Aisling winced as the Tackle hit Treecko head-on, but his hands came up and gripped the Bug Pokemon's wings firmly. Despite the fact it had winded him, he was determined not to let Aisling down, and his eyes glowed that vivid red again as he used Leer without direction, then leapt away. "Pound!" She'd seen the Leer and smiled at his cunning, and his immediate leap back into the fray, shoulder first towards Yanma's head, told her he was in this with her. The move gave him an incredible advantage against most of his foes because he did not have a strong attack, defense, or special attack or special defense. It was one of his ways of warding of predators and also winning battles once and for all. After five turns had past in the battle so far, his speed had almost reached its climax where he'd be near invisible. And although it played no factor so far in the battle, it was about to be very influential in this turn as the Treecko tried to catch the bug off guard with a leer and pound combination.
The leer worked, but the Yanma was way too fast to get hit by the pound that came. Instead, he easily evaded that technique before he came back with a tackle of his own. His speed was incredible, as he became almost invisible while he made his way towards the Treecko. Better watch out! With his speed advantage, he became almost impossible to hit now and just as hard to dodge.

"Aspen, brace yourself, then use Pound!" The call came as she saw the Yanma, barely, heading for her Treecko, and he braced himself as told, hands coming out. The attack still winded him, hitting him head on as it did, but he immediately wheeled, seeking to slam his formidable tail into the Bug type. He was hurting, and wanted to end this as much as his Trainer wanted to see it end. This was turning out to be a challenging battle, moreso than the silly Yanma had mentioned it might be earlier. More than two turns had passed after all! Watching the pokemon trying to hit him, but he quickly flew up a little further. Even as he was pounded by him and flew a little ways back. Then suddenly started to head towards the treecko again, ready to take it on with another few attacks. Well, that was interesting, let's go for round five, and anyways, take this! he said to the other pokemon. Suddenly using his mind, but he could only think of one thing. Then he quickly zoomed down and used a quick tackle on the pokemon in return. Making sure that he hits his target using his eyes to target the treecko, using the extra speed to make the tackle appear stronger too. ::yanma:: YANMA (M) 4 Bug / Flying Speed Boost || Compoundeyes Tackle | Foresight Excitable - Imaginative - Overly Curious - Plays make-believe - Intuitive (-3 Def) (+5 speed) Hit by Pound. Aisling winced as Aspen was unable to avoid the hit, and tumbled head over tail backwards, though he quickly sat up, shaking his head and proving the battle wasn't over yet. "Aspen, are you alright?" Getting a little shakily to his feet, he forced himself to remain upright, wobbling a little bit. That had HURT, damnit! Flicking his tail in answer to his Trainer's query, he faced Yanma, watching him intently. How to see something near invisible? Wait.... He closed his eyes, listening intently, and then smiled. He couldn't SEE Yanma, but he could HEAR those wings of his buzzing away, giving away his location. His head turned quickly and he leapt at the Bug Type, tail slamming down in a Pound that was backed by all the strength he had in his slight frame. He could only hope it hit... ------ WILD YANMA!
That final Pound attack was all the Treecko needed to take out the Yanma, sending the bug spiraling into the ground. He groaned with an arm outstretched towards the sky, grousing as he glared at the blinding sun's rays. The illustrious beams of light went right into his eyes, forcing the large dragonfly to hiss and shut them quickly. He twitched a few times in his spot, as if he was unwilling to give up in this pitiable state. <I'm supposed to be amazing...ugh.> He managed to pant out before his muscles loosened, allowing him to remit into the ground peacefully.
Naturally, he wasn't dead or anything similar to it. His exhausted state sent him into a brief period of unconsciousness, mostly due to a strong desire to rest. At least by now, there was hardly anything stopping the trainer from catching her first wild Pokemon in Cheyenne. The Yanma knew his fate, so he hardly had a reason to complain about the deal he made with the trainer. Since he agreed to the conditions before the battle, he wasn't even going to try to escape whatever Pokeball she sent his way. Though whether the Pokeballs were actually functional or not was a different story.

