Blaze would never openly say it but he could tell from the body language that the exec did not like him one bit. He did not need to be an expert in reading body language to get that across, he could just tell by the way Blaze looked at him and spoke to him. Even now, as a lieutenant the boss still doesn't believe in his ability at all, but Blitz would prove him wrong. He had to do it! He just had to. And with that, Daedalus flew down from the sky ready to strike the legendary beast once more. This time with his fly attack as he hoped to destroy another replica while he was at it. Hopefully it would work, although the way the battle was looking now, he would not be so sure that it would take enough. And Blitz calculated the battle himself and realized that Daedalus likely would not survive another turn so he had to make it count now more than ever. Or else he'd be another pokemon down... And Blitz really did not want to risk that. Especially seeing how the executive had only been using fire types now, and he had no water on his team. Rather yet, he even had a grass on his main team. But it would have to come down, and when it did, they would be ready. The bad thing about the move was the lack of surprise. Blaze wasn't that big a fan of it, even though Mothra liked it enough as it meant she could spent a turn dodging any hits. Knowing the attack well enough gives him the opportunity to set up the flank. " Get behind the Substitute," he told Hell, his eyes never leaving the rufflet's form. As the pokemon started to dive back down, he gave out the order " Stomp!" and hoped that it would work. The attack completely dispelled the substitute in one blow, cutting through it like butter. The remnants of the canine form flickered away, making Hell vulnerable once again. The entei was ready, though. He had already reared up, waiting for the rufflet to fly closer to him before leaping into the air and tried to trap the rufflet under his paws. ::entei:: HELL | 33.5 | M [ low yellow ]

Daedalus had suffered so much damage throughout the battle that Blitz was surprised to see him still standing, but something seemed to click with the Rufflet as he was just not ready to fall yet against the Entei. >No! I will win! You won't beat me!< Daedalus screamed out as he honed his claws once more and then charged forth at the Entei with an unavoidable aerial ace attack. Blitz was very proud of his Rufflet actually, seeing him stand up even after the onslaught he suffered from the Entei. It was rather impressive, it seemed he had trained the Rufflet a lot better than he originally anticipated. He then looked over at the executive and crossed his arms. "To be honest, I thought he'd fall after that myself." He said, acknowledging the astonishment he saw when the Rufflet still remained standing after the attack. It seemed that somehow the increase in accuracy gave him a good indicator of where the attack was coming from, and his reaction picked up so that he would be able to give one more turn after the attack. He wasn't too sure whether his own pokemon would be able to withstand the rufflet's next attack -- a defog would be horrendous right now. Thankfully, the reflect stood strong as the flying type honed his claws. Blaze had to think quickly, wondering what he should be doing next, who he should send out if Hell was unable to survive the onslaught. Thankfully, the reflect absorbed most of the damage, shattering upon contact, but unable to save the fire type from the other half of the damage. The claws had been sharpened quite a bit and slashed across the entei's side, drawing blood. Hell was not going to fall, though. He didn't have enough for another substitute, but he could still take down the bird that did not want to fall. " You train him well," said Blaze, almost tentatively, unsure of how Blitz was going to take his compliment. The resilience of the pokemon has to be commended, though -- it was quite impressive. Still, it wouldn't be enough. " Hell, finish it. Set up the reflect and bite!" Blaze wanted to save the fire gem for whatever came out next, since the flying type was showing major signs of weakening and using it now would be a waste. The fire type was itching to burn the flying type down, flames licking around his jaw in anticipation, but it wasn't what his trainer willed. He let out an annoyed grunt before putting the reflect back around him, shimmering yet translucent, protecting him from future attacks. Once he was safe, he eyed the tiring bird and went in, ready for payback. HELL | 33.5 | M [ low red ] aerial acereflect ! bite ! { REFLECT 1/5 }

