Nathan noticed the Slakoth hanging on a branch, asking about the Nincada's whereabouts. "It's in my pocket. My pokémon knocked it out a while ago and it's still unconscious." The lean human shoved his hand in his pocket and after a short search, pulled out the motionless body of the small bug. "See?" The trainer let out a loud yawn and rubbed his eyes. He was sleep deprived and it started to get to him. Maybe that's why he didn't think much before putting the cicada in front of the normal type.

::slakoth:: MALE lv 8 Truant Scratch | Yawn | Encore Quick-witted - Selfish - Cold The slakoth's mouth opened just slightly when he saw the nincada being brought out of the trainers pocket; oh it looked so tasty! The shell was nice and shiny, the claws looked in a prime condition, as well as it being quite young. Oh what a treat it would be if he could land his hands on it! "Hmm. I haven't seen and ninjask around at the moment at all to be honest." The slakoth said whilst a devious plan formed in his head. "Maybe if you leave the baby here, if I see that if the parents come round, I'll return the baby to them." Although at the same time, different thoughts were going through the Slakoths head, but would the trainer agree with him?

Nathan yawned again, much louder this time, his eyes slowly closing. He quickly slapped himself, trying to get rid of the sleepiness, but even the sharp pain in his cheeks couldn't wake the boy up completely. "Sure, I'll leave it here. Tell its parents to look out after it a little better." The trainer turned away, showing his back to the Slakoth and decided to leave. He only took a few steps when he suddenly stopped and walked back to the sloth pokémon."Um, could you help me? I'm looking for a place where I could find bug pokémons. I would like to catch a good one."

Ohhhhh yeaaaaah baby! The Slakoth saw the delicious treat offered to him, and he was very delighted to have the fainted Nincada in his arms. This trainer truly was a miracle worker, so of course he was going to be nice and point the trainer in the right direction. <Look at the pond, bugs love breeding around there.> He nodded, pointing in the correct direction as his claws poked at the shell of the Nincada.
Yummy yummy, in his belly. He'd wait until Nathan left though, but his expression held nothing but hunger and impatience. To prove his point at least, a Yanma flew overhead, flying off in the suggested direction. He was going there in an awful hurry, what was the rush?
<My reflection! I need to see it again!> The Yanma flied in a panic, rubbing his face as if he was convinced that some kind of mark was drawn on it. He didn't take notice of the trainer or his mission, but he was an easy target to follow.

The lean, sleep deprived teen's eyes snapped wide open when he saw the dragonfly whizz past his head. He quickly started running, following the orange bug type, leaving only a small dust cloud behind himself. Maybe if he looked back at the Slakoth one last time he would notice the evil and hungry expression on its face, but all he cared about was the Yanma. He was sure the insect would lead him to more bug types just like the normal type told him. He couldn't wait. Maybe he'll find one of those poisonous centipedes. What was they called again? Venipede?
While he was still following the Yanma, Nathan detached a pokéball from his belt. He threw the capsule into the ground, where it snapped open, releasing a small, round thing enveloped in a bright white light. As the light faded away, the creature started to fall towards the trainer and gently landed on his head. The red pokémon started to rock back and forth with a wide grin on his face. <Vat's ze mission, comrade?> Dimitri asked. Nathan smiled and took the Darumaka off his head. "We're gonna look for Venipedes."

Nathan did right to follow the Yanma to the pond; as various worm like Pokemon were shuffling around in the branches. It seemed like the native bird Pokemon were oblivious to this area, as if it was a sacred haven for bug types. The Yanma was frantically staring at his reflection in the water, as if he was afraid that something would happen if he looked away.
He might've seemed like the most interesting thing so far, but there were angry shouts as a Dwebble waddled out of her nest in a huff. <Gosh darnit! Why'd I get robbed again?! Those vermin!> She raged, waving her claws around as she stared at any bug type that looked at her.
It was probably one of her close friends that did it! They were the only ones that knew about the secret hiding place in her nest, and now her favorite pearl was gone! How dare they do that to her! So cruel! What could she possibly do now?

Nathan was left speechless by the pond's beauty and its fauna's liveliness. He put Dimitri down on the ground and started to explore the new area. Suddenly, he heard loud shouting coming from somewhere near him so he decided to check it out. He soon found a Dwebble, standing in front of its nest, throwing a tantrum. "Excuse me. I heard you got robbed. Can I help you with anything?" The trainer crouched down to get a closer look at the crab like thing.
While the trainer was waiting for the rock inn pokémon's answer, his Darumaka finally managed to catch up with him. <Is zere anyzing wrong?> The zen charm pokémon cocked his head, curiosity clearly showing in his large, round eyes. Since his owner was blocking the view, the fire type climbed the human's back and took a seat on his head again. <Ohai! Voo are yoo?> This time his question was directed at the Dwebble.

