It wasn't as though Copper had trounced Gary, and apparently he hadn't won many battles before – this was a fluke. Gary had been distracted.
Even so, he knew he was going to get sneered at by Cinder. It was his fault she'd been defeated – surely she was going to kick him stupid for this. The Pokémon researcher quickly returned to the Pokémon Center to heal his Pokémon and switch around his team where need be, and then returned to the route in hopes of finding something interesting.
The snow had vanished by the next morning and the sky was relatively clear. There were only a few wisps of white cloud drifting in the sky in the distance, as refreshing as a gentle mist. Upon awakening earlier that morning, Cinder had labelled him as trash – again – and then returned to her Pokeball to rest. Since then he'd fed her a few rare candies as an apology, given to him on the ninth of March, and she'd seemed to explode with energy - and evolved. It had worked, anyway, and now they were on semi-decent terms. Now they were walking side-by-side along the route.

-------- WILD TYMPOLE APPEARED !
What was considered by some to be a beautiful part of the year happened to be the most dramatic part of an elder Tympole's life. She rested weakly at the edge of a pond, lying with heavy sighs on top of a moist bed of lily pads and seaweed. It was soft and comfortable, reminding her of her youth when she lived in the great Unova region. She traveled an awfully long way to make it this far, but she feared that her journey had finally met an end. <What a bitter way to go...> She wheezed out with tears lingering in the corners of her eyes, tail tapping against the bed lightly as she stared wistfully at the sky.
She supposed that her soul was meant to go up there someday, joining Arceus in that one mysterious realm. Did they call it the Dream World? She couldn't be sure. It would be awfully sad to leave her body here like this, she imagined. Would anybody even care to bury her? She shook her head clear of these miserable thoughts, suddenly left thinking about the one thing she wished she could do. If only she could reconcile with her granddaughter, then surely things would be alright. It just so happened that Gary and his Quilava wandered past, looking like energetic youths that could easily carry out a certain request.
<You there, please...would you listen to a dying woman's tale?> She looked pitifully at the Quilava, hoping that somehow she wouldn't be ignored. It might've been her last chance to settle things once and for all with her granddaughter, since she didn't think that she'd be able to do this with the amount of time she had left.

The undergrowth crunched beneath his heels, drowning out most of what the Tympole had said. Cinder stopped, lifting her triangular head and rearing up onto her hind legs to peer over the heather thicket. She could understand what the Tympole was saying, but was it really any of her business?
It looked like it was on it's last... Uh, fin. Gary was continuing down the path and hadn't noticed his callous partner pause to stare at the dying Tympole. Should she listen? Since it didn't concern her, she didn't really care what happened to it. It could get eaten and she wouldn't really care, but didn't Gary want to study Pokemon like that?
'Screw Gary. It's his fault I lost.' Cinder huffed and bounded away again into the long grass and after her trainer, leaving the Tympole behind. Perhaps if her partner had paid more attention, she would have stayed...

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The tympole was quite saddened that her wishes wouldn't be heard and let out a loud cry of "WHYYYYYY!!!!!" before suddenly her voice was cut off by something inhuman. Unusual gurgling could be heard, and it sounded rather inhumane. That was when more horrific noises could be heard, even by human ears, TYM !!!!!POOOOOOOLE!!!! she screamed in terror. Red eyes staring down at her as she coughed and hacked, trying to get her surroundings about her. Oh god, this was it for her wasn't it? No, not fair, but the dark pokemon was not living anymore either. The tympole was frightened for her life and next thing she knew it was biting her to pieces. Then it stopped and fell over on the ground, it's body suddenly decaying on the spot. Suddenly this area of the route became intensely dark, and a very evil aura started to spur forth as the Tympole suddenly lay still. Blood pouring out of her wound, and staining the ground with the blue blood. That's when the effects of the bite were setting in, and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. White was all that could be seen now, and a drooling mess was soon born. The tympole was now risen as one of the undead, but the circumstances were so unusual, there was no telling what was going on. Within minutes, she was already right behind Gary and the quilava. With one quick jump her teeth were bared, and slobbering drool fell to the ground. Even as the tympole had jumped into the air, her aim was obviously at the quilava. Uuugggh..garrruuu.....braaaings! was all the tympole said, and there was a very noticable bite on her neck revealing where she had been bitten, as worms were slowly infecting that area. It was to be expected as the zombie pokemon wanted nothing more than revenge for leaving it behind. ::tympole:: Level 12 - Female Swift Swim - Hydration Bubble||Growl||Supersonic||Round||Bubblebeam On her deathbed - Regretful - Sentimental Died...BUT, it doesn't end.
