Nathan jerked his head back in surprise when the Kakuna whizzed by his face. He followed the bug type with his eyes until it stopped in front of his fire type. The lean teen was about to yell at the golden insect for interrupting his pokémon's fight, but what he saw left him speechless. Brutus, the younger boy's Darumaka, was lying on the ground, unconscious. "What the?! Dimitri already won?" The trainer was confused. Wasn't his red furball having a tough time dealing with the other zen charm pokémon just a moment ago? Looks like he was wrong when he thought his pokémon's higher level won't make a difference. It was only one level for god's sake!
Dimitri didn't stop his rollout attack even though he already defeated Brutus. It's not like he didn't want to, it was more like he couldn't. He gained too much force already to cease his fast rolling, he even had troubles with controlling his own movements. When he thought his situation couldn't get any worser, a strange, yellow thing appeared in front of him and shot numerous poisonous darts at him. The round creature winced in pain as the purple stings embedded into his back and broke off as he rolled around, digging even deeper into his flesh. Dimitri let out an angry snarl a he quickly made an u-turn, heading towards the Kakuna. He hoped his attack had enough power to knock out the cocoon in one hit; he was about to fall over from exhaustion.

( Dimitri should still be at Level 7. You aren't supposed to add levels to the poke'mon until the end of the battle, so he'll be at the same level the entire battle. )
::kakuna:: FEMALE Level 7 STINGS shed skin Attacks;; poison sting - harden - string shot Hit by Rollout, Beginning to weaken Used Harden (def +1) and Poison Sting Hates to talk and be social but kind in her own way. "If you survive this Stings, then make sure to up your defenses!" He shouted out to his female Kakuna as the small red poke'mon rolled towards her. She wasn't the most mobile of poke'mon, so dodging the attack was out of the question. She could just try to with stand the very powerful rollout attack and hope she could take down her opponent with her next attack. Dimitri hit her like a bowling ball hitting a pin. She flew backwards and into the trunk of a tree, nearly splitting her shell open. In a panic she quickly began to rebuild her exoskeleton, making it stronger than before, increasing her own defenses.
"Good job Stings! Now a Poison Sting!" Her trainer shouted out and she was ready to obey. Back on the ground and with an improved shell she began spitting out purple needles from her mouth, aiming for the quick moving target.

Nathan was starting to get a little worried about his Darumaka. The Kakuna didn't faint from his rollout, he managed to withstand it and sent dozens of small, purple arrows towards the fire type. "Look out Dimitri! Those darts are very poisonous!" But he was too late. The rolling furball lost control of his attack and he could only head forward, straight towards the bug type. Thanks to that, the cocoon's stings hit him in the side this time, infecting him with its toxin. Dimitri felt lightheaded and tired, but he kept rolling. There was no way he's going to faint until he beats this Kakuna!!
"Go, Dimitri! Knock it out with your strongest rollout!" The tall boy was relieved his pokémon didn't faint from the poison stings, but he knew it couldn't take another one. If the insect can withstand the rollout this time too, Dimitri's done for. "This is your last chance, pal. Don't mess up." whispered the trainer.

FEMALE Level 7 STINGS shed skin Attacks;; poison sting - harden - string shot Dodged Rollout Used Harden (def +2) Hates to talk and be social but kind in her own way. Stings, after taking that last Rollout, wasn’t really keen on taking another hit. Even though she didn’t have legs or arms with which to defend herself, she wasn’t incapable of evading an attack. When Dimitri loomed down on her, she leaned to the side and the Zen Pokémon flew past her head. She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth a few times and shifted her weight to turn herself around.
But the Darumaka looked really weak at that point in time. She didn’t think that she needed to start attacking it, especially when she could be increasing her own defences. She hardened her exoskeleton and dug herself down into the ground for leverage. “Keep going Stings,” Copper encouraged her, “Next chance you get, use Poison Sting!”

