A few weeks had passed since that last mining adventure, and Susumu's arm was much better. He felt as if he could go more all out when digging, and when it came to picking a Pokemon for this mining job, he was tempted to pick another one. Well, he could keep using Leech. It wouldn't be an issue at all, especially since the Pansage had a bit of mining experience under his belt to make him an easy choice. Yes, he had many other Pokemon on his main team that would've loved to have this kind of experience with him, but they were either too tired or too lazy. Losers. The Pansage was more than thrilled to be taken out of the PC, jumping right onto his trainer's Spinda hat that helped to keep his ears and head warm as he wandered outside. Shasta Ruins were coming into view, and that familiar Hiker dude was there and provided him with the tools he needed. Awesome.
"You're on shovel duty, Leech." He informed the monkey, chuckling as he held the tools in one hand and the lantern in another as they wandered deeper into the tunnels. That was when he bumped into Nate and his more than familiar Tympole again, grinning at the familiar sight he started to wave with his lantern dangling left and right, making the light go all over the place. "Haha, hey Nate. I guess you come here often." He greeted, realizing how Nate didn't have a mining partner. Again. This worked out, since he didn't either.
The Pansage climbed right down his trainer's back, sending shivers down his spine as he landed right under his trainer's hand, trying to slip the shovel right out from his grip as Susumu tried to hold a conversation. "How goes it?" He asked casually, before feeling an odd tug at his three digging tools. "Bah, hey. Wait. Patience. Patience." He laughed, handing the Pansage the giant shovel for him to work with, leaving him with the pick ax and hammer to get into the walls.
Leech remembered what they were supposed to do this time, but he wanted to mess around with the walls first to see what he was up against. He scratched at it mindlessly, trying to test it out for himself to see how much work they had cut out for them. <Beh. It feels hard.> He commented, holding the shovel awkwardly in his hands because it was much too big for him. His attention was only on the two humans, ignoring the Tympole purposely.

Nate scrapped the idea of waiting for his partner as he ventured into the cavern. No sooner did he go inside he was caught up by someone familiar. Susumu, and his Pansage. No way, twice as partners. What was the chances of that happening. Nate got over it as he heard Susumu joke that Nate must be a regular. Then he heard Susumu try to crack a conversation, he didn't seem to be the best at it. He gave it a good go but, Nate responded quickly as he said, "Fine thanks Susumu, How are you and Pansage?"Nate remembered from the last time they had been in the ruins together that Susumu's Pansage and Nate's Tympole had quickly became rivals. Susumu and Pansage had started digging into the walls, and from what it seemed the spot they had chosen wasn't very soft. Nate looked at Tympole as he grabbed the little water type's pokeball and returned it back inside. Nate with his free hand then grabbed a second pokeball of his bag. Captured inside the ball was Nate's newest pokemon. Abra, who he had conveniently named Houdini because he knew Abra's were Psychic and Houdini was truthfully his favorite magician. Nate then released Abra out of the pokeball as the little psychic type quickly scurried to hide behind Nate. The poor little thing was the shy type. Nate was fine with that though. He looked at his pokemon as he started to hit his pickaxe into the wall. Then Nate heard something that didn't sound like Susumu talking, "Nate. What would you like me to do."Nate quickly turned his head over to Susumu as he noticed that it couldn't have been him that had said that. He looked down at his Abra and picked up who was speaking. The little psychic type had the ability to speak to humans, what an awesome trait that was. Nate smiled at Abra as he said, "Abra, I never knew you could talk to humans."Nate didn't exactly know what to command Abra to do. Nate closed his eyes quickly for ten seconds and thought of the move-set Abra's would have. The only thing he could think of was the move Teleport. That wasn't very effective inside the cavern. He opened his eyes to see Abra holding something in her hands. It was the TM Psychic. Abra the sneaky little one must have teleport-ed somehow in the short amount of time into Nate's large backpack and got the TM that Nate had purchased of the large bearded man. Abra seemed to be concentrating hard on the mechanical device. Susumu probabally thought Nate had gone mad talking to his Abra. Nate watched as the TM lost it's purple color as Abra started to use a newly learnt move. Psychic. Wow, the Abra was surprisingly smart, yet shy. Nate grinned as he hit his pickaxe into the tough wall, he could feel it trying to hold off the human as much as it could. It wasn't as if Nate was smiling or anything, but Susumu took it as an attempt at being friendly from the other guy. He cracked a grin and pretended to look annoyed at what he said. "Who told you that name? Didn't I tell you to call me Shamu?" Yeah, seriously. He wondered if maybe he had a name tag on his shirt or bag that might've given away that clue, but he shook his head. "It sounds so formal when you say it, this isn't a business deal." He chuckled, trying to get rid of the awkwardness that Nate seemed to naturally create when talking. Leech looked up at the interaction curiously, wondering what the joke was to make his trainer look so happy like that. It wasn't as if anything was said that seemed to suggest humor...how odd.