The Dwebble looked up at the human and the Darumaka with narrowed slits for eyes. She was obviously pissed off. Why would anyone want to steal from her?! She was so nice and caring and loving...Steam seemed to radiate from her shell as she ranted at the trainer. /I can't believe that bitch would steal from me! And here I thought she was a good friend.../ she clicked her claws together as the human asked if he could help.
/Of course you can help!/ she shouted at him angrily. /Find that whore of a Pokémon who took my pearl! I bet it was that fat slut Caterpie! Oooooh once I get my claws on her I'm gonna--/ The rest was cut off because this is a kid's show, and that type of language isn't allowed here.

Nathan sighed, as he listened to the Dwebble's complaining. "Are you sure it was a Caterpie? It would be a little awkward if you accused it wrongly." The boy was starting to regret he tried to be nice to the bug type. WHy didn't he go after the Yanma?! The trainer grunted in his frustration and decided to stand up before his legs go numb. Maybe the dragonfly's still at the pond.
Dimitri didn't except Nathan to stand up so quickly so he fell off the boy's head. He hit the ground hard, though thanks to his thick fur, he survived without major damage. <Ze heck was zat?> The Darumaka was about to tell his trainer off for not warning him before moving so suddenly, but the human already left to search for the Yanma. <Hey, wait for me!>

::dwebble:: Level 5|Female Sturdy|Shell Armor Fury Cutter|Rock Blast Emotional - Trusting - Holds Grudges - Ghetto? "Off course it was that slut of a caterpie!" The dwebble screamed at the inconsiderate trainer; how dare he insist that she could be wrong. She had the evidence that it was the caterpie; only she knew of the secret hiding place. "It had to be that whore! Only she knew about this place." She shouted, pointing a raised claw at the nest she had come out of. "She knew that I had my pearl in there; so she came along and nicked it the bitch." She muttered under her breath, before she started pacing up and down. "Right, seeing as your the only thing that can help, I want you to go get my pearl back, as well as bringing the caterpie back, or else you can't pass though here." the dwebble stated, making sure that her body was blocking the entrance of the path. "Her house is that way if I remember." She said, pointing a claw to the trainers north-west. Well, seeing as the route was blocked now, it would be the best to do this little mission wouldn't it?

Nathan rolled his eyes, starting to lose his patience with the Dwebble. Who does she think she is? Some kind of high and mighty being that can just order others around? He could easily knock it out in the blink of an eye with one of his pokémons if he wanted! The lean boy let out another deep sigh. "Okay, I'll bring that Caterpie here. You just wait here." The trainer picked his backpack up from the ground and started to head towards the direction the crab like bug pointed. "Come on, Dimitri."
When the pissed off teen got to the pond, he stopped, as he got an idea. Why don't he go and check out that Yanma? It would be a good warm up for his Darumaka before the Caterpie and he could even take out his frustration with the Dwebble on the dragonfly too. The boy quickly grabbed his fire type with one hand, placed the startled furball on his head and started to run towards the shore of the pond where he last saw the orange insect.

The Caterpie's house was a sight to see. String Shot was everywhere over two rocks that clashed against each other. It made a small little door to the large home for one Pokemon. The little sneak smirked to herself as she polished off something wit er tail. <There.> She said to herself, holding up the pearl that she had stolen from that little trusting Pokemon. She stuffed it deep in her house and placed it by her bed. Sighing happily the Caterpie decided it was time for her sun bathing nap. Crawling outside the Caterpie sat right outside of her string shot house and laid in front, curling in a ball and lightly sleeping. Dare try to get into her house?

Nathan froze in his tracks, as he passed a sleeping Caterpie. He sneaked closer to the small worm and when he heard the bug type's quiet snoring, he got into action. The boy released his Krabby and ordered it to go inside the bug's house and look for a pearl. The crab nodded and entered the Caterpie's home. Karkat quickly started to search for the pearl, throwing and broking furnitures, leaving scratch marks on the walls. He was about to blast a hole on the wall when he noticed something faintly glowing. He turned towards the light's direction and saw the round object. He quickly picked it up, careful not to damage it and escaped before the house collapsed.
"What the heck did you do, Karkat?! You destroyed the whole place!" The tall trainer shouted as he and his water type were running to the plac the where the Dwebble was waiting. <Sorry, boss. I was just trying to find that thing.> Nathan sighed in disbelief. "By destroying everything?!" The teen recalled his Krabby, ending the conversation. He stopped in front of the Dwebble's nest, looking around, checking if anyone followed him. He was about to call for the rock inn pokémon when something started to shake violently in his bag. The boy quickly opened his backpack and took out an egg. It was covered in cracks, ready to hatch.