Dimitri, missing his target, could finally stop his rollout attack. He uncurled himself and sat down on the ground, panting heavily. <Damn it. I ahnderestimated zis bug.> The Darumaka didn't except the Kakuna to lean out of his attack's way, but what surprised him the most was the fact that she didn't attack. The fire type was confused; was the bug planning something? He shook his head violently, trying to get rid of his uneasiness. <There's no time to hesitate. i'll have to attack her before she changes her mind!>
The round pokémon took a deep breath, inhaling as much oxygen as he could. When his lungs was filled completely with air, he blew out a small pillar of fire, trying to scorch and burn his opponent. Maybe the fire type attack will finish her off and he will win! Dimitri was jumping in joy at the thought of beating another pokémon so quickly when he suddenly felt lightheaded again. His vision was starting to become blurry and his side started burnw with pain. <What the-> Before he could finish his sentence, the Darumaka fell over and hit the ground, unconscious.
Meanwhile, in Nathan's bag, wrapped in warm clothes was an egg. It was laid by the boy's abra. The trainer put it in his backpack so it wouldn't get damaged and it was easier to carry it this way too.

Trainer Copper ! Stings, despite being hit by a Rollout, was still feeling pretty healthy, due in part to her strong defenses. She didn't anticipate the coming fire attack, though, and thus didn't brace herself for impact. A squeak of pain left her.. mouth? as her yellow body was scorched.
But it wasn't enough to down her. Opening her eyes back up and coughing up smoke, she looked down at her fainted foe and felt a smidgen of success. "Hah!" Copper grinned toothily, feeling rather proud of himself even though beating one pokemon with two wasn't much of an accomplishment.

Nathan walked over to his unconscious Darumaka and touched its forehead with a pokéball. The capturing device opened and sucked the fire type in. The tall boy attached the sphere to his belt and detached another one at the same time. He threw the red and white orb into the air, which released a pretty mean looking Krabby. The golden water tpye snapped his pincers at the Kakuna. <So you think you're pretty tough, just because you beat that was already on the verge of fainting, huh?> Karkat let out an angry growl as he approached the insect. He'll show this little girl what happens when you messes with his friends!
The grouchy water type started running towards the bug type in his own, odd style. When he got close enough, he jumped into the air with his pincers raised above his head. <Let's see how you like this, b*tch!> The shiny crab slammed his pincers down on the Kakuna, trying to grab it and crush its exoskeleton.

Trainer Copper ! "C'mon Stings, we have this in the bag." Copper encouraged his remaining pokemon, wearing a smirk on his face. He felt like pounding this rude guy's team in. He had confidence in his Kakuna. Maybe a little too much confidence.
<I don't think in that way. Tone your voice down.> Stings responded in a hissing voice to the pretentious crab. Who did he think he was, judging her with one look? Unfortunately for Stings, she was far too slow and heavy to try to avoid the Vicegrip and was caught in his unrelenting claws. After a moment, she was able to leap out of his clutches and land behind him. Her exoskeleton retained a dent from the impact. "Harden and Poison Sting!" Copper commanded.
In obedience, the Kakuna strengthened her shell once again before shooting several poison coated darts at her effervescent opponent. ::kakuna:: DEF +3 FEMALE Level 7 STINGS shed skin Attacks;; poison sting - harden - string shot Hates to talk and be social but kind in her own way. The tall boy sat down on the ground stretching out his limbs and leaned against a tree's trunk. He knew Karkat could handle the Kakuna easily; despite how rash he looked like, the Crabby always stayed coolheaded when he had a fight. He doesn't lose his temper easily. "Don't overdo it Karkat. The Kakuna didn't do anything wrong." Unfortunately, this time the water type was pretty pissed off at the bug type for hurting his friend, Nathan had to warn it so the crab wouldn't do something it'll regret later.
The shiny Krabby let out a sigh as he he tried to calm himself down. <Fine.> Before he could say anything else the Kakuna's poisonous arrows hit him. The crustacean hissed in pain, as the poisonous arrows raked his golden back. Karkat shot an angry glare at Stings as he turned to fece her, clearly mad at her surprise attack. <You'll pay for that, girl.>
"AncientPower." The grumpy Krabby nodded, his eyes starting to glow with a purple aura. Suddenly, rocks erupted from the ground, outlined with the same purple light. They started to circle around the crab and his opponent, slowly drawing closer and closer to them. When they were only inches away from the two pokémon, Karkat raised one of his pincers into the air and the boulders flew into the sky. The water type smirked. <Let's see how you like this.> The shiny pokémon slammed his pincers down on the ground quickly. The rocks that were shot into the sky a moment ago, started to rain from the clouds, all targetting the Kakuna.
The egg in Nathan's bag was still motionless.