Susumu and Leech were a bit surprised to see him return the Tympole without any warning whatsoever, but it wasn't a problem for the Pansage. If he was the only Pokemon around, it was fine by him! He let out a huff as he wandered around the tunnels, staying in eyesight of the two trainers as he made practice scratches at the wall to FEEEEEEL it out, looking for any particular sensitive area in the walls that might be easier to dig in. The Pansage carelessly dropped the shovel in the process, much more comfortable using what his mama gave him. Claws, baby. <Work work work...> The Pansage commented softly to himself, debating how this was actually supposed to be important and how it affected him. Apparently the shards had some value, and in a way the Pansage was earning his keep by doing this. But how did it really matter?
It was all a bit too much to think about for a Pokemon that had been wild for a majority of his life, not understanding the human systems and how they worked. The Pansage heard a voice from behind him and glanced over at the Abra and his trainer, confused at how the psychic type was actually talking to them. Weren't they supposed to be telepathic...or something? He frowned, looking at them as the trainer took in the wonderful new ability of his Pokemon. <Eh? He understands?> He questioned, taking a bit of interest in the Abra if it was able to work as a translator between Pokemon and humans. As much as he hated other Pokemon, it was too interesting of a phenomena to ignore.
Susumu looked at Nate and the Abra oddly, also hearing an actual voice but not quite understanding what was going on. "Talking to yourself, Nate?" He teased, using the hammer this time on the wall to break it up a little more. Wham! Thwack! Cracks started to form on the exterior of the wall, but he had to be careful or else it would collapse completely, losing the delicate shards in the balance.

Susumu quickly answered to Nate after he said Houdini. He knew this was going to happen. Susumu didn't know Abra could talk to humans, it was it's special ability hat Nate only just found out about. Nate could see that Susumu was trying to point out that Nate was talking to himself, but he wasn't. Nate looked over at Susumu and said, "Haha, funny funny. My Abra has a special ability that allows it to talk to humans. Why don't you give it a try. Just say something to her."Abra continued to use psychic on the wall they were working on for shards as the work looked easy for Abra. Although that was the case, the little psychic type kept close to Nate's leg as her shy side made her not want to be known to others. Nate could see his Abra was shy as he watched what the little pokemon did as he picked up his pickaxe and started to dangerously hack it into the wall to try and uncover as many shards possible. Susumu grinned a little at Nate's reaction to his joking around, but it wasn't anything particularly satisfying. That was fine though, anything to get rid of the feeling of getting overworked or particularly bored when mining down here. Luckily nothing could flood this place up like last time, though he had to wonder what Nate's Abra was capable of. Apparently talking to humans? He stopped digging to give it more of a focused look, which she seemed frightened of as she shied behind her trainer's legs.
He had little experience with psychic types, not really having many of them even in his PC. The one psychic Pokemon he did manage to catch, on a fun note where Leech was from, he traded the Smoochum right away in terror of her abilities and mischievous personality. He had no idea before that that psychic types could turn themselves into Lindsey Lohan when they wanted to seduce someone! Ugh, he shuddered thinking about the dirty fire crotch that tried to have her way with him. Nope nope nope.