Aisling held her breath as Aspen's tail came down, then released it as he hit, and Yanma went down, giving in rather ungracefully to unconciousness. Smiling gently, she reached for the Pokeball to the front of her left hip(Aspen's sat sat just in front of the right one) and tossed it, watching as it hit the Bug-type and opened, emitting its beam of red light to surround him. She then watched and waited to see if it tried to escape, somehow guessing it wouldn't, but still unsure. While she waited, Aspen sighed and flopped to the ground, exhausted and hurting. He'd welcome the Pokeball right now, so he could rest. She was about to go get it when the Combee showed up, and she hesitated. Aspen was already hurting severely, and she didn't want him getting into another battle. Cocking her head, she worried her lower lip for a moment, then moved forwards, wondering if maybe she could shoo the Pokemon away. Hey Combee, that's our's, Aspen said. There was no trace of a threat in his voice, just the exhaustion he was feeling. He didn't want to get into another battle anymore than his Aisling did, but they had won that battle, and the right of capture, fair and square. Can we please have it back?(( Thank you ))

The combee looked up at the sound of the treecko's voice. <Oh! Hello there! You don't look so good.. Is this yours then? Are you taking care of it?" he asked. He could see that the treecko wasn't doing very well at the moment and wondered if he could help at all. Maybe he'd like some honey? He then looked around at the girl nearby, she was coming towards him, what was she going to do??
He buzzed up into the air holding the pokeball and watching them both. <Will you promise to take care of it if I give it to you? It can be a gift!" he said excitedly, not really understanding that the pokeball belonged to them already.

But... Oh nevermind. Of course we will, Treecko replied, sighing softly. It was already their's of course, but he didn't want to annoy the Combee, or else it might attack them, and he didn't have the strength to defend his trainer at that moment. So annoying it would be an incredibly bad idea.
Aisling frowned as it rose into the air, but it didn't run away with her Pokeball, so she didn't get upset. And it was speaking with Aspen, so she could only hope her Pokemon could talk it into giving the ball back to her.

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The combee just sat there, hovering in the air listening to the pokemon's pleas for the ball back, but he was certainly just another of the workers without a real mind to tell the trainer what else was going on. Funny enough, he soon just let the pokeball drop to the ground after having examined it for a bit, but he was tempted to snatch it up to take back to the queen. After all, that would have gotten him a promotion to become a royal guard. Well, he couldn't sit and sib over that now, as he was going to be nice as he returned the trainer's pokeball. Easy enough for him to give it over willingly, but a part of him told him that he shouldn't have done that. Well, he wasn't going to just linger on those feelings and soon bounded slightly, You better take good care of it, or I'd have to hurt you! he said to them accusingly. ::combee:: Male level 8 Honey Gather Sweet Scent - Gust ~Honest - Good Worker - Caring - Paternal~

We will, don't worry, Aspen assured him. His Trainer not understanding Pokespeech wasn't a good thing. It was kind of annoying actually, since it meant he had to talk for her. Sighing, he then waited patiently for Combee to back off just a little bit.
Aisling moved forwards as the ball fell, making it sure it didn't hit the ground. Taking a deep breath herself, she then moved to put it away. "Thank you Combee," she said politely.

::combee:: Male level 8 Honey Gather Sweet Scent - Gust ~Honest - Good Worker - Caring - Paternal~ Asks if you need any help before he leaves! The combee gave a small smile before he nodded his head at the pokemon and trainer; it was part of his nature to help anyone who needed it, or was in trouble in fact. That was one of the reasons he made so many friends quickly, as most of them were able to trust in him if they needed to confide in any secrets or if something was bothering them. "Well, I must say farewell to you both. I have to get back to the hive to get on with my shift; that honey won't mine itself you know!" He said with a cuckle at his own joke, beofore fluttering in front of the duo. "Do you require any assistance or directions with anything before I leave?" He said, still trying to help out as much as possible.

Aspen considered that for a moment, cocking his head slightly, then glanced back at Aisling before looking to Combee once more. Well, we are trying to make our way to the other end of this route. Do you know which way we should go? he asked curiously, tail twitching.
Aisling watched the exchange, trying not to worry her lower lip in case it gave away how nervous she was. The Combee didn't seem inclined to attack, but that didn't mean anything really, she thought.

Thank you! Aspen called after him, then picked up the Pokeball containing Yanma and padded back to Aisling, handing it to her. He then turned and went forwards a few steps, then looked back, waiting for her.
"Thank you, Aspen," she replied, taking it, then putting it to the front of her left hip. She then followed the Treecko, who was looking exhausted. That caused her to take his Pokeball and return him to it so he could rest. The path was very beautiful, and as she continued on, she just savored that beauty, and the little sounds of life she could hear. What else will I run into? she wondered.

Unaware of the trainer beside her, but when she noticed the taller figure passing by her, she suddenly looked up at the trainer. Without warning she decided to jump onto the trainer's leg to try to attach to it for a free ride. It was merely just an urge to jump for no reason, and looking at the other pokemon nearby. The budew obviously was bold, and kept silent the whole time too. Not bothering to ask for help or anything, because she was wanting to get places right now. She blinked as she suddenly found the Budew attached to her leg. "Umm.... Hi?" she said curiously, continuing to walk. The Pokemon had seemed to want to continue onwards, so she was willing to help the little one along if it aided it. She wouldn't be able to understand anything it might say, of course, but she didn't mind this.