Trainer Copper ! Stings smiled to herself when she saw that her stingers had penetrated her foe's skin, rendering him hapless but unfortunately not poisoned like she wanted. Oh well; she had plenty more tries, seeing that it was her only damaging attack. She acknowledged her foe's warning with an inclination of her head and a minute smirk.
She was impressed with the skills the Krabby employed as he carried out his next move - an assailing of rocks straight for her face. Too slow to dodge, she found herself smacked in the face by several boulder sized rocks. It hurt a lot to say the least, and now the Kakuna was unsure if she could continue standing. Her trainer was certain that they could still win, though. "Go for a String Shot and a Poison Sting!" He commanded enthusiastically.
With a drawn out sigh, she shot a line of web at Karkat before firing off another round of poisoned barbs, hoping that she'd get him poisoned at the very least.

When he saw a barrage of purple stingers flying straight at his face, Karkat quickly put his large pincers in front of his body to shield himself from the kakuna's poisonous attack. The needles scraped the crab's claws, but didn't do much damage to them. The water type didn't get poisoned by the bug type either, much to his relievement. The Krabby looked behind, giving his trainer a questioning look. He expected an order from the him, but the boy just shrugged, much to the crustaceans dismay. "I guess you could use another Vicegrip. Maybe."
Karkat let out a sigh. His trainer was so useless sometimes. <So it's Vicegrip, right?> He started running sideways, heading towards the insect, baring his pincers at the cocoon pokémon. He was attempting to grab the Kakuna and slam it into the ground repeatedly until it loses consciousness.
The egg was still resting silently, wrapped in clothes in the human's backpack.

Trainer Copper ! Stings wasn't too pleased that Karkat was able to defend himself from her assault so easily, but whatever. She knew she didn't have much of a chance in the battle anyway, so her hopes were crushed from the beginning. Impatience welled up in her as she waited for the opposing trainer to issue a command. Finally, vicegrip. Oh, c'mon. Vicegrip was a weak move; it was insulting to be put out with something like that.
Having had a lot of warning, it was easy for her to maneuver out of the way of Karkat's attack. Despite the injuries on her body, she still had a will. Grinning, she shot even more poisonous darts at her clawed opponent. It was as though she kept surviving just to spite him.
Copper stood there, a little surprised himself that his own pokemon was able to dodge Karkat's attack so easily despite her wounds. ::kakuna:: DEF +3 FEMALE Level 7 STINGS shed skin Attacks;; poison sting - harden - string shot Hates to talk and be social but kind in her own way. Karkat grunted in annoyance; that Kakuna was starting to get on his nerves. She knows there's no way she can beat him in her weakened state, right? Well, the Krabby had to admit the bug type was a pretty formidable opponent and he was starting to enjoy this battle. The water type cracked a small grin as he shot forward in the cocoon's direction, taking the poison sting attack head on. They stuck in his hard skin so he tried to take them out with his pincers which proved to be a pretty hard feat to accomplish. His large claws wasn't suited for a precise job like this so he only pushed the barbs even deeper inside.
"Forget the needles Karkat. Just use Bubble." Nathan was still leaning against a tree, watching his pokémon's battle with growing interest. Stings proved to be the best practice opponent for the crab. He couldn't take her out easily, so the watre type had to think before he acts. This will come in handy when he'll fight against strong pokémons.
The golden Krabby nodded in obedience and started to blew dozens of transparent bubbles, all floating towards the foe. Even though bubbles was supposed to be slow, these ones were pretty fast. In the blink of an eye, they were already in front of the Kakuna, ready explode upon contact with the bug's body.
The egg containing a baby abra slightly twitched.

DEF +3 FEMALE Level 7 STINGS shed skin Attacks;; poison sting - harden - string shot Hates to talk and be social but kind in her own way. FAINTED. This time the Krabby’s super bubbles caught up with her, and she was dazzled by their shine so much that she couldn’t move to avoid them in time. They popped against her shell with loud popping sounds and she fell back onto her back, her shell cracked and damaged from the battle. With a final sigh, she admitted defeat, and closed her eyes to rest. Copper would probably bitch at her later for losing, but she’d fought against the Darumaka and this Krabby, so he couldn’t complain. Besides, it had all been her own work – trainers didn’t battle. If they did they’d be too shit scared to lift a finger anyway...
+1 level to Darumaka, Krabby.