"I don't think she wants to talk, Nate." He commented with a shake of his head, having a feeling that Nate was right, but deciding to leave Nate feeling stupid and frustrated as he went back to digging. It was getting a bit tricky over here though, and he needed a hand. "Leech, stop clawing at the wall to help out for a minute." He decided, motioning over at the Pansage to get right over here. Leech perked up and beamed, excited to see what was going to be asked of him this time.
"Back up a little, just in case this backfires." He warned Nate and his Abra, looking serious before looking Leech's way. "Put your Seed Bomb in the wall. I need a little power here." He advised, taking a few steps back as the Pansage grinned mischievously. So the big man wanted a little fire power, did he?
<I like it when the walls go BOOM!> He chattered, throwing two giant seeds into the holes Susumu dug into with his shovel, and covering his ears and looking the other way; POW! POW! The earth spilled right out of the wall, looking soft and dry as several broken shards spilled out, but the earth looked much much softer on the inside now. The ground was a bit of a mess, but honestly, both trainer and Pokemon expected to get their hands dirty doing this kind of work.
The Pansage was quick to hurry over to the dirt and shove it away from the wall, giving his trainer a little more room to work in when he wanted to get closer to the wall. Gosh, it almost looked as if they could dig a new tunnel in here entirely! <I wonder if we could dig a room out of this...> Leech commented, looking at the hole in awe and wonder.

Susumu seemed to think everything was a joke while they were in the ruins, it may be for him but for Nate it was more focusing and hard work. Nate wanted to achieve his goals, and setting his mind deeper onto what he needed to do helped him alot. Nate and Houdini quickly got out of the way as Pansage planted a seed bomb into the wall, it then exploded. Out flew many broken shards and hard pieces of the wall. That wasn't the safest move to use in the ruins, but it was most definently effective. Nate looked at Abra as he watched as his psychic type pokemon stopped using Psychic on the walls. It then used it's psychic powers to pick up the shovel on the other side of Nate's leg. It then used it's psychic powers to dig the shovel into the hard wall. It was a spectacular sight to watch how interesting and smart pokemon like Abra were. Nate looked over at Susumu and Pansage as the joked along with the shenanigans they were going on with. Nate ignored his surroundings other then Abra as he kept hacking into the tough wall. Nate had most definently anticipated the walls to be a bit softer, unluckily it was like bricks were behind the surface face of the wall. Eh, Nate wasn't saying anything back. How boring. He knew he wasn't being too annoying with the small amounts of things he was saying, so it was probably Nate being a quiet listener type, or he couldn't think of anything smart to say back. Susumu didn't really get a hold of the guy very well, not sure what kind of character he was dealing with. "Still greeted with silence. I see how it is." He whistled as he stopped digging for a few to take in what was going on over here; Leech was scooping up the dirt to give him a little digging room, but it wasn't the most effective method. The Abra was using her Psychic attack in order to utilize human tools, which was rather clever. He wondered if he could make Leech try something similar, assuming he understood how a shovel worked.
"Hey Leech, look at Abra." He crouched down on one knee next to the Pansage, pointing out the diligent and quiet Abra as Leech was forced with an annoyed grumble to watch another Pokemon work. What was the point in observing her? He supposed that he should listen to his trainer, but she simply bored and annoyed him with her natural talents. So annoying, gosh! "Think you can use the shovel like that with your Vine Whip?" He suggested, wondering if Leech could pull it off like that. He lent Leech the shovel for a few minutes so see how he'd handle it, and the Pansage looked at the Abra, then at the shovel and snorted. He could be the superior one when it came to this digging thing.
