The misdreavus listened as carefully as ever. There were no more groans or gunts heard. Was the battle really over? She phased through the floor to get a quick peek. It had to be over. There was no more ghastly. She helped the duskull through and returned to Jay. She gave a small smile in a thank-you before thinking of something. She left the duskull near jay and floated off, checking all corners for the evil Pokémon. It only took her a moment to return with a small box, a present she had found awhile back. The box held a small stone known for evolving electric-type Pokémon. A thunderstone. She returned to the duskull's side and waited for Jay to open it. Hopefully she'd like it. It wasn't much but it was all she could have gotten on such short notice.

Jay looked at teh box and picked it up. She smiled and opened it up. Her eyes went really wide as she saw what was in it. "Oh!" She gently touched the stone. "It's beautiful." Jay looked up at the two pokemon. "I don't deserve it." She shook her head, but knew it was rude to reject a gift. "Thank you so much." Jay pointed at the roof. "The Ghastly went that way, be careful, if you ever need help again, just find me, I'll get him to leave you alone somehow." She bowed to the Duskull and the Misdreavus. "I must be off, ever you need help, just ask." Jay carefully tucked the box in her pack and smiled at teh two before walking away.

Around the courner of one of the hallways, a Sentret was trying to stop itself from sliding upon the slippery tiles in the Power Plant. They must've been mysteriously waxed or something, for when it turned to dash down the hall way where Jay was coming out of it ended up sliding into the wall. Face first, which was the worst kind of all. Slowly backing away from the wall, the normal type began mummuring incoherent sayings. Perhaps checking on it would be a wise idea? Or maybe it was all right, and you could just move on with the guilt knowing that you didn't take my advice.

Jay watched as it ran into the wall and got up, then started to started to speak unintelligently. She covered her mouth with her hands and ran over to the pokemon. "Oh my! Are you alright?" She asked. Jay ran over to the Sentret and slipped on the floor, falling but she quickly got up and put out a hand to touch the pokemon, but didn't she withdrew it and covered her mouth again. "Oh dear."

Slowly regaining most of its senses, the Sentret stood on its hind legs. Leaving its tail to lay limp beside it, looking like a deformed snake. The Pokemon itself was questionably sane at the moment, but it looked terrified once it began looking around the hall way.
<No! I'm not fine, none of us are! Didn't you hear that the end of the world is near? We're all gonna dieeee...> It started sobbing into its fur, staining it a dark color. It was trying hard not to try in front of this kind girl, but it was hard once you were told something as horrific as that.
This Sentret happened to be a very gullible Pokemon, and all of the nearby Pokemon got their kicks by pulling tricks on it. Whispering lies and tall tales into its ears and never second guessing their word. This happened to be one of their pranks, and it wasn't the first to have it running around the Power Plant like a mad man.

Jay looked at the pokemon with wide eyes. "Oh, all of you?" She frowned and stood up. "I think you might need help." She shook her head. "The world isn't going to end." She smiled. "Don't worry, you wont die, nothing's wrong." She promised.

<Nonono!> it shouted back. It crawled onto her lap and slapped her right across the face. <We must slap sense into the senseless! That is what they say.> By 'they' the sentret meant the pokemon who were teasing him. It curled up into a ball on her lap and began to rock. <Die, die, die.> It's head snapped back to Jay as its eyes widened. <I'm not ready to DIE!> It jumped off her lap and began to run again, only to fall again. It got up and fell back down once more before just staying down on the ground. <THOSE STUPID BRITISH FOOLS!> he shouted madly. <They are trying to keep me down while they drink all that stupid tea.> Tears of strange frustration began to fall down its cheeks. It spasmed on the floor as it shouted, <I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR TEA!> Surely it was under the impression that the british were sabatoging its escape. That and they drank too much tea.

Jay looked even more shocked when she was slapped. "Well! I never!" She watched the pokemon fall over and start to shout. She walked over to it and slapped it in the face. "Slap sense into the senseless." She nodded. "You won't die, I wont let you!" She snapped. This was rather mad for Jay. "There have been pokemon teasing you, that is easy to see." She shook her head. "I will not let you die, I will not!" She sat down by the pokemon and smiled. "Don't worry, the world will not end, you will not die." She softly sang to the pokemon.

<But the brits. Those awful tea-drinking brits.> It tired to struggle out of her arms but it didn't work, it was simply too tired from all that running. <They have planted a bomb in the center of the world, it shall blow us all up!> Seeing that its struggling was not working, it began to panic. It needed to get away from her to try and escape this death somehow. Thinking of nothing else, it quickly began to knaw at her hand with its sharp teeth.

Jay narrowed her eyes and scolded the pokemon. “Stop it; you can’t believe what you heard. There is no bomb!” She still held on onto the pokemon, even when it started to bit her hand. “Stop it now!” She slapped it again. Jay frowned, trying to think of a way to save the poor creature. “The british have not planted a bomb.” Jay sighed and switched tactics. “Come on, I don’t want to die, let’s run and get out, I’ll save you and you can save me! We can run away from the bomb! Come on.”