Inside he felt a bit happy that the trainer would compliment him even though he could tell Blaze hated his guts. At least the trainer seemed to have some respect for him, he'd take that. It was definitely a positive. Although, he was hoping for a different outcome as he saw that the Entei still stood after the attack. "You trained your Entei well also." He said, complimenting his opponent as the bite came against Daedalus and knocked him out, which caused Blitz to return his bird. "You did great." He said, very proud of how Daedalus held his own against the legendary beast. But now, the battle was finally getting a bit serious. Although at this time, he decided to make an unorthodox move and, instead of sending out his Luxray, Entei, or Electivire... He went with a pokemon that Blaze would probably have pleasure tearing up. Blitz just had to make this count, he knew that Perseus would be able to finish the opponent quickly which gave him more time for the other targets. And with that he tossed his pokeball and from it came a Tangela who saw the Electivire and then looked at Blaze and then Blitz. >Wait... Why am I fighting fire types?!< Perseus asked Blitz, who simply crossed his arms and decided to attack. "Who cares. Growth and Shock Wave." He said and Perseus immediately got started by sending a shock wave at the opponent in hopes of knocking it out. It couldn't miss, and it was a special attack. At least the reflect was set up for any potential physical attacks for the next few turns. The grass type would be easy to beat, though, even if it seemed to have an interesting arsenal of attacks, if the shock wave was any indication. Hopefully it didn't hide anything truly nasty. He'd just have to take it down in one fell swoop. He knew just who to send out, for that. The shock wave racked through the legendary pokemon's body, finally bringing it down. " You did good, Hell," Blaze said as he returned the canine pokemon to his pokeball. " Ashes, show them what you've got -- Sunny Day and Flame Charge!" The typhlosion was released from her pokeball, the flames around her neck burning high and bright. She let out a war cry as a small sun appeared in the area, making the room almost unbearably hot and bright. The fire type didn't mind, relishing in every ounce of extra energy she got. She spotted her prey and grinned, knowing that this was going to be easy. Blitz was again tied with the executive as he took down two pokemon and Blaze also took down two. The only problem was, he now had a Tangela on the field against fire types, this was disastrous and he honestly did not know what he was getting himself into for bringing this pokemon out, except that he saw an easy opening and took full advantage of it. But with the Entei gone, a Typhlosion took his place. He wasn't surprised, Blaze had been here for a while so he expected the executive to have powerful and ultra rare pokemon like this. And the Typhlosion was no joke, setting up a sunny day which made Perseus feel good, warm, and faster, before it struck with a flame charge which incinerated the Tangela momentarily, although in terms of damage it was one of the ones he could sustain most easily. But now Blitz had a dilemma. Does he try to put his opponent to sleep and use that to his advantage? Or poison his opponent and try to win the stall fight? He gave it some thought and then decided to go with the latter here. He knew that sleep was risky as it could be one or two turns which would not do him any good. The poison though, that'd be permanent and would slowly strip the Typhlosion clean. And this, he actually liked a bit more. "Alright, Poison Powder, then shock wave again!" He called out. Blitz had to be smart with this... Perseus had a lot of grass attacks which would not do much in this situation, thus he had to go with the one that would actually deal some damage. And Perseus followed through by sending poisonous spores in the air before he used a blue electric spark at the Typhlosion in hopes of damaging it a bit. After the attack was used, Blitz started to have second thoughts all over again. Should he have put the pokemon to sleep instead? That way he could have Perseus last a few turns? Well it was too late now... He already sent out the poisonous spores, he just hope it worked! ::Tangela:: (+1 attack, special attack) * name: Perseus | * Level: 33.5 | * Gender: Male * Item: Heat Rock (Sunny Day 8 turns) * Ability 1: Chlorophyll * Ability 2: Leaf Guard * Attack Set 1: Solar Beam, Mega Drain, Shock Wave, Vine Whip * Attack Set 2: Sunny Day, Growth, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder Hit by Flame Charge (SE). Not only was Ashes much too stubborn to lose against anyone, the type advantage was staggering. The shock wave was quite different, though, still doing a bit of damage on his Pokémon but not nearly as much as what the tangela must be taking. Boosted by the sunny day, fire attacks were simply dreadful, and the trainer wasn't going to let a good thing pass him by. He was not going to let this grass type fall. The sight of the poison powder made Blaze purse his lips just a little bit. He hated these things -- the spores that would cripple his Pokémon. This one seemed to be poison, and even with the distorted air flow due to the intense heat, Ashes hadn't been paying too much attention, busy standing on her hind legs in a show of power and superiority. It was only when she started to feel the effects that she noticed the poison. " Ashes -- quit playing around, leer and flame charge. Finish it off." He was going to do everything he could to give his Pokémon the advantage and to end the battle swiftly before the poison took too much damage. Ashes was more than happy to oblige, glaring at the tangela from her vantage point as she collected the flames around her, encircling her and giving her another boost in speed as she sped forward, much swifter than the time before. It did not have a stronger fire attack! This was good to know, very good. He had faith that Perseus would be able to survive at least one more