Challenge accepted. With an indignant snort, the Pansage used the vines from his hands to carefully lift the shovel up, at first nearly dropping it before wrapping them even tighter around the handle. The Pansage was wobbly at first as he struck the shovel into the earth, feeling it dig through the softer dirt as he shoved it in harder, penetrating the wall even more. With a grunt he pulled it out, nearly stumbling backwards in the process as the dirt in the shovel lobbed behind him awkwardly, landing on Nate's feet (assuming he didn't move out of the way).

Houdini finished digging into the wall with the shovel as they payed attention to Susumu and his Pansage. It looked like Pansage was trying to show that it could show-off to. Nate really didn't care, he wasn't here to make friends. Nate just kept ignoring Susumu and his Pansage, that was until the grass type pokemon shoveled all the dirt onto Nate's feet. That was really annoying. Nate picked up the shovel Abra had been psychicly using to dig the wall up as he started to dig with the metal utensil into the wall. While he dug into the wall uncovering shards he observed Pansage constantly throwing dirt at Nate. He just kept moving out of the road, but the Pansage seemed to be quite the annoying type of show-off pokemon. Nate stopped watched Susumu and his pokemon as he noticed Houdini use Psychic again. Although, this time it was to sort the broken shards apart from the un-broken ones. Houdini certainly seemed to be the smart type of pokemon and knew what she was doing. That was an advantage, but the flaw was she was a shy pokemon. Making it harder for her to get along with people and pokemon. Nate was being boring, but oh well. Susumu supposed that it was probably for the best to focus on digging for a bit. He allowed a few moments of silence to fill in the tunnel as the pair and their Pokemon continued digging. The Pansage let out the most grunts as he struggled adapting with the shovel, getting frustrated with the tool because he wasn't used to such things, as well as how it was not made for Pokemon usage. After a few moments of fruitlessly digging the shovel into the earth and straining with his vines, the Pansage huffed and simply let go, this time trying with his two hands to give the shovel tool a try.
<This time I got it!> He huffed, grunting as he jammed the shovel into the wall, managing to get it in pretty deep. He gasped at his success and attempted to pull it out but no cigar. <E-Eh?> He started in confusion, and started to make furious pulls and tugs in an attempt to get the shovel out of the wall. It was stuck like glue! Like a Volbeat attracted to an Illumise in heat! <Why...won't...you...get out?> The Pansage panted with each pull he made, embarrassed and frustrated at being in this kind of situation. Finally he stopped pulling to look at his hands; bright red from the strain, shaking his head as he growled at the demon shovel that refused to move.
Ok. He was bored, and Nate could get over it. "So what are you saving up for, shard wise? I haven't spent mine yet." He mused, realizing that ever since he split that HM Cut with the weird internet guy, he had little reason to spend shards. Oh, then there was those two TM thunders he bought. He felt like that was worth the shards, though he wasn't sure what he planned on getting after this. If anything, it was kind of relaxing. A way to wind down.

Nate watched as Houdini finished sorting out the shards. They were perfectly piled with broken and unbroken. Nate stopped shoveling into wall as he picked up the shards bag and started to fill the bag with the unbroken shards. Mining was tedious work, but the rewards from it were great. That's what made most people like to go mining at Shasta Ruins. Nate heard Susumu ask him what he had done with his shards since the last expedition they had. Nate knew exactly what he had done. He also wondered what Susumu did with his. Maybe he got a TM like Nate did, or he could of got something completely different. Nate quickly answered Susumu's question as he said, "I spent my shards on TM Psychic. I then gave Abra the TM. What are you saving yours up for?"Nate answered Susumu's question, it broke the awkward silence that seemed to be growing. Nate knew he didn't like to talk much when he was concentrating, but a little wouldn't hurt. Certainly if it was someone he had known and made a song with. Having Susumu as his partner was most likely better then some complete weirdo. Nate then said to Susumu, "So Susumu. What other pokemon do you have?"Nate awaited Susumu's answer as he picked up his shovel again and started to dig into the wall. He then observed Houdini as he saw his Abra was now having a rest. Ah, so that was rather predictable. Psychic seemed like a really impressive move for such a small Pokemon, so he had a hunch that maybe the attack came from a TM. Then again, basing attacks on size wasn't always the most reliable thing to base hunches on. Leech was quite small as well, even though he had a Leaf Stone that could potentially evolve the Pokemon into something larger and with better hair. No, he was reserving it for his Weepinbell, so he wasn't planning on using it on Leech at all. If he had a spare one, then maybe he would just as an experiment. "Ah, I actually haven't thought it out yet." He said honestly, taking a break from mining to wipe the sweat on his hands on his pants, realizing that the tool in his hands was starting to slip.