Karkat puffed out his chest with pride, as his opponent fell and a wide grin plastered his face. He was happy, he won his first, serious fight. It's true that the Kakuna was already tired out by Dimitri, but who cares? All that matters is victory, right? The shiny crab approached his trainer, waiting for some praises from his trainer. "Good job, Karkat. Now rest a little." The water type was about to protest, but Nathan bonked the him on the head with a pokéball, making him hiss in pain and swear loudly. The capturing device opened and sucked the grouchy pokémon inside before he could take revenge on the human.
"That was a pretty good battle, boy. We could repeat it sometime." The tall boy smiled at the younger trainer and held out his hand for a handshake. He hoped Copper will take his defeat like a man and won't start acting like a spoiled kid, saying things like he only won, because he went easy on him. He hated people who could't admit defeat. They were pathetic and irritating. [Very irritating.

Copper just gave a small snarl as his opponent as his opponent congratulated him on a goodbattle; all he did was simply slap away the hand that was held out for him and gave a little sniff.
"Hmph, you're win was nothing but luck; I was just going easy on you from the beginning; if I had tried any harder, you would of lost." he said, before he returned his fainted pokemon back to its pokeball.
"Maybe there won't be a next time; I don't have the time to spend it with you losers." he simply said as he gave another sniff from his nose. Gosh he was annoying, but he simply was being his one-minded self as always; surely he was going to regret it any second now wasn't he?

Nathan held back the urge to punch Copper in the face again and forced another smile on his face. "So you went easy on me, huh? Let's leave it at that." The lean boy scratched the back of his head, wondering where to head now. He wanted to catch a new pokémon to make his team stronger, but he also had to find the baby Nincada's parents before it wakes up in his pocket. This annoying, little prick might be able to help him. "Hey, dude. Do you know a place where I could find some bug pokémons?" The trainer started to have a bad feeling. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to ask Copper.

Copper was just starting to walk away when he heard the other trainer said that he wouldn't say any more about the battle after Copper said that he had gone easy on him.
"Hmph. Thats right you idiot." He said under his breath with a smirk on his face whilst continuing to walk away from the trainer, before he stopped when he heard another question being directed at him; something about finding some bug pokemon?
"Why would I care about some stupid bug pokemon?" He said as he turned around to face the trainer, completely forgetting about the bug type he had as well. "To me They are just worthless and weak to use, but then again, a weak trainer like you could do well with something like that." He said with a smirk, until he pointed to his right. "If you want to find some, just go that way; you'll see some in no time." and with that, he turned around and walked away, not caring what would happen next.

"You have a bug pokémon too, idiot." Nathan thought to himself, but he didn't say it aloud. He wanted the kid to disappear as soon as possible. He was such an irritatin bastard. "So, it's that way. Okay, I get it. Thanks." The tall boy headed towards the direction Copper said the bugs were and soon arrived at a thick forest. It was the perfect place for bugs pokémons. There were a lot of hiding places like large trees, thick bushes, tall grass etc. It didn't matter where he looked, the trainer only saw green everywhere. The human smirked before taking a deep breath and shouted at the top of his lungs. "Is there any Ninjasks around?! I found a baby Nincada looking for its parents!!!" Nathan hoped the small, white insects parents heard him. He didn't have time to waste.

Pokemon encounter ! A Slakoth high up in a tree stretched his neck slowly as the trainer came around, shouting that there was a baby insect looking for its parents. A Nincada, at that! Mmm, he hadn't had Nincada in a while; he considered their crunchy, flavorful shells a delicacy, and the younger they were, the more tender their interiors were. The trainer's calls for help were like dinner bells to the hungry sloth.
He fell from branch to branch until he came near enough to the human to address him. Looking around, he frowned. <Where's that baby Nincada? Are you lying to her parents? They'll be so disappointed!> His face was disapproving of the lying trainer, though he'd just lied himself. He might be a slow Slakoth, but his mind was quick.