of these while he was at it. Although the leer did catch the Tangela off guard and did make the attack hurt a lot more with the intense sunlight. "Crap. Perseus, you still can go?!" Blitz asked and Perseus quickly gave him a thumbs up. Although, it was blatantly obvious, he was at the red zone now, and low red zone as any attack next would knock him out. He was lucky that Flame Charge wasn't particularly strong, as an attack like flamethrower would have knocked him out this time around, definitely. Blitz simply looked over at the executive and crossed his arms. "You are proving yourself to be quite the fiery trainer." He said, not meaning for it to be a pun although it did sort of come off that way. He had one other chance to make an impact now though, what exactly would he do? "Growth. Lets use the sun to our advantage!" He said and Perseus grew exponentially now after absorbing in the sunlight, which made him glisten a bit. Good, now what? He could use mega drain and regain some health, but the attack would be lessened due to the resistance of his opponent to grass attacks. He could use vine whip? But what would that do? He wish he could use solar beam, but it'd take too long now after he already used growth. It suddenly hit him, he should have definitely tried to put the pokemon to sleep, not try to poison it. That was definitely not the right choice, and he definitely regretted it now, although there was no turning back. He thought for a second and then made up his mind. Not classy, not creative, but if the trainer wanted to play this game he might as well join along. "Shock Wave again." He said. He knew it was unavoidable so it worked to his advantage. Although he was sure that Perseus would faint next turn, unless by some divine miracle he would be able to dodge an attack or get something off... ::Tangela:: (+3 attack, special attack) (-1 defense) * name: Perseus | * Level: 33.5 | * Gender: Male * Item: Heat Rock (Sunny Day 8 turns) * Ability 1: Chlorophyll * Ability 2: Leaf Guard * Attack Set 1: Solar Beam, Mega Drain, Shock Wave, Vine Whip * Attack Set 2: Sunny Day, Growth, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder Hit by Flame Charge (SE) and Leer. Blaze watched, looking for signs of weakness, signs of the pokemon ready to faint. His own was still rather healthy, and despite the poison that will eventually take her down, he knew that Ashes would be just fine. The increases in stats would also help him survive future rounds. Still, they would have to defeat the tangela first. If the singes on her tentacles were any indication, she was heavily weakening. Blaze wasn't incredibly impressed with Blitz's comment, the pun grating his ears just a little bit. Yes, he was a fire pokemon trainer, and damn proud of it. He wasn't going to let this freak make fun of him for it. Ashes was feeling the pain. The wave of electricity running through her body quite painfully only intensified the burn of the poison. This one had hurt more than the one before -- perhaps the tangela growing in size wasn't just to make it a larger target for her to target practice on. Blaze frowned a little bit before issuing his next commands. " Defense curl, followed by Swift!" This would hopefully be a good way to transition into the next matchup, with his pokemon greatly advantaged by her boosts, despite the health that probably wasn't at its optimum. Ashes seemed a bit disappointed at the lack of fire attacks, wanting nothing but to slam into the tangela once again, but she obeyed her commands and curled into a tight ball, making herself less of a target and compacting her muscles. She the started to spin like a top, moving around the field in a zig-zag pattern, small stars shooting out of her body, all homing toward her intended target. This attack was sure to hit and she was confident that it would bring the weird ever-growing pokemon down. The only problem was, the colorful rainbows were unavoidable which did not do the Tangela any good as he was hit and fell on the floor, unable to battle as the fire attacks were simply too much for him. As he fainted, Blitz had again lost the advantage. Although now at his final three remaining, he would surely come with the best. He was saving the best for now, and the time had come to really give the executive a show. All three now were in their final forms, and all three had been well trained by Blitz, and well equipped for battles like this. Blitz was ready for the fight to take it's center stage now. No more joking around, no more messing around, it was time to win this battle once and for all. "Hey executive, I don't know about you but I'm tired of messing around. Now lets get it started for real." Blitz said to Blaze, giving him a nod and waiting to see if it was returned. The clicked the pokeball and returned Perseus before he tossed out another. From it came Sphinx, his Luxray who saw the Typhlosion and then saw the fire trainer, and then saw Blitz. The tension in the field was so thick it could be cut with a knife. He knew it was no time for games, and thus he decided to get serious for once. The epic hero quirk had to go this one time... He could tell it was no time for games or foolishness. Blitz needed him, and he would come through. "Alright Sphinx. Rain Dance." Blitz said. He knew how much Blazed liked the boost of