"I'm thinking of a TM though, that would probably help out." He paused and leaned on his shovel, thinking about his team. "Yeah, explosion is my usual..." He needed to teach his Trubbish Explosion so it would fit in with the others, but that could always be put off for later. He was rather pleased with the attacks everyone had, and it wasn't as if they sucked. The issue was being competitive with trainers around his level, which was proving to really put him at his limits sometimes. "My other Pokemon? Man, I have a lot. You mean the ones I battle with, right?" He asked, looking at Nate as he asked that, mostly because he never used Leech in a battle before. He could be led to though, but he mostly wanted to train his main team.
The Pansage was growling at the shovel as he debated asking for help on the matter, but it was pretty simple; he was losing interest, and fast. The Abra and his human stopped giving a damn about him, not even glancing his way or offering to help him out, which just irked him. Well, Nate could be forgiven, but not the Abra. The Pansage decided to 'take a rest' and plopped right on the ground, digging for gold in his nostrils as he dug a dirty finger in there, cleaning out the natural passageways to pass the time.

Nate could feel the sweat falling down his face, mining was hard work. This wall that Susumu and himself were digging into was alot tougher then they had anticipated. Nate didn't give up though, he just powered on, taking occasional breaks to listen to Susumu. Abra on the other hand didn't look like she wanted to work anymore. She must have worn herself out with the Psychic attack. After hearing Susumu not directly answer Nate he said to his mining partner, "Oh Explosion. That's sounds like a great move, and what I meant was your pokemon in general."Houdini was resting while Nate was working. He had no problem with that. The little psychic type fox deserved one. Nate decided to take a glance at Susumu and Pansage again as he kept taking his occasional break in between hacking into the wall. Nate then saw Pansage picking his nose, he had definently picked the wrong time to look. Nate just smiled as he turned his head back to the wall and continued mining. Houdini while taking her rest decided to check out Susumu and his Pansage caught the little grass type monkey picking his nose. Oh what an awful sight it was. Most girls didn't like disgusting things like those that boys would do. Abra just tried to act kind with a smile and not trying to annoy or anger the Tympole. Susumu decided that maybe a drink of water after mining down here wouldn't be a bad idea; he shuffled through his bag and pulled out a bottle of Aqua Fresh, a plastic water bottle that lost its natural chill despite the temperatures around here. Still good enough for him, he thirstily downed it as he felt his dry throat relax a little. Letting out a pleased sigh after feeling a little more refreshed from the drink, he glanced over at Nate to see how he was doing. The guy looked tired, but he was still pulling through with some breaks in their conversation. He would've offered his water if Nate actually needed it, but the guy seemed ok. Seemed as the key word, and Susumu figured that Nate was responsible enough to ask for water or bring his own stuff if he ever needed something.
"Oh, in general." Ok, so not what he battled with. Generally...he had to think about that one. He was collecting flying types for some reason, originally trying to win this Typecaster contest that he heard about, but now he was doing it for fun. He had a bunch of normal types as well, adorable ones, but Nate didn't need to know that detail. "Exploding Pokemon, I have a bunch of flyers too. A looot of normal types, haha. I collected them for a while." He used plenty of them as well, especially since he made it his goal to try and help other trainers learn how to battle. It made him feel good, doing that sometimes. On the plus side, it made TD seem like a better organization as well. Training trainers to have jobs and to actually be successful; he liked it.
