Epsilon; he wasn’t too happy that she had won, and sent out a recently obtained Sandile called Ray. Well, Ray, and Nibbles since she was bitchy about the name. Her eyes fell on the fainted Pokémon and she hobbled over and began to tear at it hungrily. Well, she needed to eat, right? A Caterpie crawled over, scaring off a Wurmple by threatening to ‘shank’ it. Well this was interesting... The man turned toward it, listening to his bizarre question, and blinked absently, shrugging his bony shoulders. He was emaciated, but he tried to put on a bit of weight. For some reason it didn’t seem to work that much, but he still had meat on him. Despite it’s weak appearance, the Caterpie intrigued Merrick; it was threatening and seemed to enjoy terrorising others. That in itself was enough to grab his interest – even if it was only a little bit. “Well,” Sandile had finished eating the Bidoof, and wrinkled her maw up in distaste. “That tasted like shit... Oh?” Her eyes fell on the Caterpie, and suddenly the Crocodile Pokémon licked her lips. Oh, that sure looked tasty! “No, Ray,” Merrick growled, staring at the Caterpie for a moment. “Battle to capture, nothing more – you will not eat it. If you do, you answer to me.” Sandile seemed crestfallen at the commands, but straightened up as Merrick pulled out his Pokédex and watched as it explained about the Worm Pokémon. " It releases a stench from it’s red antennae to repel enemies. It grows by moulting repeatedly." “Leer and Fire Fang,” Merrick commanded. “Show no mercy.”Note to Mods: Just mod it anyway. >Oh hell nah brah! What do ya think ya doing? I'mma cut you!< The Caterpie said as he saw the Fire Fang come right at him. He dodged the attack smoothly but was hit with the leer instead. >Nah brah! Don't think it's that easy!<He then charged right at the opponent and shot some web at the Sandile in an attempt to restrict her from attacking. >Lemme take you to prison. Don't drop the soap!< He said out loud. >Now where my bitches? I'm not gonna ask again! Where my bitches?< What an odd little Caterpie this was... ::Caterpie:: (-1 defense) (-1 attack) Summary: Hit by Leer. Dodged Fire Fang. Used String Shot on Sandile Level 6, Male Shield Dust Tackle|String Shot Personality: Carries around a sharp rock and likes to scare other bugs with it. Pretty mean, has a soft spot for pretty butterfly Pokemon, and enjoys sports and flaunting how much better he is at them.

Sandile’s maw wrinkled in distaste as the string curled around her tail. The dark scales there rippled sleekly as she curled around herself, and attempted to snap the string in her jaws. However, being a Crocodile, she couldn’t really bend that far back, and instead went into a Death Roll. Her legs flailed and she rolled over herself until the string came loose, and then clung to a branch and let her slide her tail out. She’d been freed, sure, but her scales on her tail were sticky, and she didn’t really want to move that fast; the feeling was so uncomfortable! Hissing, she stomped toward the Caterpie, flinging sand at it in an attempt to blind it. As the first attack flew at the Bug Type, Ray glanced over to Merrick, who simply glared at her. Well, that answered her question; attack it again. Lunging at the Caterpie again in another Fire Fang, she attempted to bite down onto the Bug Type’s body. This was her first battle under Merrick’s control, so she needed to impress him to stay on his team. “You aren’t going to beat me,” she sneered, attempting to make herself look good in front of her Trainer. Hell, she didn’t want to know what he did to the Pokémon he didn’t want anymore! Note to Mods: Just mod it anyway. Idk where Rubix is but I can't keep waiting for him.