the sunny day, so he might as well take it away from the fire trainer now. And wash away his pain with rain. Oh this was beautiful, brilliant even. Once that was set up, it was time for his first move. "Thunder Fang. Dig it in." He said and Sphinx moved like a majestic beast right now. He did not stumble, he did not fret, he did not horse around. Instead he moved with a certain swiftness to him that wasn't seen before, and he ran up to his target and tried to bite her. This was her battle and she was going to win this, despite the poison still slowly seeping her energy away. Nevertheless, if she could take down that tangela -- who was obviously much stronger than her, able to resist so many fire attacks -- then she was surely able to defeat anything that came her way. The next pokeball was for a luxray, which stared her down, trying to intimidate her. Though she would never admit it, she did feel a bit afraid, but held her poker face. And then it started to rain. Oh no he didn't. She refused to get her fur wet. This was simply prepostuous! Without even waiting for the pokemon to finish up his attack, she had summoned the sun back on, determined to win this weather battle. Much too engrossed in shifting the field to her favour, she had absolutely no time to defend herself against the thunderfang. The reflect shattered between the luxray's teeth, absorbing half the damage. Her elevated defence helped her take rest of the hit, and even then, it was as if the lion wasn't even trying. She had seen Flash fight -- this was definitely not right. Perhaps this luxray was just weaker? The small amount of damage made her quite cocky, fire already surrounding her as she wanted to go in for another flame wheel. Blaze, howerver, had a different idea. " You're right -- Let's finish this. SolarBeam!" The fire trainer knew a lot about luxrays, having raised one himself despite the lack of fire coming out of its fur. They could be quite strong, and especially after intimidating his typhlosion, he wasn't going to let her attack head on. But with Sunny Day back up, Solarbeam would do nicely. The sun in the sky charged up the attack, Ashes absorbing in all the energy, before letting it out with a bang, the beam of light thick and vivid, coming out of her maw toward the luxray. Then, in one quick swoop the fire type went with one of the strongest grass attacks in the game. She charged up and sent out a rainbow from her mouth to Sphinx. The Luxray could not help but watch the entire thing unfold, it was like the heavens lived inside her mouth, and he started to feel warm, beautiful, and "at home" when the attack hit him. The problem was, it also drained him quite a bit, which wasn't a good sign in this battle, but as the first attack done to him, Sphinx still had a bit of strength left. "Alright. Frustration go!" Blitz said to his Luxray who quickly sent out a normal (around 70 base power) frustration attack against the Typhlosion. It was much stronger in the past because of his hatred for his trainer, feeling he was the #1 evil the epic hero eventually had to beat. But after so many times with him, he started to respect Blitz a bit more and see some favorable light in him. Thus, the attack wasn't nearly as strong as it used to be, although he still hated his trainer more than he liked him... "Now charge!" Blitz said after he had gotten his frustration out. Blaze would just have to keep it up and have Ashes survive for as long as possible. When the command of frustration came, the trainer was quite interested in seeing how strong the attack was. Had Blitz trained the luxray to hate him? Had he been abusing his pokemon? Blaze watched the electric type's movements carefully, knowing that he would not hesitate to remove an abused pokemon from a trainer's hand. That attack was nothing but trouble. He could not for the life of him understand why anyone would want a pokemon to dislike him, just for the sake of a stronger attack. Ashes took the attack like a champ, curling back into a ball to lessen the damage a bit. " Keep it up, Blaze called, asking her to raise her defences a bit. She would still be able to survive until the next round, so he would have to take advantage of any time he got. " Solar beam, Again!" The attack was one of her strongest, and in the sun, it was simply deadly. The typhlosion collected the power from the sun she had created, soaking up every little bit, but it was no use. The poison was too much for her to handle and it sapped away the last of her energy. Blaze wanted to curse at his luck. Ashes was truly one of his strongest pokemon, and he would have to do without her. He let Lotus out, the combusken seeing the luxray and shaking, just a little bit. The electric type radiated strong energy and she wasn't sure if she was a suitable opponent. Still, the sun was high in the air, boosting her fire attacks. " Focus Energy, and then Double Kick - Flame Charge!" Blaze was going all out, activating the quick claw the combusken held in her hands. The pokemon concentrated her energy and hoped that it would guide her and allow her to break through her opponent's shields. Clenching her fist, she surrounded herself in fire before charging in head first, ignoring everything and simply attacking. She jumped into the air and tried to land a few kicks on the electric type before