"What about you? You have an Abra and Tympole?" He started, wondering which one was his first Pokemon. They both seemed rather inexperienced looking, as if they weren't very strong compared to the Pokemon he was used to being around. "Plan on using them at the Gym?" He asked with a grin, wondering which one it was. Ile Electrique? With Adrian? Well, it couldn't be too bad. Her battle was fun, to be honest. It was Paris in Ville du Grand Pont that he had to be worried about, really. Now that battle was a pain in the ass! The Pansage wiped his dirty hand on the ground when he finished, letting out a yawn as he caught the Abra's nervous gaze looking at him, even smiling at him. Odd.
She had been ignoring him in the past, so why did she choose to notice him now? <Headache?> He asked her casually, not all that impressed with how easily she wore out and looked tired. Yeah, his shovel was still stuck in the wall, but he could still dig with his claws...if he had the interest to do so.

Nate was doing about half the work he could do, but that didn't matter him. He watched Susumu drink his water, Nate wasn't jealous. He had water in his bag to. He turned around and opened the bag and pulled out a bottle with the label 'Mountain Springs'. It was one of the more famous types of water companies. Nate opened it and guzzled down a large amount of water. He then put the lid on the bottle and placed the bottle on the ground so he could drink more later. Nate felt more energized after the drink of water. Now he was paying more attention to Susumu and from the sounds of him, he was a neat trainer that had lots of different pokemon. Nate only had Tympole and Abra. He started to hack into the wall as he observed Abra starting to use Psychic again on the wall as it looked like she had a long enough break. Nate then said to Susumu in answer to his question, "Cool, your pokemon sound exciting. I have Abra and Tympole, and I do plan on using them in the gym battle once they get some training."Nate wondered why he had kept bumping into Susumu each time he entered Shasta Ruins. Either way it was alright, but his Pansage seemed to be the annoying one in the whole situation. The Pansage seemed to hate other pokemon but loved humans, that was something strange that Nate didn't like. Anyways. The Pansage was getting annoyed with all of the mind reading hubbub going on, and he was still being ignored. What the hell? The monkey was bored, annoyed, and he was having none of that. He knew exactly what to do to liven this situation up, especially because these pricks had it coming to them. Well, again, mostly the Abra. Nate was digging so he kind of excused him for at least entertaining his trainer, but the Abra? No excuses. He pulled out a special and magical berry called Effervescent Shitstain, and he knew very well what it did.
His trainer told him about it after buying it from some red headed man, as mysterious as a fleeting figure in the shadows, revealing this brilliant and borbulous treasure to him. With a devious snicker, he consumed the berry and felt its spicy sensations tickle down to his stomach. Oh god, this actually kind of hurt. He bent over in pain and let out a weak mumble, bending over as he realized that something was leaking out of his rear end. Oh god, it was coming!
He furiously turned around and fired of the 'mud slap' shit slap at the Abra, which should've completely knocked her out due to his power level. <BEAAAAAANS.> Leech screamed out wickedly, making Susumu drop his shovel as he stared at the sight in amazement and horror, and then the smell. "GOD. Ugh, why?! Why would you eat that?!" He knew instantly what happened, for no shit was ever shat as hard as that. The shitstain move finally halted, with Leech panting from the move as he curled up and fell limp on his side, reeking as Susumu stared at the scene with his hand covering his nose, completely appalled at the scent.
"Leech, why? Whyyy?" He whined, crouching down next to the Pansage and checking up on him, realizing how bad its stomach and rear end must've hurt from using the attack. He patted the monkey on the side, trying to let him ease up and relax while the Abra dealt with her shitty situation.

