She blinked and glanced in the direction the Budew was pointing. It was opposite the direction she wanted to go, and she frowned slightly, shaking her head. "Sorry little one. If you want to go that way you'll have to go yourself. I'm going this way," she said lightly, her tone apologetic. She didn't want to upset the Pokemon, seeing as she couldn't really get into a battle with Aspen and Yanma(who she'd decided to name Dragonfly) still so tired and weakened from their battle.
She could only hope that the Budew would forgive her inability to aid it.

-------- BUDEW !
This was not something the Budew could tolerate! This trainer wasn't listening to her, so all she could do was stomp her tiny feet in retaliation. <No, we're going this way!> She waddled behind the trainer's legs without much consideration for the trainer's feelings. All she wanted was for her slave to listen to her, since she really didn't want to go to that scary place all by herself! Not that she'd admit that out loud, anyways. <I need your assistance, slave. Come along, little doggie.> She snorted, determined to make this human follow her.
It looked as if Aisling was going to have to try something else in order to get away from this Budew. Reasoning with her wasn't going to work; not when this Pokemon was so headstrong! It would've been pretty easy to simply walk away from the Budew, seeing that her human legs were so much longer than the tiny stubs the Budew had. What would the trainer try next?

She blinked and cocked her head slightly, then sighed softly. The Budew was upset, that much she could tell, but there was really nothing she could do. She needed to go the other way to reach the end of the path, and she needed to reach the Pokemon Center in the next town to heal her Pokemon. Considering for a long moment, she then shook her head.
"I'm sorry little one. I'm afraid I just can't help you," she said firmly, although her tone still had an apologetic tone to it. She then turned slightly, enough that she could move away, but not so far that she couldn't still see the Budew in case it decided to attack.

though the real attack came after a series of squeals and snarls and rivers of tears. she sniffled once it was all finished. < you win, i leave. i win, you become my slave. > she said, before the absorbing green bubbles left her body and sprayed out towards the girl.

She blinked as she watched the little Pokemon, and muttered under her breath, a soft curse, as she recognized what was happening. She'd pissed the Budew off, big time, apparently, but her Pokemon were not yet healed... She had Potions, but would they be enough to help in fending off the attacking Pokemon?
Pulling one of her empty Pokeballs out, she swiftly tossed it at the Budew. She wasn't overly hopeful that it would work, the Pokemon still being at full strength, but she wanted to preserve what supplies she had as long as possible. If this trick failed, she'd pull out Aspen, since she wasn't sure of her control over Dragonfly just yet....

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The pokeball was lobbed in the air and the budew's attacks should have hit something, instead she was returned with nothing. Only a pokeball to the face, and she was still highly annoyed, although she was very easy to capture that didn't mean she was going to actually do anything else. Finally the pokeball rocked once, and that was just the last straw for the budew even as she was looking the trainer dead in the eye as she was sucked in. Within a few minutes, the ball clicked shut and everyone was happy even as the budew had tried fighting it's way out. Finding it almost impossible since she felt weakened by her own anger, and the force had been used against her. Aisling watched intently as the ball went through the air, though she was nervous as well. She dodged the attack that had been made against her, then skidded to a halt and eyed the now still Pokeball. She was wondering if she dared try and train this odd little Pokemon, though she knew that Roselia and Roserade were awesome Pokemon in their own right. But she had been raised with Ponyta and Rapidash, who were most definitely NOT little Grass-types like Budew.
Perhaps Aspen could talk to it, she wondered, padding forwards and picking up the ball thoughtfully. She still had a ways to go, even as short as the path was, after all, and she didn't have time to be putzing around. Having thought that, she nodded and put the ball away, then continued onwards, hoping she wouldn't run into another Pokemon before she could get to a Pokemon Center...

That was when he spotted a young trainer! Quickly he hopped over to the trainer, a smile upon his face. >Hey! Hey there!< he called out as he tried to hop as high as possible to get the trainer’s attention. >Hey! I wanna tell you your fortune! Let me tell you!< he called as he continued to hop up and down. His little wings flapping his little wings that wouldn’t help him fly up as he had a much bigger body then his wings. If only he was a xatu already, they could fly! Unlike him!

Aisling blinked as yet ANOTHER Pokemon barred her path, this one chirping and flapping it's little wings excitedly. What now? she wondered, eying the Natu carefully. She didn't want to use anymore Pokeballs, though possibly having a Natu, a Psychic type, around could be useful... However.
"I'm sorry little one. I don't understand you," she admitted, watching it to see how it reacted to that bit of news. She'd know in a moment, she thought. Well, she MIGHT anyways.

< hey! hey! hey! > he chirped, trying to get the trainer's attention as he hopped feebly down the road. it was really difficult to get along when his wings were so small and his body so tiny, but the natu put that down to simple aerophysics. he knew all about aerophysics, he'd seen the word on the spine of a book in a town once, and he had figured the rest out all on his own. < well, i can understand you. did you know i can speak thirty-two different languages? > he said, in his usual little know-it-all fashion. closing his eyes and flapping his wings dramatically to catch her attention, he hopped in front of her, attempting to block every possible path she could take to get away. < here, let me tell you your future. come on, i know it would help you. i've helped so many other people with my talents, you know! > he said firmly. he was going to let her leave until he'd told her the future. she needed to know - and she could believe him when he said that it was a real doozy!