slamming down with all her might, fire surrounding her feathers, swirling them about. The Typhlosion had fallen and Blitz was now tied with the trainer again. This felt so great, so surreal, until the executive brought out his next pokemon and immediately had quick claw activated and two attacks activated at the same time. First came the Double Kick, which struck Sphinx on both sides, and then the flame charge hit on top of that, powered up by the sunny day and also landing on a critical spot in his body to make him go down on the floor, in pain from the duo attacks. Blitz was worried, because seeing the other pokemon in this executives team right now, he just assumed that the Combusken was around the same level as the rest and thus this could very well be the end of his Luxray. But to his surprise, Sphinx got up easily after the two attacks and got ready himself for a counter. It seemed, his opponent was weaker than what he had to face before, so the attacks, although powerful, did not do nearly as much damage as they could have. "You good?" He asked Sphinx, who looked at him and then gave a huff, to show that he was. "Alright. Swagger. Then Thunder Fang." He said and Sphinx quickly went to work. First, he began to bark and howl at his opponent in an attempt to increase her attack and also confuse her, then he charged and attempted to bite her with his fangs. The attack was much stronger than normal also thanks to the impact of charge. As she sent all of her electric energy out in that one fell swoop. "I see. So they call you the fiery trainer for a reason." Blitz acknowledged once he saw the fourth straight fire type by his opponent. He was glad he had a bit more diversity, although it did upset him that he did not carry a water pokemon on his main team. That would have made it so much easier... ::Luxray:: (+1 special defense) # name: Sphinx | # Level: 35.5 | # Gender: Male # Item: Expert Belt (20% SE) # Ability 1: Rivalry # Ability 2: Intimidate # Attack Set 1: Frustration, Thunder Fang, Bite, Thunder # Attack Set 2: Swagger, Rest, Charge, Rain Dance Hit by Double Kick and Flame Charge (CH). I can have a maximum of 7 so did you want to do a 7 vs 7? Or less? If 7 vs 7 I have a Darkrai although it's level 18 or something so it's a bit weak. And second, Quick Claw. Is it two attacks and a status in addition? Cause some other upper staff have thought it as just two attacks no status. I accepted yours but this is something we should discuss |

The luxray was much stronger, and the charge simply added to the pokemon's attack power. The combusken tried her best to dodge it, but the Pokémon had started doing these weird things that really confused and irritated her. What did the luxray want? She growled in frustration and readied to fight back, but the sudden burst in electricity knocked her out rather cleanly. Blaze wondered who would be strong enough to counter the luxray. He needed someone with a high enough level to be able to withstand the electric type's power. Returning Lotus to her pokeball, Blaze fiddled with the spheres on his belt before settling for Flicker. He had never used her in battle before and did his best not to think about the origins of the litwick, but she was strong and she had the skills to match her strength. The litwick felt an absolute sense of glee when she was allowed out of her pokeball. She floated in front of Blaze for a while, staring at the trainer who looked back with apprehension, before she went into the fray. The fire on her wick swayed back and forth almost hypnotically. " Will-o-wisp and Flame Burst," said Blaze, hoping she listened to him. Unfortunately, the ghost type had her own idea and wasn't going to let anyone tell her what to do. The glasses in front of her face floated with her, a mystical power holding it up. She floated around the luxray, sending out rays of energy, attempting to confuse him. Snickering, she then shot out a burst of fire before floating back in front of Blaze, rather satisfied with herself. That was easy, too easy. He had no idea what was going on, until Blaze returned the Pokémon and brought out another. Maybe the Luxray had gotten a huge boost? Or maybe Blaze just wanted to get in a few shots with a quick claw. Either way, the epic hero wasn't going to doubt what was going on. He had a battle to win, and his next opponent came out firing. First, the confuse ray blinded him momentarily and scrambled his head around as he was caught off guard by the intensity of the attack. Then, the flame burst came but luckily for him, he had a strongest defense thanks to the prior charge so he was able to handle the attack with a bit more ease than before. Still, it brought him down in health, almost to the point of fainting and now he had to really act quick or else it would be over. "Alright. Lets weaken the fires even more! Rain Dance. Then Thunder." He said. He was finally going for the home run right here. He had been saving Thunder all game, but here was the perfect time to use it and get his damage in. And with that, Sphinx roared when he heard the orders, ready to let it all out. >River gods. The epic hero calls you! Let it rain all over the field. And extinguish this Pokémon!< He said and the room began to darken as the rain came down really hard. Step one complete. Now for step two. >Roar! Lightning, Thunder, rainstorm. Let it all go!