Abra had went back to work, using Psychic on the wall and trying to help Nate as much as she could. Nate was also hard at work, trying to concentrate a-bit more now then before. Next Nate turned around to see Abra in a large pile of mud. He wondered how in the living hell it all of a sudden got covered in mud, it looked injured also but not down and out. Nate looked over to see Susumu tending to his Pansage, and as he looked closer he saw mud on Pansage. The little grass monkey also looked to be in a bit of pain. What in the world was going on. Nate looked angrily at Susumu and had a suspicion that he had commanded his Pansage to use Mud-Slap on Abra. What a prick of a move that was. Nate was just starting to respect Susumu, now he may as well leave it all behind as he said, "Your stupid little shit monkey just hurt my Abra. What the hell is wrong with that little pest, my Abra did nothing to it!"Nate gave no care in the world what he had said to Susumu. It was his stupid pokemon's fault. Now he had to get his Abra un-stuck. That was going to be a bit of a struggle. Nate grabbed the water bottle he had been drinking from and opened it and poured the leftover liquid onto Abra's boy where all the mud was to make it easier to escape from. He then looked at Abra as it seemed to disintegrate most of mud as it slid of the psychic fox pokemon's body. Nate then with his already dirty hands started to try and pull off as much mud as he possibly could off Abra. Nate didn't want the two pokemon to fight, his Abra was way weaker then Pansage but had more of a brain then it. Abra's arms were free now, the little psychic type fox didn't look to happy as it raised it's hands under it's face and they started to glow a very very dark blue color. The anger must have been flowing quickly through Abra's body as she released the aura straight towards Pansage looking to give it a bit of payback. Susumu decided to stop mining to take Leech into his arms, looking at him in concern for eating that berry and wondering what he was thinking. He thought he told the Pansage about that particular berry, but knowing how many berries he had in his bag, it could've been an easy mistake for the Pansage. Most certainly, the grass type looked to be in pain, and scolding him for using it was definitely pointless. Leech didn't look to be in good condition, so he rubbed the monkey's belly gently to try and relieve some of the stress he was feeling, which made Leech sink into his lap with a pained whimper. Ugh, this was not doing anything good for his digestive tract, as it was going around and around in circles and doing the ballroom blitz. It was even more Blitz than Toma's Blitz.
Susumu looked up in surprise at Nate's out of nowhere snap; a bit surprise at the bipolarity of the trainer, as well as the immaturity associated with it. He sat there and took it, wincing as he simply stared at the green haired male and took it in, not even expecting such a reaction from him. It was the most emotion he had ever seen from the guy, who he originally saw as laid back, formal, and awkward. Talk about socially unpredictable. "Well..." He had trouble swallowing as he tried to think of a response, since Nate wasn't even giving his Pansage a chance. "You are being way too judgmental." He decided on saying, not trying to step on broken toes, but it was the truth.
It wasn't that his Pansage was the perfect angel, since he knew he wasn't, but it was the trainer's utter lack of maturity and understanding that really irked him. "How would you know? You're off drinking and digging." He tried to be reasonable, but it seemed like it was impossible. Besides, the Abra only looked more guilty as it used a Psychic on his Pansage while Susumu was holding him, putting him in danger as well. The Pansage didn't feel a thing, but Susumu felt oddly sick when he was exposed to the attack. "Sonuva..." He grunted, holding Leech close to him as he was losing his patience with this guy.

Susumu didn't like Nate's verbal attack, well to bad. His bratty little Pansage had started the whole predicament. Thankfully Abra connected with Psychic, it didn't hit Pansage but it hit Susumu. Leaving him woozy. Nate really didn't care, he grabbed Houdini's pokeball and returned the psychic fox pokemon back inside it's pokeball as he let it take a long rest it deserved. Nate started to pack up shards into his bag. He had enough of Susumu and his Pansage. This wasn't going to stop him from coming to Shasta Ruins, but he didn't want to partner with Susumu at least. As put Houdini's pokeball in his pocket for the moment while collecting his shards and sorting out his gear he looked at Susumu and said, "Whatever. I don't really care what you say."Nate was being simply straight-forward. He liked how he acted in the situation and didn't care one bit about his new enemies as he got all of his gear collected. He was soon going to leave the ruins. Except there time in the ruins wasn't up yet, so he was stuck for the moment.