<Stop slapping me you cruel she-witch. I bite my thumb at you!> the pokemon shouted angrily and continued to bite harder. It would bite all the way through her hand if it had to. But then he heard her remark about running away. <You finally believe me!> the naive sentret exclaimed happily. Since it was still stuck in her arms, it couldn't really run away just yet. <Up with you she-witch! Get up and run.>

Jay nodded. “Come on, we must go quickly, I don’t want to die!” She got up and held out her hand. “Come, quick, we would die if we don’t hurry.” Jay almost didn’t wait for the crazy pokemon, She grabbed it’s hand and pulled it along. “Don’t be slow, we have to leave!”

<Yes, yes. This is great now that we see eye to eye...> the sentret shouted out with a grin. It looked to Jay's hand as she pulled her along. The sentret pulled its paw away and simply jumped up onto Jay's back, holding on around her neck. <Run faster!> This way the sentret would have to do no work at all.

Jay held onto the Sentret and ran. “Ok, faster!” She ran faster and faster. “We’re almost away from the bomb.” She quickened her speed and ran as fast as her legs could take her. She got far, far away from the “Bomb” and slowed to a quick walk. “I think we are far away from the bomb.” She panted. Jay could only run so far without passing out.

Then Sentret nodded its approval as it relaxed into Jay's arms. Everything did seem safe, calm at least. Its giant tail was swinging down below it as the the Sentret retracted its claws. Its paws were incredibly soft against Jay's skin as it gave a smile.
<Yes, everything is well. You are a bit of a slow learner, but a fast runner. Thats for sure.> The Sentret grinned an even brighter smile as it looked up at Jay. She was a pretty girl, for a she-witch.
<Umumum, are you gonna put me down now? > It looked down before gasping out in horror.
<Ack! Not on the cracks! NOT ON THE CRACKS! I love me mom too much!> It wailed, yet again another supersition was aroused in the Pokemon's mind. What an adventure this was turning out to be.

Jay smiled back at the pokemon but stopped before she set it on the ground. “Oh, so do I.” She set the Sentret on the ground, away from the cracks. “Yes I am a slow learner.” She nodded. She knelt down. “Are we far enough away from the bomb?” She softly sang. Jay sat down by the Sentret and held out her hand. “I’m Jay.” She had her palm up, her small hands were rather large in comparison to the small pokemon.

The Sentret sighed in relief as it placed its feet on the solid center of the tiled floor around them. Its tail was curled up around it as it returned the smile Jay gave it. Placing both of its soft paws into her hands and clasped them. Giving them a gentle shake before letting go, although a bit reluctant.
<Nice ta meet'cha. To be honest, I've never seen a witch up close before. My friends were wrong about you creatures. Especially because I don't see a bump on your nose...At least I think its your nose.> It scrunched up its own nose at it studied Jay's face without much thought. Not at all concerned that staring was rude, for it was too busy thinking.
<Yes, the bomb should be far far away. Of course, now I should be worrying about the building falling down when it goes off.> It sweatdropped as the thought gave it a startling image. Would the bomb really be that powerful? The Power Plant did seem like a strong and sturdy place, it would have to talk with the other Sentret's later on. <Your bigger than me, so you might be in danger. I can escape with my ninja like body!> It exclaimed, mixing up the words 'nimble' with 'ninja'.

Jay frowned. “Witch?” She asked and started laughing. “I’m not a witch.” She shook her head and knelt before the Sentret, careful not to kneel on any cracks. “See, no bump on my nose.” She pointed to her nose then smiled. “Far away, right!” She folded her arms and laughed. “Ninja body? Do you mean Nimble, as in quick?” Jay shook her head. “I hope I don’t get hurt.” She held out her hand. “Come on; let’s get farther away, less chance of me getting hurt.” She winked.

The Sentret gave a confused look, before nodding slowly. Maybe its friends made a mistake of some kind? Arceus knew that it made them all of the time. Crossing its arms a bit in a thoughtful phase, it nodded.
<I'm taking your word for it lady. And I said Nimble, Goofball.> It teased, giving her a light bonk on the head before taking her hand on the way to their escape. Jay's bright modd was really addictive, for soon it was laughing along with her. Despite the fact that it really thought she was in danger.
<Ai ay ay! The monster lives in there!> It shouted, trying to drag its feet on the ground to stop Jay from going in there. With a timid curiosity it looked up at the door the two had stumbled upon. It was a large metallic door, that was cracked half way open. If you looked inside you could see that there was no light inside at all. No one knew what was in it, except for a strange growling that came every five seconds.
<Its not safe, I know this! I've seen the monster with my own eyes!> It squeaked, hiding behind Jay's legs.

Jay stopped and looked down at the Sentret. "Monster?" She asked. Jay alughed. "Let's go check it out!" She walked towards the door. Jay pulled around her backpack and pulled out a pokeball. "If we get attacked, I can save us." Jay walked back to the Sentret and held out her hand. "Don't worry, I wont let us get hurt."