< He said and a huge thunderbolt came right after the Litwick. Sphinx, he was pulling out all the stops now! He would just have to use her more often and understand how she worked. All of a sudden, the sunny day changed, turning back into the rain that the luxray was able to summon. Blaze tried not to get annoyed as the drops fell on him, making his hair stick to his face unfomfortably while raindrops clung to his lashes. Flicker didn't seem too amused either, her blue flame not as strong as it used to be. Still, she would percevere through because no one was as amazing as her and she wanted this victory. The pussy cat was going down. The storm intensified, clouds forming in the small area and Blaze felt the static electricity build up. This wasn't going to be good. Thunder roared through the area and a bolt of lighting struck Flicker, the only target in the area. She let out a painful cry, not really used to being in battle. " Payback!" Blaze said, trying his best not to worry too much. His pokemon was still standing, still ready to keep battling, This time, Flicker was more than happy to use the pain to her advantage, channeling it into dark energy, boosting her attack power and charging toward the luxray. ::litwick:: ITEM » wise glasses - boost power of special moves ABILITY » flash fire - powers up fire type moves if hit by one || flame body - contact with the body may burn foe CONFUSE RAY - MINIMIZE - SMOG - PAYBACK - WILL-O-WISP - HEX - MEMENTO - FLAME BURST HEALTH LOW YELLOW

But at least the rain was still falling heavily which would hopefully lower the attack strength of the fire trainer and also become a nuisance to Blaze. He did not really enjoy the heavy rain himself either, but if it meant giving his team an advantage over this fire trainer. He wasn't going to say no... "So we are back where we started. Four down for each." Blitz acknowledged as he got ready for his next pokemon. "Did that first one impress you? I told you that it was time to get serious with my main foes!" He said to Blaze. He did not know why he even sought the appreciation of his executive, when Blaze clearly hated him and his existence, but he somehow did still want the kind words from the executive. Even though he was sure he was impressive himself. His next pokemon was one of his weakest actually in terms of levels. But hopefully Blaze would recognize it right away. It was one of the few he received from Team Death as a gift once he became commander. Or rather, that was what the note said. He wondered if it was Blaze, or Syl, or someone else, who gave it to him. And with that, he threw his pokeball down and Shadow, the legendary Darkrai popped out. "Again, I should thank you for giving me him." He said, seeing if Blaze knew about it or if it was someone else. Heck, since it's a birthday promo, we have a lot of leeway with it. It could have even come from Criminal Jenny. Maybe she wanted to have an uprising to overthrow Syl and retake Team Death?. Shadow came to the field and felt much stronger after all the battles he currently had. He was ready for this and started off strong with his initial strike. "Hypnosis. Then Ominous Wind." Blitz said, trying to go straight for the offensive in the beginning. He knew that against a ghost type like the Litwick, Ominous Wind was the right choice. And with the Bad Dreams ability of Shadow, Hypnosis was a very effective move. And Shadow got himself ready. He zipped right up to his opponent and tried to lull the Litwick to sleep with his hypnotizing eyes. After that was done, he shot a very speedy repulsive wind at the pokemon in hopes of doing some damage. Level difference would play a huge part in this battle, but he still had faith that he could handle it. Especially since bad dreams took 1/8 of the health, regardless of level difference. ::Darkrai:: # name: Shadow | # Level: 21 | # Gender: Male # Item: Focus Band (Fainting 10% less likely) # Ability 1: Bad Dreams # Attack Set 1: Focus Blast, Icy Wind, Ominous Wind, Quick Attack # Attack Set 2: Flash, Disable, Hypnosis Used Hypnosis and Ominous Wind

He had never seen one in person before, though the rumours of one being in Cheyenne had reached his ears. He was rather glad that it was a team death member who managed to get his hands on it, even if the trainer was just a bit disappointed that it wasn't himself. He wondered how well-trainer the pokemon was, how strong it was in Blitz's hands. Flicker stared the darkrai down, not feeling even an ounce of fear. She was more than ready to launch a confuse day on that floaty pokemon and reel him under her grasp. She just had to charge up her energy and -- and -- why was she so tired? What was the dark pokemon doing to her? Unable to keep her eyes open, Flicker fell asleep from the hypnosis, landing gently onto the ground, her flame extinguished as she rested. She barely moved as the ominous wind swept her over, doing super effective damage. Blaze watched her right herself in her sleep, though still oblivious to the world. She hadn't fainted yet, so the darkrai must not be that strong yet. However, she was nothing but a sitting duck. Hopefully she would wake up soon. Once she did, Blaze would have to move fast -- he still wanted her to at deal at least some damage to the legendary pokemon of nightmares.