Nathan covered his face with his free arm, as the egg burst in his right hand and all that was left was a little Abra. The baby stretched out in the human's hand, almost falling off. If it weren't for its trainer getting a hold of it with his other hand, the young pokémon would have hurt itself. "Woah! Look out, girlie." The yellow pokémon looked up when it heard the teen's voice. Her mouth was left open as she stared in awe at Nathan. <Daddy's...daddy's so cool!>
The human burst into laughter at the Abra's statement about him. "Well, I don't think you'll still think about me that way when I make you fight against that Caterpie." The boy placed the dumbfounded psychic on the ground and patted its head before pointing towards a pissed off, green worm. "See that? You'll have to beat her. But before that let's give you a name." The fox like creature cocked her head, wondering what a name meant. "I'll name you Cayse. Now go and attack."
Cayse nodded and slowly stood up. Unfortunately, she was having a hard time keeping her balance and when she tried to take a step forward, she tripped and fell flat on her face. The Abra bit her lips, holding back her tears as she lay on the ground. "I won't cry in front of Daddy!!" The psi pokémon staggered to her feet, sniffing. She wiped her eyes and made a determined look. "I'll defeat you and make daddy proud of me!" The newborn disappeared for a brief moment before reappearing behind the bug type, her right fist enveloped in sparks. "Take this!" She threw an electric jab towards the insect, targetting the back of its head.

<Heh. Why am I fighting a child? Seriously. You trying to kill me with cute?> The Caterpie sassed as the Abra whined and sobbed, then had some kind of revelation as it started to use a Thunderpunch on her. It hit, but it didn't hurt very much. She wasn't going to lose to some stupid newborn, of all things. She haughtily raised her head in the air as she glared at her foe with a snotty look.
<I still want my pearl, and asking nicely isn't going to work. Kid, you're going to learn early on that your trainer isn't god!> The Caterpie huffed, trying to ruin the baby's image that 'the father was all powerful' as she boldy went and sprayed a String Shot at Nathan's face, attempting to blind him so he wouldn't help out.
<Haha, enjoy that. Now don't you want to cry? Feel tears swelling up? Yeah, I lost my pearl. I feel like that too.> The Caterpie huffed, roughly trying to shove the Abra with her tail to try and pick a fight.

Nathan just yawned loudly, his expression bored as the Caterpie shot a sticky fluid at him. The boy simply put his right hand in front of his face so the string would hit it. It kinda felt disgusting when the silk wrapped around his hand, but he just shook it off. "What's wrong, buggie? Angry that I took the pearl you stole?" The trainer was trying to taunt the bug type and get its attention while Cayse sneaks behind the worm and hits it. Nathan took out the shiny pearl from his pocket and showed it to the caterpillar. "Do you want it? Then come and get it, asshole."
The little Abra was on the verge of crying. Why was this mean thing bullying her? What did she do to her? This was just a friendly sparring, no? <D-don't you dare badmouth my Daddy!> Cayse clenched her fist in anger, sparks flying from his knuckle. SUddenly, a large electrical charge enveloped the psychic's hand and she dashed forward, raising her fist in the air and trying to punch the bug in the face. <Oh god. I-I hope the sky w-won't fall on me.> thought the psi pokémon to himself.

The Caterpie snorted as Nathan lifted his hand and snatched the pearl back, and then had the audacity to pull it out of his pocket. The bug type wasn’t stupid. The Abra was a child and had no experience whatsoever in battling. Hearing the psychic type approaching wasn’t even difficult and she rolled out of the way of the Thunderpunch, sneering at the Abra before she pushed off and tried to ram the psychic type with her body.
She would get her pearl back. Hell, she knew she would. Under what basis, who knew, but she’d earned the pearl, even in the wrong sense. It belonged to her now. “What’s wrong, little Abra? Afraid of the truth?” She cackled at the childish Pokémon. The stammer to her indicated nervousness and nervousness was weakness. The Caterpie really believed that she could win against this newborn Pokémon, especially since she had the advantage of levels and type coverage. (She doesn’t know if the Abra has Psychic type moves btw.)

The small psychic type couldn't react fast enough and got hit by the Caterpie. She was sent flying by the attack, flailing helplessly in the air. <No! The sky's too close! It-it will crush me!!> The Abra was starting to get hysterical, her fear of the sky completely wiping out everything from her mind; she could only think about the vast, blue terror. Until she crashed into ground, falling on her head. Cayse yelped in pain, holding her head as she withered on the ground, tears flowing from her quinted eyes. <Daddy...please...make her stop.>
"That's enough." Nathan couldn't bear to watch his pokemon's suffering any longer so he motioned for Dimitri take care of the Caterpie. The Darumaka nodded, a smirk appearing on his happy face and quickly rushed towards the bug type while his trainer went to fetch Cayse. The fire type stopped in front of the green worm, cracking his knuckles, glaring daggers at the pokémon while smiling. <Quit bullying the little girl, bitch .I'll take you on.>
